This study proposes a wearable smart device system architecture which consists of three elements: (1) a sensor part which has an input function, (2) a control part which is in charge of calculation or judgment, and (3) an output part which displays data and connects to IoT. The wearable smart device system architecture proposed by this study is a general model, the usage of which is expected to increase. It is also expected to raise customer satisfaction and understand with wearable products in the IoT environment.

In order to actively keep up with the changes in the global business and market environments, it is very important to adopt new technologies, such as convergence technology, to increase the competitiveness of enterprises. Three factors that contribute to the success of adopting new technologies are; 1) managements’ understanding and interest in new technologies, (2) middle managers’ and workers’ understanding of and attitude toward new technologies; (3) the technical and marketing competence of companies that offer new technologies. These three factors are all necessary for good results. The model of new technology adoption that are proposed in this study are all conceptual, therefore, in-depth analysis is required in further empirical studies, in which they will be applied to corporations.

This study evaluated the performance of open-source Korean natural language processing (NLP) tools with resume data, which include written texts to be analyzed for obtaining Human Resources (HR) insights. The results of this study showed that the overall performance of Korean morphological analyzers was satisfactory and Fasttext dealt with similar and rare vocabulary better than other algorithms of word embedding. Plus, TextRank and genism_summarizer successfully extracted the key phrases of a sentence. In contrast, Korean OCR packages produced poor results. Recently, an enormous amount of HR data such as resume and cover letter has been available, and if they are appropriately analyzed with NLP tools, the automation of HR work will be achieved.

As the climate problem becomes more serious, mitigating the heat island effect is becoming an important issue. To solve the problem, it is necessary to identify the areas where the heat island effect is more severe and present appropriate measures to those areas. In this paper, we divided Seoul into 573 grids and divided into four clusters by hierarchical clustering techniques to identify the current status of the city's heat island effect. Of these cluster, we chose the one with the most urban features. We extracted the variable importance with random forest models and developed the heat island index from 1) multiplication of the variable importance and 2) the sign of the correlation coefficient between temperature and 3) the corresponding variable. Furthermore we analyzed areas where the heat island effect is severe with the index. According to the analysis, the heat island effect was particularly severe in five grids, and we suggested ways to mitigate the heat island effect for the areas concerned.

This study empirically verified the effect of the use of enterprise SNS on teamwork and work performance and the effect of teamwork on work performance for corporate employees. To accomplish the purpose of this study, we proposed a research model, set up research hypotheses, and verified the hypotheses based on previous studies. For this study, we surveyed the employees of ‘H’ corporations at Ulsan city. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the use of enterprise SNS has a significant effect on teamwork. Second, teamwork has a significant effect on work performance. Third, the use of enterprise SNS has a significant effect on work performance. Through the results of this study, it can be confirmed that the introduction and utilization of enterprise SNS suitable for the company leads to the revitalization of the members' teamwork and the improvement of the work performance.
