Objectives: This study purposed to identify the factors influencing cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) skills in nursing students. Methods: The research design was descriptive study. Data were collected through structured questionnaires. The participants of this study were 202 nursing students in B & U metropolitan city, and C city. Data were collected from November 15 to November 30, 2013. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and Multiple stepwise regression with SPSS WIN v 20.0. Results: CPR knowledge(r=0.51, p<0.001), critical thinking disposition(r=0.43, p<0.001), CPR attitude(r=0.56, p<0.001). self efficacy(r=0.74, p<0.001), and CPR skills were significantly correlated with each other. Predictors of CPR skills were self efficacy, CPR knowledge, critical thinking disposition, grade, and CPR attitude. These variables explained 60% of CPR skills. Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between metabolic syndrome and cataract in a middle-aged men over the age of 40’s by using the data from the 5th Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(2010∼2012). Methods: The subjects for the analysis were comprised of 5,808 patients who were at least 40 years or more with metabolic syndrome and cataract. The comparison between the metabolic syndrome and ophthalmic diseases according to the health demographic characteristics, health behavior and health conditions was analyzed with χ2-test. The complex samples logistic regression analysis was used to calculate the odds ratio of cataract according to the health demographic characteristics, health behavior and health conditions and the combination of the comprising factors of the metabolic syndrome. Results: After controlling the confounding factors, the odds ratio of cataract in the metabolic syndrome group was OR 1.30, which was significantly high (p<0.01). Furthermore, the odds ratio of cataract was significantly high in the case of males, as the age increased, educational level decreased, with exercising habits of less than 3 days a week, sun exposure of at least 5 hours, with hypertension and diabetes (p<0.01). The results of analyzing the odds ratio for the occurrence of cataract with the components of metabolic syndrome were OR 1.36 (concurrent high fasting blood glucose, high triglycerides, low HDL cholesterol), OR 1.63 (concurrent high fasting blood glucose, high triglycerides, high waist circumference) and OR 1.33 (high triglycerides, low HDL cholesterol, high waist circumference), which showed significantly high odds ratio for cataract occurrence (p<0.05). Conclusions: We come to know that the relation between metabolic syndrome and components are associate with cataract. Therefore the thorough management of metabolic syndrome and components is needed to prevent cataract.

Methods: The subjects were college students who agree to participate in research Cheonan, Daegu, Ulsan. 314 college students were fill out the questionnaire themselves. Results were analyzed by using frequency, t-test, ANOVA, correlation Analysis and regression analysis of SPSS program ver. 21.0. Results: Oral impact on daily performances(OIDP) of influence Factors is as follows: The male is nicotine dependence, toothache and female is subjective oral health status, grade. Male have a positive effect on the quality of life relating to oral health when lower the nicotine dependence. Both male and female have a positive effect on the quality of life relating to oral health when no more toothache. Conclusions: In this study, there was a difference in the factors affecting the quality of life relating to oral health according to gender. Therefore, oral health care measures should be a difference according to gender. Male's oral health promotion programs should be considered in conjunction with non-smoking education. For female, the age should be considered when developing an oral health promotion program.

Objectives: This study was carried out to measure knowledge, attitude, and practice and related factors of low-salt diet among university students. Methods: Data from a convenience sample of 251 nursing and engineering students of two universities in south-western part of Korea were collected during March 16~20, 2015 using a self-reporting questionaire and urine test. The instruments developed by Lee and Song(1999) were used to measure knowledge and practice, and Ahn(2013) for attitude toward low-salt diet. A spot urine salt stick(SaltSinal®) was also used to evaluate practice of low-salt diet. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0, and t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and Scheffe test were used. The study was IRB approved. Results: Knowledge, attitude, and practice of low-salt diet was low and spot urine salt level was high among university students. Knowledge and attitude were higher and spot urine salt level was lower among nursing students. Knowledge and attitude were related to gender and drinking. Living arrangement, monthly allowance, smoking, frequency of eating-out, frequency of breakfast were shown not to be related to knowledge and attitude. None of the variable investigated were significantly related to practice of low-salt diet. However, spot urine salt was related with gender, living arrangement, and smoking. Conclusions: A rigorous health education is necessary in order to lower dietary salt among university students. Considering frequent eating-out among university students, it is also very important to lower salt amount in foods sold on- and off-campus.

Program coverage period is 12 weeks and 30 minutes per session was conducted twice a week. Differences between the experimental group and the comparison group has conducted the independent samples t-test, and if the difference between the experimental group and the comparison group were verified by performing a variance analysis(Oneway ANOVA) and post multiple comparisons. Results: Analysis of the experimental group decreased anxiety in the post-test than the pre-test as a whole, in particular, sub-areas of concern, shame and shyness was shown to be effective, and decision of the difficulty was not significant by insignificant reduction.
