일부 치위생과 학생의 자아효능감, 자아탄력성, 학과만족도가 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects that the self-efficacy, self-elasticity, and major satisfaction of students majoring in dental hygiene would have on the adaptation to the campus life. Methods: The total 396 students were surveyed who majored in dental hygiene in universities located at Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam from October 15, 2013 to October 30. The collected data were analyzed by using the SPSS 17.0 program, along with the One-Way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multi-regression analysis. Results: The ‘aptitude and interest’ were found to be greatest factor among the motive for application among the factors of self-efficacy, self-elasticity, and major satisfaction of students, depending on general characteristics. The results of correlation analysis showed that the self-elasticity had a correlation of 0.741 and the adaptation to the study had a correlation of 0.420 in the self-efficacy, while the individual emotional adaptation, adaptation to university environment, and adaptation to the study had a correlation as high as over 0.4 in the self-elasticity(p<0.05). In addition, it was found that the adaptation to the campus life increased proportionally to the self-elasticity and major satisfaction (p<0.05). Conclusions: To increase the campus life adaptation of students majoring in dental hygiene, it is considered necessary to explore the measures that can improve the self -elasticity and overall major satisfaction.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the mediated effect of social support in relationship of stress and mental health of woman college students. Methods: Data were collected by distributing self recording type questionnaire to 336 woman students in three universities placed in Gyeonggi-do, who agreed attending to the research, and then were re-collected. The statistical methods used for data analysis were the descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, One-way ANOVA test, Pearson correlation coefficient, hierarchial regression analysis. Results: 1. According to the research, it appeared that social support differed depending on the grade the one is in(F=10.643, p<0.05), and mental health(F=3.446, p<0.05) and social support(F=2.444, p<0.05) differed depending on the family's economical level. 2. As the result of analysis of relationship of objects' mental health, stress, and social support, it appeared that mental health and stress(r=-0.605, p<0.01), mental health and social support(r=0.276, p<0.01) have relationship to each other. 3. As the result of hierarchial regression analysis for verifying the mediated effect of social support in relationship of research objects' stress and mental health, it showed that social support partially mediate in relationship of stress and mental health. Conclusion: The program which can intensify woman college students' social support and decrease stress needs to be developed and provided, in order to arrange solution of promoting woman students' mental health.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to develop programs that help students adjust to school and provide basic data for the students who have difficulty adjusting to school by analyzing the influence of elementary school students’ stress and their relationship with parents on school adjustment. Methods: The study surveyed fourth graders in 3 elementary schools in G district. The researcher used convenience sampling to select the 3 elementary schools. The combined 158 students were selected for the analysis, and the survey was conducted for a month in September 2011. The stress monitoring tool used in the 5th year of Korean Youth Panel Survey was mobilized to measure levels of stress among the participants. To measure the parent-child relationship, the Korean Parent-Child Relationships Scale was used. For the measurement of school adjustment, a tool designed to identify the school adjustment of elementary school students was used. The SPSS 21 software and a two-sided test under the significance level of α=0.05 were used to analyze data. The regression analysis was also used to identify the relative influence of the stress and parent-child relationship on children’s adjustment to school. Results: The regression analysis has found the following: the higher peer stress (B=-0.175) and parental strictness (B=-0.159) grow, the lower the level of school adjustment gets; the higher the level of intimacy between parent and child gets, the higher the level of school adjustment grows; and intimacy between parent and child (β=0.400) has the largest influence on the child’s school adjustment. Conclusions: For elementary school students to be well adjusted to school, their stress and relationships with their parents should be managed. In particular, using the programs that can reduce stress from peers and increase parent-child intimacy will be effective in helping students adjust to school.

Objectives: A large number of teenagers are addicted to Internet games. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of leisure and family factors affecting internet game addiction among middle school boys. Methods: The data was used from 'Survey on the Online Game and Family Leisure Activities of Youth and Children in 2009' conducted by Korea Youth Policy Institute. Data were obtained from 1,681 middle school boys and analyzed by using the SPSS(version 20) program. Factors affecting game addiction were analyzed by ANOVA, Multiple Regression Analysis. Results: The results of this study revealed that the following variables have significant effects on game addition among middle school boys; psychology disorder about leisure, preference and participation disorder about leisure, father-child open communication, mother-child problem communication. Conclusions: Based on these results, we suggested leisure facility and programs to participate leisure life and activate communication with parents. Finally, limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

목적: 사하라 이남 아프리카 지역 중저소득국가 모성보건지표의 더딘 개선율은 MDG 5(모자보건향상) 미달성의 주요 원인 중 하나로 꼽힌다. 따라서 본 연구는 우간다 동부 카프초르와 구의 모성사망과 밀접 한 산후건강관리(PNC, Postnatal care)서비스 이용결정요인을 파악하는데 있다. 이를 통해 지역건강관 리자들에게 PNC 서비스 이용 개선을 위한 정책 수립 및 방안 마련에 기초자료를 제공하고, 궁극적으로는 MDG 5 지표 개선에 일조하고자 한다. 방법: 표본 집단은 카프초르와 구의 15세∼49세 여성들 중 최근 1년 내에 출산을 경험한 자들을 대상 으로 편의추출 되었다. 조사기간은 2014년 7월부터 10월까지였으며, 구조화된 설문에 총 171명이 응답 하였고, 19명의 주요 정보제공자와의 심층면담도 실시하였다. 응답자의 사회인구학적 특성 및 PNC 이용 행태를 알아보기 위해 빈도분석을 실시하였으며, 각 독립변수가 PNC 이용에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 파악 하기 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과: 응답자의 55%만이 의료시설의 PNC 서비스를 받은 것으로 나타났다. 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통 해서는 응답자의 연령과 사회적 네트워크, 인지된 건강상태, 산전관리서비스 이용이 PNC 서비스 이용에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 의료시설과의 거리, 가족의 규모는 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: PNC 서비스 이용개선을 위해서는 먼저 여성의 사회적 자본 확충 및 개선을 위한 모성보건교육인 소프 트 인프라 지원이 지자체 차원에서 실시되어야 할 것이며, 서비스 이용을 가능케 하고 접근성을 높이는 응급후송체계 구축과 같은 물리적 인프라 지원도 도입되어야할 것이다. 또한 가족계획 서비스를 제공하는 등 모성보건관리에 대한 지자체의 민감성을 높이는 것도 필요하겠다.

Objectives: This descriptive study was aimed to investigate the related factors of smartphone addiction among preschool children. Methods: The subject of study was 186 smartphone using mothers with children between 3 to 6 years old in Busan. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires from July to November, 2013 at nurseries, preschools, and cultural center. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t test, ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: 79.6% of children have ever used smartphone and mean smartphone addiction of them were 26.77 based on 60 points. The related factors of smartphone addiction among children were the children’s smartphone usage time per day (less than 0.5 hours vs 0.5-0.9 hours (p=0.004), less than 0.5 hours vs more than 1.0 hours (p<0.001), mother’s smartphone addiction (p<0.001), and perceived mother's permission level compared to other children's mothers (p=0.004), which 3 factors explained 39% of variance of smartphone addiction of children. Conclusions: Considering the related factors of smartphone addiction among preschool children, mothers should recognize the importance of the their use smartphone and attitude toward smartphone use of children, and take measure to limit children's excessive use of smartphone.

Objectives: This thesis intends to find out the extent of drinking problem which is caused by students' psychosocial stress, expected alcohol effects and problem drinker drinking as well as the influence of each factor. Methods: This study was conducted from September 1, 2014 to October 31, 2014 with the target of 466 students (66.6%), who are currently drinking, out of 700 students over the age of 16 and enrolled in 36 universities located in the whole country. This data were analyzed using the program SPSS21. Results: Age, gender, and the school district that showed significant differences in drinking problem compared to other general characteristics played the role of control variables. It was found that psychosocial stress does not affect the drinking problem. The self-reward and human-relation factors included in the expected drinking effect were revealed to influence significantly on the problem and the life and health related factors included in the reason of drinking refrain were also turned out to have significant effect on that problem. The degree of F is 15.665 and the degree of explanatory is 23.6%. Conclusions: Problem drinker in college and enhance the culture and health education policy is necessary to reduce college student drinking effects expected.

Objectives: This study is for understanding the perceived job training of the public health promotion program officials and analysis the educational needs in order to serve as the basis for the development of the future educational programs. Methods: To this end, we have developed a survey based on references and consultations with experts. We had explained the purpose and the intent of the survey to nationwide public health directors in advance and an online questionnaire was conducted for health promotion program and service providing personnel; the results from a total of 763 survey respondents were used in the final analysis. Collected data were analyzed through SPSS Win 21.0. Results: The results shows that the tasks of public health promotion personnel are 'business practices,' 'planning and evaluation related work' and so on in order of importance while the duties of service providing personnel are 'counseling,' 'education' and so on. One of the factors affecting field applications of education is 'awareness of the connection between education and career development' which accounts for 33% of explanatory power; the selected six other factors constitute 41.7%. Necessary educational contents for public officials are 'public health service planning,' 'report writing skills' and 'project evaluation methods.' On the other hand, for service providers, the contents are 'counseling methods,' 'development of educational materials,' 'monitoring health status' and so on. Conclusions: In order for trained service personnel to accord with the changed health promotion environment and the demand of local residents, Public Health Promotion officials should increase educational opportunities based on the competencies for each job, provide continuous learning opportunities and information even after the training, and finally, create a system that can link to career development.
