A new approach to indoor accessibility

The process of evaluating the accessibility to manipulation in a built environment is linked to the determination of accessibility in its overall meaning (access, move, use). This amounts to evaluate all the possible movements of an articulated structure taking into account the constraints due to the environment and the mobility device (trolley or wheelchair). It is important to ask the question: how the environment is accessible? Given these assumptions, the process of evaluating the accessibility is formulated as a problem of inverse kinematics of an articulated structure (mobility device and user) by verifying that the end effector (the hand) can reach objects in the environment taking into account the constraints related to the degree of disability and those related to the nature of the environment. The approach is demonstrated on simulated environments using the techniques of virtual reality.
Networking Mobile Devices and Computers in an Intelligent Home

This paper presents the prototype of a universal model for implementing the smart home. In this model, computers and various digital devices form a single network that operates at a high level of intelligence to provide and manage common services. The universal model includes a standard framework that will enable hardware and software vendors to develop consumer electronic (CE) devices that connect easily to the smart home network. An eHome server stores and controls data while various information technologies connect home devices and appliances to the network's PC. A set of definitions is formulated for the user interface (UI), operations and management (OM) and artificial intelligence (AI) modules. For each component, a set of tandard properties and interfaces was defined to create a seamless experience. The main contribution of this model is that it offers a possible solution to many of the hardware and software design issues in the eHome environment.

In this article some transport-layer access network deployment scenarios that show user equipment accessing the NGN are considered. The figures used to illustrate these cenarios show physical devices and indicate high-level functionality are shown. In the paper we are stating results of issue for developing: algorithms of analysis of quality and choice the most adequate activate function at neural network for smoothing of non-stationary process; algorithms of control the mistakes in the data of a non-stationary nature at formation of training subset; algorithms of adaptive training of neural networks in view of errors in structural components. The new technique and algorithm for analysis of information dynamic characteristics under their incremental characteristics, and also the general principles and rules for the adaptive control of data by non-stationary nature are developed. The general and private decisions of tasks, formulas for estimation of control optimum borders and of minimal mean square deviation are received for the control of the information at stationary, partial-stationary and non-stationary processes. Quality of Service is the subject of multiple researches in network technologies industry that’s why a group of scientists are always working out the new methods and algorithms, which provide corresponding quality of service. We will study this question from the position of routing protocols in on IP-based networks. An increasing number of emerging Internet applications require better than best effort quality of service (QoS) that is offered by the current Internet. Applications such as voice over IP, video on demand (VoD) need end-to-end QoS guarantees defined in terms of throughput, delay and loss rate. However, QoS guarantee for these services require to match optimal routing protocol. That is can significantly increase the complexity and affect the scalability of the network. This paper addresses the analysis of the backbone routing protocols. This paper focuses on relatively simple direct search methods for solving the optimization problem of minimizing a loss function L = Z (θ ) subject to the parameter vector 0 lying in some set 0.

In this paper the latest researches on YCrCb color optimization, TV images compression basing on the dynamic objects selection, algorithms of signals sources isolation and examination of mechanical influence on an optical fiber by digital holographic interferometry methods are discussed. In the new color space based on YCrCb every color has its own luminance value and there are no essential color tone changes and color distortion after the brightness editing. In the article the scientific researches of the newest effective compression method for the video information are considered. Basic advantage of this method was displayed and testing comparison of the results was showed. Method of the interframe difference could be used for the video compression within single video-scene where the video camera movements almost immobile. Also, this method could be used in addition with other methods like parameter models. The main schemas algorithms were illustrated in detail. Also the basic requirement for this method implementation and its main defect were shown up and explored with possible solving for these problems. The main data from illustrated table shows that this method has an advantage in comparison with others only when the commutated video frames has static background. That makes this method useful only in specific video-scenes. The represented method was developed as an addition to the others methods that could be used in videocodec. Also algorithms of separation of the source signals and showed the results of mathematical modeling of these algorithms are described. The prospects for utilization of modern information technology achievements in the field of digital image processing for precision measurements of phase distortions arising in communication optical fiber under external mechanical influence are discussed. The measurement method based on two exposition digital holographic interferometer is proposed. The circuit of measurements and the programming algorithm of digital image processing are described. The measurement procedure and experimental results are presented. The opportunities of measurement method for monitoring of the telecommunication equipment are discussed.
