The Sector Capacity Evaluation Considering the Controller’s Workloads

In order to further verify the relation between the controller's workloads and the sector capacity, the types of the controller’s workloads were firstly refined based on the workload model. the data collection ways were researched to get the effective weight values and improve the weight value. The statistic algorithms of aircrafts numbers entering the sector, leaving the sector, within the sector, at the waypoint, and in the route segment were secondly designed. Finally, taking Shanghai approach airspace as an example, and the example verified that the controller’s workloads and the number of aircrafts had very strong correlation using regression analysis method.

Data mining and knowledge discovery is used for discovery of hidden knowledge from large data sources. Decision trees are one of the most famous classification techniques with simple and efficient generalization technique. This paper presents a new decision tree algorithm IQ Tree for classification problem. The IQ Tree assumes using an inter quartile range conversion of attributes with C4.5 as the base algorithm for performing induction can improve all the measures such as accuracy, tree size.
An Adaptive Genetic Algorithm for Improving Dynamic Performance of PD Control Systems

The appropriate choice of crossover and mutation rates is critical to the success of genetic algorithms. Earlier researches focused on finding optimal non-dynamic crossover or mutation rates, which vary for different problems, and different stages of the genetic process in a problem. This paper proposed an ameliorate adaptive genetic algorithm where the mutation and crossover rates are adapted dynamically based on the evaluation results of the respective offspring in the next generation. Simultaneously, we combined this new algorithm with PD controllers to improve the stability of control systems. The experimental results are compared with other researchers’ approaches in this field. The PD-GA method can also significantly accelerate the system response and induce lower overshoot as well.
Time Series Similarity Method Research of UAVs Combat Situation Advantage Information

In order to solve UAVs countermeasure selection problem under the complex air combat situation, we proposed to use Time Series Similarity Method to quantitative compare the combat situation information of adjacent time and divide the game situation into “change” or “stable” situation. Firstly, the paper analyzed the variability of real-time combat situation, collected the enemy situation information over a period of time, used the advantage of the situation function to calculate the advantage of our situation and list the advantages of the overall trend information sequence. Then we proposed a Time Series Similarity method of UAVs combat situation advantage, made the curve of the situation advantage and determined the stability good or not. Made the assessment of the game battlefield environment situation accurately and then selected the most realistic combat countermeasure method that conducive to battlefield environment. At last, we took an example, two sides 1 V 1 air combat, using the method proposed in this paper for checking. The result showed that the method feasibility and effectiveness.

This paper presents the Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) combining Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) with PSO-RNN controller. The proposed hybrid technique uses Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm along with Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) which generates the optimal dc reference current. The proposed Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm finds the maximum operating point from the power curve which is based on the dc link voltage and current. The proposed hybrid technique is simulated using Matlab / simulink and the performance of the WECS is evaluated and compared with Proportional Integral (PI) and RNN methods. The errors in Power Coefficient, Tip Speed Ratio, DC link voltages and Average Power are evaluated.
A Novel Cable Identification Method based on PLC

In addition to phase identification, cable identification is also a challenging issue. Power-line communication technology is applied to identify cables of power distribution systems. Power cable circuits have only a limited ability to carry higher frequencies. Typically transformers prevent propagating the higher frequency carrier signal. The proposed method uses the limited propagation ability to identify the cable. A new cable identification system is designed and implemented. The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver with power-line communication module. Some experiments are conducted to verify the theoretical concepts. Also some simulations are done to help and understand the concepts by using Simulink simulator. It can extend the application area of power-line communication.

The most important factor within the wireless sensor network is to have effective network usage and increasing the lifetime of the individual nodes in order to operate the wireless network more efficiently. Many routing protocols have been developed for this purpose. One of these is the LEACH protocol presented by Wendi Heinzelman, which is especially well known as a simple and efficient clustering based routing protocol. However, because LEACH protocol in an irregular network results in a drop in efficiency of the total data throughput, the stability of the cluster is declined. Therefore, to increase the stability of the cluster head, this paper proposes a stochastic cluster head selection method for improving the LEACH protocol. To this end, it proposes a SH-LEACH(Stochastic Cluster Head Selection Method-LEACH) that it is combined with the HEED and LEACH protocol and the proposed algorithm is verified through the simulation.
Applying Improved Droop Control to Hybrid Microgrid Control

Hybrid microgrid consists of AC and DC grids, in which the interlinking converter is used to connect AC and DC microgrids. The droop control scheme is widely applied to hybrid microgrid control including interlinking converter because it can be used to control power in hybrid microgrid without communication. However, the existing steady-state error in conventional droop control might affect to the power quality of sensitive load. Therefore, the improved droop control scheme is proposed in this study, in which the steady-stated error is removed by using an additional PI regulator. Various simulation scenarios in term of load variations are performed in the MATLAB/Simulink environment to verify the control performance of proposed control scheme. Simulation results show that the frequency and DC voltage are controlled stably by using improved droop control scheme.
Hysteresis Modeling of Piezoelectric Actuators and Feed-Forward Compensation Algorithm Research

Piezoelectric ceramic actuators have wide application prospects in precision positioning and measurement technology, but its hysteresis characteristics cause a lot of restrictions to their applications. To solve this problem, this paper summary the hysteresis characteristic of piezoelectric ceramics, and collect the data through the experiment, analyze and research the piezoelectric ceramic hysteresis curves at different excitation signal effect, and the fitting curve is got based on the experimental data in order to establish hysteresis model of piezoelectric ceramic actuators by using of the curve fitting toolbox of MATLAB. Then the inverse model is obtained and the inverse compensation feed-forward control algorithm is proposed. The experiment results show that the piezoelectric ceramic actuators meet the basic linear relationship between the input voltage signal and the output displacement, and eliminate hysteresis nonlinear of the piezoelectric actuators.
