This research is, for the purpose of examining how intellectually-disabled students’s special exercise program have an effect on physical function, conceived to find the degree and difference of special exercise program along with the cause of change in demographical specifics and physical function. For the purpose, special exercise program is set to be independent cause of change, and the influence and effect of physical function development by applying this experiment dependent cause of change. In addition, gender and age of students, which were anticipated to have strong influence on the application of special exercise program from previous research, is fixed to be cause of change in demographical specifics. The subject of this study is intellectually disabled students. For experiment group, special exercise program is periodically applied while general exercise program based on general abilities is applied for control group. In result, special exercise program for intellectually-disabled student is, in general, discovered to help develop muscles for formal and detailed device for the function of self-sustained living and physical function. The suggested special exercise program is; henceforth, demonstrated to be a suitable program for intellectually disabled students.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the change aspect of heart rate, body temperature and oxygen saturation according to water areas in scuba diving. The subjects of this study were 12 college man with 1-2 years career. As a result of conducting two-way repeated measures ANOVA, t-test for inspecting mean difference of collected data depending on water areas and measurement time by using SPSS win 14.0 statistic program. The conclusion is as followings ; First, the heart rate at immediately after diving and in 15 minutes after diving have come higher in the open water area than in the control water area. Second, the body temperature at immediately after diving and in 15 minutes after diving have come higher in the open water area than in the control water area. Third, the oxygen saturations at immediately after diving have come higher in the open water area than in the control water area. Based on above results, it is different physiological response came out according to water conditions. Therefore, it is thought that considerate of the effective of water temperature, kind of suit and diving time, and following-up study to examine the difference in skill levels of subjects and the rate of the body composition is needed.
탄성밴드를 이용한 저강도 저항성 운동프로그램 적용이 노인의 체력요인에 미치는 효과

The purpose of this study was to present a model of exercise program for promotion of muscular strength and prevention of decreasing of muscular function, and to present the available methods for increasing the quality of life for olders. Male olders aged 65∼70 were randomly assigned to three groups: Exp 1, Exp 2, and control group. Exp 1 group performed the exercise program consisted of stretching and aerobic exercise. Exp 2 group performed the exercise program consisted of stretching and resistance exercise with elastic band. Both exercise program were applied for 9 weeks(3 times per week, 50 min. per time). Control group carried on the daily life without performing the exercise program. Chair stand, arm curl, chair sit and reach, 8 foot up and go test were measured repeatedly before experiment, and on the 3rd week, 6th week, and 9th week after experiment for all subjects. As a result, no significance was shown in control group. The abilities in chair stand, arm curl, 8 foot up and go test were significantly increased in Exp 1, and Exp 2 groups. The ability in chair sit & reach test was significantly increased in Exp 2 group. Changing rates of Exp 2 group in chair stand, and arm curl test were more increased than those of Exp 1 group. In conclusion the effective exercise program should be intervened for promoting physical fitness of olders, and the increasing of muscular strength was preceded the increasing of flexibility. Therefore it was suggested that the resistance exercise should be added to the exercise program developed for olders.
