A Study on Optimized Mapping Environment for Real-time Spatial Mapping of HoloLens

Recently, the development of the head mounted display (HMD) device has attracted a great deal of attention to the actual contents. Especially, Augmented Reality (AR), which is a mixture of actual information and virtual world information, is focused on. AR HMD is able to interact by arranging virtual objects in real space through spatial recognition using depth camera. In order to naturally mix virtual space with real space, it is necessary to develop a technology for realizing spatial mapping information with high accuracy. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the optimal configuration of augmented reality application program by realizing accurate spatial mapping information when mapping a real space and an object placement environment using HoloLens. To do this, we changed the spatial mapping information in real space to three levels, which are the number of meshes used in cubic meters to scan step by step. After that, it was compared with the 3D model obtained by changing the actual space and mesh number. Experimental result shows that the higher the number of meshes used in cubic meters, the higher the accuracy between real space and spatial mapping. This paper is expected to be applied to augmented reality application programs that require scanning of highly mapped spatial mapping information.
Study on Structural and Systematic Security Threats of Vehicle Black Box as Embedded System

Recently, more users have been using IoT embedded systems. Since the wireless network function is a basic and core function in most embedded systems, new security threats and weaknesses are expected to occur. In order to resolve these threats, it is necessary to investigate the security issues in the development stages according to the Security Development Lifecycle (SDL). This study analyzes the vulnerabilities of the embedded systems equipped with the wireless network function, and derives possible security threats and how dangerous such threats are. We present security risks including bypassing the authentication stage required for accessing to the embedded system.
A Maximum Data Allocation Rule for an Anti-forensic Data Hiding Method in NTFS Index Record

An anti-forensic data hiding method in an NTFS index record is a method designed for anti- forensics, which records data as a file name in index entries and thereafter the index entries are made to remain in the intentionally generated slack area in a 4KB-sized index record[7]. In this paper, we propose a maximum data allocation rule for an anti-forensic data hiding method in an NTFS index record; i.e., a computational method for storing optimal data to hide data in an index record of NTFS is developed and the optimal solution is obtained by applying the method. We confirm that the result of analyzing the case where the number of index entries n = 7 is the maximum case, and show the screen captures of index entries as experimental results.
A Study on SNS Applications in Broadcasting Based on Analysis on KBS’ Reaches on Facebook

According to the material about the analysis of digital consumers’ lifestyle in Korea published at the end of 2016, 100% had experienced a smartphone before, and 91% had joined in digital communications. Among digital contents, 85.5% had experienced music, and 78.6% had used TV contents before. Also, SNS utility rate equaled 83.3%, and the Facebook utility rate of those in the 10’s and 20’s exceeded 80%. It means that it is necessary to conduct research on SNS utility in broadcasts. Based on the results of operating KBS Facebook accounts, this paper aims to compare the reaches of entertainment, drama, and culture genres and analyze correlation between the reaches and ‘like’ friends on Facebook and also correlation between the reaches and ratings.To address the goal, among the Facebook mentions operated within a year, 2016, this researcher analyzed 2,526 mentions to publicize entertainment, drama, and culture genres and the results of 834 million reaches and also used the data of original broadcasts’ ratings. To analyze the data, this study employed SPSS Ver. 18.0 to perform the independent sample t-test and Pearson’s correlation analysis. The conference interval is set as 95%, and p<0.05 is regarded to be statistically significant. According to the results, more reaches are found in entertainment, drama, and culture genres in order, and it is found to have strongly positive correlation with the frequency of ‘like’s. The reaches and ratings have no correlation, and there is no statistical significance found in it. It is expected that the results of this study can be applied to publicize programs efficiently for broadcasting.

In 2013, Lee-Lie proposed secure smart card based authentication scheme of Zhu’s authentication for TMIS which is secure against the various attacks and efficient password change. In this paper, we discuss the security of Lee-Lie’s smart card-based authentication scheme, and we have shown that Lee-Lie’s authentication scheme is still insecure against the various attacks. Also, we proposed the improved scheme to overcome these security problems of Lee-Lie’s authentication scheme, even if the secret information stored in the smart card is revealed. As a result, we can see that the improved smart card based user authentication scheme for TMIS is secure against the insider attack, the password guessing attack, the user impersonation attack, the server masquerading attack, the session key generation attack and provides mutual authentication between the user and the telecare system.
A Case Study on Kakao’s Resilience : Based on Five Levers of Resilience Theory

The purpose of this study is to prove the Korean Internet company, Kakao’s resilience capacity. For it, this paper reviews the previous literatures regarding Kakao’s business models and discusses ‘resilience’ theory. Then, it organizes the research questions based on the theoretical background and explains the research methodology. It investigates the case of Kakao’s business and organization. The case analysis shows that five levers of resilience are a good indicator for a successful platform business evolution. The five levers are composed of coordination, cooperation, clout, capability, and connection: First lever, coordination that makes the company to restructure its silo governance in order to respond to actual business flow starting from the basic asset like game and music content; second lever, cooperation where the firm provides creative people with playground for startups such as KakaoPage; third lever, clout where the company shares its data by opening its API of AI and chatbot to 3rd party developers; fourth lever, capability where the firm establishes AI R&D center, KakaoBrain as the function of multi-domain generalist for developing diverse platforms tackling customer needs; and the last fifth lever, connection where the firm continues to expand its platform business to the peripheries, O2O businesses such as KakaoTaxi, KakaoOrder, KakaoPay, and KakaoBank. In conclusion, this study proposes Internet companies to be a resilient platform utilizing those five levers of resilience in order to form successful platform. This study contributes to the agile innovation of Internet platform with ecological sense.
SOPPY : A sentiment detection tool for personal online retailing

The best ‘hub’ to communicate with the citizen is using social media to marketing the business. However, there has several issued and the most common issue that face in critical is a capital issue. This issue is always highlight because most of automatic sentiment detection tool for Facebook or any other social media price is expensive and they lack of technical skills in order to control the tool. Therefore, in directly they have some obstacle to get faster product’s feedback from customers. Thus, the personal online retailing need to struggle to stay in market because they need to compete with successful online company such as G-market. Sentiment analysis also known as opinion mining. Aim of this research is develop the tool that allow user to automatic detect the sentiment comment on social media account. RAD model methodology is chosen since its have several phases could produce more activities and output. Soppy tool will be develop using Microsoft Visual. In order to generate an accurate sentiment detection, the functionality testing will be use to find the effectiveness of this Soppy tool. This proposed automated Soppy Tool would be able to provide a platform to measure the impact of the customer sentiment over the postings on their social media site. The results and findings from the impact measurement could then be use as a recommendation in the developing or reviewing to enhance the capability and the profit to their personal online retailing company.

Dynamic visual acuity is used as an important factor to measure athletic performance in sports field. A study on visual acuity testing system using non-see head mounted display (NST-HMD) was conducted recently. However, the NST-HMD has a problem that the sense of space felt by the subject differs from the actual environment. This is because the view is blocked so that it is only implemented in a virtual space. This paper proposes a dynamic visual acuity testing system using optical see through head mounted display (OST-HMD). To do this, OST-HMD and NST-HMD comparative tests were conducted using existing K-D (King-Devick) charts. Experiments were performed on 30 subjects and their visual acuity was measured and analyzed by parametric statistics and one-sample T-test. The results of the study demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed OST-HMD. This study is expected to use the visual inspection and training equipment of OST-HMD.
