Quadcopter stabilization using state feedback controller by pole placement method

Nowadays many articles describe the controlling models for four rotor flying vehicle. Basic approaches to the problem of these articles are mathematical expressions describing dynamics of the models of the vehicle and PID control for manipulating the object in 3 dimensional space. Design of control systems is usually started by careful consideration of its mathematical model description. We present a detailed mathematical model for a quad rotor. This paper first considers simulation of quadcopter control based on full state feedback technique with linearization in MATLAB environment and shows the results of the simulations. Finally will be shown experimental results of the state feedback control implemented in real model.

This paper describes a process of developing commercial real time image recognition system with company. In this paper we will make a system that is combining an empirical kernel map method and conjugate least squares support vector machine in order to represent images in a low-dimensional subspace for real time image recognition. In the traditional approach calculating these eigenspace models, known as traditional PCA method, model must capture all the images needed to build the internal representation. Updating of the existing eigenspace is only possible when all the images must be kept in order to update the eigenspace, requiring a lot of storage capability. Proposed method allows discarding the acquired images immediately after the update. By experimental results we can show that empirical kernel map has similar accuracy compare to traditional batch way eigenspace method and more efficient in memory requirement than traditional one. This experimental result shows that proposed model is suitable for commercial real time image recognition system.

In 2015, 100-car pileup was happened because the safe distance from the car in front did not be kept due to much fog at YoungJong Bridge in South Korea. This is why the road would be benumbed with cold weather in winter. For this weather condition, if the driver of the car in front changed the lane suddenly or suddenly slammed on the brake in fog or freezing area, the braking distance of the real car has to be 2 or 3 times longer than usual. In this paper, we have simulated the function that warns and notice about the fog area or the freezing one in the road using Arduino sensors and Beacon. Also we propose the intelligent traffic system to protect the accidents in winter.
Probabilistic Analysis of Code-Reuse Attacks and Defenses in IoT

In the Internet of Things (IoT), resource-limited smart devices communicate with each other while performing sensing and computation tasks. Thus, these devices can be exposed to various attacks being launched and spread through network. For instance, attacker can reuse the codes of IoT devices for malicious activity executions. In the sense that attacker can craft malicious codes by skillfully reusing codes stored in IoT devices, code-reuse attacks are generally considered to be dangerous. Although a variety of schemes have been proposed to defend against code-reuse attacks, code randomization is regarded as a representative defense technique against code-reuse attacks. Indeed, many research have been done on code randomization technique, however, there are little work on analysis of the interactions between code randomization defenses and code-reuse attacks although it is imperative problem to be explored. To provide the better understanding of these interactions in IoT, we analyze how code randomization defends against code-reuse attacks in IoT and perform simulation on it. Both analysis and simulation results show that the more frequently code randomizations occur, the less frequently code-reuse attacks succeed.
A Study on Efficient Use of Dual Data Memory Banks in Flight Control Computers

Over the past several decades, embedded system and flight control computer technologies have been evolved to meet the diverse needs of the mobile device market. Current embedded systems are at the heart of technologies that can take advantage of small-sized specialized hardware while still providing high-efficiency performance at low cost. One of these key technologies is multiple memory banks. For example, a dual memory bank can provide two times more memory bandwidth in the same memory space. This benefit take lower cost to provide the same bandwidth. However, there is still few software technologies to support the efficient use of multiple memory banks. In this study, we present a technique to efficiently exploit multiple memory banks by software support. Specifically, our technique use an interference graph to optimally allocate data to different memory banks by an optimizing compiler. As a result, the execution time can be improved upto 7% with the proposed technique.

In the rapid industrialization and civilization, the material and the life have been enriched, but smart phone and the Internet are spreading and the spirit of Korean modern people is falling into addiction without knowing themselves. In particular, according to the recent Internet addiction reported by the National Statistical Office, "the Internet addiction rate in 2014 is the highest among adolescents to 19 years old." This study empirically analyzed whether internet addiction, smart phone addiction, sports activities and reading affect adolescents' emotional intelligence and self-esteem. Regression analysis showed that internet addiction, smart phone addiction and sports activities affected emotional intelligence and reading did not affect. Also, internet addiction, smart phone addiction and sports activities were found to affect self-esteem and reading did not affect. Reading and emotional intelligence, reading and self-esteem seem to require further study in the future.

Despite the government`s various safety measures, the number of safety accidents continues to rise and the interior is more likely to occur indoors than outdoors. Safety accidents involving young children account for more than 70 % of the safety accidents in the safety accidents, and the ratio of safety accidents in the classroom or classroom is more than 50 %. In this thesis the author proposes the system managing the accidents notification service using LED lighting and access entry control. Utilizing IoT technology, remote control or access can be controlled remotely by controlling multiple lights and entrances from each room and by means of a number of lighting and entrances. By monitoring and analyzing real-time status via server PC and mobile interface, it can control the maximum control and incident prevention, automatic control, and automatic control.

LINE, an instant message App with a powerful capability of transmitting various forms of data, has been overwhelmed in Asia since launched in 2011. Due to its popularity, LINE was first used in the 2016 Taiwanese presidential election. This research utilized a functional approach of campaign communication discourse and political visual images to analyze how candidates managed and presented themselves by textual and visual information on LINE. Regarding the textual information, results revealed their strategy inclined to reverse gender stereotype because the female candidate emphasized policy over character, while the male emphasized character over policy. Both candidates did not fully employ ten image functions because they utilized mostly the emotional and image building functions. The female candidate message achieved the largest total amount of ‘like’ and ‘share’. This study probes into the App campaigning and improve the feasibility and practicability to share knowledge of political communication by new media.

Programming is very important subject in computer science and similar computer-related areas such as electronics engineering, etc. Programming is also important for information education for elementary, middle, and high school students since programming is one of the most basic subjects in computer science courses and other similar areas. In this paper, a programming ability assessment tool is developed and introduced for the no-programming experienced. It is very difficult to test programming ability for the no-programming experienced with non-programming tools or activities. In the commercial building such as huge enterprise building, more accurate operation of the center-controlled roller blind. We design, in this work, the target disc that its shape is nonlinearly changing and the sensor coils that are differentially arranged. The performance shows less than 1% accuracy when it is implemented in the roller blind.

In this work, an efficient transmit antenna selection approach for the quadrature spatial modulation (QSM) systems is proposed. The conventional Euclidean distance antenna selection (EDAS)-based schemes in QSM have too high computational complexity for practical use. The proposed antenna selection algorithm is based on approximation of the EDAS decision metric employed for QSM. The elimination of imaginary parts in the decision metric enables decoupling of the approximated decision metric, which enormously reduces the complexity. The proposed method is also evaluated via simulations in terms of symbol error rate (SER) performance and compared with the conventional EDAS methods in QSM systems.
