The purpose of this research study was to explore social support as a moderator in the relationship between depression and suicidal thought in a sample of the public officers in charge of social welfare. This study also examined the impact of depression on suicidal thought among the public officers in charge of social welfare. The samples were 287 public officers in charge of social welfare in Gyeonggi-do. The findings indicate that increased depression is associated with a high level of suicidal thought. The research results show that social support was an important resource for reducing suicidal thought of the public officers in charge of social welfare. As the perception about social support by public officers increased, their level of suicidal thought was decreased. Also, there was an evidence in favor of the moderating role that social support may serve as a protective factor against suicidal thought. Based on the results, counselors such as case manager as well as social workers should consider the importance of understanding and using social support system for suicidal thought of the public officers in charge of social welfare. Finally, these findings are discussed in terms of social work practices and social policies.

배경: 코로나19로 인해 저소득가정 아동은 일반가정 아동에 비해 상대적으로 사회적 지지를 받기 어려워 자아존중감이 하락되고 있어 아동에 대한 관심이 필요하다. 목적: 우리나라 저소득층 가정의 아동의 현재 상황을 알아보고, 코로나19 상황에서 어떠한 사회적지지가 아동의 자아존중감에 영향을 미치는지 확인하고자 한다. 방법론/접근: 인천 아동들의 자아존중감을 알아보기 위해 인천의 지역아동센터 20기관의 아동을 임의표 집 하는 방법을 사용하여 내용분석을 하였다. 설문조사는 각 기관의 협조를 받아 직접 회수와 우편 회수 하여 회수된 설문지 총 242부이다. 이 중 불성실한 2부를 뺀 나머지 240부를 분석하여 사용하였다. 소견/결론: 코로나19로 아동이 학교를 정상적으로 등원할 수 없게 되면서 교사지지를 덜 받는 것으로 나 타났다. 이는 가족지지에서 긍정적인 지지를 받지 못하는 아동의 자아존중감에도 영향을 줄 수밖에 없다. 이는 일반 아동처럼 학원이나 과외 등을 통해 학습권을 유지 받지 못하고 또래들과 만남이 차단되어 집 안에 고립되고 방치될 가능성이 있는 저소득가정의 아동들을 위해 우리 사회가 관심을 가지고 함께 풀어 가야 하는 또 다른 숙제이기도 할 것이다. 저소득가정을 대상으로 하는 지역아동센터나 청소년시설과 같은 아동들과 밀접한 시설을 보다 안전하고 쾌적하며 접근성이 좋은 시설로 만들어 주어야 할 것이다. 저소득가정의 아동들에게 보다 긍정적인 환경 을 제공하고 다양한 성인과 또래 집단을 만들어 주어 자칫 결핍으로 인한 비행이나 부정적 정서를 제거 할 수 있도록 긍정적인 사회적지지원을 만들어 주어야 할 것이다. 또한 우리 사회가 언제 어떻게 코로나 19와 같은 또 다른 부정적인 환경에 접하게 될지 모르고 이런 환경 속에서 저소득가정의 아동이 심리⋅ 사회적 문제(우울증, 자살, 대인관계의 어려움, 반사회적 성향)를 안고 성인으로 성장하게 될지 모르기에 지속적인 관심과 자아존중감 향상을 위한 다양한 프로그램 개발, 양질의 교육과 다양한 체험의 기회가 필요할 것이다. 시사점 : 아동은 가족지지에 영향을 가장 많이 받고 있으며 유의한 결과를 얻지 못한 교사지지는 코로나 19로 나타난 특수한 상황으로 저소득 가정의 아동이 다양한 사회적지지를 받지 못하고 가족지지에 의존 할 수밖에 없는 환경이 되어 있음을 시사한다.

Background: Due to COVID-19, children from low-income families are relatively difficult to receive social support compared to children from general families, resulting in a decline in self-esteem. Purpose: To find out the current situation of children from low-income families in Korea, and to determine what social support affects children's self-esteem in the COVID-19 situation. Methodology/Approach: In order to find out the self-esteem of Incheon children, content analysis was conducted using a random sampling method of children from 20 local children's centers in Incheon. The total number of questionnaires collected by direct collection and mail with the cooperation of each institution is 242. Of these, 240 copies were analyzed and used, excluding two unfaithful copies. Findings/Conclusion: It was found that children were less supported by teachers as COVID-19 prevented them from attending school normally. This inevitably affects the self-esteem of children who do not receive positive support from family support. This will also be another task that our society should pay attention to and solve together for children from low-income families who are unable to maintain their right to learn through private institutes or tutoring and are likely to be isolated and neglected at home. Facilities close to children, such as local children's centers and youth facilities for low-income families, should be made safer, more comfortable, and more accessible. It is necessary to provide a more positive environment for children from low-income families and create a variety of adults and peer groups to create positive social support so that they can eliminate delinquency or negative emotions caused by deficiency can be eliminated. In addition, we do not know when and how our society will encounter another negative environment such as COVID-19, and children from low-income families will grow into adults with psychosocial problems (depression, suicide, interpersonal difficulties, antisocial tendencies), so we need to develop various programs, quality education, and various experiences. Implications: Children are most affected by family support, and teacher support, which does not have significant results, is a special situation indicated by COVID-19, suggesting that children from low-income families have no choice but to rely on family support.

In recent years, the number of university graduates has increased steadily. Therefore, the competition for graduate jobs in various industries has been more and more fierce. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, there has been an increase in the number of studies analyzing the impact of the epidemic on student employment. Prior to this outbreak, researchers had already investigated the impact of previous public crises like the SARS epidemic and the financial crisis on student employment. According to certain researchers, the epidemic has augmented employment conflicts in China and worsened the unemployment issue. Furthermore, the rapid development of artificial intelligence and digital transformation has brought about new challenges for university students in terms of employment. This technological revolution has led to a reduction in certain traditional professions while also creating new employment opportunities. However, these opportunities often require distinct skills and knowledge. As a result, university students must continuously adapt to this rapidly changing job market, thereby increasing their employment pressure. This study conducted a questionnaire survey in August 2023 on college students from various regions, with 302 valid questionnaires gathered to validate the research objectives. SPSS 24.0 statistical software has been used to analyze the questionnaire survey results. The following results were obtained: First, Social support has a positive effect on career decision-making self-efficacy and a negative effect on employment stress. Second, Career decision-making self-efficacy has a negative effect on employment stress. However, career decision self-efficacy does not mediate the relationship between social support and employment stress. The primary objective of this paper is to mitigate the employment pressure faced by university students. To achieve this goal, it is advocated that society, educational institutions, and relevant stakeholders intensify their efforts in providing encouragement and support to university students in the post-COVID-19 era. This, in effect, is anticipated to augment the internal state of career decision-making self-efficacy among students, thereby contributing to the alleviation of employment-related stress.

대략적으로 20% 대학생들은 우울증에 의해 대학생활과 삶의 질에 부정적인 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 지지와 자아탄력성은 우울증 감소에 중요한 요인으로 간주되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 학생들의 자아탄력성이 사회적 지지와 우울 사이에서 매개효과를 나타내는 지 검증하고자 한 것이다. 경기도에 거주하는 있는 211명의 대학생들을 대상으로 구조화 된 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대학생들의 사회적 지지가 높아질수록 우울이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 자아탄력성이 높아질수록 우울이낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통하여 자아탄력성은 사회적 지지와 우울 사이에 매개효과가 유의미하는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로, 본 연구의 토대로 우울증이 높은 대학생들을 위한 사회복지 임상적 함의를제시하였다.

Approximately 20 % of college students have clinically relevant depression which may affect academic success and quality of life. Social support and resilience were considered to be the two significant factors for depression. The theme of this research study was the impact of social support and the resilience of depression among college students. This study also aimed to explore resilience as a mediator in the relationship between social support and depression of college students. The samples were 221 college students in Gyeonggi-do. The findings indicated that increased social support was associated with a low level of depression. The research results showed that there was a significant relationship between resilience and depression. Also, there was evidence that was in favor of the mediator role of resilience between social support and depression. The implications of clinical practices for college students who have high levels of depression will be discussed.

The Impacts of Social Support and Psychological Factors on Guild Members’ Flow and Loyalty in MMORPG KCI 등재

We investigated what factors motivate gamers to participate in a guild and why they continue to be engaged as members of the guild. We find that, based on the result of focus group interviews with MMORPG gamers, social support and self-esteem factors play important roles. Considering both prior research and the focus group interviews we have conducted, we define social support and character control as in-dependent variables. Character identity, guild identity, and self-esteem are proposed as mediating variables while guild flow and game loyalty as dependent variables. Accordingly, we develop the research model and hypotheses, and verify them empirically.Based on our experiences of playing the WoW game, we proposed a research model and conducted focus-group interviews (FGIs). FGIs involve formulating a hypothesis and then collecting some relevant data. FGIs were conducted face-to-face with students of C University in Korea. We formulated structured interview schedules, and the questions were based on our research variables and personal experiences. The questions for the interviews encompassed the following areas: (a) the demographic characteristics of the focus group; (b) the number of years for which respondents had played online games; (c) the motive for starting a game; (d) the number of game-characters assumed by each gamer; (e) the type of game played; and (f) other issues such as the reasons for involvement in the play, the willingness to reuse the game in case new versions were released, etc. On average, it took two hours to interview each of three groups. A primary set of FGIs was conducted with three groups on the premise that there would be some differences caused by character race (Horde vs. Alliance) or by playable server (Normal vs. Combat). With respect to the manner of playing, we found that guild members shared information, felt a sense of belonging, and played computer games for quite a long time through the guild; however, they did not undergo these experiences when playing alone. Gamers who belonged to a specific guild helped other players without expecting compensation for that, freely shared information about the game, gave away items for free, and more generous with other members who made mistakes. The guild members were aware of the existence other members and experi-enced a sense of belonging through interactions with, and evaluations from, other players. It was clear that social support was shown within the guild and that it played an important role as a major research variable. Based on the results of the first FGIs, a second set of in-depth FGIs was carried out with a focus on the psychology of the individual within the guild and the social community of the guild. The second set of FGIs also focused on the guild’s offline meetings. Gamers, over all, recognize the necessity of joining a community, not only off-line but also online world of the guild. They admit that the guild is important for them to easily and conveniently enjoy playing online computer games. The active behavior and positive attitudes of existing guild members can motivate new members of the guild to adapt themselves to the guild environment. They then adopt the same behaviors and attitudes of established guild members. In this manner, the new members of the guild strengthen the bonds with other gamers while feeling a sense of belonging, and developing social identity, thereby. It was discovered that the interaction among guild members and the social support encouraged new gamers to quickly develop a sense of social identity and increase their self-esteem. The guild seemed to play the role of socializing gamers. Sometimes, even in the real world, the guild members helped one another; therefore, the features of the guild also spilled over to the offline environment. We intend to use self-esteem, which was found through the second set of FGIs, as an important research variable.To collect data, an online survey was designed with a questionnaire to be completed by WoW gamers, who belong to a guild. The survey was registered on the best three domestic game-sites: ‘WoW playforum,’ ‘WoW gamemeca,’ and ‘Wow invent.’ The selected items to be measured in the questionnaire were decided based on prior research and data from FGIs. To verify the content of the questionnaire, we carried out a pilot test with the same participants to point out ambiguous questions as a way to ensure maximum accuracy of the survey result. A total of 244 responses were analyzed from the 250 completed questionnaires. The SEM analysis was used to test goodness-of-fit of the model. As a result, we found important results as follows: First, according to the statistics, social support had statisti-cally significant impacts on character control, character identity, guild identity and self-esteem. Second, char-acter control had significant effects on character identity, guild identity and self-esteem. Third, character identity shows its clear impact on self-esteem and game loyalty. Fourth, guild identity affected self-esteem, guild flow and game loyalty. Fifth, self-esteem had a positive influence on the guild flow. These days, the number of virtual community is rising along with its significance largely because of the nature of the online games. Accordingly, this study is designed to clarify the psychological relationship between gamers within the guild that has been generally established by gamers to play online games together. This study focuses on the relationships in which social support influences guild flow or game loyalty through character control, character identity, guild identity, and self-esteem, which are present within a guild in the MMORPG game environment. The study results are as follows. First, the effects of social support on character control, character identity, guild identity and self-esteem are proven to be statistically significant. It was found that character control improves character identity, guild identity and self-esteem. Among the seven variables, social support, which is derived from FGIs, plays an important role in this study. With the active support of other guild members, gamers can improve their ability to develop good characters and to control them. Second, character identity has a positive effect on self-esteem and game loyalty, while guild identity has a significant effect on self-esteem, guild flow and game loyalty. Self-esteem affects guild flow. It was found that the higher the character and guild identities become, the greater the self-esteem is established. Contrary to the findings of prior research, our study results indicate that the relationship between character identity and guild flow is not significant. Rather, it was found that character identity directly affects game players’ loyalty. Even though the character identity had no direct effect on increasing guild flow, it has indirectly affected guild flow through self-esteem. The significant relationship between self-esteem and guild flow in-dicates that gamers achieve flow, i.e., a feeling of pleasure and excitement through social support.Several important implications of this study should be noted. First, both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to conduct this study. Through FGIs, it was observed that both social support and self-esteem are important variables. Second, because guilds had been rarely studied, this research is expected to play an important role in the online community. Third, according to the result, six hypotheses (H1, H5, H6, H7, H8, and H11) setup based on FGIs, were statistically significant; thus, we can suggest the corresponding relationships among the variables as a guideline for follow-up research. Our research is significant as it has following implications: first, the social support of the guild members is important when establishing character control, character identity, guildidentity and self-esteem. It is also a major variable that affects guild flow and game loyalty. Second, character control when improved by social support shows notable influence on the development of character identity, guild identity and self-esteem. Third, character identity and guild identity are major factors to help establish gamers' own self-esteem. Fourth, character identity affects guild flow through self-esteem and game loyalty. The gamers usually express them-selves through characters; the higher character identity is, the more loyalty a gamer has. Fifth, guild identity, established within the guild, has clear effects on self-esteem, guild flow and game loyalty. Sixth, qualitative and quantitative methods are employed to conduct this study. Based on the results of focus group interviews and SEM analysis, we find that the social support by guild members and psychological factors are significant in strengthening the flow of guild and loyalty to the game. As such, game developers should provide some extra functions for guild community, through which gamers can play online games in collaboration with one another. Also, we suggest that positive self-esteem which is built up though social support can help gamers achieve higher level of flow and satisfaction, which will consequently contribute to minimizing the possibility for the players to develop negative attitude toward the guild they belong to.

본 연구의 목적은 요양보호사의 직업만족도와 사회적 지지가 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 연구하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 2017년 10월부터 2018년 2월까지 요양보호사 373명을 대상으로 수집한 설문자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 통계는 티 검증과 변량분석, 다중회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 직업만족 수준이 높을 경우, 수퍼바이저의 사회적지지 수준이 높을수록 이직의도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 대학을 졸업하고 6개월 미만의 요양보호사 일수록 이직의도가 낮은 것으로 조사 되었다. 그리고 재직기간, 직업만족, 수퍼 바이저의 사회적 지지는 요양보호사의 이직의도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이 연구결과를 통하여 사회복지 실천적 및 정책적 함의에 대한 제언을 하였다.

The Purpose of this research study is to find the impact of job satisfaction and social support on overturn intention among long-term care workers. For this purpose, the sample was comprised of 373 long-term care workers from October 1 st in 2017 to February in 2017. T-test and Anova, and multiple regression were used to analysis the data. This research study indicated that long-term care workers who were a high level of job satisfaction and social support from supervisor had a high mean score on turnover intention. Participants who finished university and who worked less six than months had a high mean score in turnover intentions than others. Also, working year, job satisfaction, and supervisor’s social support were significant predictors for overturn intention among long-term care workers. Based on this research result, the implications of social work practice and social policy are discussed..

Considerable agreement exists about the importance of promoting entrepreneurship in both developed and developing countries. In less developed countries, governments see entrepreneurship as a way to stimulate economic development and tackle serious economic and social challenges. So how can countries encourage young people to become entrepreneurs? Research confirms that intentions play an important role in the decision to start a new firm and many factors influence that intentions. The purpose of the study was to investigate the antecedents to entrepreneurship behavior with particular attention to moderating role of social support and entrepreneur self-efficacy. The study covered 116 business students of undergraduate and post graduate level studying under different universities in Kathmandu, Nepal. The questionnaire for data collection was distributed in college groups via WhatsApp and viber with the support and permission from the college administration. The study design used was correlational with a sampling procedure of convenience. The study only showed the impact of attitude to entrepreneurship behavior as well as moderating effect of social support was also observed.

본 연구는 독거노인들의 일상생활 수행능력, 사회적지지, 외로움 및 노인차별이 우울에 어떤 영향을 주는지 검증하고자 하였다. 편의표본 추출을 사용하여 306명의 독거노인 대상으로 사회적지지, 한국형 일상생활수행능력, UCLA 외로움, 폴모아 노인차별척도를 사용하여 측정하였다. 연구의 통계처리는 독립T-검증, 변량분석, 상관관계, 다중회귀기법을 사용하였다. 연구결과 우울은 노인차별과 외로움 수준이 높을수록 우울이 높아지는 것으로 확인 되었다. 일상생활 수행능력과 사회적지지 수준이 높을수록 우울 수준이 낮아지는 것으로 확인되었다. 다중회귀통 계 처리 결과에 의하면 일상생활 수행능력, 사회적지지, 외로움은 독거노인의 우울에 주요 영향요인임을 확인하였 다. 연구결과를 토대로 사회복지 실천적 및 정책적 함의를 제시하였다. 사회복지사와 사례관리자를 위한 사회복지 실천적 함의를 제공하였다.

The study purpose was to test the impact of activity daily living, social support, loneliness, and ageism on depression among elders living alone. Data were collected by 306 elderly people over 65 years old using a convenience sampling method and completed the questionnaires of MSSPS, K-ADL(Korean Activities of Daily Living), the UCLA Loneliness, and Palmore Ageism Scale. Survey data were collected and analyzed using T-test, Annova, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. The research study findings indicated that increased loneliness and ageism were associated with a high level of depression. Depression decreases with high level of activity daily living and strong social support. Multiple regression showed that activity daily living, social support and loneliness were significant predictors for depression of elderly living alone. The findings of this study will provide implications of social work practices and social policy. Recommendations to guide health professionals such as social workers and case managers in their work with elderly living alone were made.

본 연구는 SNS인 인스타그램이 사회적 지지 매체로 기능하는지 알아보기 위해 상호 작용적 기제 이용을 통한 행동적 측면과 가족, 오프라인 친구, 온라인 친구의 관계적 측 면을 적용하여 사회적 지지를 인지하는 과정을 분석하였다. 좋아요, 댓글, 공유, 아이디 태그와 같은 상호작용적 기제를 통해 사회적 지지를 제공하고 있는 이용자가 자신도 사 회적 지지를 받고 있다고 인지하는지를 측정했고, 이 두 경험의 매개변인으로 상호작용 적 기제 수신 만족감을 탐구하였다. 또한 강한 연결의 가족과 오프라인 친구, 약한 연결 의 온라인 친구의 관계에 따른 차별성을 검토하였다. 이를 위해 인스타그램의 주요 이용 자인 20대에서 40대까지의 767명을 표집하여 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 지지적 행 동을 많이 할수록 상호작용적 기제 수신 만족감을 경험하고, 수신 만족감은 사회적 지지 를 인지하는 데 기여하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 지지적 행동이 인지된 사회적 지지에 미치는 영향은 인스타그램 이용자의 관계에 따라 달리 나타났다. 오프라인 친구에게 제 공한 지지는 정서적 지지에 정(+)의 영향을, 온라인 친구에게 제공한 지지는 정보적 지 지에 정(+)의 영향을, 가족에게 제공한 지지는 정서적 지지에 부(-)의 영향을 나타냈다. 그러나 제공한 지지와 모든 인지된 사회적 지지 사이에 수신 만족감이 매개효과를 발휘하여 유의미한 정(+)의 간접효과를 나타냈다. 이러한 결과는 지지적 행동의 단순한 수 행만으로는 사회적 지지 경험을 완전히 설명할 수 없음을 나타낸다. 결국, 사회적 지지 를 경험하기 위해서는 상호작용 대상의 피드백과 이에 대한 만족감이 핵심적인 역할을 한다는 것을 시사한다. 이에 본 연구는 상호작용적 미디어 맥락에서 이용자가 상호작용 적 기제를 통해 사회적 지지를 인지하는 실질적인 과정을 이해하는 데 기여한다.

This study examines whether Instagram, the most popular SNS in South Korea, functions as a medium for social support by analyzing the cognitive process underlying the perception of social support. Specifically, it applies both behavioral aspects, based on the use of interactive features, and relational aspects involving family, offline friends, and online friends. It explored the relationship between provided support through interactive features such as likes, comments, shares, and tags, perceived social support, and satisfaction with receiving interactive features. Based on the media multiplexity, the study examined the differences in the relationships according to strong ties(family and offline friends) and weak ties(online friends). To achieve the research objectives, a sample of 767 users aged 20s to 40s, Instagram’s main user demographic, was utilized. The results revealed that the more supportive behaviors were performed, the higher the satisfaction with receiving interactive features, and this satisfaction contributed to perceiving social support. However, the effect of supportive behaviors on perceived social support varied depending on the relationship with Instagram users. Support provided to offline friends positively influenced emotional support, support to online friends positively influenced informational support, and support to family negatively influenced emotional support. However, satisfaction with receiving support mediated these relationships and produced significant positive indirect effects across all types of social relationships. These findings suggest that performing supportive behaviors alone does not fully explain the experience of social support; rather the feedback and satisfaction derived from interaction with others play a crucial role. These results contribute to understanding the actual mechanisms of giving and receiving social support through interactions in an interactive media context. By discussing the patterns of social support experienced through both strong and weak ties in the SNS environment, this study extends related research beyond traditional contexts.

본 연구는 노인의 우울과 사회적 지지가 자살생각에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지와 우울 과 자살생각간의 관계에서의 사회적 지지의 완충효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구대 상은 경기도에 거주하는 노인이며 설문조사를 통하여 확보된 208명을 최종 분석하였 다. 자료분석은 다중회귀분석을 수행하여 사회적 지지의 조절 효과를 검증하였다. 연 구 결과, 첫째, 노인의 우울 수준이 높아질수록 자살생각의 수준이 높아지는 것으로 나 타났다. 둘째, 사회적 지지는 자살생각과의 부적 관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 끝으 로, 사회적 지지는 우울이 자살생각에 미치는 영향에서 완충효과가 있는 것으로 확인 되었다. 이와같은 연구결과를 바탕으로, 노인의 자살생각을 경감하기 위하여 몇가지 논의와 함의를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of depression and social support on suicidal ideation among elderly people. In addition, this study examined the moderating role of social support in the relationship between depression and suicidal ideation. The 208 elderly people were drawn from several cities in Gyeonggi-do. For data analysis, a multiple regression analysis was performed to verify a moderating effect of social support. First of all, the results of the study confirmed that a higher level of depression was associated with a higher level of sucidial ideation among elderly people. secondly, social supprt had a negative relationship with suicidal ideation. Finally, social support had the moderating effect in the relationship between depression and suicidal ideation. Based on these findings, several discussions and implications were provided to reduce sucidial ideation among elderly people.

본 연구에서는 팬데믹 상황(COVID-19)에서 일반인이 경험하는 불안, 사회적 지지, 신뢰 간의 관계가 어떠한지 를 살펴보고, 사회적 지지와 불안의 관계에서 신뢰가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인하였다. 첫째, 각 변인들 간 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시한 결과, 사회적 지지와 불안은 부적 상관관계를 보였고, 사회적 지지는 사회신뢰와 정적 상관을 보였으나, 정부신뢰와는 유의미한 상관을 보이지 않았다. 또한 정부신뢰와 사회신뢰 모두 불안과 부적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 사회적 지지가 사회신뢰를 통해 불안에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설을 검증하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 사회적 지지와 불안 간의 관계를 사회신뢰가 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 논의 및 제안 점을 제시하였다.

In this study, we looked at the relationship among the anxiety, social support and trust experienced by the general public during the pandemic situation (COVID-19), and confirmed the effect of trust to the relationship between social support and anxiety. First, the correlations analysis that was performed to identify the relationship among the variables showed negative correlation between social support and anxiety. While it was also found that social support showed positive correlations with social trust, no significant correlations were shown with regards to government trust. Furthermore, government trust and social trust showed negative correlations with anxiety. Second, the regression analysis was conducted to verify the hypothesis that social support would affect anxiety through social trust. It showed that social trust partly mediated in the relationship between social support and anxiety. Based on the results above, the discussions and suggestions were presented throughout the study.

The study is aimed at looking into the difference and the relationship among social support, career preparation behavior, social exclusion and depression by classifying youths dropout of school by types. First, among youths who were to be surveyed, it was found that a type of maintaining study was 49.3%, a type of employment 24.1%, NEET 14.5% and a type of career exploration 12.2%. Second, in case of social support, it was found that a type of career preparation relatively had higher social support compared to a type of employment and NEET type, and a type of maintaining study had more career preparation behavior than NEET type and a type of career exploration had more career preparation behavior than NEET type. In overall social exclusion, a type of career exploration was found to have the lowest social exclusion that was subjectively perceived, and in case of depression, NEET type was found to be relatively higher than a type of career exploration. Third, in case of youths with a type of maintaining study, while career preparation behavior was also found to be higher as social support got higher, social exclusion (social relation, economy, education and regional facilities exclusion) and depression was found to be decreased. Besides, it was found that depression was higher as social exclusion (social relation, economy, education, regional environment, regional facilities and exclusion of social participation) got higher. In case of youths with a type of employment, depression was lowered and exclusion of social relation was also lowered as social support got higher. On the other hand, it was found that social relation, economic exclusion, exclusion of regional facilities were also high as depression got higher. In case of youths with a type of career exploration, while career preparation behavior was found to be higher as social support got higher, it was found that the overall social relation, economy, regional facilities, social participation and social exclusion got higher as depression got higher. In case of youths with NEET type, social support didn’t show meaningful interrelation with career preparation behavior but it was found that depression and social exclusion had meaningful relationship.

Objectives: This study investigated how social isolation and social support influence emotional problems among multicultural adolescents, focusing on the mediating roles of bicultural experience and self-esteem. Methods: Using data from the 5th wave of the MAPS 2nd cohort, analyses were conducted using the SPSS and AMOS. Structural equation modeling was used to examined the direct and indirect relationships between social isolation, social support, bicultural experience, self-esteem, and emotional problems. Results: Social isolation positively affected bicultural experience and negatively affected self-esteem, whereas social support positively influenced both. Self-esteem had a significant negative effect on emotional problems, and served as a protective factor. Bicultural experiences also indirectly influenced emotional problems through self-esteem. Conclusions: These findings highlight the importance of social and psychological resources in reducing emotional difficulties and provide evidence for the development of targeted support programs for multicultural adolescents.

본 연구는 간호사의 사회적 고립감과 우울의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 규명하고자 하였다. 연구 의 대상자는 3개 코로나 전담병원에서 근무하는 간호사 135명이었다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0을 이용하여 기술통계, 상관관계 및 매개 분석하였다. 매개효과는 PROCESS macro for SPSS 4.0 프로그램을 사용하 여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 사회적 고립감은 사회적 지지(β=-.62, p <.001)와 우울(β=.49, p <.001), 사회적 지지는 우울(β=-.19, p =.028)에 직접적인 영향을 나타냈다. 사회적 고립감과 우울의 관계에서 사회적 지지는 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다((indirect effect=.12, 95% CI=0.02~0.29). 그러므로 간호사의 우울을 경감시키기 위해서는 사회적 고립을 감소시키는 중재가 요구되고, 사회적 고립감을 지각하는 간호사의 우울을 완화하기 위해 적절한 개 입을 고안할 때 사회적 지지를 강화하는 전략을 개발할 필요가 있다.

This study aimed to identify the mediating effect of social support on the relationship between social isolation and depression in nurses. This study was conducted with 135 registered nurses in three COVID-19 specialized hospitals. Data were analyzed with IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 and using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and mediation analysis. The mediating effect was analyzed using PROCESS macro for SPSS 4.0 program with bootstrapping method. Social isolation directly influenced social support (β=-.62, p <.001) and depression (β=.49, p <.001). Social support directly influenced depression (β=-.19, p =.028). Social support has a mediating effect between social isolation and depression (indirect effect=.12, 95% CI=0.02~0.29). To managed depression, intervention are needed to reduce social isolation. Therefore, it is necessary to develop strategies that enhance social support to relieve depression in nurses perceived social isolation.

본 연구는 노인복지실천현장 사회복지사들의 클라이언트 폭력경험이 스트레스에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석한 연구이다. 분석 자료는 전북지역의 노인복지관과 노인요양원 58곳에 근무하고 있는 사회복지사들로부터 수집된 137부이다. 연구결과 노인복지실천현장 사회복지사들은 클라이언트로부터 다양한 폭력을 경험하고 있었다. 특히 사회복지사들은 언어폭력을 가장 많이 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 연구대상자의 70.8%가 높은 수준 이상의 스트레스를 경험하고 있었다. 또한 클라이언트 언어폭력경험과 스트레스 관계에서 사회적 지지가 완충효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구가 가지는 함의로는 노인복지실천현장 사회복지사들의 클라이언트 폭력 경험을 통해 스트레스를 규명한 실증자료로서 의미가 있으며, 노인복지실천현장 사회복지사들의 스트레스에 영향을 주는 요인으로서 클라이언트 폭력 경험, 사회적 지지의 인과관계를 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이를 바탕으로 노인복지실천현장에서의 클라이언트 폭력 위험에 대한 위기개입실천에 대한 관심의 필요성을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate moderating effects of social support between client violence experience and stress among elderly social workers. Data were collected from 137 social workers who were working at 58 community elderly centers and nursing homes. Results for the elderly practice field social workers had experienced violence from clients. Namely showed that social workers and most experienced verbal abuse, 70.8% of study subjects were experiencing high levels of stress over. Also it appeared to have a buffering effect of social support on the client experience verbal abuse and relationship stress. This study as having implications for the elderly practice field social workers and is meant as an empirical data to investigate the stress over the client experience of violence, as a factor influencing the stress of client violence experienced workers, social support. Based on this, suggestions were the need to focus on crisis intervention practice for clients violence risk in the elderly practice field.

본 연구에서는 아이돌봄지원사업 종사자의 직무만족을 높여 돌봄 서비스의 질적 향상을 도모하고자 직무 만족에 미치는 요인을 파악하고, 아이돌봄지원사업 정책 및 실천을 위한 개선방안의 기초자료를 제공하는 것에 연구 목적을 두었으며, 세종시에 근무하는 아이돌봄지원사업 종사자인 아이돌보미를 대상으로 설문조 사를 실시하여 258부를 최종 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 29.0을 사용하여, 빈도분석, 기술 통계분석, 독립표본 t-검정, ANOVA, 상관관계분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 자기효능감과 사회적 지지는 직무만족에 유의미한 결과를 나타내었다. 특히, 자기효능감의 과제난이도 선호, 가족지지가 높을수록 개인 교수법 개발을 위해 더 노력하며, 사회적지지는 양성 전형입사자, 급여가 높을수록, 상사지지(서비스 제공기관 연계 담당자) 및 동료지지 및 가족지지가 많을수록 직무만족이 높지만, 최종학력이 높을수록 직무 만족은 낮았다. 아이돌봄지원사업 종사자인 아이돌보미의 자기효능감과 사회적지지가 직무만족에 실질적인 요인들을 밝혀 보고자 하였다는 데 본 연구의 의의가 있으며, 그 결과를 토대로 아이돌봄지원사업 종사자의 직무만족 제고를 위한 실천 방안과 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine effects of self-efficacy and social support on job satisfaction of babysitters as child care support project workers. How to increase job satisfaction of these child care support project workers is also proposed. For the purpose of this study, questionnaires were distributed to 310 babysitters at childcare service providers in Sejong City, Korea. A total of 258 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 statistical program through frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. It was found that the higher the preference for task difficulty in self-efficacy and the higher the family support, the more efforts they made to develop individual teaching methods. In social support (total), job satisfaction was higher among those who entered the institution through training course, received higher salary, and received higher support from seniors (person in charge in connection with service providers), colleague, and family. However, the lower the final education, the lower the job satisfaction. As for effects of job satisfaction sub-factors on interpersonal relationships, those who were older with higher sense of self-regulation, higher support from superiors, peers, and family seemed to have higher satisfaction with interpersonal relationship. Regarding overall job, those who had higher level of supports from superiors and peers with higher salary had more positive attitude toward the overall job. Those living in Dong who had higher education background were not satisfied with the job. Regarding salary and welfare benefits, the higher the level of salary and the more family support, the more satisfied they were. However, the higher the final level of education, the less satisfied they were. Difficulty was also expressed in the preference for task difficulty for self-efficacy. As for the development of individual teaching methods, it seemed that the more children they took care of, the more difficult it seemed to develop childcare teaching methods. This paper recognizes the importance of job satisfaction to improve the quality of public care services provided by babysitters, seeks ways to overcome difficulties through self-efficacy enhancement and social support, and tries to provide basic data for policies and practice methods that can increase job satisfaction.

The purpose of this was to prove the relationships among formation of social capital, social support and sports socialization of life sports club members. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire in which Formation of social capital scale as translated by Jo(2009), Social support scale as translated by Park(1985), Sports socialization scale as translated by Lee(1971). 300 subjects were selected from the participants whom in sports for all in the seoul, gyungki, by the stratified cluster sampling method. Among these selected subjects, 283 responded, and data analyses consisted of employing frequency analysis, factor analysis, multiple correlation using SPSS/PC+ version 15.0 and AMOS 7.0. The following results were obtained: 1. It was found that formation of social capital of life sports club members has an influence on social support. 2. It was found that formation of social capital of life sports club members has an influence on sports socialization. 3. It was found that social support of life sports club members has an influence on sports socialization.
