In this paper a novel unsupervised classification method for electrocardiogram (ECG) signal classification is presented. The proposed approach classifies the input signal into normal and abnormal heartbeat patterns with a relatively high accuracy. After extracting features from the time-voltage waves in ECG signals, we utilize a computationally fast algorithm based on log likelihood strategy for change detection on selected features. We then combine the outputs based on their validation coefficient. The Algorithm could differentiate between the normal and unknown heart features. Experimental results show the accuracy of the proposed approach in terms of reliability and performance.

The lack of management on paper currency sorters and low work efficiency in paper currency sorting process make the low level of automation and information in current Chinese bank branch’s currency counting and sorting system. To solve this problem, a new process management system was designed for paper currency sorters by the integrated use of sensor technology, serial communication technology, image recognition technology and information technology. The system consists of paper currency automatic sorting subsystem and management and control subsystem, and realizes functions such as sorter work data display, storage and analysis as well as management and control of paper currency sorters, through real-time data acquisition from multiple paper currency sorters. After systematic testing, this system has been successfully applied to practical work. The results show that this system is stable with good performance and high scalability.

As the wide use of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, such wireless sensor network has created enormous data in supply chain management, manufacturing sites, retailor sections, as well as health care domain. In order to discovery the invaluable information and knowledge from such massive RFID data, this paper introduces a data mining approach based on graphic theory to pick out the useful information and knowledge from logistics RFID data. This approach considers the complex relationship of different RFID data and uses graphic model to build up the logistics path. That means the logistics information stored in RFID data is converted by graphic diagram, which could be mined by the proposed approach over OLAP. The inquiry efficiency has been greatly improved through experimental results.

This paper introduces a single sensor interpolation method for a different color assigned single sensor color camera. The presented method especially describes the performance among three different color combinations, such as RRGB, RGGB, and RGGB. The Bayer pattern has been widely used, and nowadays the research on X-Trans pattern is well studied. The proposed method substitutes the dominant color to the other color of two, and evaluates the performance. In any case, the three color potion is one of three, 2:1:1, 1:2:1, or 1:1:2. Simulation results display the MSE and PSNR results and the obtained images.

In the grinding process, grinding fluid is delivered for the purposes of chip flushing, cooling, lubrication and chemical protection of work surface. Lubrication and cooling are the most important roles provided by a grinding fluid. Hence, the conventional method of flood delivering coolant fluid by a nozzle achieves high process performance. However, the flow velocity field can be generated ahead of the grinding zone due to the wedge effect between wheel peripheral surface and workpiece surface. According to Navier-Stokes equation and equation of continuity for fluid flow, the mathematical model of the velocity field in the wheel/workpiece wedge-shaped zone was established and simulated. Findings presented that the flow velocity increased as the velocity of the grinding wheel increased. At the direction of wheel width, the distribution patterns of the flow velocity were the same, expect the rising at the verge of the wheel. In addition, the experiment research on the velocity field in the wheel/workpiece wedge-shaped zone was also conducted. Findings demonstrated that the established model was consistent with the experimental results and the theoretical model effectively protected the distribution of the velocity field in the prediction contact zone.

This paper discusses the performance curves analysis based on stochastic network calculus under the diversified requirements from different applications in network. Such requirements need different quality of service (QoS), one of which is performance curve analysis. This paper proposes a theory model to investigate the performance curves in SNC. This model integrates the probability calculation into performance analysis model so as to present and analyze the statistical reuse characteristic of data stream over the Internet. The QoS model combines the above two analysis curves without using the min-plus algebra in order to avoid the noncooperation caused by Prb-MinPlus. Several innovations are included in this model. Firstly, the arrival curve indicates the stochastic data steam in the network by integrating the probability functions. Thus, the data stream is able to reflect the current situation in a network. Secondly, the model proposed in this paper integrates arrival curve and service curve to build up the model. As a result, the performance analysis could be carried out more precise. Thirdly, the proposed model has been compared with Jiang-SNC in terms of probability upper boundary and overall performance. It is observed that, the proposed model outperforms Jiang-SNC in QoS and can avoid the problem of Prb-MinPlus.

Recent advances in large systems (e.g., service-oriented architecture) utilize the notion of choreography, in which there is no central control of the system. Such a task requires first developing a conceptual model to serve as a foundation for specification of choreography-based activities. The European project CHOReOS has built a UML profile for Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) choreography-modeling capabilities. This paper is concerned with the diagrammatic tools used in the “integrated development process” as exemplified in a passenger-friendly airport model provided to highlight CHOReOS innovation. In this paper an alternative model is proposed as a conceptual base for this development methodology. The UML/BPMN description is reconstructed in terms of the proposed model to facilitate a side-by-side comparison of the two renditions of the same problem. The conclusion is that the proposed alternative approach presents a viable technique for developing a foundation that captures the relevant processes and relationships in systems. In general, the passenger-friendly airport furnishes a sample study case to show that the new diagrammatic method can be applied to high-level requirements specification in any similar development scheme.

In order to solve the loading capacity of the hydrostatic thrust bearing, a numerical simulation concerning dynamic pressure of multi-pad hydrostatic thrust bearing under the different recess depth and rotating velocity is been described. Three-dimensional dynamic pressure field of gap fluid between the rotational worktable and the base has been simulated by using the Computational Fluid Dynamics. This study theoretically researches the influence of recess depth and rotating velocity on dynamic pressure of the bearing according to the lubricating theory and Finite Volume Method, and the simulation results indicate that an improved characteristic will be affected by recess depth and rotating velocity easily. Through this method, the optimal loading capacity of such products can be achieved.
