Purpose : This study was conducted to measure the knowledge, attitude, and practice on occupational safety & health and the analysis factors influencing them among vocational teachers working in vocational high schools in Seoul. Methods : The survey responses of 143 participants were used for the final estimate. The questionnaire consisted of questions about general and occupational characteristics as well as knowledge, attitude, and practices on occupational safety & health. Results : Factor influencing occupational safety & health knowledge was the attendance occupational safety & health seminar, Factors influencing occupational safety & health attitude were the work experience in the vocational high school and having regular breakfast meals. Factors influencing occupational safety & health practices were the attendance occupational safety & health seminar, the higher knowledge and attitude scores and female. Conclusions : Providing multiple opportunities to attend various seminars and developing educational contents about the occupational safety & health are of importance to prevent occupational disease and improve health for vocational high school teachers.

Purpose : This study is aimed at identifying the impact of emotional labor and depression on turnover intention of security guards working at customer facilities. Methods : The research targets were security guards working at representative hospitals, hotels, and department stores of customer facilities, and 132 questionnaires, excluding six questionnaires with errors in response or incomplete responses, were distributed to 138 guards at 13 hospitals, 7 hotels, and 7 department stores nationwide. Results : First, the emotional labor score of the study subjects was 2.97 out of 5. Second, the depression score of the study subjects was 4.74 out of a total score of 27. Third, the turnover intention score of the study subjects was 2.56 out of 5. Fourth, a multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the factors affecting the turnover intention of the study subjects, and the higher the emotional labor and depression, the higher the turnover intention. Conclusion : Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to prepare active preventive measures to protect security guards from emotional labor caused by responding to customers and to prepare mental health programs to manage depression.

Purpose : This study was to contribute to the establishment of a worker 's obesity management base by analyzing the factors affecting the obesity of the workers by gender by using the National Health and Nutrition Survey data. Methods : The data collected in this study used the SPSS 21.0 program and analyzed through chi-square test and multiple regression analysis. Results : Factors related to male obesity were employment type, working hours, alcohol and exercise, and factors related to female obesity were income and education levels. Conclusion : In order to lower the obesity of male workers, it is necessary to provide education for improvement of health behavior and to provide obesity management program for workers with irregular or long working hours, workers who have a high frequency of drinking or do not exercise. In order to lower the obesity of female workers, it is necessary to provide a customized obesity management program such as educating workers who have low income level or education level through counseling and education of practicable obesity management methods in the condition of the subject.

Purpose : This study is a descriptive research study to identify the factors related to the Alcohol abstinence intention of male workers working in a general hospital by applying the Theory of Planned Behavior. Methods : The subjects of the study were 237 male workers at J Public General Hospital in Seoul, excluding male workers who did not drink alcohol. Results : The average score of the subject 's alcohol abstinence intention was 2.63 out of 5. The intention of alcohol abstinence according to general characteristics showed significant difference according to position, no form, drinking, marriage, and sleeping time. The subject 's intention of alcohol abstinence was correlated positively with attitude and subjective norm, but perceived behavioral control showed no significant difference. Factors influencing the intention of alcohol abstinence were subjective norms which are variables of Theory of Planned Behavior. Conclusion : In order to increase the alcohol-abstinence intention of male workers in a general hospital, it is necessary to make efforts to increase healthy communication with significant surrounding people, such as family members and work colleagues.

Purpose : This study was conducted to identify emotional labor influenced depression in outpatient nurses in general hospitals and nurses in health examination centers. Methods : A self-report questionnaire was conducted for 296 copies, including 150 from outpatient nurses and 145 from nurses in health examination centers were collected for final analysis. For data analysis, frequency, descriptive analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed. Results : Age turned out to be the only risk factor influencing whether outpatient nurses were depressed or not. As for nurses in health examination centers, 'emotional incongruity' was the risk factor among sub-areas in age and emotional labor. Among sub-areas of emotional labor, 'emotional incongruity' was riskier for depression in high-risk groups than the normal group. Conclusion : According to the results of this study, there is a need to educate single nurses in their 30s working at health examination centers who experience emotional incongruity with how to cope with it, and improve them to reduce the emotional labor of nurses at health examination center by implementing customized programs.
