Purpose : This study evaluates the effect of healthcare workers’ satisfaction of rest facilities on fatigue. Methods : The questionnaire was distributed to 23 hospitals; 333 people responded, of which 260 were subject to the final analysis, excluding 57 who did not have rest facilities at work and 16 insincere respondents. Results : Fist, the overall satisfaction of healthcare workers with rest facilities was 3.07 out of 5. Second, 72.7% of healthcare workers complained of fatigue. Third, it was found that the effect of satisfaction with rest facilities on fatigue was significant. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the effect of detailed satisfaction on fatigue in rest facilities, it was found that fatigue was affected in the order of temperature-humidity, cleanliness, ventilation, time for availability, lighting, noise, location, size of the rest area and equipment. Conclusion : As a result of this study, in order to reduce the fatigue of healthcare workers, it is necessary to prepare improvement measures to provide rest facilities to satisfy healthcare workers.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the ego-resilience promotion program on resilience and depression levels depending on the group art therapy to workers of hotels. Methods : The subjects agreed to this survey, and these 72 selected emotional labor workers were divided into two groups (36 in the experimental and 36 in the control groups, respectively). The questionnaire survey was conducted before and after the intervention, and the effect was ascertained (September to November, 2015). Results : Through the ego-resilience promotion program, the level of total ego-resilience of emotional labor workers was significantly improved in the experimental group(p=.001), especially its vitality and curiosity, were significantly increased(p=.002)(p<..001). There was also a significant difference in the level of ego-resilience before and after the intervention in the experimental and the control groups(p=.010). The total level of depression was significantly decreased in the experimental group(p=.007) and the level of depression was significantly decreased in the 'definite' depression group(p=.004). However, there was no significant difference in the level of depression between the experimental group and the control group(p=.134). Conclusion : The ego-resilience promotion program for the workers promoted the ego-resilience level of the emotional labor and the level of depression was decreased. Therefore, in applying programs for emotional labor workers in the future, it is necessary to maintain continuous management in order to improve the psychological health level of emotional labor workers.

Purpose : Along with the changes in the distribution industry from offline-oriented to online consumption, the prolonged COVID-19 has greatly increased the delivery volume. As a result, the need for health protection for delivery workers is emerging along with the increase in workload of workers. This study aims to identify the factors affecting the fatigue of male delivery workers. Method : We analyzed the data from the Sixth Korean Working Conditions Survey (2020). And the subjects were a total of 486 male delivery workers. Logistic regression analysis was conducted to investigate the factors associated with fatigue. Result : The results of the study are as follows: 47.4% of the participants worked over 52 hours a week. 38.9% of the subjects had temperature changes. and 29.0% had back pain. And 36.2% of the participants had work-related fatigue. As a result of analyzing the factors affecting fatigue, the variables found to be associated with extra long working hours per week, temperature changes during work, and more work-related back pain, muscle pain, and anxiety. Conclusion : To reduce the fatigue of male delivery workers, it is necessary to ensure that legal working hours are regulated and to reduce work-related anxiety. In addition, it will be necessary to detect and manage back pain and muscle pain early, and to minimize temperature changes during work.

Purpose : To manage depression among people aged over 65, it is necessary to identify the factors that contribute to depression and to improve them. For the objective, this study aimed to investigate the impact of poverty and employment status on depression among people aged over 65. Methods : The 8th wave data from the Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging (KLoSA) were used, targeting 4,253 people aged over 65 in 2020. Results : The study found that depression was 1.79 times higher among people living in poverty compared to those not in poverty. Additionally, depression was 2.16 times higher among people who were unemployed compared to those employed. Conclusion : The study confirmed that poverty and employment status affect depression among older adults, highlighting the need for policies and systems to prevent poverty among them. Furthermore, various measures need to be taken at the national level to promote economic activity for older adults.
