It is necessary to investigate how age or gender affects visual perception and social skills in late adolescence. A study on the relevance of visual perception in late adolescence, a period that requires social adaptation through the development of social functions, is necessary. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between visual perception and social skills in adolescence. Visual perception and social skill were evaluated for 18-24-year-olds, who are in late adolescence, and were analyzed for gender differences and correlations with chronological age. This study found that there was a difference in visual perceptual function according to gender in late adolescence, and it was significantly higher in men. There was no significant difference in social skills according to gender. However, there was a significantly positive correlation between chronological age and visual perception, but there was no correlation with social skills. These findings provide novel information regarding the developmental course of visual perception and social skill in late adolescence.

In this paper, we proposed a new UNet 3+ model for medical image segmentation. The proposed ensemble(E) UNet 3+ model consists of UNet 3+s of varying depths into one unified architecture. UNet 3+s of varying depths have same encoder, but have their own decoders. They can bridge semantic gap between encoder and decoder nodes of UNet 3+. Deep supervision was used for learning on a total of 8 nodes of the E-UNet 3+ to improve performance. The proposed E-UNet 3+ model shows better segmentation results than those of the UNet 3+. As a result of the simulation, the E-UNet 3+ model using deep supervision was the best with loss function values of 0.8904 and 0.8562 for training and validation data. For the test data, the UNet 3+ model using deep supervision was the best with a value of 0.7406. Qualitative comparison of the simulation results shows the results of the proposed model are better than those of existing UNet 3+.

Currently, the cumulative number of confirmed cases from the coronavirus in Korea is 30.17 million, and the cumulative number of deaths also reaches 33,444 (as of January 31, 2023). Therefore, this study aims to conduct an empirical analysis on the establishment of quarantine systems in major domestic cities as it is necessary to analyze the influencing factors of COVID-19 and discuss policy directions necessary to establish an effective quarantine system in the future. Among them, 16 cities in Korea with a relatively weak quarantine infrastructure were compared with the interrelationship between "number of upper-level hospitals", "number of urban populations", "number of infected", and "number of deaths", and ultimately the results of quarantine for each local government. In conclusion, the average population of 16 cities is 0.792 million, and the average number of infected people is 0.458 million, and the average cumulative infection rate is 57.8%. Seven cities exceed the average cumulative infection rate: Suwon (61.6%), Yongin (59.1%), Seongnam (61.8%), Hwaseong (65.6%), Anyang (60.7%), Cheonan (62.9%), and Jeonju (62.9%). In addition, despite the establishment of excellent treatment facilities in the city (ave=0.0129), the ratio of "accumulated deaths" (ave=0.11%) was high in Changwon (0.12%/0.0193), Ansan (0.12%/0.0138), Cheongju (0.11%/0.0174), and the ratio of "accumulative deaths" was low (0.09%) despite the construction of relatively poor treatment facilities. Through the results of this study, we expect a paradigm shift in the infectious disease management system in major cities in Korea after post-COVID-19.

The purpose of this study was to objectively explore and discuss the effect of trainer's communication style on rehabilitation ability and rehabilitation satisfaction of elite athletes. we observed the relationship between rehabilitation trainers and injured athletes and found that communication between them plays an important role. In this study, we criticized that most of the studies related to rehabilitation were conducted from the point of view of natural science. The results of this study emphasized that rehabilitation-related research should broadly accept social science positions such as business administration. The main research findings are as follows. As a result of analyzing the relationship between trainer's communication style and rehabilitation ability, first, the trainer's cooperative and professional communication style affects emotional factors of injured players. Second, the trainer's cooperative and controlled communication style affects the cognitive factors of injured players. Third, the trainer's cooperative and professional communication style affects the behavioral factors of injured players. Fourth, the trainer's cooperative and professional communication style affects the rehabilitation satisfaction of injured players. Based on these results, this study was conducted to validate the necessity of discussing the trainer's communication style preference according to the individual background such as the injured player's gender, personality, and injury level, and the classification and composition of communication styles that match Korean culture and sentiment. As suggestions for follow-up research, active sharing of problems with adjacent disciplines such as sports sociology, sports education, and sports marketing, and parallel qualitative research centered on individual cases were suggested
