가상 운동 훈련 프로그램(Wii fit)이 여성노인들의 균형증진에 미치는 영향

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of virtual exercise training programs on the improvement of balance in the elderly women. Methods:The subjects were fifteen female citizens, 67 years of age or older living in G city, the subjects were randomly divided into groups; Virtual exercise training group(n=9), control group (n=6). After treatment measured balance by Berg Balance scale test and One-leg stand test during virtual exercise training program at pre- intervention and post-intervention. Results:The results of this study were as follows : Virtual Exercise Training Program (Wii fit) after applying the Berg balance test scores and One-Legged Stance Test, the evaluation results showed significant results(p<05). Conclusion:Virtual exercise training programs can be used to improve the balance of the elderly, as it has been shown to increase Berg balance test and one-leg stand results conducted after virtual training programs. Virtual Exercise Programs(Wii fit) were applied to demonstrate the effecting the balance of the elderly to promote more research on the impact of the ADL survey.

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of kinesio taping of thigh muscle on isokinetic muscular function during closed kinetic chain exercise of lower extremity. Methods:Twenty healthy males were participated in this study. The isokinetic muscular function of closed kinetic chain were measured for peak torque, peak torque % body weight, average power, max rep tot work before and after application of kinesio taping on thigh muscles. Results:At 60°/s peak force and peak force % body weight were significant increased in both extension(p<0.01) and flexion(p<0.001) after applying kinesio taping. At 180°/s average power was significant increased in both extension and flexion after applying taping(p<0.001). At 240°/s max rep tot work was significant increased in both extension(p<0.001) and flexion(p<0.05). Conclusion:This study suggests that application of kinesio taping on thigh muscle was more effective to improve isokinetic muscular function in closed kinetic chain exercise of lower extremity.

Cardiac disease is the class of diseases related to the heart that plays an important role in supplying blood to our body and the number of deaths is increasing every year. Cardiac Rehabilitation has been conducted as treatment and prevention in such patients with cardiac disease. Cardiac rehabilitation programs in general contain pat~ient education and consulting service in order to improve physical strength in patients with cardiac disease, decrease cardiac symptoms, promote fitness, and minimize the risk of following cardiac problems including cardiac arrest. Among them therapeutic exercise is the mainstream of cardiac rehabilitation, however, to accomplish more efficient patient care, standardized guideline based on each disease and researches from a physical therapy perspective are required.
PNF 하지패턴을 이용한 스텝퍼 운동이 20대 여성의 발목근력과 균형에 미치는 영향

Purpose:The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of stepper exercise using lower extremity patterns of PNF(Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) on ankle muscle strength and balance ability of females in their twenties. Method:Twenty subjects participated in this experiment were carried out the exercise program dose of 5 days per week for 2 weeks. They were divided into two groups; using twist stepper group(lower extremity patterns of PNF group, n=10) and using straight stepper group(n=10). The effects of twist stepper and straight stepper were evaluated by measurements of normal standing(NSEO, NSEC), and dynamic type 1 and dynamic type 2, respectively. For each case, the experimental data were obtained about static balance in 3 items : mean X speed, mean Y speed and velocity moment, that of dynamic balance in 4 items : mean X speed, mean Y speed, time, distance. Results:The results of this study were as follows; 1) In straight stepper group, the statistically significants were significants were shown on right/left ankle muscle strength in case of dorsi-flexion. 2) In twist stepper group, the statistically significants were significants were shown on right/left ankle muscle strength in case of dorsi-flexion. 3) In straight stepper group, the statistically significants were significants were shown on right ankle muscle strength in case of plantar-flexion. 4) In twist stepper group, the statistically significants were significants were shown on right/left ankle muscle strength in case of plantar-flexion. Conclusion:The above results revealed that twist stepper exercise using lower extremity patterns of PNF was more effective than straight stepper exercise for improving the ankle muscle strength.
청소년기 특발성 척추측만증 환자의 임상적 균형 평가지수와 균형 수행 모니터 측정값의 상관성 연구

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlations between clinical balance scales and Balance Performance Monitor parameters in patient with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). Methods:Twenty AIS subjects (age, 14.26±1.93 yrs; height, 160.56±7.98 cm; weight, 47.54 ±6.94 kg)were participated in this study. Postural sway(mean balance, sway angle, sway area, sway path, maximal sway velocity) were were evaluated by balance performance monitor. Measurements for clinical balance scales were Functional reach test (both side), the Lateral reach test (both side) and One leg standing test (both legs). Results:The results were as follows. There were positive strong correlation between major curve direction and left-right sway angle, sway path, maximal sway velocity. There were negative strong correlation between the functional reach and left-right sway angle, sway area, sway path, maximal sway velocity. And the lateral reach were also showed negative strong correlation parameters of balance performance monitor. One leg standing were negatively correlated with left-right sway angle, sway path, maximal sway velocity. Conclusion:The clinical balance scales will be useful tools for balance measurements, and basic tools for clinical setting for patient with AIS.
복횡근의 강화운동과 고유수용성신경근촉진법을 이용한 호흡저항운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 폐기능과 정적인 앉은자세에 미치는 영향 : 증례보고

Pupose:This study aimed to examine the Influence of stregthening for Transverse abdominis and resistive breathing exercise to use PNF on fulmonary functions and static sitting posture in adult stroke patient. Methods:Left hemi-plegic patient was masured pulmonary function test and analyzed sitting posture of alignment at pre intervention and post-intervention in 4weeks. Results:The pulmonary functions was increased and changed good alignment of trunk on sitting position after treatments. Conclusion:We were found that stregthening for Transverse abdominis and resistive breathing exercise to use PNF could improve pulmonary functions and sitting posture for stroke patient.
PNF를 이용한 슬괵근 신장 운동이 요부 움직임과 유연성에 미치는 영향

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to find out which method was efficient to enhance the flexibility of lower back between PNF(proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) and hamstring stretching. Method:subject were 20 young people between the ages 20 and 25. subjects were randomly assigned to one of 2groups; PNF(n=10), static(n=10). respective group received the same stretching does of 3days per week for 4weeks. Trunk flexion forward a measuring instrument and tapeline were performed to measurement the flexibility of lower back at different times(before starting the exercise, 4weeks after starting). Results:The results of the study were as follows: The lower back flexibility was increased significantly in PNF groups. PNF, static groups showed meaningful defference in trunk flexion forward. The finding indicate that PNF may be preferred technique for improving flexibility and that flexibility training results in on increased consistency of flexibility scores
