An Empirical Investigation of Task-Technology Fit : Context of RFID in Disaster Management KCI 등재

The notion of technological adoption such as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has been examined in various domains such as supply chain management, inventory management and health care. However, there are several unanswered questions surrounding how this technology is adopted in disaster management. This study attempts to explore the potential of RFID in disaster management. The notion of Task- Technology Fit (TTF) is deemed suitable for this purpose and thus used as the theoretical framework that is further validated by employing multiple case studies. The empirical findings indicate that there are six key factors influencing the decision to adopt RFID in disaster management. Some relate to aspects of RFID when it is put into practice, namely cost, compatibility, standardisation, implementation and locatability; while the other key factor relates to privacy and security aspect of information. It is hoped that the findings of this research will inform disaster management organizations to better plan the adoption of RFID for their operations. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to verify the structured path model which has the path influence of Task-Technology Fit(TTF) and Personal Innnovativenesss(PIIT) on organizational work achievement(OA). This study also tested the moderating effect of occupations on the paths. Methods: A structured questionnaire was administered to 300 study subjects. A structural equation path model was used. Results: The response rate was 99.9%. The model fit were GFI=.93, and RMSEA=.04. The models between equal and unequal path weight constraint were significantly different (p<.05). These paths were significant for nurses: TTF→IPKS(interpersonal knowledge-sharing)→IDKS(interdepartment knowledge-sharing) →OA and PIIT→IDKS→OA, for administrators: TTF→IPKS→IDKS, TTF→OA and PIIT→OA, and for physicians: TTF→IDKS and TTF→PA(personal achievement). Conclusions: TTF and PIIT significantly influenced knowledge-sharing and work achievement. Knowledge-sharing activities mediated the effect of TTF and PIIT on work achievements. All paths also had a moderating effect by medical professions.

본 연구는 대화형 생성AI 서비스의 기술적 특성과 사용자의 과업 특성을 요인을 발굴하고 과업- 기술적합이 사용자 만족과 지속 사용에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한, 생성AI가 제공하는 정보에 대한 사용자의 믿음 정도를 나타내는 신뢰 변수가 과업-기술적합, 사용자 만족, 지속 사용 의도에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 모형을 분석하기 위하여 연령대별 다양한 사용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 총 198부의 설문을 취합하여 SmartPLS 4.0을 이용해 분석을 실시하였다. 가설 검증 결과, 기술 특성 중 언어유창성과 상호작용성이, 과업특성 중 모호성이 과업-기술적 합을 매개로 사용자 만족과 지속사용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 하지만, 기술 특성 중 창의성, 과업 특성 중 시간 유연성은 과업-기술적합에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였으며, 신뢰 역시 과업-기술적합과 지속사용의도에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 못하고 오직 사용자 만족에만 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 대화형 생성AI 서비스를 개발하여 공급하려고 하는 공급기업이나 비즈니스 생산성 향상을 목적으로 생성AI 기술을 도입하려고 하는 기업들에게 유의미한 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.
This study identified factors related to the technological characteristics of conversational generative AI services and the user's task characteristics. Then, it analyzed the effects of task-technology fit on user satisfaction and continued use. The effects of trust, which represents the degree of users' belief in the information provided by generative AI, on task-technology fit, user satisfaction, and user continuance intention were also examined. A survey was conducted among users of various age groups, and 198 questionnaires were collected and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 to validate the proposed model. As a result of hypothesis testing, it was confirmed that language fluency and interactivity among technology characteristics and ambiguity among task characteristics significantly affect user satisfaction and intention to continue using via task-technology fit. However, creativity among skill characteristics and time flexibility among task characteristics did not significantly affect task-technology fit, and trust did not directly affect task-technology fit and intention to continue using, but only positively affected user satisfaction. The results of this study can provide meaningful implications for vendors who want to develop and provide conversational generative AI services or companies who want to adopt generative AI technology to improve business productivity.

본 연구에서는 클래식 음악공연 영상서비스의 주요특성과 이에 대한 사용자의 지속 사용 의도에 대해 연구하였 다. 이를 위해 클래식 음악공연 영상서비스를 구성하는 클래식 음악공연의 구성요인들과 영상서비스의 기술적인 구 성요인들을 확인하고 이러한 요인들이 사용자의 태도형성과 사용 의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 과업-기술 적합성(Task-Technology Fit) 모형을 사용하였다. 또한 기존 영상서비스 사용 경험이 클래식 공연 영상서비스의 지 속 사용 의도에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 연구하였다. 연구결과, 클래식 공연의 과업적 요인은 현장성, 공간성, 시각적 특성, 청각적 특성으로, 영상서비스의 기술적 요인은 시스템 품질, 영상화 특성, 편의성, 상호작용으로 구성되는 것으 로 나타났다. 또한 클래식 음악공연 과업 요소는 청각적 요인만 과업-기술 적합성에 영향을 미치는 반면 영상서비스 의 기술적 특성 요인은 모두 과업-기술 적합성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 과업-기술 적합성은 지속 사 용 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 다른 영상 시청 경험은 지속 사용 의도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 비대면 클래식 음악공연 영상서비스의 제작과 제공과정에서 소비자의 만족도를 향상시키고 지속적인 사용을 유도할 수 있는 방안을 마련하는 기초적인 자료로 사용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
This study examines major features of video services for classical music performance and the consumers' intention of using such services. To this end, this paper identifies components of classical music concerts and technical components of video services, which form a video service of classical music performance. In order to analyze how these components affect the consumers’ attitude formation and use intention, this paper utilized the Task-Technology Fit model. It also studied upon how the users' experience of using existing video services impacts continuous use intention of video services for classical music performance. The results of our findings show that realism, spatiality, visibility and auditory senses, which are the task factors of a classical music performance, and the system quality, imaging characteristics, convenience, and interaction, which are the technical factors of a video service are the comprising factors. In addition, this study found that while only auditory components of task factors of a classical music performance affect task-technology fit, all technical factors of a video service impact task-technology fit. On the other hand, task-technology fit was found to have a positive impact on the continuous use intention, while other video viewing experiences had no effect on the continuous use intention. Based on these findings, this paper is expected to provide fundamental data of frame schemes to enhance consumer satisfaction, further inducing consumers’ continuous use in the production and the delivery process of contactless classical music performance services in the future.

최근 클래식 음악 공연분야에서 공연영상을 인터넷 혹은 모바일을 통해 제공하는 클래식 음악공연 영상서비스가 확대되고 있다. 클래식 음악공연 영상서비스는 공연장에서 진행되는 현장 공연과는 상이한 특성들이 존재하므로 이러한 특성들은 어떻게 구성되면 소비자의 사용의도에는 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가를 파악할 필요가 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 먼저 클래식 음악공연 영상서비스를 구성하고 있는 두 가지 차원인 클래식 음악공연의 특성들과 영상서비스의 특성들을 도출하였다. 또한 도출된 각 상이한 특성들의 결합을 통해 클래식 음악공연 영상서비스를 제공하는 하는 것의 적합성을 검증하고자 과업-기술 적합성이론을 활용하여 분석하였다. 또한, 사용자의 타 장르 혹은 다른 종류의 영상 서비스 사용 경험이 클래식 음악공연 영상서비스의 지속 사용 의도에 미치는 효과에 대해서도 연구하였다. 본 연구는 COVID-19로 인해 급격히 증가하고 있는 비대면 클래식 음악공연 영상서비스의 제작과 제공과정에서 소비자의 만족도를 향상시키고 지속적인 사용을 유도할 수 있는 방안을 마련하는 기초적인 자료로 사용할 수 있을 것이라고 판단된다.

Tourism industry increasingly rely on information technology (IT) to improve the task performance. Many studies suggested that the evidence of IT showed not only task performance improvement but also organizational performance. Drawing from the resource-based view, technology and task fitness, and marketing orientation theories, this study proposes that IT use influences directly the task performance and proved the effectiveness of IT in the organizations of tourism industry. Further, the innovativeness, resources, and marketing orientation are identified as main determinants of IT use. The use of IT can serve as a catalyst in improving task performance for organizations in tourism industry. Based on data collected from surveying people who work in the tourism industry, the present study shed light on these issues. The findings provide a new perspective of IT effectiveness in the tourism industry. Then, we discussed the theoretical and practical implications.
Understanding Users’ Continuance Intention in Cloud Computing Services : An Integrated Model

The Cloud Computing has become one of the hottest issues in the world of information technology (IT). However, the understanding of the determinants of user’s continuance intention in the context of cloud computing services is still limited. To fill the gap, this article attempts to demonstrate the factors that influence individuals’ continuance intention of cloud computing services. In this study, we adopted the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) framework as research framework. And then, on the basis of the IS success model, UTAUT model and TTF, this research proposed an integrated model to investigate the factors that affect the cloud computing continuance intention. The ubiquitous accessibility of information through mobile devices has led to an increased mobility of workers from their fixed workplaces. Market researchers estimate that by 2016, 350 million workers will be using their smartphones for business purposes, and the use of smartphones will offer new business benefits. Enterprises are now adopting mobile technologies for numerous applications to increase their operational efficiency, improve their responsiveness and competitiveness, and cultivate their innovativeness. For these reasons, various organizational aspects concerning “mobile work” have received a great deal of recent attention. Moreover, many CIOs plan to allocate a considerable amount of their budgets mobile work environments. In particular, with the consumerization of information technology, enterprise mobile applications (EMA) have played a significant role in the explosive growth of mobile computing in the workplace, and even in improving sales for firms in this field. EMA can be defined as mobile technologies and role-based applications, as companies design them for specific roles and functions in organizations. Technically, EMA can be defined as business enterprise systems, including critical business functions that enable users to access enterprise systems via wireless mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets. Specifically, EMA enables employees to have greater access to real-time information, and provides them with simple features and functionalities that are easy for them to complete specific tasks. While the impact of EMA on organizational workers’ productivity has been given considerable attention in various literatures, relatively little research effort has been made to examine how EMA actually lead to users’ job performance. In particular, we have a limited understanding of what the key antecedents are of such an EMA usage outcome. In this paper, we focus on employees’ perceived job performance as the outcome of EMA use, which indicates the successful role of EMA with regard to employees’ tasks. Thus, to develop a deeper understanding of the relationship among EMA, its environment, and employees’ perceived job performance, we develop a comprehensive model that considers the perceived-fit between EMA and employees’ tasks, satisfaction on EMA, and the organizational environment. With this model, we try to examine EMA to explain how job performance through EMA is revealed from both the task- technology fit for EMA and satisfaction on EMA, while also considering the antecedent factors for these constructs. The objectives of this study are to address the following research questions: (1) How can employees successfully manage EMA in order to enhance their perceived job performance? (2) What internal and/or external factors are important antecedents in increasing EMA users’ satisfaction on MES and task- technology fit for EMA? (3) What are the impacts of organizational (e.g. organizational agility), and task- related antecedents (e.g., task mobility) on task-technology fit for EMA? (4) What are the impacts of internal (e.g., self-efficacy) and external antecedents (e.g., system reputation) for the habitual use of EMA?Based on a survey from 254 actual employees who use EMA in their workplace across industries, our results indicate that task-technology fit for EMA and satisfaction on EMA are positively associated with job performance. We also identify task mobility, organizational agility, and system accessibility that are found to be positively associated with task-technology fit for EMA. Further, we find that external factor, such as the reputation of EMA, and internal factor, such as self-efficacy for EMA that are found to be positively associated with the satisfaction of EMA. The present findings enable researchers and practitioners to understand the role of EMA, which facilitates organizational workers' efficient work processes, as well as the importance of task-technology fit for EMA. Our model provides a new set of antecedents and consequence variables for a TAM involving mobile applications. The research model also provides empirical evidence that EMA are important mobile services that positively influence individuals’ performance. Our findings suggest that perceived organizational agility and task mobility do have a significant influence on task-technology fit for EMA usage through positive beliefs about EMA, that self-efficacy and system reputation can also influence individuals’ satisfaction on EMA, and that these factors are important contingent factors for the impact of system satisfaction and perceived job performance. Our findings can help managers gauge the impact of EMA in terms of its contribution to job performance. Our results provide an explanation as to why many firms have recently adopted EMA for efficient business processes and productivity support. Our findings additionally suggest that the cognitive fit between task and technology can be an important requirement for the productivity support of EMA. Further, our study findings can help managers in formulating their strategies and building organizational culture that can affect employees perceived job performance. Managers, thus, can tailor their dependence on EMA as high or low, depending on their task’s characteristics, to maximize the job performance in the workplace. Overall, this study strengthens our knowledge regarding the impact of mobile applications in organizational contexts, technology acceptance and the role of task characteristics. To conclude, we hope that our research inspires future studies exploring digital productivity in the workplace and/or taking the role of EMA into account for employee job performance.

Growth in the device field is driven by various emerging devices, tablet PC are among the most recognizable. Tablet PC are mobile computing devices enabled with touch screens or pen inputs and provide the functions of various other devices. Firms are interested in utilization of tablet PC on task. Many of firms is considering accepting of tablet PC and is looking forward to performance of tablet PC. Thus, this study propose to discuss strategies for the usage of tablet PC from organizational needs perspective. The goal of this study is to identify factors influencing use of tablet PC and task performance. The results of this study showed that the proposed factors of organizational needs with a exception of Service Flexibility had a positive impact on perceived usefulness that then positively affected Usage of Tablet PC and Task Performance. In addition, perceived task-technology fit had a positive impact on perceived usefulness and Usage of Tablet PC. Finally, Innovative Culture of Organization as a moderating effect significantly influenced the relationship between perceived usefulness, perceived Task-Technology Fit and Usage of Tablet PC. This study is expected to be a reference for a subsequent study about the spread of Tablet PC in organizations and firms. The finding of this study is also meaningful since in order to help support directions of firms related on tablet PC.

The balanced scorecard(BSC) framework is a tool for strategic decision making and task support that aims for efficiency in performance management and strategy execution. BSC evolved from an old performance management practice, which tended to be limited to a finance-only perspective, to a new system of corporate management looking at corporate tasks from a multi-dimensional, future-inclined value perspective. This form of BSC amounts to a framework capable of driving management innovation and renewing the ways in which companies conceive their strategy and perform their operations. Since BSC draws integrally on user participation, it can be expected that users’ satisfaction with BSC systems is an important factor in systems’ success or failure. However, previous studies of the BSC system have not yet considered it as a theoretical model, specifically examining BSC system and task characteristics. To date, only a few studies have put forward plans for the implementation and use of BSC systems, and these studies have the common limitation of failing to consider the circumstances or theoretical structure of the companies for which a BSC system is being proposed. This paper then begins to fill some of this gap by characterizing the BSC system from the perspective of contingency theories. Contingency theories can be particularly useful in the Korean context in exploring how different companies use the BSC system in ways determined by their unique environmental characteristics, which may also determine the performance factors behind the application of a company’s particular BSC system. In order to provide concrete suggestions for implanting and using the BSC system from a contingency theory perspective, this study sets out to determine the relationships between the contingency variables affecting BSC system performance and BSC system property variables(in given cases) through an empirical analysis. The study takes into account the perspective from which contingency theory is to be applied in individual cases, sets contingency and BSC property variables with reference to the BSC system user’s environment and BSC system’s character, and frames initial hypotheses concerning corporate structure and environmental variables and BSC system performance variables with reference to previous studies. A survey was then conducted on users in Korean companies that have implemented the BSC system in order to verify the research model and understand results.
Examining the Adoption of AI based Banking Chatbots : A Task Technology Fit and Network Externalities Perspective KCI 등재 SCOPUS

The objective of this study is to provide a deeper understanding of the factors that lead to the development and adoption of AI-based chatbots. We analyze the structural relationship between the organizational (externalities), systematic (fit), and the consumer-related (psychological) factors and their role in the adoption of AI-based chatbots. Founded on the theories of task-technology fit and network externalities, we present a conceptual model overlooking common perception-based theories (e.g., Technology Acceptance Model). We collected 380 responses from Indian banking consumers to test the model using the PLS-SEM method. Interestingly, the findings present a positive impact of all factors on consumers’ intention to adopt AI-based chatbots. However, the interplays between these factors provide a mixed perspective for literature. Apart from employing a combination of factors that have been used to study technology adoption, our study explores the importance of externalities and their relationship with fit factors, a unique outlook often overlooked by prior research. Moreover, we offer a clear understanding of latent variables such as trust, and the intricacies of their interplays in a novel context. Thereby, the study offers implications for literature and practice, followed by future research directions.

정보기술의 발전과 혁신은 우리들의 일상 생활에 여러 변화를 가져오고 있다. 그 중에서도 스마트 기기의 도입과 확산은 기존의 통신을 위한 기기로서의 역할을 넘어, 정보검색 활동이나 취미, 쇼핑 등의 여가 생활, 쇼핑 등에도 큰 영향을 주고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소비자가 온라인으로 구매하는 과정에서, 온라인 쇼핑과 모바일 쇼핑의 소비자 행태 차이를 비교 분석하고자 한다. 일반적인 소비자의 구매 단계인 문제인식, 점보탐색, 대안도출, 구매, 구매 후 활동 등의 다섯 가지 단계 각각에서 온라인 쇼핑의 행태와 모바일 쇼핑의 행태를 비교하고자 한다. 대한민국의 선도 온라인 쇼핑몰의 실증 데이터를 기반으로, 각 단계에서 어떤 채널 (모바일 기기 vs. PC) 을 통한 활동이 더 활발히 수행되고, 선호되는지를 과업 기술 적합 이론을 근거로 하여 가설화 시키고, 이를 실증적으로 밝혀 온라인 쇼핑몰 운영에 대한 이론적 실무적 시사점을 도출하고자 한다.

연구목적 : 건설산업은 복잡한 공정 구조와 다수의 참여 주체로 인해 재해 위험이 높은 대표적 고위험 산업이다. 최근 스마트건설기술 도입이 확산되고 있으나, 기술 특성과 기술수용 요인이 실제 안전성과로 이어지는 구조적 경로에 대한 실증 분석은 제한적이다. 본 연구는 스마트건설기술을 개별 기술이 아닌 기술 특성 체계로 정의하고, 기술수용 요인과의 관계를 통해 안전성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 규명하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 기술수용모형(TAM)과 과업–기술 적합성 이론(TTF)을 통합한 연구모형을 설정하고, 구조방정식모형(SEM)을 활용하여 건설현장 종사자를 대상으로 수집한 설문자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 : 분석 결과, 기술수용 요인 중 TTF2는 스마트건설기술 특성(ATM)에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미친 반면(β = 0.457), TTF1은 부(–)의 영향을 나타내어(β = −0.494) 기술수용 요인의 차별적 작동 양상이 확인되었다. 반면, 스마트건설기술 특성은 안전성과(sPP)에 매우 강한 직접 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며(β = 0.924), 기술수용 요인을 통한 매개 효과는 제한적인 수준에 그쳤다.결론 : 스마트건설기술을 통한 안전성과 제고는 사용자 인식 변화보다는 기술의 통합성, 자동화, 지속성 등 기술 특성의 현장 구현 수준에 의해 보다 직접적으로 결정되는 것으로 해석된다.
Purpose:The construction industry is a high-risk sector characterized by complex processes and multiple stakeholders. While smart construction technologies are increasingly adopted, empirical evidence explaining how technology characteristics and acceptance factors translate into safety performance remains limited. This study aims to conceptualize smart construction technology as a system of technology characteristics and to empirically examine its impact on safety performance through technology acceptance mechanisms. Method:An integrated analytical framework combining the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Task–Technology Fit (TTF) theory was developed. Survey data collected from construction site practitioners were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). Result:The results show that one dimension of task–technology fit (TTF2) has a significant positive effect on smart construction technology characteristics (β = 0.457), whereas another dimension (TTF1) has a significant negative effect (β = −0.494). In contrast, technology characteristics exert a strong direct influence on safety performance (β = 0.924), while the mediating effects of technology acceptance factors are relatively limited..Conclusion:These findings indicate that improvements in construction safety performance depend more on the practical implementation level of smart construction technology characteristics—such as integration and automation—than on changes in user perceptions alone.

This study takes a quantitative approach to the influence of TTF (Task-Technology Fit) on the individual's use and performance of GSS (Group Support Systems), while traditional studies on TTF have taken the experimental approach to explore the characteristic fit between diverse tasks and technologies. We have the following two research inquires: Are the IS use and performance maximized when information technologies are provided by the exact amount of demand?; and, Does TTF at the high level between task and IT produce better IS use (or performance) than at the low level? To investigate these issues, we use the polynomial regression analysis and response surface methodology of Edwards (1993) instead of traditional direct measure of TTF. This method measures the degree of desired and actual level of information technologies in conducting tasks, and traces the dynamic changes of dependent variables (IS use and performance) according to the variances of each independent variable. Our results conclude that user's IS use and performance are maximized when information technologies are actually provided by no more or less than the desired level. We also found that TTF at the high level promotes better IS use and performance than TTF at the low level.

조직의 정보 관리 중요성이 증가하면서, 정보보안 정책 및 기술에 대한 투자가 높아지고 있다. 더불어, 조직은 도입한 정보보안 정책 및 기술 을 구성원의 업무에 적용하는 것을 요구하고 있다. 하지만, 엄격하고 높은 수준의 정보보안 기술은 조직원의 스트레스를 유발하여 정보보안 행 동을 회피할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 정보보안 준수 의도에 부정적 영향을 미치는 정보보안 기술 스트레서를 완화 방안을 제시하고 확인하는 것이다. 세부적으로, 정보보안 기술 스트레서가 개인의 내적 동기(가치 일치)와 정보보안 준수 의도에 미치는 부정적 영향을 업무-정보보안 기술 적합성이 조절하는 것을 확인한다. 본 연구는 정보보안 정책 및 기술을 도입한 조직에 근무하는 조직원들을 대상으로 설문을 하였으며, 확보된 표본을 활용하여 구조방정식 모 델링을 실시하여, 가설 검증을 하였다. 연구 결과, 정보보안 기술 스트레서가 정보보안 가치 일치를 부분 매개하여 정보보안 준수 의도를 감소시 키는 것을 확인하였으며, 업무-정보보안 기술 적합성이 정보보안 기술 스트레서와 가치 일치, 그리고 준수 의도 간의 부정적 영향 관계를 조절하 는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 조직 내부의 정보보안 수준 달성을 위해 도입한 기술의 활용에 있어 발생 가능한 조직원의 정보보안 기술 관련 스 트레스 완화 방법을 제시하고, 내부 준수 수준 향상을 위한 방향을 제시한 측면에서 시사점을 가진다.
As the importance of organizational information management increases, organizations are increasing their investment in information security. Also, the organization requires its employees to apply the policies and technologies. However, strict information security technology induces stress on the employees, thereby avoiding information security behavior. The purpose of this study is to propose amethod tomitigate the techno-stress of information security that negatively affects the information security compliance intention. The subjects of this study are employees of the organization who have adopted information security policies and technologies, and hypotheses were verified through structural equation modeling using samples obtained through questionnaires. As a result of the study, it is confirmed that techno-stress has a negative effect on compliance intention by partially mediating value congruence, and it is confirmed that technical support increases compliance intention. And, the study confirmed that task-technology fit mediates the relationship between techno-stress and value congruence. The study presents implications in terms of suggesting directions for improving the level of internal information security through stressmitigation of employees.

본 연구의 목적은 대형항공사(FSC) 모바일 애플리케이션 사용자 집단인 여성 승객들을 위하여 수월한 기 능(Functionality) 설계의 방향성을 제시하는데 있다. 동시에 과업-기술 적합성(TTF)과 사용의도와의 영향 관계를 파악하여 사용자 수 증가에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 한다. 분석결과, 변경 & 취소(MC)기능은 과 업적 특성에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 검색 & 예약(SR)기능은 기술적 특성에 영향을 주었으며, 체크인 & 컨펌 (CC)은 두 특성 모두에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 과업기술 적합성(TTF)은 사용의도를 예측하는 모델로 적합하 였으며, 여성은 검색 & 예약(SR)기능에 해당되는 데이터베이스 설계를 기술적 특성으로 인식하는 부분이 발 견되었다. 또한 기술적 특성은 적합성(TTF)에 상대적으로 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나와, 여성 승객을 위해서 는 검색 & 예약(SR)기능 개발에 집중하는 것이 개발효과성에 도움이 됨을 시사한다.
This study aims to explore functional design preferences among female passengers who are users of mobile applications provided by full-service carriers (FSCs). Simultaneously, the study seeks to uncover the relationship between task-technology fit (TTF) and users’ intention to use. An analysis revealed that the ‘modify & cancellation’ (MC) function influenced task characteristics, the ‘search & reservation’ (SR) function impacted technical characteristics, and ‘check-in & confirmation’ (CC) affected both. Task-technology fit (TTF) proved to be a suitable model for predicting intentions to use. Notably, women perceived the database design associated with the ‘search & reservation’ (SR) function as a key technical characteristic. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that technical characteristics exert a significant influence on task-technology fit (TTF), underscoring the importance of prioritising the development of ‘search & reservation’ (SR) functions for female passengers to enhance overall effectiveness.

Amid the rapid evolution of digital health services, medical escort platforms that integrate healthcare delivery and digital technology are increasingly vital for enhancing the user experience and improving healthcare accessibility. To investigate the adoption mechanisms of such platforms, this study integrates Task?Technology Fit (TTF) theory and the Extended Technology Acceptance Model (ETAM) to develop a multi-path model of behavioral intention. Empirical validation was conducted using 522 valid samples collected in China. The results showed that Task?Technology Fit has a significant direct effect on usage intention and exerts notable indirect effects via cognitive variables, including perceived usefulness, ease of use, professionalism, and security. Perceived usefulness, as a core construct of ETAM, is a central mediating node across multiple paths, demonstrating chained and straightforward mediation mechanisms. Additionally, perceived professionalism and perceived security, introduced as context-specific extensions, significantly enhance users' perceived value and adoption intention, as influenced by service reliability and technological safety. These findings extended the theoretical boundaries and contextual applicability of Technology Acceptance Models within multitasking, privacy-intensive healthcare environments. This study revealed how task-technology fit influences user decision-making through multiple cognitive pathways. It deepens the explanatory scope of technology?cognition?behavior models. It also offers systematic insights for platform optimization, service design, regulatory governance, and inclusive digital healthcare.
Understanding E-wallet Adoption in E-commerce: A Task-Technology Fit and Theory of Mind Perspective

Purpose: This study examined the factors influencing e-wallet adoption in e-commerce, focusing on the interplay between Task-Technology Fit (TTF) and Theory of Mind (ToM). The increasing prevalence of e-commerce and the rise of alternative payment methods provided the context for this investigation. The objective was to determine how perceived TTF and individual ToM levels affected e-wallet adoption. Design/methodology/approach: A quantitative research design was employed, using survey data collected from online shoppers. Findings: The results reveal that both TTF and ToM positively influence e-wallet adoption. Specifically, task characteristics, technology characteristics, cognitive ToM, and affective ToM were all found to be significant predictors of e-wallet adoption intention. Research limitations/implications: These findings highlight the importance of aligning e-wallet technology with the specific tasks involved in online shopping and addressing the social cognitive aspects of consumer decision-making. Originality/value: The study concluded that both perceived TTF and ToM are significant factors in understanding e-wallet adoption behavior in e-commerce. The study offers valuable insights for e-commerce and fintech practitioners seeking to enhance e-wallet adoption rates.

Research Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of service quality in US fresh food e-commerce on task-technology fit, perceived benefit, perceived risk, attitude, and behavioral intention, based on the task-technology fit (TTF) theory. Research Methods: An online survey was conducted among US consumers who had experience in purchasing fresh food online. A total of 250 responses were obtained and analyzed to test hypotheses using structural equation modeling using AMOS. Results in Research: The results showed that price, system efficiency, delivery, and problem resolution significantly affected task-technology fit. In contrast, information quality and product diversity were not significantly related to task-technology fit.Task-technology fit had a positive effect on perceived benefit, but a negative effect on perceived risk. Perceived benefit was positively linked to attitude toward fresh food e-commerce, while perceived risk negatively influenced it. Attitude toward fresh food e-commerce, in turn, positively affected behavioral intentions. Research Conclusion: This study provides a comprehensive analysis of how various service quality factors in fresh food e-commerce influence consumer behavior, applying the TTF theory as a framework. The present study is expected to provide a theoretical foundation for future research and provide valuable managerial insights for the fresh food e-commerce market.

This paper is aimed at investigating the influence of the fit between PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) driven mobile technology and tasks on performance. Our research motive was adopted from the burgeoning mobile technology which can be easily observed in modern management. Fit theory has been widely applied to proved the relationship between technology and tasks. However, there are few studies about the fit between mobile technology and tasks. A the advent of the IT, mobile technology started to affect individuals' lifestyle as well as the management style of firms. For the purpose of proving those hypotheses, we collected 173 questionnaires from 20 firms such as manufacturing industry, financial business, service company, telecommunication company which deem using the PDA technology for their management. We applied factor analysis and path analysis for our experiments Results revealed that the mobile technology holds a statistically significant fit with tasks and Individual characteristics.
