이 논문의 목적은 부부갈등 해결에서 중요한 요소인 동기의 탐색과 해석을 성경적 관점에서 고찰하고, 예수 그리스도의 복음을 통해서 마음의 동기를 변화시킴으로써 부부갈등이 회복되는 과정을 제안하는 것이다. 먼저 일반적인 부부갈등에 대한 이론들을 살펴보고, 갈등의 원인과 대처에 대한 성경적 관점을 제시한다. 이어서 동기이론에 대한 심리학적 개념을 설명한 후 성경적 상담에서 말하는 마음의 동기의 문제를 고찰한다. 마지막으로 성경적 변화의 역동성 모델을 통해 마음의 동기 변화와 부부갈등 해결의 유기적 연관성에 대해서 논의한다. 사람의 진정한 변화는 마음의 변화에서부터 오는 것이며, 완전하고 지속적인 변화는 마음의 동기가 변화되어야 가능하다. 갈등 해결에 대한 성경적 상담의 접근은 행동과 사고와 감정의 변화보다 마음의 깊은 동기가 변화하는 것에 초점을 둔다. 상담에서 문제의 원인을 이해하고 변화를 촉진하는데 핵심적인 역할을 하는 인간의 동기는 심리적 욕구에 의해서 좌우되는 영역이 아니라 신앙적인 믿음에 의해 결정되는 영역이며, 이는 곧 예배의 문제이기 때문이다. 따라서 성경적 변화의 목표는 마음의 우상인 죄 된 동기를 버리고 하나님이 그의 생각과 동기를 다스리게 하는 것이다. 부부관계의 변화를 위한 성경적 상담은 각 사람의 마음을 지배하고 있는 동기를 변화시킴으로써 하나님과의 관계를 회복하도록 돕는 성경적 변화(聖化)의 사역이다. 변화된 동기를 가지고 구속적인 관계로 회복된 부부는 갈등에 대해 다르게 반응할 수 있다. 이처럼 하나님과의 관계가 회복되면 부부의 관계가 회복되고, 갈등은 감사와 축복의 통로로 변한다.

This study is to examine the research and interpretation of the motive of the heart, which is an important factor in marital conflict resolution, from the biblical perspective, and to study the recovery process of marital conflict by changing motivation through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Specifically, this study examines the theories of the causes and solution of marital conflict, and understands this from the biblical perspective. After explaining the psychological concept of motivational theory, it examines the issue of heart motivation in biblical counseling. Finally, it discusses the organic relationship between the process of change of heart motivation and the recovery result through the dynamics model of biblical change. The real change of a person comes from a change of heart, and a complete and lasting change is possible only if the motivation of the heart is changed. The approach of biblical counseling on conflict resolution focuses on changing the motivation of the heart, rather than the changing in behavior, thinking, and emotions. Human motivation is not an area that is influenced by psychological needs but an area determined by faith and is a matter of worship. Therefore, the goal of biblical change is to abandon sinful motives, the idol of the heart, and to make God control his thoughts and motives. Biblical counseling for the change of marital relationship is a biblical change ministry that recovers the relationship with God by changing the motive that governs each person's heart. Married couples who have recovered to a redemptive relationship with changed motives may react differently to conflict. When the relationship with God is recovered, marital relationship is recovered, and the conflict becomes a channel of gratitude and blessing.

본 연구는 기독교인 가정에서 발생하는 부부갈등이 개인과 가족 체계 전반에 걸쳐 미치는 광범위한 악영향을 체계적으로 분석하고, 이러한 갈등이 세대를 거쳐 이어지 면서 가족 구성원들에게 미치는 장기적인 결과와 그에 따른 어려움을 해결하는 과정 에서 기독교 신앙이 가지는 치유적 역할을 심층적으로 고찰하는 것을 주된 목적으로 한다. 기독교 가정에서 발생하는 부부갈등은 단순히 부부간의 문제로만 국한되지 않 고, 가정의 모든 구성원, 특히 자녀들에게까지 심각한 부정적 영향을 미치며, 이는 가 정 전체의 기능을 저하시킬 수 있다. 이러한 상황에서 기독교 신앙과 성경적 상담이 어떻게 가정의 회복과 안정에 기여할 수 있는지를 탐구하기 위해 본 연구를 진행하였 다. 연구방법으로는 40세 이상의 중년 기독교인 4명을 대상으로 질적 사례연구를 수 행하였으며, 심층 면담을 통해 수집된 데이터를 바탕으로 가족 체계 이론, 스트레스 이론, 애착 이론 등을 적용하여 정밀하게 분석하였다. 연구결과, 부부갈등은 자녀들에 게 심각한 정서적 불안을 야기하고, 이러한 불안은 자아존중감의 저하로 이어져 불안 정한 애착 형성에 중요한 요인으로 작용하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이와 같은 부정적 영향은 자녀들의 전반적인 정서적 안정과 사회적 관계 형성에 장기적인 부정적 영향 을 미칠 수 있다. 그러나 기독교 신앙은 이러한 부정적 영향을 완화하는 데 중요한 역할을 하며, 가정의 회복과정에서 필수적인 지원체계로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 성경적 상담은 부부갈등의 치유와 영적 성장을 도모하는 데 매우 효과적인 도 구임이 입증되었으며, 이를 통해 부부 간의 관계 개선뿐만 아니라 가족 전체의 정서 적 안정에도 긍정적인 영향을 줄수 있음을 보여준다. 이러한 연구 결과는 기독교 신 앙이 갈등 해결에 있어 단순한 종교적 위안 이상의 실질적인 도움을 제공함을 시사한 다. 본 연구는 부부갈등과 기독교 신앙 간의 상호작용에 대한 심층적인 이해를 높이 며, 이를 바탕으로 상담 실천에 있어 중요한 실천적 함의를 제공한다. 향후 연구에서 는 양쪽 배우자를 동시에 대상으로 하는 보다 확장된 연구가 필요하며, 이를 통해 교 회와 지역 사회 내에서 가족 지원 체계를 강화하는 방안이 강구되어야 한다. 이러한 연구 결과는 기독교 가정과 상담 현장에서 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 가정 내 갈등 해결과 영적 성장 촉진을 위한 중요한 자료로 기여할 것이다.

This study systematically analyzes the widespread negative impact of marital conflicts in Christian families on individuals and the overall family system. It explores the long-term consequences of such conflicts on family members across generations and examines the healing role of Christian faith in addressing these challenges. Marital conflicts in Christian families are not limited to issues between spouses but extend to all family members, especially children, leading to significant negative effects that can undermine the entire family’s functionality. To investigate how Christian faith and biblical counseling contribute to the recovery and stability of the family, this study was conducted. The research was based on a qualitative case study involving four middle-aged Christians over the age of 40, with data collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using family systems theory, stress theory, and attachment theory. The study found that marital conflicts cause significant emotional anxiety in children, leading to decreased self-esteem and becoming a major factor in the formation of insecure attachment. These negative effects can have long-term adverse impacts on children’s overall psychological stability and social relationships. However, Christian faith plays a crucial role in mitigating these negative influences and acts as an essential support system in the family’s recovery process. In particular, biblical counseling has proven to be a highly effective tool in promoting the healing of marital conflicts and spiritual growth, positively affecting not only the improvement of spousal relationships but also the emotional stability of the entire family. These findings suggest that Christian faith provides practical support beyond mere religious consolation in conflict resolution. This study enhances the understanding of the interaction between marital conflicts and Christian faith, offering significant practical implications for counseling practice. Future research should involve expanded studies that target both spouses simultaneously, with a focus on strengthening family support systems within churches and local communities. These findings are expected to be valuable in Christian families and counseling settings, serving as important resources for resolving familial conflicts and promoting spiritual growth.

한국 교회의 청년의 수가 점차 줄어들고 있으며, 세상의 문화 속에서 교회 의 청년들도 똑같이 음주, 직업, 성, 가치관의 문제들로 고민하고 있다. 청년기 는 에릭슨이 말했듯이 정체성 성취를 위한 과도기적 전환기이다. 자아정체성 은 관계와 직업과 가치관을 통하여 자신이 누구이며, 무엇을 할 수 있는지를 보여주는 것이다. 본 연구는 먼저 청년의 발달과업인 자아정체성을 논하고, 교회청년들의 성 경적 자아정체성과 청년 목회에서 성경적 상담을 통해 청년들의 자아정체성 확립을 위해 목회에 적용한 것을 연구하였다. 성경적 상담을 통해 성숙에 이를 수 있도록 돕는 청년 목회를 위하여‘그리스도인의 정체성 척도지’를 통하여 하나님과의 관계, 이웃과의 관계, 나와의 관계를 알아볼 수 있게 하였다. 청년 자신과 상담자(청년 목회자)가 청년의 현재 상황을 이해할 수 있는 자료가 되 어 청년목회 내지 개인 상담의 기초자료로 사용할 수 있으며, 성경적 상담을 청년목회에 활용할 수 있음이 증명되었다. 성경적 상담의 원리로 소그룹 성경 공부와 예배, 기도생활 훈련 등 청년부 훈련 프로그램들을 소개하였다. 이것들 을 통해 청년들이 성경적인 자아정체성을 갖도록 돕는 것임을 연구하였다.

In this study, the present status of Korean churches is gradually decreasing. In the culture of the world, young people in the church are also troubled by problems, drinking, getting job, and sexual problems. Adolescence is at the turning point of establishing ego-identity. Self identity is to show who you are and what you can do through relationships, jobs and values. Youth ministry to help change into a new creation and reach maturity through biblical counseling. Among them, we can find out the relationship with God, the relationship with the neighbor, the relationship with me through ‘Christian Self-Identity Scale’ issued by Korean Association of Biblical Counseling. This study can be used as basic data for ministry or counseling as the data that can understand the current situation of the youth. Biblical Counseling has been demonstrated to be used in the youth ministry. Due to the principles of Biblical Counseling, the youth training programs were introduced to educate young people, for example Small group Bible study, prayers Training.

코로라 팬데믹을 거치면서 한국교회 안에 대단히 각광받고 있는 설교의 장르가 있 다. 바로 상담설교(counseling preaching) 이다. 상담설교란 깊은 상처를 가진 현대인 들을 영적으로, 감정적으로 치유하여 하나님 앞에 나오게 하는 설교의 형태이다. 그러 나 심리적인 면이 강조된 상담설교는 대단히 심각한 문제를 가지고 있다. 상담설교는 심리학적인 접근이 성경의 권위보다 앞서므로 비성경적인 설교, 적용위주의 도덕적 설교, 설교의 편식 등을 유발시킬 수 있다. 이에 청중의 삶의 상황을 무시하지 않으면 서, 성경적 기반을 든든히 지켜서 본문에 대한 깊이 있는 주석과 해석이 병행되는 ‘성 경적인 상담설교’ 이해가 필요하다. 이런 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구는 첫째, 해 리 에머슨 포스딕(Harry E. Fosdick)의 ‘상담설교’를 연구했다. 그는 청중의 중요성을 강조한 ‘청중의 해석자’였다. 그리고 청중의 욕구를 정확하게 파악해서 설교가 청중의 삶의 정황으로부터 출발해야 한다는 ‘삶의 상황설교’(life-situation preaching)를 주창 했다. 그러나 청중과 상황을 매우 강조하다보니 인본주의적으로 흐르고, 성경저자의 의도를 상황과 상담의 이슈에 꿰어 맞출 가능성이 있는 비성경적인 설교가 될 위험성 이 농후했다. 이에 본 연구는 둘째, 포스딕의 설교신학을 보완하기 위하여 신학의 주 요 임무를 설교로 자리매김하고, ‘성경본문의 해석자’로 알려진 칼 바르트(Karl Barth) 의 설교신학을 연구했다. 그는 그 당시 자유주의 설교신학에 반대하여 “설교란 하나 님 자신이 말씀하시는 하나님의 말씀이다.”라는 ‘본문 중심적 설교’와 ‘성경적 설교’를 주창했다. 그러나 바르트는 본문에 대한 집요함과 철저함 때문에 서론부터 결론까지 성경본문만 주석하는 ‘주석설교’만을 고집했다. 즉 현대 설교 커뮤니케이션을 무시한 ‘설교학적 근본주의자’였다. 셋째, 본 연구의 대안으로 ‘청중의 지평’을 강조한 포스딕 과 ‘본문의 지평’을 주창한 바르트의 설교신학이 균형감각을 갖는, ‘통전적이고 성경적 인 상담설교신학’이 현시대 상담설교의 방향성이라고 본다. 포스딕의 장점인 청중의 상황분석과 바르트의 강점인 성경본문에 대한 주석과 석의를 통합한 ‘본문 접맥식 설 교’(Textbezogene Themapredigt)를 성경적인 상담설교의 모델로 제시한다. 상담설교 가 청중의 삶의 상황에서 출발하여, 성경본문을 깊이 주석하고 해석해서, 구체적인 삶 의 실천과 방법까지 전한다면 건강한 상담설교가 될 것이다. 결론적으로 ‘상황’과 ‘본 문’이 함께 깊이 동행하면서 균형감각을 가지고, 통전적이고 성경적인 상담설교로 청 중에게 선포한다면, 위기의 한국교회 강단은 더욱 건강해질 것이다.

Through the COVID-19 pandemic, very popular, appealing, psychological, and counseling preachings are predominant in Korean churches. However, this preaching exposes a number of serious problems. Counseling preaching starts with a psychological approach to the situation and life of the audience. This counseling preaching is at risk of degenerating into non-Biblical preaching because the circumstances of life precede the authority of the Bible. Therefore, this study argues that it is necessary to understand Biblical counseling preaching that includes in-depth exegesis and interpretation of the Text by firmly maintaining the Biblical foundation without ignoring the life circumstances of the audience. This study first explores the counseling preaching of Harry Emerson Fosdick, who is called the 'interpreter of the audience' and the advocate of 'life-situation preaching'. Next, this study explores Karl Barth's 'Biblical preaching', which not only understands preaching as the Word of God but also as the 'interpreter of the Text'. The purpose of this study is to harmonize Fosdick's preaching and Barth's preaching as a whole. This study asserts that 'Holistic and Biblical Counseling Preaching', which has a sense of balance between Fosdick and Barth's theology of preaching, can be an alternative to counseling preaching these days. In particular, ‘Textual Connection Preaching’(Textbezogene Themapredigt), which integrates Fosdick's strength, situation analysis, and Barth's strength, exegesis on the text of the Bible, is presented as a model for Biblical counseling preaching. In conclusion, the purpose of this study is for Korean church preachers to proclaim the Word of God to the audience through holistic and Biblical counseling preachings with a sense of balance while deeply accompanying 'context' and 'Text'. Through holistic and Biblical counseling preaching, this study insists that the Korean church pulpit living in the era of crisis can be renewed more healthily.

이 연구의 주제는 바울의 에베소와 두란노 서원 사역을 성경적 상담이라고 정의할 수 있는가이다. 즉, 바울이 수행한 그 사역들을 성경적 상담이라고 부를 수 있는지를 거 시적이고 미시적인 차원에서 접근할 것이다. 전자는, 그 상담 사역이 ‘상담자-내담자’ 라는 이자(二者) 관계보다는 ‘하나님-내담자-상담자’라는 삼자(三者)관계라는 큰 틀 안 에서 상담이 이루어졌다는 것과 관련이 있다. 미시적 차원은 삼자관계의 물리적-정서 적-영적인 주제와 이어져 있다. 회당이나 제자의 집에서 물리적 시공간을 공유하면서 도 마음으로, 그리고 믿음으로 어떻게 이 삼자관계가 구성, 해체, 재구성되는가를 중 심으로 설명할 것이다. 이를 위해 바울의 에베소 사역 가운데서 「사도행전」19~20 장을 그 연구 대상으로 할 것이다. 문헌 연구를 그 연구 방법으로 하여 이에 답하려 고 한다. 결론은 다음과 같다; 상담자 바울은 두 지역에서 내담자, 즉 제자들이나 불 신 유대인들을 대상으로 공개 상담이나 개인 상담을 진행하였다. 이 상담은 하나님 나라에 철저하게 기반하면서도 상담이론을 통합하는 성경적 상담을 진행한 것으로 보 인다. 좀 더 구체적으로 말하자면, 바울은 하나님-제자/불신 유대인-바울의 삼자관계 를 물리적-정서적-영적인 차원에서 구성, 유지, 강화했다. 이는 그가 의도했던 성경적 상담의 하나의 목표라고 말할 수 있다. 이에 내담자 동맹, 섬기기, 전도하기, 가르치기, 증언하기, 토론하기, 설득하기 등을 통해 그 삼자관계를 구성, 유지, 강화했다. 그런데 도 믿지 않는 유대인들의 파괴적 공격성, 달리 말해 세속적인 핵심 행동은 그 삼자관 계를 해소하는데 하나의 요인으로 작동한 것으로 보인다. 이런 맥락에서 그를 성경적 상담자로 규정할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 내담자의 문제 핵심 감정ㆍ사고ㆍ행동을 올바로 경청, 공감, 반영, 명료화, 직면했기 때문이다. 이를 통해 삼자관계라는 틀 안에서 성 경적 핵심 사고ㆍ행동ㆍ감정을 소유한 내담자로 변화시킨 것이다. 바울은 제자들과 유대인들을 대상으로 하나님의 뜻에 순종하는 훈련을 통해 예수님을 닮아가는 성숙한 신자를 만드는 데 조력한 것이다. 이런 의미에서 우리는 바울을 성경적 상담자로 정 의할 수 있을 것이다.

The subject of this study is whether Paul's ministry in Ephesus and the hall of Tyrannus can be defined as biblical counseling. In other words, it will approach the question of whether the ministries Paul carried out can be called biblical counseling from both a macro and micro perspective. The former is related to the fact that the counseling ministry took place not so much within a 'counselor-client' relationship but within a larger 'God-client-counselor' triadic relationship. The micro perspective is connected to the physical-emotional-spiritual themes within that triadic relationship. It will focus on how this triadic relationship is constructed, deconstructed, and reconstructed in heart and faith while sharing physical space in a synagogue or a disciple's house. For this purpose, Acts chapters 19-20 in Paul's Ephesian ministry will be studied. Literature research will be used as the research method to address this question. The conclusion is as follows: Counselor Paul conducted public and private counseling with clients, meaning disciples or unbelieving Jews, in both regions. This counseling appears to have been biblical counseling that thoroughly integrated counseling theory while being grounded in the Kingdom of God. To be more specific, Paul structured, maintained, and strengthened the triadic relationship between God, disciples/non-believing Jews, and Paul on physical-emotional-spiritual levels. This can be considered one of the intended goals of biblical counseling. In doing so, he structured, maintained, and strengthened this triadic relationship through client alliance, serving, evangelizing, teaching, witnessing, discussing, and persuading. Nonetheless, the destructive aggression of unbelieving Jews, that is, their secular core behaviors, seems to have operated as a factor that disrupted this triadic relationship. In this context, he can be regarded as a biblical counselor because he properly listened to, empathized with, reflected, clarified, and confronted the core emotions, thoughts, and behaviors of the clients. Through this, he transformed the clients into owners of biblical core thoughts, behaviors, and emotions within the framework of the triadic relationship. Paul aided in creating mature believers who resemble Jesus by training both disciples and Jews to obey God's will. In this sense, we can define Paul as a biblical counselor.

본 연구는 오늘날 한국 청소년들이 겪는 학업 중압감의 실태를 파악하고 이의 성경적 상담을 통한 신앙지도에 관한 연구이다. 구체적으로는 어느 한 교회의 청소년부의 학생들과 학부모를 상담한 내용을 분석하여 그들의 경험과 문제에 맞는 성경적인 접근 방법을 모색하는 것이다. 한국교회의 성장이 둔화되고 있는 현 시점에서 내일의 주역인 청소년을 올바르게 신앙 지도하는 것은 아주 중요하다. 청소년들에 대한 학업의 압박감은 지역 교회에도 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있어서 많은 학생들이 주중에 있는 청소년 성경공부나 예배에 나오지 않게 되고 심지어는 상당수의 학생들이 주일 예배에도 참석을 못하고 학교를 가거나 학원을 간다. 크리스천 학부모들도 헌신된 몇몇 부모들을 제외하고는 이러한 학생들의 선택을 방조한다. 이는 지역 교회 청소년부의 약화 또는 붕괴로 연결된다. 더 안타까운 것은 이에 대해서 많은 교회들이 적극적으로 대처하지 못하고 있는 것이다. 대부분의 교회들은 줄어드는 청소년의 교회 출석에 대응하는 전도나 예배 프로그램에 초점을 맞추는 경향이다. 이러한 교회 안에 존재하는 청소년들에 대한 피상적인 접근 방식에 대하여, 이 논문은 교회 안의 청소년들도 학업의 압박과 스트레스로 고통 받고 있음을 인지하고 그들의 어려움을 성경적 상담의 방법을 통하여 성경적으로 이해하고 이들을 성경적으로 도울 수 있는 원리를 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구는 목회에서 상담이 차지하는 역할을 조명하고 이의 두드러진 특징과 과제들을 기술한다. 상담의 대상인 청소년의 특성, 가정, 학교, 사회, 교회 등의 환경적 특성을 알아보고 청소년이 직면한 문제점들을 알아본다. 이어서 청소년이 문제를 직면하고 스스로 해결하게 하는 방법을 설명하며 이를 위한 성경적 상담의 방법 L.K.S.D.(Love, Know, Speak, Do)를 구체적으로 적용함으로써 청소년의 마음의 변화를 시도하는 신앙지도 방법과 성공적인 상담사례를 예시한다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the principles of Biblical counseling concerning the mental stresses prevalent in Korean students due to their severe academic pressures to prepare for admission to college. This dissertation will provide a case study of a youth group and their parents in a local church, and will analyze the results of counseling with them by using the principles of biblical counseling, developed to fit with their conditions. In Korean society, the college from which one graduate is more important than a different society can ever imagine. This emphasis on college results in overheated competitions in the entrance examination. Teenagers’ academic pressures and their consequent mental problems have raised a grievous concern in the multiple sectors of society, including the government, social institutions, and private parties. They have suggested and implemented various solutions. Despite these efforts, however, juvenile delinquency is steadily increasing and its character is getting worse. Furthermore, it becomes more difficult to find effective measures to this problem. Teenagers’ inordinate academic pressures also create a negative effect on local churches. Many youth group members quit weekday Bible studies and worship services. Some of them do not regularly attend Sunday worship service because they have to go to private tutoring centers. Christian parents, except for those who are devoted to Christian faith and practice, ignore their children’s decision not to go to church on Sunday. This trend gradually weakens youth group activities, and in some cases this even leads to the collapse of youth group in local churches. Unfortunately, many churches respond to this problem simplistically. Most churches focus on evangelism or changing worship liturgy in order to increase church attendance. Most of all churches are more interested in church attendance than in helping them in real life. Against this superficial approach to which churches may easily resort, this study suggests an alternative biblical principle by which churches may recognize that teenagers do suffer from inordinate academic pressures and mental stress, and they may understand the nature of their suffering and may receive by means of biblical counseling. Heart Model, one of biblical counselling, is adapted and analysed with a successful case study. It is practised with methods of L.K.S.D.(Love, Know, Speak, Do).

본 연구는 성경적 상담의 관점에서 기독교 상담의 통합 모델에 관하여 재조 명하고자 하였다. 본 논문은 크게 세 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 첫째는 통합의 내 용에 관한 부분이다. 둘째는 통합의 모델에 관한 부분이다. 셋째는 전체적으로 성경적 상담학적으로 재조명 하는 부분이다. 본 논문을 통해서 통합의 내용과 모델을 이해한 후에, 성경적 상담학적 관점으로 기독교 상담의 통합을 재조명하 고 평가해 보았다. 이를 위해 먼저 기독교 상담과 통합에 있어서 통합의 역사, 개념, 내용들을 살펴보았다. 더 나아가 다양한 학자들의 통합적 모델들을 보았 다. 이와 같은 기독교 상담의 통합모델에 관하여 성경적 상담학적 관점으로 조 명하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 통합으로 인하여 정확 무오한 하나님 의 말씀인 성경의 진리가 훼손되어서는 안 된다는 것이다. 둘째, 성경과 심리학 의 권위가 동등하게 취급될 수 없다는 것이다. 셋째, 성경적 세계관과 충돌하는 심리학적 지식과 정보를 수용할 수 없다는 것이다. 넷째, 성경적 렌즈를 통하여 심리학과 상담을 재조명해야 한다는 것이다. 다섯째, 성경에 위배되지 않는 범 주에서 과학으로서의 심리학의 이론과 정보를 사용할 수 있다는 것이다.

There are a number of schools in the modern Christianity counseling field which criticize or complement one another through mutual debates. The most fierce debate subject is about how to approach psychology. In fact, there are various opinions about how to approach psychology among scholars of Christian counseling. Some of them support counseling based on psychology while others support counseling based on the Bible principles. An integrated model that integrates Christianity and psychology has emerged only recently. The term “Integration” in this field was firstly coined by Fritz Kunkel. After him, the integration between Christianity and psychology has been confused with many difficulties. Some scholars have preferred a theoretical approach whereas others have preferred a practical approach. Some scholars have paid attention to how to integrate them whereas others have paid more attention to what to integrate. Therefore, it is not easy to define the direction of the integration in short, since the approach and opinions of the integration vary. The integration of Christianity and psychology is as important to human lives as the integration of theory and application, faith and practice, and politics and economy. This study aimed to re-highlight and evaluate the integration model of the Christianity counseling from the viewpoint of the biblical counseling. To achieve this goal, history, concepts, and opinions of the integration in the Christianity counseling were discussed first in this study. Moreover, the integration models of various scholars were reviewed. The integration model of the Christianity counseling was rehighlighted from the biblical counseling point of view. This paper is organized mainly with three parts. The first part is about various opinions of the integration. The second part is about the integration models. The third part is to re-highlight the integration model with biblical counseling viewpoints. Through this paper, opinions and models of the integration were understood and the integration of the Christianity counseling was re-highlighted and evaluated from the biblical counseling viewpoints. The findings are as follows. First, the truth of the Bible, which contains the precise Words of God, should not be altered due to the integration. Second, the authority of the Bible should not be treated like psychology. Third, psychological knowledge and information that conflict with the biblical view of the world are not acceptable. Fourth, psychology and counseling should be re-illuminated through a biblical lens. Fifth, psychological theories and information can be used as long as they do not contradict biblical teachings.

본 연구의 목적은 성경적 상담을 활용한 부모교육을 통해 첫 자녀를 양육하는 기독교인 어머니의 자녀양육 스트레스에 대한 경험을 살펴봄으로써 첫 자녀양육의 어려움을 겪는 기독교인 어머니를 돕기 위한 실제적 자료를 제공하는 것이다. 연구 참여자는 25개월과 17개월 된 여아를 키우는 기독교인 어머니 2명이며, 심층면담의 도구로 정희정이 개발한 성경적 상담을 활용한 기독교 부모교육 프로그램을 사용하여 24회 실시한 사례를 질적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 성경적 상담 활용 부모교육 프로그램을 통해 기독교인 어머니들은 첫 자녀양육 스트레스를 인식하였다. 둘째, 기독교인 어머니들은 자녀양육 스트레스에 대한 객관적인 분석과 평가를 통해 감정과 욕구를 찾아 문제의 원인을 이해하였다. 셋째, 하나님의 은혜를 통해 자녀양육에의 새로운 목표를 세워 악순환에서 선순환의 방향으로 나아갔다. 넷째, 새로운 자녀양육행동을 교육하고, 실천을 통해 자녀양육에서의 변화를 가져오게 되었다. 결론적으로 성경적 상담을 활용한 부모교육 프로그램을 통해 기독교인 어머니들은 자녀양육 스트레스에 대한 그들의 반응으로 인한 악순환에 대한 인식을 통해 부모로서의 자신의 의미를 하나님 안에서 깨닫고, 계속적인 자녀양육과정에서 하나님을 의지하게 되었다.

The purpose of this study is to provide practical resources through parenting education using biblical counseling to help Christian mothers experiencing the first child rearing stress. The participants are two christian mothers whose daughter is 25 months old and 17 months old respectively. The Christian parenting education program using the biblical counseling developed by Chung Heejung has been utilized as an instrument of twenty-four in-depth counseling interviews, conducted from April 13, 2015 to November 16, 2015. The findings are as follows. First, the mothers recognized the situation of the first child rearing stress Second, they understood the cause of the problem and found out their emotion and desire through the objective analysis and evaluation of child rearing stress. Third, they changed to the virtuous from vicious cycle establishing a new goal in child rearing through God's grace. Fourth. they were educated to new rearing behaviors and made a change in child rearing through the continuous practice. In conclusion, through the parenting education program using the biblical counseling, the Christian mothers realized the meaning of themselves as a parent in God from an awareness of the vicious cycle of their response to the child rearing stress and relied on God in their continuous child rearing process.

본 연구는 근거 이론적 접근을 사용하여 우울을 경험하고 있는 기독 중년 여성의 회복 과정을 확인하고 그에 대한 실체이론을 개발함으로써 치료단계와 우울증 치료에 반응하는 유형을 확인하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 개방코딩 과정에서 155개의 개념과 39개의 하위 범주 그리고 15개의 상위 범주가 도출되었고, 근거이론의 패러다임에 따라 모형을 구성하였다. 핵심 범주로는 ‘하나님께 의지함으로 자신의 삶을 변화시키기’가 도출되었다. 이는 우울을 발생하게 한 요인들을 해결하는 것이 아니라 하나님께 나아가 회개하고 자기중심의 삶에서 하나님 중심의 삶으로 변화하는 과정이라는 것이다. 결국 우울 회복 과정은 참여자가 자신의 삶을 하나님 앞에 내려놓고 하나님 앞에 예배를 회복해 가는 과정이다. 회복의 과정을 통해 나타난 우울 회복의 결과는 ‘신앙의 독립적 성숙형’, ‘신앙의 공동체적 성숙형’, ‘신앙의 샤머니즘적 의존형’의 세 가지 유형으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통하여 우울을 경험하고 있는 기독 중년 여성들의 문제를 성경적 상담으로 해결하고, 일상생활에 적응해 가는 ‘하나님께 의지함으로 자신의 삶 변화시키기’의 과정에서 그 단계와 유형을 확인함으로써 실질적인 성경적 상담을 제공하기 위한 이론적인 기틀을 제공하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore a substance theory appropriate for middle-aged christian depressed women by explaining how the participants recovered from their depressions and to verify the treatment phases of depression and the types of the recovery processes. For this purpose the grounded theory approach as one of qualitative research was used. The subjects of this study were eight middle-aged christian women who were about early-40s to mid-50s. And the data was based on 8 counseling cases which were progressed by one biblical counselor. After researching, 155 concepts, 39 sub-categories and 15 categories were derived from this study in the open coding. The recovery process had shown 6 stages. Core category out of selective coding was ‘the progress of restoring life by trusting God’. There were three types of depression recovery. ‘Independent maturation of faith type’, ’Faith community’s maturation type’, ‘Dependent on Shamanistic faith type.’ In addition, this study included the analysis of its contextual model. Based on the results of the above studies, this paper was to resolve the christian middle-aged women’s problem who suffered from depression. And this study tried to provide the theoretical foundation of biblical counseling by determining the types and stages.

본 연구는 성경적 상담의 관점에서 한국교회와 성경적 상담의 이해와 과제가 무엇인지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 복음주의 신학의 정체성을 살펴보았다. 복음주의 신학의 정체성이란 믿음으로 구원 얻는다는 이신득의의 진리를 불신자에게 전파하는 것이요, 믿음의 내용는 예수 그리스도의 하나님 되심과 그의 고난과 죽음, 부활과 승천, 재림을 믿으며, 모든 죽은 자의 부활과 심판, 그리고 모든 인류가 믿음에 따라 천국과 지옥으로 나뉘게 될 것을 믿는 것이다. 복음주의 상담에 대한 이해를 위해서 심리 치료적인 인간이해에 관한 성경적 상담의 관점을 다루었으며, 성경적 상담을 위한 인간 이해는 성경적 인간관을 따라야 한다는 결론을 얻었다. 더 나아가 성경적 상담의 역사를 살펴보았다. 성경적 상담의 과제는 1. 성경적 상담의 신학을 정립하는 것. 2. 교회를 위한 과제 3. 인간의 존엄성 회복을 위한 과제 4. 건강한 가정 회복을 위한 과제 5. 전인 건강을 위한 과제 6. 중독 치료를 위한 과제 7. 영성 형성과 발달을 위한 과제가 있다고 보았다. 한국복음주의 기독교상담학회를 중심으로 한 복음주의 상담 운동과 성경적 상담운동이 확산되어 건강한 교회, 건강한 사회를 이루게 되기를 간절히 열망한다.

In this study, we review the tasks of Biblical counseling in Korean Church from the viewpoint of biblical counseling. To this end, we first reviewed evangelical theology, which states that we shall witness the truth of being justified by faith, which means we are saved only by faith. The core of this faith is that Jesus Christ is God, and the belief of his suffering, death, resurrection, lifting to the heaven and the second coming. We conclude that we should follow the biblical view of humanity in order to provide better Biblical counseling. We also reviewed the history of Biblical counseling in relation to the history of the Korean church. The tasks of Biblical counseling in Korea are: 1) to establish the theology of Biblical counseling; 2) to determine the tasks to be carried out by the Korean church; 3) to determine what tasks are necessary to restore human dignity; 4) to determine and carry out the tasks necessary to restore family health; 5) to determine and carry out the tasks necessary to achieve holistic health; 6) to determine and carry out the tasks necessary for addiction treatment; and 7) to determine and carry out the tasks necessary for spiritual development. We are eagerly looking forward to seeing healthy churches and a healthier society by spreading the Biblical counseling movement led by the Korean Evangelical Counseling Society.

이 논문의 목적은 미국 복음주의 기독교상담 안에 최근에 일어나는 성경적 상담 확장의 주요 원인으로 ‘신칼빈주의’의 부상을 고찰하는 것이다. 이 글은 먼저 성경적 상담이 복음주의 기독교상담 안에서 차지하는 위치를 검토한 후, 성경적 상담과 신칼빈주의가 어떻게 미국 복음주의권에서 확장되고 있는지를 기술한다. 이를 통해 최근의 성경적 상담 확장을 이해하기 위해서는 복음주의권에서 일어나고 있는 신칼빈주의를 고찰해야 함을 주장한다. 성경적 상담과 신칼빈주의의 연관성을 구체적으로 밝히기 위해 이 논문은 ‘신칼빈주의’의 대표적 지도자인 Timothy Keller와 John Piper의 글들과 성경적 상담의 연관성을 신학적인 영역과 상담적 영역으로 나누어 고찰한다. 구체적으로 신학적 영역에서는 칼빈주의의 특징인 ‘하나님 중심’ ‘성경중심’ ‘교회중심’을 그리고 상담적 영역에서는 ‘인간 이해’와 ‘동기 이론’을 고찰한 후, Keller와 Piper는 그들의 저작에서 성경적 상담과 같은 신학적, 상담학적 관점을 공유하고 있음을 지적한다. 마지막으로 이 논문은 기독교상담 연구에서 신학적 영향의 중요성을 지적하며 동시에 성경적 상담이 최근의 확장에 안주하기 보다는 그에 상응하는 구체적인 상담이론과 방법을 개발하는 연구가 필요함을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate New Calvinism’s influence as a major cause to the recent expansion of Biblical Counseling Movement in American Evangelicalism, The study first examines the status of Biblical Counseling in Evangelical Christian Counseling, and then describes how Biblical Counseling as well as New Calvinism have expanded in American evangelicalism. The study argues that to understand the rise of Biblical Counseling 'New Calvinism" should be examined. To prove New Calvinism’s influence on Biblical Counseling, the study investigates the writings of Timothy Keller and John Piper, two important leaders of New Calvinism, in the areas of theology and counseling. The study pointed out that Biblical Counseling was founded on the principles of Reformed theology and has emphasizes God, the Bible, and Church. In the area of counseling theory, the article noted that Biblical Counseling put emphasis on biblical understanding of person and motivation of heart. Based on this examination, It was argued that Keller and Piper, in their writings, share these theological and counseling views with Biblical Counseling. As a conclusion, the study provides implication that examining theological influence in studying Christian counseling is important, and suggests that future studies need to develop concrete models of change and methods to enhance Biblical Counseling.

본 연구의 목적은 노화 불안을 겪고 있는 사람들을 위해 성경적 상담을 하고 자 하는 상담자들에게 도움을 주기 위한 것이다. 급격한 고령화 문제에 따르는 노인 문제가 급증하고 있는 현실 속에서 상담자들은 노인의 노화불안의 문제에 직면하지 않을 수 없다. 불안은 본래의 목적에 도달할 수 없게 하는 본질을 가지 고 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 노화불안을 이해하고 돕는 것은 노년기를 향한 하 나님의 본래의 목적을 이루어 드리는 일이라 할 수 있다. 이 논문은 이러한 견지 에서 앞서 연구된 문헌 연구를 통해서 고령화 사회의 현실을 고찰하고, 성경적 상담의 목적 안에서 노화불안의 문제를 이해하고, 성경적 상담자들에게 상담의 실천적 원리를 제시하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 논문은 먼저 노화의 본질, 특히 노 화로 인한 신체적, 경제적, 사회적 변화의 현상과 노화 불안의 요인들을 고찰하 였다. 그리고 건강과 재정의 상실, 사별의 고통, 역할 전환, 대인 관계 결핍, 죽 음 등이 노화 불안의 요인임을 살펴보았다. 그 후에 노화 불안에 대한 성경적 상 담의 목적을 제시하고, 이런 연구를 바탕으로 노화 불안에 대한 성경적 상담의 적용 원리들을 제시하였다. 이 연구의 결과로 노화 불안을 겪고 있는 사람들의 문제를 좀 더 심도 있게 이해하고 성경적인 상담을 통해 도움을 줄 수 있는 원리 들을 제공할 수 있게 되었다.

The purpose of this article is to help the counselors who try to give the biblical counseling to the old people who are suffering from aging anxiety. Today the problems of aged people are rapidly increasing because of longer life span than ever before. Therefore, counselors cannot fail to notice the problems of aging anxiety. This article observes the topic of aging anxiety and the purpose of the biblical counseling for the problem. Especially it takes a close look at the physical, economical, and social changes caused by aging. The causes of aging anxiety are as follows: the loss of health and finance, the pain of bereavement, the change of role, the lack of personal relations, death. On the basis of this kind of study, this article discusses the applicable principles of the biblical counseling for aging anxiety by means of examining the existent scholarly works. The principles are as follows: listening to the story, healing the emotion with the Bible and searching for the meaning of life and practicing it. If the biblical counselors use these applicable principles, they will experience successful results. As a result, it is expected that this article gives some practical helps to the professional counselors or ministers who want to help the people suffering from the aging anxiety with the biblical and effective counseling.

이 논문은 한국 교회의 제자훈련사역에 성경적 상담이 적용될 때 제자훈련 참여자들에게 어떤 긍정적 영향을 주는가를 연구한다. 더 구체적으로 말하면 이 연구는“제자훈련 참가자들이 성경적 상담을 받은 후 어떤 변화를 경험했는 가?”라는 연구 질문을 통해 한 지역교회의 제자훈련사역에 참여하는 구성원이 성경적 상담을 받는 경우 어떤 성장과 변화를 체험하는지를 질적 사례연구 방법 으로 고찰한다. 이를 위해 먼저 이 논문은 제자도, 제자훈련 그리고 성경적 상담에 대한 이론 적 배경을 설명한 후 성경적 상담을 접목한 한 지역교회의 제자훈련 사역의 사 례를 연구한다. 선행연구들은 제자훈련과 성경적 상담이 그 목적과 접근방법의 측면에서 유사함을 지적한다. 상담과정에서 수집된 자료들을 분석한 결과, 제 자훈련에 성경적 상담이 접목되었을 때 피상담자들은 문제의 심각성 인식, 신앙 과 인터넷 문제의 연관, 그리고 교회의 중요성을 통해 도움을 받아 삶이 변했음 을 보여주고 있다. 마지막으로 사례연구의 결과를 바탕으로 제자훈련에의 성경 적 상담의 적용을 위하여‘실제화, 자료화, 훈련, 활용, 모집, 확장’의 6가지 구 체적인 방법을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine what benefits participants in discipleship training receive when experiencing biblical counseling redundant. Specifically, by asking the following research question, “What change did the participants discipleship training experience after receiving biblical counseling?” this study investigates how the participants experience growth and change in biblical counseling. To achieve this goal, the study first reviews precedent literature related to the topics such as discipleship, discipleship training, and biblical counseling, and explains theoretical background to examine a local church’s discipleship ministry and biblical counseling. The literature review found similarity between discipleship training and biblical counseling in their purpose and approach. Among many literature, David Watson’s book “Discipleship” has been a classic that explains the meaning of discipleship. For him, the essence of discipleship is to imitate Jesus and follow his steps in every aspect of one’s life. “Discipleship training” usually refers to a specific ministry of local congregation to train its members in the areas of Bible knowledge, its application, and practices in everyday Christian life. Among various Christian counseling approaches, biblical counseling model resembles the goals and visions of discipleship and discipleship training. But a distinctiveness of biblical counseling can be found in its focus on concrete change in deeper levels in the areas of counseling related issues. Among various traditions of qualitative research methods, the study employed case study method for it investigates complex bounded system like a local congregation. To examine the effectiveness of biblical counseling in the process of a discipleship training, the study first selected a local congregation well known for its discipleship training ministry, and provided four participants in discipleship training process with individual biblical counseling and two ground counseling sessions which lasted for six months. Main data were transcripts from counseling and discipleship training sessions and they were coded through content analysis. The result of the data analysis reveals that the participants were having various issues such as marital relationship problems, depressed feelings, and internet overuse. Among them, the problem of internet overuse was notably shared. Thus, internet overuse problem was mainly addressed in counseling sessions. Data analysis reveals that the participants realized seriousness of the problem, importance of faith for addressing internet problem, and importance of local church through biblical counseling. Initially, the participants assumed that they were using internet a little more than ordinary use and that the use of the internet was necessary for life. However, through counseling intervention that helped closely monitor and analyze daily use of the internet, they realized the seriousness of their problem. Once they could see the reality in their problems, they could find other related issues. For instance, participants could connect the internet overuse with their marital and other related problems. By indulging in internet use, they avoided to face their relational problems and tried to fill the emptiness. The participants also could see their problems in the light of faith and the Bible. More concretely, they could see their struggles as spiritual battle. Finally, the biblical counseling intervention led them to acknowledge and appreciate the positive roles of faith community as a vital resource for spiritual recovery process. Based on this result, the study suggests six ways to apply biblical counseling in discipleship ministry in local church: materializing, actualizing, training, utilizing, recruiting, and expanding. That is to say, discipleship training ministry needs to have materials to provide information and specific content of biblical counseling. Further, it needs to implement the content of biblical counseling as a part of discipleship training program so that discipleship training ministry can touch every aspect of a believer’s life. To do this, educational program such as “counseling school” as well as professional counseling should have collaborative relationship that enhances growth and change.

The aim of this study is to propose Biblical counseling methods based on Reformed theology, rather than counseling methods based on psychological theories, as Christian counseling methods for problems regarding anger in the elderly, who are emerging as neglected populations in modern society at a time of an imminent aged society. Toward this end, the definition and the characteristics of the elderly were examined above all. An increase in tendencies for depression, introversion, and passivity, changes in perceptions of gender roles, and a rise in rigidity and cautiousness were observed in the elderly. The causes of anger in the elderly, in particular, included problems regarding health, financial conditions, and social maladjustment, and a conceptual understanding of anger was examined. To propose Biblical counseling methods for anger in the elderly, a theological understanding of Biblical counseling was looked into first, and then Biblical counseling methods and anger presented in the Bible were suggested. First, get rid of bitterness. Second, let yourselves witness the time limits of anger. Third, protect your mind from anger. Fourth, tell yourselves that there are things that you must rid yourselves of. Fifth, let yourselves know that forgiveness is the way to overcome your anger. It was highlighted that such changes can be made within the history of the Bible, which is the word of God, and the Holy Spirit.

본 연구는 성경적 상담이 현재시점에서 좀 더 성경적이 되기 위해 보완해야 할 부분이 있음을 제시하고자 한다. 성경적 상담에서 부단히 검토해야 할 것은 성경의 충분성이 아니라 상담자들의 시대적 제한성이라 생각한다. 이는 상담의 언어가 시대적 배경과 동기를 가진 것으로 여전히 변천하는 시대의 패러다임 안 에서 구사되고 있기 때문이다. 그동안의 성경적 상담은 내담자의 마음이 중요하 다는 것과 죄의 뿌리를 찾고 회개하여 변화하도록 하는 데 집중함으로써 개인과 내면상태를 중요시하는 접근을 해왔다. 상담의 실제에서 성령의 역사는 내담자 의 삶과 구체적으로 연결되기보다 말씀이나 상담자라는 도구에 더 의존된 경향 이 있었고, 공동체를 중요하게 여기면서도 상담에 직접 활용하는 것은 미약하였 다. 이에 반해 포스트모던 시대의 치료적 접근에는 내담자의 삶의 여정을 주된 소재로 삼아 비전문가인 외부사람들의 다중적이고 다방향적인 영향력을 구체 적으로 사용하는 과정들이 제시된다. 이는 해석의 차원이기보다는 수집의 차원 으로 무엇을 듣고자 하는가에 초점을 두는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 성경적 상담 과 포스트모던 시대의 치료적 접근의 듣기언어를 검토하여, 내담자의 인생여정 을 성령의 역사로 들으며 공동체 안에서 더 풍성해지도록 한다는 점에서 좀 더 성경적이 되는 지점을 살펴보고자 한다.

This study suggests the improvement areas for the biblical counseling to become more biblical. I believe that what we need to keep examining is not the sufficiency of the Bible but the periodical limitations of the counselors. The language of the counselors has its periodical background and motivations, spoken in the paradigm of changing era. The biblical counseling has focused on the client’s mind, trying to find the root of the sin and make the person repent and change. In actual counseling, the Work of the Spirit has depended more on the Bible or the tool of counselors than making close connections with the client’s life. And the community has actually been used weakly while emphasizing it. On the contrary, the therapeutic approaches in postmodern era focus mainly on the journey of client’s life and suggest the processes where multi-directional effects of the Participants are used. This is more of collection than interpretation, focusing on what to listen to. This study examines the listening language of the biblical counseling and the therapeutic approaches of postmodern era. The biblical counseling becomes more biblical in that we listen to the client’s life as the history of the Work of the Spirit, making it more abundant in the community.

가정교회는 원래 하나님이 의도하신 교회의 모습이라고 말할 수 있다. 신약 성경에 나오는 교회에 관한 개념 가운데 중요한 개념은 그리스도의 몸과 하나님의 가족이라는 개념이다. 그런데 가정교회는 이론적으로만이 아니라 실제적으로 교회로 하여금 그리스도의 몸으로서와 하나님의 가족으로서의 기능을 하게 한다. 가정교회 안에서, 그리고 가정교회를 통해 성도들은 한 몸을 구성하는 지체들과 영적 가족으로서 서로가 긴밀하게 연결된, 깊은 의존의 관계를 가지고 있다. 가정교회 구성원들 상호 간에는 그 어떤 상담보다 활발하고 효과적인 평신도 상담이 이루어지고 있다. 가정교회 사역은 평신도 성경적 상담사역의 활성화에 크나큰 도움을 주기에 가정교회 리더들이 성경적인 상담의 원리와 방법으로 무장된다면 거기서부터 나타나는 긍정적인 영향력은 놀라울 것이다. 이 시대는 특별히 소그룹과셀과 가정교회에 대한 관심이 점증하고 있기에 가정교회 사역을 통해서 평신도 성경적 상담사역이 활성화되면 가정교회 사역에도 긍정적인 역할을 하게 될 것이고, 성경적 상담과 평신도 상담사역에도 긍정적인 영향을 끼치게 될 것이다. 결국 가정교회 사역과 성경적 상담과 평신도 상담사역이 서로 상승작용을 일으켜서 교회 를 건강하게 만들며 이 세상에도 강력한 영향력을 끼쳐서 복음을 힘 있게 증거하게 될 것이다.

The house church is the church God intended to build. Important concepts of church in the New Testament are the body of Christ and the family of God. The house church functions as the body of Christ not just theoretically but also practically.
