In this study we are addressing an important question of whether Mongolia's natural abundance in natural resources is likely to promote economic growth in the country or lead it to stagnation. We argue that the natural resource curse is not cast in stone, but that at the same time little can be expected in terms of the economic prosperity if drastic institutional reforms are not undertaken in the near future. Those reforms would have to concern the transparency of Mongolia's financial sector so as to decrease the cost of capital, and government intervention in order to channel the windfall profits from the mining sector into the infrastructural improvements. Such improvements are especially needed in order to reduce Mongolia's comparative disadvantage in terms of its transportation costs. Encouraging innovative processes in the manufacturing sector especially for the export-oriented firms would be another policy priority.

This paper reviewed a theoretical background rationalizing performance requirements, particularly employment and training requirements which are used by host countries in conjunction with investment incentives as a FDI policy means to achieve economic objectives. And it discusses main observations from the study and proposes some policy alternatives helpful for the government of Mongolia to benefit from FDI through performance requirements in conjunction with investment incentives.

This study attempts to fill a gap by investigating the theory of organizational commitment and job satisfaction in relation to various job and organizational variables as applied to Kyrgyz organizational setting. One of the purposes of this study is to examine whether the well studied relationship of antecedents of job satisfaction and organizational commitment are consistent in the case of Kyrgyzstanee employees. Using a sample of 174 workers from a two private and two public Kyrgyz Republic's organizations, it was found that US-based theories regarding antecedents, correlates, and consequences of organizational commitment are generally applicable to Kyrgyzstanee workers. The results indicate that role ambiguity, met expectations, workload found as strong predictors of commitment and distributive justice and procedural justice found as a strong predictors of satisfaction. It was found a positive correlation between distributive justice and organizational commitment, but only among private organization members. Both job satisfaction and organizational commitment were also strongly related to the employee's turnover intentions. One demographic characteristic, age was found to be a significant predictor for both work attitudes.

이 연구는 자연재해인 일본 대지진이 일본의 주식시장과 채권시장에 미친 영향을 실증적으로 분석한 연구한 논문이다. 즉 일본에 2011 년 3 월 11 일 금요일 오후 2 시 46분에 동북부 지역에 규모 9.0 의 강진과 쓰나미가 강타한 대지진이 일본의 주식시장과 채권시장에 미친 영향과 주식시장과 채권시장에 상호 미친 영향을 분석하였다. 주식시장과 채권시장을 분석하기 위하여 일본 주식시장의 지표인 NIKKEI 225지수와 채권시장의 지표인 10 년 국채이자율을 사용하여 2011 년 3 월 11 일 일본 대지진 전후에 일본 주식시장과 채권시장에 미친 영향을 분석하고 주식시장과 채권시장이 어떻게 연계되어 있으며 주식시장과 채권시장간 영향력의 정도를 분석한 연구이다. 이본 연구에 사용할 자료는 2011 년 3 월 11 일 일본 대지진 전후 총 50 개의 NIKKEI 225지수와 10 년 국채이자율 자료를 사용하여 분석하였다. 이 연구에서 사용한 차분자료로는 자연로그 수익률 자료를 사용하였다. 이 연구에 사용된 연구 모형으로는 시계열의 안정성 여부의 판정을 위한 단위근 검정과 공적분(cointegration) 검정을 하였고， 상호영향력 분석을 위한 VAR모형을 이용한 예측오차의 분산분해기법을 이용하였다. 이 연구의 중요한 결과들을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 일본 주식시장의 지표인 NIKKEI 225지수와 채권시장의 지표인 10 년 국채이자율 자료의 원시계열자료에 대한 안정성검정 결과 불안정적인 것으로 나타났고， 일본 주식시장의 지표인 NIKKEI 225 지수와 채권시장의 지표인 10 년 국채이자율 자료의 1 차 차분시계열자료에 안정성검정 결과는 모두 안정적임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 일본 주식시장의 지표인 NIKKEI 225지수와 채권시장의 지표인 10년 국채이자율 자료간에는 공적분관계가 존재하고， 일본 주식시장의 지표인 NIKKEI 225 지수와 채권시장의 지표인 10 년 국채이자율 자료간 상호영향력에 있어서 20110311 일본 대지진 이후로 10 년 국채이자율 영향이 전에 비하여 크게 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다.

This study is an empirical study on the effects between the NIKKEI 225 stock market and bond market around 20110311 earthquake in Japan. We examine the interdependence of the NIKKEI 225 stock market and bond market around 20110311 earthquake in Japan for 50 daily data from February 2011 to April 2011. We ernploy impulse response function based on VAR model as Well as variance decomposition after unit root tests and cointegration test. The finding that many macro time series may contain a unit root has spurred the development of the theory of non-stationary time series analysis. Engle and Granger (1987) pointed out that a linear combination of two ro more non-stationary series may be stationary. If such a stationary linear combination exists, the non-stationary time series are said to be cointegrated. This research showed following main results. First, from basic statistic analysis, both the NIKKEI 225 stock market and bond market around 20110311 earthquake in J apan has unit roots, Second, there is at least one cointegration between them.
