R&D software development project has different goals and different organization structure. The importance of medical device software is increasing as the quality of medical device. But the quality capability of medical device specific SW R&D project members is not mature so the CMM-I and SPICE framework is not appropriate. In this paper, we suggest quality assessment framework for medical device software process in R&D project. We identify the critical features of medical device software1) safety 2) standardization 3) continuing change. With these feature, we suggested quality assessment scheme and evaluation procedure.

The main object of this study is to offer a clue for semantic interpretation of nouns to facilitate automatic text processes. Unlike thematic roles lexically registered on verbs, the criterions needed to interpret nouns are not definable by distinctive features. Since nouns in same form can bear both generic and existential meaning, its interpretation rather depends upon logical reasoning. This paper starts with the assumption that nouns can bear generic meaning by themselves thanks to its double functions: Feature Set and Sum of individual objects. This means that bare singular or bare plural nouns are principle carriers of generic meaning if there is no hindering constraint. The determiners like articles, in this sense, play a role of semi-conductive barriers that may block the percolation of generic meaning on nouns to the upper projections. The relevant attributes that activate the barrier hood are [Predicate ± permanent], [Article ±strong Numb, ±limited Numb], [Time ±confined], [Space ±confined]. The combination of bare nouns with these features adjoined at syntax decides whether a noun properly bears generic meaning or not.

Malay speech recognition is becoming popular among Malaysian researchers. In Malay-sia, more local researchers are focusing on noise robust and accurate independent speaker speech recognition systems that use Malay language. The performance of speech recognition application under adverse noisy condition often becomes the topic of interest among speech recognition researchers in any languages. This paper presents a study of noise robust capa-bility of an improved vowel feature extraction method called Spectrum Delta (SpD). The fea-tures are extracted from both original data and noise-added data and classified using three classifiers; (i) Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), (ii) K- Nearest Neighbors (k-NN) and (iii) Multinomial Logistic Regression (MLR). Most of the dependent and independent speaker systems which use mostly multi-framed analysis, yielded accuracy between 89% to 100% for dependent speaker system and between 70% to 94% for an independent speaker. This study shows that SpD features obtained an accuracy of 92.42% to 95.11% using all the four classi-fiers on a single framed analysis which makes this result comparable to those analysed with multi-framed approach.

The iOS platform developed by Apple is the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, continually redefining what people can do with a mobile device. The Android platform developed by Google is an optimized platform for mobile devices with a perfect combination of an operating system, middleware, and application programs. Given that mobile communication companies choose different smart phone platforms, game developers must create content designed specifically for each platform or use a conversion process to provide game content to consumers. In this paper, to resolve this problem, the iOS-to-Android automatic smart game converter was designed to automatically translate game contents from the iOS platform to the Android platform for smart phones. Through the iOS-to-Android converter, resources such as images and sounds can be converted, APIs can be converted using a platform mapping engine. These and all other content conversion functions were examined. Test results indicate that the graphics, image output, sound output, and other functions of converted Android games were equivalent to those of the iOS games before conversion.

Context of contents for optimal user experience can be composed of various elements including time, spatial context, and social context. And also including global, local and personal contexts. In this paper, we proposed a representation scheme of spatial context hierarchy for optimal content services. Proposed context representation consists of time and spatial index and relations makes formal representation. Spatial Context is presented by spatial elements for spatial information includes point, line and region with elements attribute values

Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can use the web. Web accessibil-ity also benefits others including older people, and people in the rural areas. Currently, most websites have accessibility barriers that make it difficult or impossible for many people with disabilities to use the web. The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) was launched as an effort to improve the accessibility of the World Wide Web for people with disabilities. One of the roles of WAI is to develop guidelines and techniques that describe accessibility solutions for web software and web developers. A website optimized for ac-cessibility will benefit everyone and worth investment as it gains a distinct competitive advantage and adds real value to the global community. This article presents the imple-mentation of Firefox browser extension to adjust the HTML pages of existing web appli-cations based on the recommendation of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. The HTML adjustment is processed with two major steps, starting with the evaluation of HTML tags against the checkpoints defined as XPath 2.0 rules. In case the HTML ele-ment is nonconformance to WCAG 2.0, its location will then be returned to JavaScript for adjustments using the fixing rule satisfying the WCAG 2.0 success criteria. Examples of web accessibility adjustments are demonstrated. The browser extension is assessed com-pared to a web accessibility evaluation tool, for the correctness of identifying accessibility barriers.
