Soybean fatty acid, the largest byproduct in the production of soybean oil, was formulated for hand cream, oil in water emulsion base, to improve the suppleness and elasticity of skin. Several surfactants, Apifil, Gelot 64 and Tefose 2000 were used to prepare o/w emulsion. The emulsions were oby microscope. Physicochemical properties of oil in water creams containing soybean oil were observed for 3 weeks under the storage condition of 4℃ refrigerator. But viscosity was tot changed in the case of tefose 2000. In conclusion, Tefose 2000 is suitable surfactants for hand cream containing soybean oil.

For centuries, fragrance had beneficial hematological and antibody effects on humans. Aromatherapy, the use of concentration essential oils extracted from herbs, flower, and other parts of plants to treat various disease, is becoming more commonly accepted within the health service. However, there are very few published articles, which provide a sound rationale for use of aromatherapy as a medical intervention. The purpose of this study was to find a scientific examination for the effect of aromatherapy by investigating. 1)whether or not essential aroma oil caused increased Leukocyte. 2)which areas Pheripheral blood were activated of Antibody. Autoblood cell counter which is capable of monitoring and recording Leukocyte flocculation in pheripheral Blood was performed on 10 healthy adults female during exposure to essential; aroma oil(Chemomaile). The Wright staining was also performed on peripheral blood smear after exposure aroma oil. In the antibody activated study, the Leukocyte count was increased (activated) by essential oil. Additionally immumoreactive cell(lymphocyte) were detected by essential oil. The caemomile oil activated leukocyte not only the lymphocyte increasing but also the antibody reproduction of pheripheral blood.

This research aimed to examine the effect of the protease extracted from a Kiwi fruit(Apteryx australis) on the dyed hair, and reached the following results. In the change in the thickness of the dyed hair treated with a kiwi fruit protease, the thickness of the dyed hair began to rapidly decrease in the experimental group. Though the removal of soils was ascertained in the experimental group from one hour of the experiment through an optical microscope, significant changes were not ascertained in the control group. Also in the analysis of the proteolytic activity through Methylene blue dye methods, there were not significant changes in the experimental group by the 9th hour from the experiment and there were not significant changes in the control group. The brightness and the yellow grew lighter and the red grew decreased in the change of the surface color, and the dye amount of the dyed hair decreased according as the gap in the time and temperature grew bigger in the experimental group in the change of the dye concentration. In the observation through SEM, significant changes in the hair section were not ascertained though the soil removal and the scale scouring of the surface was ascertained in the experimental group. In the change of the tensile strength, the tensile strength grew weaker according as time went on. Accordingly, if treating the dye hair with kiwi fruit protease for about 30 minutes in the beauty treatment, it is expected to be used as an after treatment for the purpose of removing the soil of the cuticle as without increasing the hair damage.

After researching the contamination level of heavy metal in the hair samples from people who suffer from hair loss, it has been turned out that a careful attention should be paid not to be contaminated by aluminium(A1) and mercurial(Hg). The result of the research which was done for twelve men and women, who live in Seoul and Gyoung-gi area, analyzing the content of lead, manganese, copper, arsenic and zinc among the participants who suffer from hair loss and who do not have hair loss through inductive coupling plasma mess spectrometry in their hair samples as follows. The contents of the heavy metal in the hair from women who suffer from hair loss were respectively 1.5928 ppm, 1.6364 ppm, 111.602 ppm, 0.5028 ppm, 447.1204 ppm. Among those who do not have hair loss, the contamination levels of each heavy metal was 1.579 ppm, 0.614 ppm, 28.914 ppm, 0.541 ppm, 154.695 ppm, which proves that women who have hair loss have more heavy metal contamination. Among the men who suffer from hair loss, each contamination level was 1.276 ppm, 0.8088 ppm, 93.8282 ppm, 0.7634 ppm, 340.8388 ppm and each contamination level from the men who do not have hair loss was 0.617 ppm, 0.575 ppm, 28.342 ppm, 1.071 ppm, 147.719 ppm, which is again less than the men who have hair loss. It has been proved that the heavy metal contamination level in hair is higher among men and women who suffer from hair loss than among men and women who do not have hair loss.

This research focused on the effectiveness of permanent wave abstracted from black Bean protein. As a result of the experiment, we attained a desired effect. First, increasing amount of a prescription with Glycine max caused smooth surface and excellent surface of hair. We could see that result with an optical microscope. Second, for the thickness of a hair, a prescription with Glycine max led to be less thin in hair thickness. Third, according to an SEM observation, growing amount of a prescription with Glycine max prevented from crack of the surface of hair and made the gap of scale of the surface of hair narrow. Fourth, rising amount of a prescription caused tensile strength increase of and drop of elongation which show us the less physical damage.

This study tried to examine the impact of the magic perm lotion with a formula of Artemisia princeps var. orientalis Hara Extracts mixed with damaged hair (dyed hair and bleached hair in a rate of 1:1 with different concentrations(3%, 6% and 9%) on the hair and found the following conclusion. 1. It was confirmed that, in the change of the thickness of the hair, the higher the concentration of the formula of Artemisia princeps var. orientalis Hara Extracts was, the thickness increased. 2. In an optical microscopic observation, as the concentration of the Artemisia princeps var. orientalis Hara Extracts increased, the surface of the hair became smoother and glossier. 3. In an SEM observation, in the experiment group, the higher the concentration of the Artemisia princeps var. orientalis Hara Extracts increases, the falling-off and exfoliation of the hair surface decreased and the loss of inter-macro fibril materials at the section of the hair also decreased. 4. It was confirmed that tensile strength increased as the concentration of the extracts increased.

We living busy modern life, Our scalp and hair get easily damaged by stress as well as the environmental contamination and frequent chemical hair treatment. For this reason, people try to spend much time to be more faithful for their self- discipline like the beauty to look younger and more beautiful. This research was inquired into adults living in Jeollanam-do and customers in Mokpo 'E' hair salon. This is for offering applicable information in the actual spot based on collected and analyzed basic materials from Trichology. The result is as follows. Look trough the characteristic of the sociology of population in respondents, As they get older, the rate of sensibility gets higher, while that of oily skin gets lower. Their satisfaction is the highest, when they often get scalp treatment and after they undergo complex procedure. Respondents who had serious scalp problems preferred to go to hospital but wanted to go to beauty shops to keep up the health of scalp and relieve stress. It signifies people prefer the professional beauty treatment center and experts. In all ages, as people want to get treatment with inexpensive cost, we should make efforts to develop the ways to carry out treatment easily and systematically, also the programme application ways should be studied and implemented.

This study shows a finding on the effects of using proteases extracted from Pyrus on skin and on exfoliating the outermost layer of the skin composed of keratin. Skin diagnosis including safety tests were performed in order to evaluate the applicability of the natural substance, pyrus protease. The results of the skin test(patch test, allergy test) on twenty randomly selected people in their 20's through 50's showed outstanding outcome in sensitivity and reactivity tests which supports the safety of this natural cosmetic substance. All the subjects in clinical trials who were asked to apply pyrus protease and observe any changes on their skin using COSCAM CCL-215x40 had less amount of dead skin and had an enhanced skin condition. Moreover, a survey of satisfaction on the clinical trial participants verified that the women acknowledged the effects of pyrus protease such as reduced amount of dead skin and overall skin improvement.
