Broadcasting has a great deal of influence on our daily lives. Despite such short history of Korean broadcasting, it has come along in a great deal in variety and technology advances. It s not an overstatement to say that TV has now a permanent fixture of our daily lives with irrationally overwhelming attention. Current broadcast system started in 1961 with 3 main channels and is going through a phase of change with addition of cable and satellite TV. With such great change, it s becoming great challenge and more demand for each broadcast to find its own unique character, along with digital phones is adding to the build up of Channel Image. The examination will include the three main outlet sources in an attempt to see if its influence and how it is realistically affecting the studio make-up and formation of Image . The research materials include photographs from, but not limited to, each networks PR materials and also include personal on-site photograph materials. Through examination of these materials, focus on 3 major networks, will be able to outline the ways of expressing and differentiating their uniqueness. It will focus on the opinions of the professionals from the domestic networks. Questionnaires were formed on the basis of major networks, on the count of the influence of the Channel Image & Image Association concept in actual work settings. By help from small number of professionals in the field, prepared an analysis of each network s image and uniqueness: through interpretation, will look at each networks image and channel identity.

The research analyzed the connection between jobs and daily make-up use as well as the type of make up used. we wanted to know the knowledge of make up and the attitude towards make up single women in their twenties. 295 women from kwang-ju university and career women were studied from september to October,2006. This research material analyzed was x-black. An analysis of the connection between women and types of make-up and an analysis of multi-use and reasons why women use make up often. Here are the results: 1.The satisfaction of women who used make-up is as follow that is Happy: 39.7% Satisfactory :45.8% Un satisfactory :14.6% As you can see women are satisfied with their make up use 2. 60.3% of the study group was uneducated about make-up. 39.7% were educated. 3. Information about cosmetics were found from massmedia(27.8%) and in magazines (21.0%) 4.Color make up is used by women 23-26 years old having a high level of education cp(0.05) and whose skin is good. They use color make-up the most. 5.The expense of cosmestic bought increases with a high level of education, good health, and when the skin is in good. 6.Women in study group use make-up for beauty.7. Women get more information about type (BMI 20~25) 3.12, good health 3.11, good skin 3.20 and when the skin type is dry. 8. A positive attitude towards make-up is connected to a high level of education, good health, and good skin.

Art is a rational representation of the living of the human beings. Hair is a kind of arts and people express their feelings using Hair Dress. Human beings has been doing creative activity continuously, this creative activity has been incorporated into the creation of hair style. Hair style created continuously represents the culture of the era. The main reason for studying regarding hair style at the time of the romanticism in 19C is because the hair style of the 19C reflects hair style of the modern times which is popular in 21C. The hair style of the 19C showed the circumstances of civilization at that time and the hair style of the 19C was brilliant and also simple simultaneously. The hair style of the romanticism has been changed. Brilliant hair style of the 18C was disappeared and the use of wig was decreased. Main hair style of the 19C was the curled hair using her own hair. Ribbon and hairband matching with costume were decorated around the hair. The appearance of the free up styled hair is a kind of symptoms returning to 19C. We need to study about the style of the tressed hair which has been developing creatively.

The modern times is the time of images and images technologically reproduced by public media, such as films, TV, advertising, and magazines, provide more convincing reproduction of reality than reality and comprise new values and meanings. With the development of technology and science, video makeup is developing as special makeup, computer graphics, and Animatronics. Special makeup, computer graphics, and Animatronics take a big part of video production technology. Special makeup, which is the theme of this study, creates visual images and styles of characters in video narratives by artificially altering or reinforcing faces and bodies of actors/actresses. By doing so, it visualizes personalities and roles of characters and produces socio-cultural meaning of visual media. The purpose of this study is to understand special makeup as a means of visual expression that takes a large portion of video media and to broaden the creative perspectives of special makeup artists who create performance arts in between actors and their characters. Studies on special makeup generally discuss theoretical knowledge (basic technical aspects or instructions on product use) and rarely discuss how special makeup is actually used onsite. Thus, this study will record preliminary fabrication process over a four-month period, actual methods of special makeup used in onsite fabrication, and effective trouble-shooting responses, to share practical information on special makeup.

TV productions are devide to two categories such as a drama and a non-drama. These are classified soap operas, comics, actions, love of family, adventures, mystery, history, SF, institutes, music, fears, news etc. The make-up has to be appropriately expressed for each work. In this study, the properties and methods of make-up was observed in sitcom “Hi, Franchesca” that was producted by MBC. And Make-up was examined by comparing sitcom comedy to sitcom drama and was tried to make-up fit for charater. So It could be expressed to a trait of character very well. Finally, It was emphasized that the importance of the role of make-up in sitcom as nonverbal communication, as well as script of verbal communication.
