In this study, we invested the effect of Reynoutria elliptica on hair surface damages. The possibility of colors from the natural plant extract is limitless. However, it is difficult to vary the utilization possibilities of colors to increase the value of natural coloring as well as other disadvantages of easy decomposing, and the inability to collect them year-round. However, the natural coloring is harmless to human body, can minimize the hair damages, and can bring out a deeper and more subtle colors than the chemical dyes, which is used as the natural hair dye products with increasing use to replace the chemical hair dyes with many side effects. Therefore, the natural coloring of Reynoutria elliptica is extracted to be used in hair dye to examine the damages to scalp as an attempt to suggest the possibility of natural hair dye products and also expand the utilization possibilities of natural extracts. When observing the scales on the hair surface with electron microscope for comparison with the hair before dyeing, dyeing with reynoutria dyeing showed shiny characteristics after pigmentation on the hair but other damaged areas were healthy without any uniqueness, which has confirmed the potentialities of the natural herbal extracts.

This study was focused on development of various designs such as nail art tips, pedicure art tips and accessory earrings that can be performed in a short time using artificial nails. The study was conducted to maximize artistic value of nail art and for nailists to break away from simple care and coloring treatments. As the method, ornamentalist aspects and symbolic meanings of Gustav Klimt’s painting patterns were analyzed and applied to nail art design. Results of this study are as follows. First, the literature on nail art was studied to understand the concept of nail art and investigate the prospect, numerous expressive techniques and transition process of nail art. Second, various designs were analogized from household items that appear in Klimt’s paintings through childhood background of Klimt, techniques of the times and artistic characteristics of his works. Third, ornamental patterns of Klimt’s paintings like plant and animal motif were applied with symbolic patterns like circle, triangle and quadrilateral to create harmony with nail art objects. Nail art tips, pedicure tips and earrings were made using two-dimensional art techniques such as hand painting, U.V gel and crack art, and three-dimensional art techniques such as jewelry art and deco nail art.

A lot of research on the mutual relation with Minimalism in the area of the Beauty is in progress but still insufficient. In this study, we focus on the makeup in the minimalist point of view and analysis expression characteristics. Therefore this study has consideration of the artistic, social background about minimalism in particular focused on the art with expressive association and take a look at the formative aspect so with this perspectives of expression characteristics analyze the overall image and presentation elements of makeup and consider about mutual relation accordingly. Minimalism which is minimized in a form and format can be ironic because the range of recognition is gradually expanding endlessly in the inner side. Thus in this study has significance for having clues that Minimalism organize a formatting or style based on leaded expression characteristics in makeup.

With studying the surrealism which pursues the liberation of the human spirit, I have examined how the surrealistic representation techniques have developed up until now. In order to do so, this study has been conducted on the basis that the surrealism could be divided into the abstract surrealism using the “Automatism” techniques of a surrealism artist, Werner Haftman and the concrete surrealism using the “Depaysement” techeniques. “Automatism” is a representation techniques of surrealism embodying the unconscious without intention, on the other hand, “Depaysement” is the one with a certain intention of the artist. I believe that creation activities derived from ideas of those representation techniques and researches for a source of art are the creatures of the combination of our lives, art and spirit to combine with each other, and, at the same time, have great significance to the contemporary art.

The Faces have many informations which represent race, age, sex, personality, feeling, emotion, psychology, a mental state, a healthy condition, etc. If we pay attention to the age change are remarkable feature such as eyelid’s droop, cheek’s droop, forehead’s furrow, falling-out hair, becoming gray hair etc. This paper propose that, we extract these characteristic component from the facial image and then assume the age, the method of facial image synthesis to varied age. Feature components are obtined by dividing face shape and face color and then doing the principle component analysis to them. We assume the age of facial image by comparing the extracted feature component to facial image and obtaining age varied synthesis image by adding and subtracting feature component to the facial image. As the simulation result, we have obtained the age varied facial image of high quality. Using this system to analyze the makeup before and after the age of information been made for the makeup exactly what will be used as a means of verification.
