The constituent elements of artistic beauty in art design represent the expressive forms of design art and the externalization of artistic innovation. Within the realm of contemporary art design, jewelry design, as an art form integrating aesthetics, craftsmanship, and functionality, exhibits unique manifestations of its beauty components. This paper employs contemporary art jewelry design as a specific case study, utilizing artistic beauty theory as its analytical framework and adopting the case study methodology to delve into the artistic beauty inherent within this field. The analysis systematically examines six core elements—line, material, color, form, structure, and emotion— through the lens of representative works, elucidating how these elements interact to collectively shape the artistic appeal of contemporary art jewelry. The findings reveal that contemporary art jewelry design transcends the traditional singular pursuit of material value. Instead, it manifests the multidimensionality and profundity of artistic beauty through formal innovation, material experimentation, chromatic expression, structural exploration, and potent emotional narratives. This study not only deepens the theoretical understanding of the composition of beauty in art design but also provides aesthetic insights for the innovative practice of contemporary jewelry design, highlighting the pivotal role of artistic beauty in bridging functional requirements and spiritual experiences.

This study explores the impact of cultural identity on the acceptance of Huangmei Opera among Generation Z, with a specific focus on the moderating effects of gender and educational attainment, as well as the mediating roles of cultural engagement, attitude, and cultural pride. A survey was conducted with 506 Chinese university students aged 18-28, and SPSS-based mediation and moderation analyses were applied to examine how demographic factors interact with cultural identity to influence the acceptance of traditional cultural forms. The study aims to understand how cultural identity and demographic characteristics, such as gender and education, shape the younger generation’s engagement with Huangmei Opera. The findings reveal a positive relationship between cultural identity and the acceptance of Huangmei Opera, with significant moderating effects of gender and education. Specifically, females and individuals with higher educational levels demonstrate stronger acceptance of Huangmei Opera. Furthermore, cultural engagement, attitude, and cultural pride partially mediate the relationship between cultural identity and the acceptance of this traditional art form. These mediating factors help explain how cultural identity influences the acceptance of Huangmei Opera. The results provide practical insights into how traditional cultural heritage can be more effectively promoted and preserved in the digital age, particularly among younger generations. This research contributes to the broader understanding of how cultural identity functions in the preservation of intangib.

The dance drama Only This Green blends traditional culture with modern innovation, drawing its inspiration from the ancient Chinese painting A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains. By placing the painting’s cultural symbols at its core, the production brings to life the deep aesthetic value and unique charm of Chinese heritage through the medium of stage art. Through the combination of modern stage technology and creative direction, the work successfully connects traditional art with modern audiences, setting a new standard for cultural inheritance and artistic reinvention. This study examines the strengths and communication strategies that have made Only This Green stand out in the cultural market, using the frameworks of Unique Selling Proposition (USP)) theory, brand image theory and story marketing theory. It outlines a cultural marketing strategy and a plan for aligning the work with an adaptable business model. Through precise branding, emotional storytelling and diversified business extension, the study provides actionable recommendations for the show’s continued growth at home and abroad and for its role in keeping traditional culture alive in a global context.

In the face of global challenges such as resource scarcity, environmental pollution, and climate change, leveraging technological innovation to promote sustainable development has become a critical imperative. The metaverse, as an emerging digital ecosystem that integrates artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, virtual reality (VR), and the Internet of Things (IoT), is reshaping human interaction and presenting new development opportunities. However, sustainability issues such as high energy consumption, data privacy concerns, and social equity have also raised widespread attention. This study explores how the metaverse can facilitate sustainable development in key areas including energy, transportation, water resource management, food supply chains, and environmental protection. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the potential impact of metaverse technologies on sustainable development and assess their applicability across various industries. Through literature reviews and case analyses, this paper examines the real-world application of the metaverse in different domains, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The findings reveal that the metaverse holds considerable potential for reducing resource waste, improving efficiency, and optimizing decision-making—particularly through digital twins for power grid optimization, carbon footprint reduction, intelligent transportation systems, enhanced water management, and transparent food supply chains. Nonetheless, the high energy demand—especially in blockchain and cloud computing—remains a significant challenge. Furthermore, issues of technological equity and data privacy require additional research and policy intervention. In conclusion, while the metaverse is positioned to play a vital role in driving sustainable development, its potential adverse effects must not be ignored. Future research should focus on green computing technologies, the development of low-carbon blockchain systems, and the establishment of policy and regulatory frameworks to ensure that the metaverse contributes positively to sustainability.

This study examines the differential effects of platform empowerment on the performance of e-commerce firms through the lens of value co-creation. Drawing upon four core dimensions of platform empowerment—technical support, traffic support, data sharing, and brand endorsement—this research develops an integrated mediated–moderated framework. Value co-creation is posited as the primary mediating mechanism, while e-commerce business model typologies (B2B, B2C, and C2C) function as contextual moderators. Synthesizing contemporary theoretical and empirical insights, the proposed framework elucidates how platform-empowered interactions among firms, users, and digital infrastructures shape innovation capabilities, market competitiveness, and brand outcomes. The findings contribute to the platform economy literature by offering a nuanced understanding of empowerment-performance linkages and yield practical implications for platform governance and strategic alignment across diverse e-commerce models.

Low end manufacturing industry is located at the bottom of the value chain due to its low added value, high dependence on processing and trade, labor-intensive production, and significant product homogenization. It faces multiple severe challenges such as lagging digital production and operation level, tight profit margins, and continuously rising production factor costs. Based on the analysis of the current situation of low-end plastic product factories, this article proposes to shape brand image through new media platforms, enhance market awareness and competitiveness; Explore and practice innovative industrial collaborative development models to promote optimal resource allocation; And establish a digital management system, empowered by technology, to enhance production efficiency and management level. Through these strategies, low-end plastic product factories can gradually achieve transformation and upgrading in a complex economic environment. Future research should quantitatively evaluate the specific impact of digital management systems and comparatively analyze the scalability of collaborative models across different industrial sectors.
