Background/Objectives: This research aspires to develop context-based enrichment activities that will make an interrelation between the concepts taught in Grade 9 Mathematics in Angat National High School at Taboc, Angat, Bulacan to the lives of the students. Methods/Statistical analysis: The sample of the study included 35 students. Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach can be used to address this study. Using the survey questionnaires, results revealed the topics that has perceived low relevance to the students were, law of sine, law of cosine, angle of elevation and depression, quadratic inequalities, applications on quadratic function, equations transformable into quadratic equation, oblique triangles, trigonometric ratios and special angle, solving quadratic equations by completing the square and graphs of quadratic function, and these are the topics contained in the enrichment activities. Findings: The students also replied that there is a need to come up with an instructional material that will connect these concepts to their lives and to improve their knowledge, abilities and skills, to monitor their assimilation of information, and to contribute to their overall development and upbringing. Improvements/Applications: The evaluation of the instructors to the enrichment activities scored an admissible mark and was complimented as useful and applicable.

Background/Objectives: As the fourth industrial age begins, research on speech recognition is actively being carried out. Methods/Statistical analysis: However, since speech recognition is developed based on the standard language, the recognition rate is lower for people using dialects and unusual tones. Because of these problems, it is more difficult to gather data because seniors and dialect users do not attempt to recognize speech. Improvements/Applications: Therefore, to solve this problem, we have added a specific database and configured a speech recognition system that can be used by people who use dialects and unusual tones.

Background/Objectives: Most colleges and universities in the Philippines consider acquiring a speech laboratory equipment a tough matter to manage due to the prices and after-sales support. Methods/Statistical analysis: Many speech laboratory equipments from abroad exist but would not serve for a long time, particularly in terms of durability and maintainability. Findings: The researcher developed a digital innovation in developing speech laboratory equipment that suitable for the end-user to operate the system quickly using a personal computer (PC). An interface was connecting serial communication via USB port to a Fuzzy Logic Controller to facilitate the switching of speaker and microphone in the student cubicles/headsets in real audio while in peer-to-peer communication. Moreover, the monitor or console of the teacher operates in a more comfortable and user-friendly manner. When the teacher clicks the desired function or button, the Fuzzy Logic Controller module responds and processes the command to enable or disable the student's headset. On the student's side, there is a call button function to highlight the teacher console. Improvements/Applications: Hence, the system is maintainable and flexible that can even run on Windows Operating Systems and Linux.

Background/Objectives: There is an impact of multimedia on engineering students. They use interactive multimedia to simulate scenarios in computer applications, electronics, and later implement and calibrate their designs in an actual environment. Architecture students use interactive multimedia for design presentations. Methods/Statistical analysis: This study focuses on the development of the Interactive 3D Directory for the University of La Salette. As Computer Engineers, we want to showcase our skills and knowledge to the locality and to help the end-users, i.e., visitors, new students, and transferees, to locate buildings and departments in this University. We used Unity3d, c# programming, and SketchUp to develop this project. This study used the survey method to acquire related data. Questionnaires were floated before and after the implementation of the system. Findings: The results found out that most of the time, new students, transferees, visitors ask directions and feel the need for a system that gives accurate directions. The results also found out that most of the respondents agree that the developed system was effective and easy to use. Improvements/Applications: Based on the study findings, the researchers suggest that the administration introduce the established program on all of the region's high school campuses to help visitors, transferees, and new students identify offices, facilities, and departments.
