Study on the Storage Virtualization Technology for Smart Work Service in Mobile Environment

Background/Objectives: As the paradigm changes with technological advancement and information society, next-generation products that can access information anytime, anywhere through mobile Internet devices through Smart work are being released. In particular, in the coronavirus era, there is a lot of interest in the introduction of Smart work. Methods/Statistical analysis: Companies that only pursued work in the office tend to support a free and creative work environment that goes beyond temporal and spatial restrictions. In addition, we are hoping for collaboration, efficiency, and organizational innovation through smart work communication. The introduction of Smart work by companies can be expected to have a positive impact on companies. Findings: Therefore, in this paper, we intend to provide a safe Smart work service through research and application of storage virtualization technology. In other words, a Smart work service was designed by securing the technology for operating the latest operating system based on mobile virtualization technology and storage virtualization technology, which is the core of mobile security. Improvements/Applications: The storage virtualization-based mobile work service proposed in this paper can be used for mobile terminals and special security-enhanced terminals that require high security in mobile environments. In addition, it can be used for mobile financial services for safe payment/payment such as electronic payment and internet banking, and prevents corporate information leakage and illegal access by unauthorized users in work environments such as Smart work using mobile terminals.

A Study on the Prospect of Using loMT for Disease Prevention and Management

Background/objectives: With the development of IT technology and interdisciplinary convergence technology, interest in medical services, healthcare, bioinformatics, and public management is increasing. It is changing from passive disease management to active disease management using IoT devices. Methods/Statistical analysis: Due to the paradigm shift in the medical and health industries due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, interest in disease prevention including disease management is increasing. Research on the Internet of Medical Things is being actively conducted as a method for such disease prevention and management services. Therefore, in this paper, we will examine medical ICT devices, healthcare devices, and IoMT in the IoT environment, and propose an efficient use method of IoMT for disease prevention and management and a prospect for this. Findings: In order to smoothly operate disease prevention and management based on the IoMT environment, problems such as expansion of ICT infrastructure, development of the system, and training of experts are expected to be solved. Improvements/Applications: In addition, in the use of IoMT, reorganization of policies and legal systems, improvement of security technology and awareness of personal information, and user consent for sensitive information are tasks to be resolved.

Analysis of Cogging Torque Reduction of IPMSM applying Skew Method

Background/Objectives: In a rotating machine such as Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM), which is widely used in industrial fields. The reluctance torque is generated by the difference when magnetic energy varies according to the relative position of the pole and slot in a slot shaped motor. The reluctance torque acts as a torque ripple in electrical equipment and causes noise and vibration. It generated by the influence of the slot in the permanent magnet device is called cogging torque, and a skew was applied as a method to reduce the cogging torque to analyze the characteristics of the motor. In this paper, we analyze the back electromotive force and torque characteristics of IPMSM motors applying 3-stage skew among various cogging torque reduction methods, and reduce torque ripple in the instantaneous and continuous sections of the motor through Finite Element Method (FEM). Findings: Therefore, in this paper, we discuss how to apply skew among many analysis methods for reducing cogging torque. It shows the procedure for reducing cogging torque by applying skew from the comparative model. Finally, it analyzes the characteristics of the existing model and the model to which the skew is applied, and indicates how much it has increased. Improvements/Applications: By applying a three-stage skew to the model applied in this paper, the effect of noise and vibration can be reduced through cogging torque reduction.

Raining State Study using Gaussian Mixture Model

Background/Objectives: In this study, we intend to extract a characteristic study of the raining situation based on the GMM (Gaussian mix model) within the raining image and perform the raining phenomenon in real time. Methods/Statistical analysis: Since the Gaussian Mixture Model is a good model for expressing natural phenomena, the Gaussian Mixture Model was used in many fields. In this study, an OpenCV library provided by a Python program was used to analyze rain video using CV2 library. Findings: A test video image object was created, and the frame size was set to create a gray scale image and an image for accumulating color frames. A video frame was acquired, and an average image was calculated using the accumulated images for color image frames and gray scale images, and displayed in a window. An error rate occurs during the initial image analysis, but the accuracy increases over time. By analyzing the raining image, the motion of the rain was detected using the findObjectAndDraw() function to remove the noise. In the image of the detected rain, it was marked with a red bounding rectangle to confirm the rain. Improvements/Application s: In this study, a Gaussian mixture model was used, but the K-NN model was applied to make a more accurate analysis through comparison between various models.
