Background/Objectives: The Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a chronic liver disease that affects nearly a quarter of the world population. Recent studies have shown that there is a close relationship between liver lipid-titrated 17β Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase Type 13(HSD17B13)protein and NAFLD. At the same time, the purification of HSD has been trying to find better conditions and methods, at present, the HSD protein separation and purification technology is incomplete, the cost is high, the purity is low, the purification quantity is small and so on. This paper first reviewed the research progress of Steatosis and some basic properties about HSD, such as HSD expression site, Lipid titration function, in vitro catalytic substrates, and the relationship between HSD and liver diseases.. Methods/Statistical analysis: The optimization of HSD purification method is considered be of great help to the further study of its structure and function, so this research put forward two hypotheses to explore its effect on the purification of HSD. The first is to change the kind of tag when expressing plasmid in E. coli, so as to change the adsorption degree of protein with corresponding group and beads, and the second is to change the concentration of different components in Wash Buffer, the aim is to find the best concentration for removing foreign protein and maintaining the adsorption capacity of HSD. Findings: The purity of HSD is closely related to tag species and Wash Buffer concentration in different experimental groups, his-Binding Buffer with 0.5% sodium deoxycholate powder added and Wash Buffer with Tris-HCl 50 mM, NACL 300 mM, Imidazole 40 mM for each component are used. Improvements/Applications: After the better purification effect, the higher purity HSD can pave the way for the future study of its potential substrate and mechanism of action.

Background/Objective. The COVID-19 has accelerated the conduct of online classes around the world. To administer distant learning, schools are now relying on learning management systems. With the problems of the abrupt shift to an online modality, there must be measures in place to cluster students’ characteristics in order to assist their learning requirements, struggles, and academic performances. Methods/Statistical Analysis. Based on Delone and McLean’s IS Success model, this study used quantitative approaches and exploratory techniques to explain the higher education learners’ clusters. From March to April 2021, 303 samples were randomly selected from students participating in online programs at a higher education school on Taft Avenue in Manila. Sex, school, frequency of use, time duration, and experience with the LMS were all factors in the study. Both Hierarchical Cluster Analysis and K-Means Cluster Analysis were used to classify the samples. Findings. The results revealed that there are four clusters formed which are labeled as: service-oriented, system quality-oriented, holistic-oriented, and LMS-averse. Based on the results, information quality has the greatest influence. Since the clustering analysis is non-inferential and it is used as an exploratory technique, the researchers do not guarantee a unique solution as this depends on the elements of the subjects and the variables used. Improvements/Applications. The academic stakeholders can use the cluster analysis to make the appropriate interventions to improve the online course content and enhance the students’ academic performance. Some of these appropriate interventions include creating course policies, planning the necessary training of teachers and students, and developing the online delivery of the lessons.

Background/Objectives: This study was conducted to examine the importance of corporate social responsibility in apparel companies and to investigate the impact of corporate social responsibility in apparel on corporate image, consumer goodwill and purchase intentions. The study will provide theoretical guidance for the future development of apparel companies, while emphasising the important role of CSR. Methods/Statistical analysis: This study used the questionnaire method and the data was analysed using SPSS26 to confirm the hypotheses of this study. Findings: The findings show that social responsibility of apparel companies has a positive impact on corporate image, consumer goodwill; corporate image has a positive impact on consumer goodwill; and both corporate image and consumer goodwill have a positive impact on purchase intention. Improvements/Applications: This study confirms the importance of corporate social responsibility in the apparel industry, but given the limited number of respondents in this study, and the limited number of regions, future research could be more informative if additional demographic variables such as regions and occupations were taken into account. Also, more tests can be conducted on different variables in future studies to obtain more comprehensive and better results.

Background/Objectives: As the aging of the population becomes more serious, it is necessary to focus on how to improve the quality of life of the elderly in old age as well as solving the problem of the fertility rate. Although the design level of public space in Silver Town is different, a good Silver Town space may be preferred by the elderly and help to ensure psychological and physiological health. Methods/Statistical analysis: The purpose of this study is to derive the design characteristics of the elderly silver town public space through investigation and analysis. Findings: In order to achieve the purpose of the study, research methods such as review of existing literature, case analysis, and expert research were conducted. Through case analysis and expert interview survey, Silver Town public space design characteristics according to physiological factors, psychological factors, and social factors were summarized, and the final Silver Town public space design characteristics for each factor were derived through an expert 5-point scale evaluation survey. Improvements/Applications: As a result of the study, the Silver Town public space design characteristic according to the physiological factors of the elderly was 'safety', and the Silver Town public space design characteristic according to the psychological factors was 'Ease of use'. Lastly, the silver town public space design characteristic according to the social factors of the elderly is 'participation possibility'.
