Background/Objectives: Internetization at the communication and channel levels impels many companies to make efforts in building themselves as a trading platform, where a huge bulk of buyers and sellers can carry on transactions. Methods/Statistical analysis: In this paper, by summarizing the critical factors of logistics information system (LIS) quality, a theoretical model was established to resolve the factors that influence customer satisfaction. In this process, customer satisfaction theory (CS) is applied to be a moderator. And then based on the PLS structural equation model, an empirical study was conducted. Findings: The results presented that making full use of Internet of things technology to accelerate the process of reengineering and standardization while guaranteeing the information quality to make contribution to the improvement of customer satisfaction. At the meantime, the establishment of service quality evaluation system in the context of Internet of things can help logistics enterprises to improve the service quality, promote the enterprises’ competitiveness, and realize the collaboration management of enterprises’ services. Improvements/Applications: At the meantime, the establishment of service quality evaluation system in the context of Internet of things can help logistics enterprises to improve the service quality, promote the enterprises’ competitiveness, and realize the collaboration management of enterprises’ services.

Background/Objectives: The study sought to investigate technology adoption and use of learning management system (LMS) in a university. The study included antecedents of behavioral intention (BI) namely: performance expectancy (PE), effort expectancy (EE), social influence (SI), and facilitating conditions (FC) and its relationship with actual use LMS. Methods/Statistical analysis: The research used self-administered on-line survey method and actual use based on data registers from LMS. Random samples were drawn from the faculty population who are using LMS. A multivariate statistical analysis and factor analysis were applied to find structural relationship among the variables and latent constructs (structural equation modeling). The instrument registered high internal consistency and validity. Findings: The results revealed that PE, EE, SI significantly explained the variation in BI. The BI and FC are not significantly related to LMS actual usage. Overall, there is a strong positive inter-correlation among the BI,PE, EE, and SI. Moderating effects were found in age and experience in the relationship between FI and actual usage; between EE and BI. Improvements/Applications: Data suggested a strong faculty behavioral intention to use LMS, but this did not translate into a substantial level of actual usage.

Background/Objectives: The present invention generally relates to a driver’s assessment and training simulator system designed for the improvement of the driver’s screening and qualification procedures of TESDA prior to the license issuance and release in LTO. Methods/Statistical analysis: Driving Assessment and Simulation Hub (HUB) would like to propose a solution to preparing problems by designing, developing and implementing an Automated Driver's Assessment and Driving Simulator System. Findings: The present invention discloses an electronic system comprising three (3) main software components specifically, an electronic driving knowledge examination system with biometrics registration validation feature and touchscreen terminals, a driving simulation testing system with automatic scoring and up to thirty (30) heads per hour testing capacity, and a decision support system for the evaluation of the two exam results. Improvements/Applications: Driving Assessment and Simulation Hub (DASH) project team is making the Philippines a happy and safe place to drive in.

Background/Objectives: Helmet for Road Hazard Warning and Wireless Motorcycle Authentication was designed for the safety and prevention of accidents for motorcycle riders by making them wear a helmet before driving, automatically warns them about the road hazards that the riders encounters, and sending SMS to the emergency contact numbers of the rider to call medical help immediately when an accident occurs. Methods/Statistical analysis: The project consists of two devices: the Helmet and the Navigation Device. Navigation Device equipped with Raspberry Pi 3 B+ as the main controller, which was connected on the LCD Touch Screen that displays wherein the user can delete the saved audio files and edit numbers that receives the SMS in case of emergency. Arduino Uno was connected to the Raspberry Pi via USB serial where the GSM Module was connected for texting, Piezo Vibration Sensor for calculation of the impact to identify an accident, and the Alarm for the rider to notify to wear the helmet. Findings: On the Helmet Device, it was equipped with an Arduino Nano that serves as the main controller of the Copper Switch to detect if the rider is wearing a helmet or not. Improvements/Applications: The Helmet Device has a microphone and speaker for the recording and automatically plays the road hazards encountered by the rider. Dash cams for recording of the front and rear view of the rider for future evidence. Both Helmet and Navigation devices work in synchronization using Bluetooth modules.

Background/Objectives: Severe atmospheric phenomenon decreases agricultural productivity. Recent years have witnessed a confusion of IoT answers helpful to varied application domain names. This paper presents an occult IoT observation post platform for good farming. This paper presents an occult IoT observation post platform for good farming. Methods/Statistical analysis: Specifically, the researcher tends to design a frost protection system with early warning system that collects from the deployed devices on the farmland in time period and provides frost forecasts and an early warning for the farmers using SMS based and Web-based monitoring for the weather stations. Findings: The planned system will effectively facilitate boost agricultural productivity by providing farmers with a lot of accurate frost forecast, thereby reducing the chance of frost harm. Improvements/Applications: The proposed framework is made by three parts, the data acquisition network, the climate figure service which goes about as a complementary source of data and the data processing framework. For the data acquisition network, an initial prototype has been built, deployed and tested in a real plot.
