현대인들은 시각적 욕구가 다양해지고 개성화되면서 감성적인 수준의 향상은 예술과 디자인 분야의 관심이 증폭되었으 며 그로 인해 미용 또한 단순한 아름다움을 표현하고자 하는 디자인이 아닌 인간의 내적 외적인 자기표현수단으로 중요 하게 부각되어 미용디자인과 예술의 융합은 앞으로도 지속적으로 요구될 것이다. 따라서 예술은 네일 디자인의 창작에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다고 볼 수 있으며 특히 조형적 요소 중 점, 선, 면, 색채는 네일 아트에도 매우 중요한 디자인의 요소로 작용하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 네일아트와 조형예술의 통합을 네일 디자인에 적용하고자 추상주의의 선구자이 며 신조형주의의 이론을 확립한 몬드리안의 작품을 조형적으로 분석하고 수직, 수평선과 삼원색의 모티브를 응용하여 네일아트 디자인에 접목하여 제작하고자하였다. 이러한 디자인 발상은 좀 더 차별화된 네일아트디자인에 대한 요구와 네일아트 디자인 발전에 기여할 것이라 사료된다.

In modern society, people’s visual desires have become more unique and diverse. The improvement of the level of sensitivity has increased the interest in art and design, which has resulted in design targeted cosmetology or the expression of beauty emerging as a self-expressive means of both inner and outer beauty. Therefore, it is anticipated that demand for the convergence between cosmetology design and art will continue. For this reason, it appears that art will continue to have a significant influence on the creation of nail designs. Among plastic elements, point, line plane, and color play significant roles in nail art. Due to these circumstances, this study attempted to apply the integration of nail art and plastic art to nail design. For this, it analyzed the works of Piet Mondrian, a pioneer of abstract painting, who established the theory of Neo-Plasticism and applied horizontal and vertical lines and three primary colors to nail design. It is expected that such design ideation would contribute to the request for more differentiated nail designs and the development of nail art.

In the modern times, people’s desire for beauty has increased with improvements in cultural standards after rapid economic growth. As a result, affection-centered visual needs have become more diverse. Increase in such sensitivity level has brought a great attention to art and design even in daily life. Nail design has also expanded its realm as a genre of formative art by releasing a wide variety of artistic styles. With a goal of satisfying the diversity and personalization of these visual needs, therefore, this study has attempted to expand design ideation by suggesting decorative art movement-based nail styles. For this, decorative characteristics were analyzed and used for nail styling by reviewing the artworks of Rene Lalique, the most celebrated art deco designer in art nouveau. Art nouveau is the most popularly recognized art movement during the Belle Epoque, which has almost all art elements that modern nail design needs. This study proposes diversity in ideation for nail design by suggesting nail styles with 5 artworks as motives.

The desire for the women’s beauty became a motive power to carry out the development of the beauty industry, and according to this development, the nail area also has grown. The nail market is generally classified as the nail care and the nail art. The nail care is related to the hand care in order to prevent the easy tear and break of nail depending on the personal environment and nutritional status, whereas the nail art is the area for creating the unique and splendid designs. The studies on the objects from basic design to expression ways are in processing, and the nail artists also are studying the nail art works. The object of this study is researching the basic design of the nail art using the hand paintings and the design factors appearing at the figurative beauty of nail design using hand paintings and Greek costumes. Studying the nail designs based on the design factors, we hope the nail art to become an important part of the total coordination and this study to contribute to the recognition of the nail art as an independent art. We also hope this study to be used as a design material for the nail art area and to contribute to establishment of the basic design on the nail art area.

In order to develop nail art design, theoretical consideration was provided according to literature and previous studies. In addition, five stained glass works applicable to nail art were selected and analyzed. Based on them as a motif, total five nail design works applied with stained glass technique were manufactured. The work named <Mystery of Life> embodied the creation of light and water in the beginning, expressing live motions from a flow of light. Expressing a bending figure of lines and circular-shaped structure, it used many types of colors to emphasize splendid image and also expressed the beauty of curve as a part of characteristics. The work titled <Let Me Be Fisherman Catching You All> expressed a simple structure as well as staid colors as it was an artistic work with simple but geometric expression. It has emphasized the possibly simple art by adjusting the thickness of lines and expressed abstract art in the nail that Alwin Schmid intended to represent in his work. The work named <Window of Magnolia> expressed naturally shaped lines and petals as an art-nouveau work in a form that restrained from using the color as much as possible and also almost not painted on glasses. Full tip made a splendid flower in three-dimensional structure and expressed it. The work titled <14 Places> more resolutely used colors through partition of color and light. Detailed shape was omitted, and it was expressed with Christian symbolic of colors. Ordeal of Jesus, the world of heaven, revival of Jesus, light and truth, and life obtained by overcoming death were expressed in purple, blue, red, yellow, and green, respectively, on the nail art as a part of Christian message contained with colors. The work named <Oh, My Jesus, My Jesus> combined cropped lines and shape of Korean words in the stained glass expressing major phrases in bible or parts of prayer in Korean words instead of describing particular shapes.

This study focused on development of diversified designs including Nail Art Tip, Pedicure Art Tip and Accessory Earing that could be utilized by nailists in a short period of time, breaking away from simple care and color coordinating procedure, in order to maximize artistic efficiency (effective value) of nail art and to ensure development of domestic nail industry and for this objective, by understanding and analyzing painting pattern and its symbolic implication of Wassily Kandinsky, it has been applied for nail art design. When summarizing the result of study into three categories by this researcher, it is as follows. First, diversified nail design has been composed with taking growth background of Kandinsky, historical technique and characteristics of his works as motif. Second, a set of nail tip, fedi tip, earing and even key holder have been manufactured by applying nail art techniques including hand painting, a plain art technique, and spangle, a cubic art technique, through utilization of nail art object such as chain, line parts and glitter with taking composition by intentionally arranging geometric form instead of realistic form that is a characteristic of abstraction, and non-figurative painting of improvisation type that expressed just a simple uncontrolled feeling as motif.

목적: 본 연구는 미니멀리즘과 맥시멀리즘의 조형성을 활용한 네일아트 아이디어를 통해 창의적이고 독창적인 네일아트 디자인을 제시하고자 한다. 방법: 미니멀리즘과 맥시멀리즘의 조형성을 활용한 네일 디자인 제작을 제작하기 위하여 문헌적 고찰과 사례연 구를 통한 이론적 연구와 더불어 실증적 연구를 하였다. 또한 선행연구와 실증연구를 통해 확보한 사진들을 통해 미니멀리즘과 맥 시멀리즘의 조형성을 보여주는 디자인 사례를 분류하고 사진자료를 분석하였다. 결과: 미니멀리즘과 맥시멀리즘의 조형성을 보여 주는 디자인 사례를 분석하여 여성의 일생이란 주제로 제작한 작품은 탄생, 성장, 결혼, 육아, 황혼으로 선정하여 제작하였다. 결론: 본 연구는 네일 디자인이 현대인의 다양한 니즈와 욕구를 충족시키는데 도움이 되기를 바라며, 조형성의 활용이 네일아트 분야에 국한 되지 않고 생활 전반의 트렌드로 자리 잡은 만큼 다양한 분야에서 이를 발전시키고 기획하는데 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있기 를 기대하며 네일 디자인에 다양한 기법으로 연상되는 이미지를 표현하고, 스토리를 부여함으로써 창의적이고 독창적인 디자인 창 출에 무한한 가능성을 부여할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Purpose: This study aims to present creative and original nail art design through ideas inspired by the formulation of minimalism and maximalism. Methods: For nail design production that utilizes minimalism and maximalism, we conducted both empirical and theoretical research through literature review and case studies. Moreover, through prior and empirical researches, photos were obtained for classifying and analyzing design cases that demonstrate how minimalism and maximalism are expressed. Result: Through analyzing design cases portraying the formulation of minimalism and maximalism, the works produced under the theme of a woman's life were selected and produced through the following stages: birth, growth, marriage, parenting, and twilight. Conclusion: This study confirms that nail design can be used as an important production material in the developmental and planning processes in various fields, because it is not limited to the nail art field but has become a trend in life. Furthermore, it can be used as a concept associated with various techniques and creative and original designs can be created through storytelling.

目的: 本研究旨在透过极简主义与极大主义的构想，呈现创意与原创的美甲艺术设计。方法: 对极简主义和极大 主义的指甲设计作品，通过文献回顾和案例分析，进行实证和理论研究。此外，通过前期和实证研究，获得了 展示极简主义和最大主义如何表达的设计案例分类和分析的照片。结果: 通过对极简主义和极大主义的设计案例 的分析，选择了以女性生命为主题的作品，并将其分为出生、成长、婚姻、养育和黄昏等几个阶段进行创作。 结论: 指甲设计不仅局限于指甲艺术领域，而且已经成为一种生活趋势，可以作为各个领域发展和规划过程中的 重要生产材料。此外，通过表达使人联想到指甲设计中各种技术的图像并赋予故事，可以在创意和原始设计创 作中创造无限的可能性。

본 연구는 포크아트 기법 중 꽃문양의 아름답고 화려한 디자인을 네일아트에 적용된 작품을 제작하였다. 선행연구에서 보면 앞으로 시술받고 싶은 네일아트 중 포크아트 기법을 이용한 꽃무늬가 264명 중 109명(41.3%)으로 가장 많았으며 화려하고 아름다운 문양에 대한 선호도가 높게 나왔고 고객층이 많아질 것이라고 예 측하고 있다. 또한 현재 우리나라의 네일아트 산업은 꾸준히 성장하여 한국의 뷰티 'K-Beauty'를 시작으로 뛰어난 기술력과 정교함으로 높은 평가를 받아 경제, 문 화적인 측면에서 국가 발전에 이바지하고 있다. 이러한 성장을 지속시키고 뷰티산업을 더욱 발전시키기 위해서는 디자인의 다양화를 추구하고, 소비자 기호를 충 족시킬 수 있는 네일 분야의 예술적인 가치를 높일 수 있는 디자인 연구가 지속되어야한다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 포크아트 표현기법과 네일아트의 표현기법을 융합하여 창의적인 네일아트 디자인을 도출하였다. 포크아트로 표현할 수 있는 다양한 문양 중 고객들이 가장 선호하는 꽃문양을 네일아트에 적용하여 화려하고 아름다운 문양으로 예술적이며 창조적인 작품을 제작하였다. 첫 번째 작품은 개망초, 두 번째 작품은 찔레꽃, 세 번째 작품은 데이지꽃, 네 번째 작품은 장미꽃으로 디자인하여 제작하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 보편적인 네일아트 디자인의 한계를 뛰어넘을 수 있도록 새로운 아름다움을 창조하여 잠재성과 다양성을 향상시킬 기회 를 통해 네일 미용 산업의 발전에 기여하여 더욱 ‘K-Beauty’를 알리는 기회를 제공하고자한다.

This study applied beautiful and gorgeous designs of flower patterns among fork art techniques to nail art. According to previous studies, flower patterns using fork art techniques were the most popular among 264 people (41.3%) who wanted to receive nail art in the future, and it was predicted that the customer base would increase. In addition, the nail art industry in Korea has been growing steadily and has been highly evaluated for its excellent technology and sophistication, starting with Korean beauty 'K-Beauty', contributing to national development in economic and cultural aspects. In order to continue this growth and further develop the beauty industry, design diversification should be pursued and design research that can increase the artistic value of the nail field that can satisfy consumer tastes should be continued. Therefore, this study derived creative nail art designs by combining fork art expression techniques and nail art expression techniques. Among the various patterns that can be expressed with fork art, the flower patterns that customers prefer the most were applied to nail art to produce artistic and creative works with gorgeous and beautiful patterns. The first work was designed and produced as a flower of a sun-dried cherry blossom, the second as a wild rose, the third as a Michaelmas daisy, and the fourth as a rose. Through this study, we hope to create a new beauty that can overcome the limitations of universal nail art designs, thereby developing potential and diversity, and contributing to the development of the nail industry, thereby contributing to further promoting ‘K-Beauty’.

This study aimed to explore the application of Alexander Calder’s formative characteristics to nail design, moving beyond traditional pictorial nail art to propose more creative and innovative concepts. To achieve this, five nail art designs were reinterpreted from the perspective of Calder’s artistic principles. The results introduced new production techniques, emphasizing artistic value and expanding the creative potential of nail art. By integrating sculptural elements and design principles rarely used in conventional nail art, this study enhanced originality and established a new aesthetic framework. Furthermore, it validates the connection between Calder’s artistic approach and the researcher’s designs, providing a theoretical foundation for future creative developments in nail art.

本研究旨在应用亚历山大·卡尔德的造型特性, 突破传统美甲艺术的绘画性设计模式, 提出创新性设计方案. 基于亚历山大·卡尔德作品的艺术视角, 本研究共重新解读并设计了5 款美甲艺术作品. 研究结果为美甲设计领域提供了全新的制作方法, 并显著提升了设计的艺 术价值. 通过引入传统美甲领域未曾使用的造型元素和原理, 有效增强了设计的创造性, 构 建了美甲艺术设计的新美学价值. 本研究通过将亚历山大·卡尔德作品与创作者作品的关联性 论证, 为新的设计构思提供了理论依据.

This study is focused on understanding the practicability of nail design in line with the trend and contributing to the nail design development by analyzing the 2011 S/S fashion color trend and applying that trend into nail color design. To this end, the 2011 S/S fashion color trend was first analyzed based on the relevant document and data, and then was applied on the square-off shaped nail to express french, gradation, and one-color nail design. As a result of this study, diverse types and colors of nail design that can meet the customers’ stylistic demand and taste have been successfully developed by applying the representative colors which were suggested under the latest trend concepts of ‘Future Classic,’ ‘Elegant Aesthetics,’ ‘Mysterious Daybreak,’ and ‘Impulse Creation’ through diverse expression methods. Such development is also expected to contribute to suggesting a direction of a new trend creation.

This study aims to produce nail art products by applying the unconscious elements of the psychological healing characteristics of Vladimir Kush's works to nail art design. As a research method, we reviewed Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory, which influenced surrealism, and previous research on Vladimir Kush, and analyzed the contents of the exhibition works. Through this, five works that applied unconscious characteristics among the artist's works were produced, only design points were extracted, three nail stencil plate designs were presented for each work, and nail stickers and nail tarot cards were produced. By developing product designs by applying the psychological healing characteristics of surrealist artists, which were not covered in previous research in the nail art field, we aim to contribute to the field of programs for design development as well as research in the field of nail art design.

本研究将弗拉基米尔·库什作品心理治愈特征中应用无意识要素的设计贯穿于美甲设计，制作美甲商品。作为研究方法，本文考察了影响超现实主义的西格蒙德·弗洛伊德的精神分析理论，弗拉基米尔·库什相关的先行研究，分析了展示会上的作品内容。基于上述分析，制作了5个作家作品中应用无意识特征的作品，且仅提取其设计要点，每部美甲作品提出了3个美甲钢板设计，制作了美甲贴纸和美甲塔罗牌。本研究应用了此前美甲领域先行研究中未涉及过的超现实主义作家的心理治愈特征，开发出新颖的商品设计，试图与美甲设计领域研究一起，为设计开发项目领域做出新的贡献。

본 연구는 우리 전통 민화의 화조도와 초충도를 주제로 현대적으로 재창조하여 네일아트에 응용하여 작품을 제작하였다. 디자인 모티브로 삼은 민화를 그래픽으 로 디자인을 만들어 워터데칼 디자인 패턴을 제작한 후 네일 팁에 작품을 완성하였다. 그래픽으로 디테일하게 워터데칼 디자인 패턴을 제작하여 바로 네일아트에 적 용한 워터데칼 네일아트는 핸드페인팅으로 표현하기 어려운 부분을 섬세하게 사실적으로 표현할 수가 있다. 사실적 문양 표현이 가능한 본 연구는 네일 산업분야의 영역을 확대하고 알리며, 네일아트 디자인의 창의성 확대를 위한 기초자료를 제시하여 네일아트 산업의 발전을 도모하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법은 이론적 배경을 위해서는 국내의 학위논문, 단행본 등의 문헌 자료를 중심으로 조선시대 민화의 특성을 살펴보고 그 중 화조도와 초충도를 네일아트 디자인으로 제작하였다. 민화의 화조도에 속하는 모란도, 연화도, 송학도, 금계도와 초충도를 그래픽으로 최대한 사실감있게 도안을 만들어 선명하게 출력하여 만든 워터데칼 디자인 패턴은 핸드페 인팅으로 표현하기 힘든 부분을 짧은 시간 안에 제작할 수 있어 네일아트의 완성도와 네일 작품 제작의 영역을 확대시킬 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여 핸드페인팅으 로 표현하기 어렵고 시간이 많이 걸리는 디자인을 표현할 때 민화 뿐만 아니라 다양한 캐릭터나 회화작품들도 그래픽으로 도안을 만들어 워터데칼 디자인 패턴을 제 작하여 네일아트에 적용할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었고 이는 네일샵의 고객회전으로 효율성과 네일아트의 디자인 영역 확장에 크게 기여하리라 사료된다.

In this study, the paintings of flowers and birds and insects of our traditional folk paintings were recreated in a modern way and applied to nail art to produce works. A graphic design was created using a folk painting as a design motif, a water decal design pattern was created, and the work was completed on the nail tip. Water decal nail art, which is applied to nail art by creating a detailed water decal design pattern with graphics, can express details that are difficult to express with hand painting realistically. This study, which can express realistic patterns, aims to promote the development of the nail art industry by expanding and publicizing the realm of the nail industry and presenting basic data for expanding the creativity of nail art design. As for the research method, for the theoretical background, the characteristics of folk paintings of the Joseon Dynasty were examined, focusing on domestic literature data such as theses and books, and among them, paintings of flowers and birds and paintings of insects were produced as nail art designs. The water decal design pattern, which is made by printing the drawings as realistically as possible with graphics of Peonies, Lotus, Songhak, Geumgyeso and Chochungdo, belonging to the flowers and birds of folk painting, can produce parts that are difficult to express with hand painting in a short time. The perfection of nail art and the scope of nail art production could be expanded. Through this study, it can be seen that when expressing a design that is difficult to express with hand painting and takes a lot of time, not only folk paintings but also various characters or paintings can be graphic designs and water decal design patterns can be produced and applied to nail art. It is believed that this will greatly contribute to the efficiency and expansion of the design area of nail art due to the customer rotation of nail salons.

The purpose of this study is to consider the theoretical background of Maximalism Fashion and design the nail art based on creative thinking and idea. This research seeks to create various expressions of nail art and expands the range of its area as art works. Research methods are to consider the concept of Maximalism and characteristics of fashion, nail art techniques as utilizing the preceding research and internet data. Also, The researcher made four works to reconstitute the characteristics of Maximalism Fashion classifying as expansion, experiment, fusion and decorativeness. The results of this study are as follows. First, we found the utilization of various techniques as presenting nail design based on the creativity and originality applying the characteristics of Maxmalism Fashion. Second, suggest the possibility to extend the area of nail art representation techniques. The researcher hopes that a wide range of design applied to nail art appears in a variety of areas and expects the nail industry to be specialized in specific areas.

본 연구에서는 천경자 그림에 표현된 색채를 응용하여 추상적 네일디자인을 작품제작으로 표현하고자 한다. 이를 통해 네일 디자인의 창의적인 아이디어 발상에 대한 기본 토대를 마련하고 네일디자인의 표현영역을 확대하는데 목적을 가진다. 실증적 연구로서 천경자의 미술적 특징이 잘 표현된 작품 5가지를 선정하여 NCS 자연색체계를 활용하여 색채 데이 터 분석을 하였으며, 색채 활용과 더불어 네일디자인을 표현하기 위해 천경자의 작품 속 대표되는 5가지의 모티프를 선정하 여 각 작품에 표현하였다. 본 연구의 작품 제작에 나타난 디자인은 네일디자인과 현대 한국회화의 융·복합이며, 이를 통하여 뷰티디자인의 예술성을 다양한 시각으로 재창조하여 네일 디자인을 개발하였다.

This paper tried to produce the abstract nail designs using the colors expressed in the works by the artist Chun Kyung-ja. The approach in this paper aimed to prepare the basis for realizing the creative idea on the nail design and to help to expand the expression field of nail design. The works expressing the artistic features of the artist Chun Kyung-ja well were selected for the empirical research and color data was analyzed using NCS(Natural Color System). Finally, 5 kinds of representative works on the works by the artist Chun Kyung-ja were selected and applied to nail designs for creating nail designs as well as application of colors. In conclusion, the nail design of this research is convergence of nail design and the modern Korean painting. Based on such convergence, this paper expressed the nail design by recreating the of beauty design by various viewpoints.

아이스크림 색채는 소비자들의 시각적 감각을 자극하며 연상을 통해 브랜드 스토리를 전달한다. 이러한 색채 활용의 마케팅은 뷰티영역에서도 활용되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 이론적 고찰과 실증적 연구를 기반으로 스토 리를 구현의 뷰티디자인 도출을 목적으로 하며 ‘B’ 브랜드 아이스크림 스토리 컬러를 네일 디자인으로 나타내었다. 이론적 고찰을 통하여 아이스크림 ‘B’ 브랜드에 활용된 색채 및 브랜드 스토리를 고찰하였으며 실증적 연구를 통하 여 도출된 네일 디자인을 네일 팁 위에 나타내었다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 아이스크림 색채와 네일아트의 융합을 특정 브랜드의 색채를 반영한 뷰티디자인 및 색채 이미지 연출의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다고 사료된다.

Ice cream color is delivered brand stories to consumer through visual sense stimulation. Today’s consumption patterns reflect not just five-senses(look, taste, hear, touch, smell) satisfaction but also the consumption of satisfaction through brand value. these marketing of utilized color is using in beauty design area also. therefore these a study is consisting the theoretical and empirical research, that’s for implemented of storytelling the beauty design. on this base contemplation ‘B’ brand ice cream’s color and brand story through the theoretical research, and express the derived design on nails by the empirical research. As a result, a study is implied fusion of ice cream color and nail art design, that believed to serve as a basic source of beauty design and color imagnation that reflect the color of specific brand.

In this lab, we were trying to find out the meaning of a lotus flower from ancestors' old Buddhish culture that represents the Land of Happiness to bring and remake the design of it to today's world's nail art. To korea, Buddhism pictures mean not just a religious stuff, but it is also representing our culture. By understanding the backgrounds and developing countries in the picture, it gave us more detail about our history and also about their Buddhism culture. The design was not a just drawing but it showed the historical background, the beauty, the social life, their religion life, what they were or eat or lived at and even the formal meaning of the time when it made. So we tried to study on one of the Koryo Danasty Period's design "a lotus flower design" to make it more artistic. The result was creative art work that made based on applying on "a lotus flower design" which is not just showing about our Buddhism culture but also our world of spirits.
