This research is the investigation into the concrete effects of mnemonics-based learning method with schema on the elementary school student's learning motivation and achievement. Mnemonics-based learning method with schema, which makes use of mnemonics, is the positive learning activity which encourage learner's memory and transfer of learning effect. According to our research, the learning motivation of the experiment group which made use of learning method with schema had much higher level of learning motivation and learning achievement result than the group which didn't. We also found out that the learning method with schema had the same level of long-term memory of learning regardless of the learner's level of learning ability. These results suggest that the learning method with schema is helpful to learning regardless of the learner's learning ability. Thus, we can expect that the introduction of mnemonics-based learning method with schema into the classroom as the proper learning and instruction method of 7th national curriculum will be helpful to the enhancement of the learner's learning motivation and learning achievement.

In this respects, this paper analyzes lots of on-line discoursive acts about Iraqi war with which is regarded models of participating citizenship in cyber reality and classifies political identities in reference to pro-US vs anti-US and realism vs idealism. Consequently, The identity politics in on-line debates represents individual and social citizenship for democratic relevancy and imports necessity of communicative, negotiable, and global citizenship education in social studies.

This study investigates the strategies of early childhood teachers' practical knowledge. Therefore it seek to reveal the early childhood teachers' professional knowledges. Twenty kindergarten teachers were subjects in this study. Of the cases adapted for this study, 8 were selected based on the case development standards. This web site manage during the 8 weeks. The findings of this study reveal that there are many strategies of practical knowledge such as the relationship between teacher and parent, between teacher and young children, cooperation with peers, professional attitude, and ask for educational policy.

After introduction of social studies education in korea, Its teaching methods are continually differentiated. Teaching methods of social studies have a internal or external relation to the identity of social studies education. The purpose of this study is to investigate the identity of social studies education and to present the construction process of teaching method internal to its identity and its cases. The identity of social studies education is rooted in the concept of civil society consisted of social practices as form of life. And, Internal teaching methods are rooted in content of social studies education reflecting social practices. Therefore, Teaching methods have internal relation to content of social studies education and changes according to the nature of social studies education content. The mastery of these teaching methods enhances student's understanding about content. These teaching methods are achieved through participation and devotion to social practices and can make contribution to academic development of social studies education as a course of study.
