This study aimed to evaluate the effects of side walking training (SWT) using sandbags on the balance and walking abilities of stroke patients. The participant was a 72-year-old male diagnosed with a stroke. A single-subject experimental design combining an ABC design and a crossover treatment design (single-subject alternating treatments design) was utilized. The outcome measures included the timed up and go test (TUG) and the modified functional reach test (mFRT) for assessing balance, as well as the 10-meter walk test (10MWT) and the dynamic gait index (DGI) for evaluating walking ability. The intervention consisted of SWT with sandbags applied to the affected leg, incorporating both affected and unaffected side walking. Post-intervention results showed a decrease of 6.17 seconds in TUG, an increase of 3.67 cm in mFRT, a decrease of 7.49 seconds in 10MWT, and an increase of 3 points in DGI. These findings suggest that SWT using sandbags may assist in improving the balance and walking abilities of stroke patients. Further research in this area is warranted.

본 연구의 목적은 장애인의 보행 보조 기구의 사용 능력에 따른 보행 보조 기구의 사용과 일상생활 수행정도를 비교하는 것이다. 연구자료는 2014년 한국복지패널 표본에서 추출하였다. 전체 435,947 자료를 교차분석과 t-검정을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 독립적으로 보행 보조 장치를 사용할 수 없는 장애인들이 장애정도가 더 심하고 일상 생활 수준도 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회참여 수준과 여가활동 수준도 역시 비교그룹에 비해 독립적으로 사용하는 그룹에서 현저히 낮았다. 보행보조기는 장애인의 보행보조기 사용에 있어 장애인의 독립성 수준에 따라 맞춤형으로 해야 한다는 결론이 도출되었다.
This study compared the utility of walking aids, and activities of daily life depending on the ability of people with mobility disabilities to use walking aids. Data were extracted from the Korea Welfare Panel Study in 2014. Data of 435,947 individuals were analyzed using chi-square and t-tests. The findings from this study showed that disabled persons who cannot use walking aids independently were more likely to have a severe disability level and a lower level of daily activities than the independent group. The level of social participation and leisure activities were also significantly lower in the dependent than the independent group. Therefore, walking aids should be tailored for individuals depending on their level of independence for using walking aids.

The rehabilitation process of people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS) is a challenge, and decision-making requires a thorough assessment to in-crease the chances of success in rehabilitation planning. The aim of this study was to investigate the importance of the neuro-orthopaedic check-Up (NOChU) for gait prognosis. Participated in the study 105 PwMS with different levels of impairment. The NOChU includes measurements of passive range of motion (ROM), muscle strength, and spasticity. Addi-tionally, was carried out the spatial-temporal analysis of the walking, Timed Up and Go test, and 6-min walk test. ROM remained relatively preserved to perform daily life activities except for ankle dorsiflexion. Muscle strength was also relatively preserved. Spasticity affected es-pecially the ankle muscles, clearly the sural triceps. Among the NOChU measurements the catch seemed to have the most impact on walking on its different phases and on other activities. Accurate NOChU measure-ments play a crucial role in clinical settings, guiding informed decisions in rehabilitation planning. Future research endeavours could focus on exploring the correlations between NOChU deficiencies and the decline in walking capabilities among PwMS, with the goal of proposing per-sonalized treatment strategies that address their specific requirements.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of walking exer-cise through a 6-min walking test on subjective dyspnea, pulmonary function test, arterial blood gas analysis, and activities of daily living to provide base data for the nursing intervention of pneumoconiosis pa-tients. The subjects were pneumoconiosis patients men aged over 60. This quasi-experimental study was designed with a non-equivalent control group pre- and post -test design, and the study period was Sep-tember to December 2013. Of the pneumoconiosis inpatient subjects, 39 were assigned to the experimental group and the 39 to the control group. Only the experimental group was subjected to a 6-min walking test three times a week for 10 weeks. Subjective dyspnea was mea-sured based on anxiety about dyspnea during and after the exercise. FEV1% prediction and FEV1/FVC% were used to measure the pulmo-nary function. The arterial blood gas was measured based on the pH, PaO2, PaCO2, and activities of daily living. The data were analyzed through an χ² and t -test. The study results showed that the 6-min walk-ing test reduced the anxiety about dyspnea of the pneumoconiosis pa-tients during the exercise, moderated the dyspnea index after the per-formance of the activities, and improved the patients’ ability to perform activities of daily living. Thus, walking exercise seems to be an effective nursing intervention to maintain the respiratory rehabilitation outcomes by minimizing the pneumoconiosis patients’ burden.

The study aims to determine the effects of smartphone use on the mus-cle activity of the lower extremity when walking. Twenty-three healthy young students were asked to perform a 10-m walk test between nor-mal walking without using a smartphone and walking while two-handed texting on a smartphone. The electromyography activities of the lower extremity were quantified. To quantitatively assess the cervical flexion range of smartphone users, the cervical flexion angle was measured using a digital goniometer. The study results indicated that the use of a smartphone while walking could lessen muscle activity on the tibialis anterior, gastrocnemius, rectus femoris, gluteus maximus, and gluteus medius than that of normal walking without using a smartphone. The walking speeds were reduced in walking while using a smartphone compared with normal walking without using a smartphone. The cervi-cal flexion angle was greater when walking while using a smartphone compared to that of normal walking without using a smartphone. These results suggest that frequently using a smartphone while walking could be a potential risk for musculoskeletal problems.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of mat-based Pilates exercise on balance and walking ability in a patient with chronic stroke. A single-subject experimental study with an A-B-A′ design was used, in which phase A was the baseline phase, phase B was the intervention phase, and phase A′ was the follow-up phase. A total of 20 sessions were conducted (4 baseline, 8 intervention, and 8 follow-up sessions), five times per week. During the intervention phase, mat-based Pilates exercise was performed for 60 minutes per day to improve spinal mobility, trunk stability, and lower extremity strength. The timed up-and-go test (TUGT) and 10-meter walk test (10MWT) were measured at every session, whereas the Berg balance scale (BBS) and dynamic gait index (DGI) were assessed only before and after the intervention period as supplementary pre-post outcomes. Compared with the baseline phase, the TUGT decreased by 6.13 seconds during the intervention phase (from 47.97 to 41.84 seconds) and by 13.12 seconds during the follow-up phase (to 34.85 seconds). The 10MWT decreased by 5.89 seconds during the intervention phase (from 53.13 to 47.24 seconds) and by 10.25 seconds during the follow-up phase (to 42.88 seconds). BBS and DGI scores improved by 14 points (from 30 to 44) and 7 points (from 10 to 17), respectively. These findings suggest that mat-based Pilates exercise may be a feasible intervention for improving balance and walking ability in patients with chronic stroke. However, because this study involved a single participant and concurrent conventional rehabilitation was provided, the findings should be interpreted with caution. Further randomized controlled studies with larger samples are needed.

The previous reviewed studies on inducement of fatigue through long-time walking were not only very confined, but also not cleared on rela-tionship among variables of fatigue inducement active force, decay rate, and power. This study analyzed relationship between power and component of ground reaction force after fatigue being induced through 16-km walking. The fatigue of adult males and females (n=16) was induced through 16-km walking. Then power, measured for pre and post of fatigue inducement, was evaluated by maximal vertical jump on ground reaction force plate. Variables of vertical jump heights, active force, power, and decay rate showed decreased tendency after fatigue inducement, which followed significant difference (P<0.05) and also positive correlation of r=0.628 (R 2=39%) of between vertical jump heights and power and r=0.589 (R 2=34%) of between active force and decay rate respectively. That is, long-time walking for pursuing of exer-cise rehabilitation, health promotion and leisure activity has been pre-ferred. In the view of this, this study suggested the necessity to under-stand the relation between fatigue and power to prevent a potential possibility of injury during long-time walking.

Recently though various hip seats for carrying infant of women was de-signed and developed, then, wearing slipper may restrain the move-ment of bare foot. The study was undertaken to investigate the dynamic stability and kinetic variables according to between position of carrying infant and wearing slipper. Adult female (n=10) and under one year age of infant (n=10) participated in the study. Extrapolated center of mass, center of pressure, ground reaction force (GRF), and leg stiffness of gait characteristics using 3-dimensional cinematography and GRF were an-alyzed. Dynamic stability according to position of carrying infant and wearing slipper was not significant. While when carried an infant against normal gait showed significant difference in breaking force, leg stiffness and loading rate (P<0.001). Of which breaking force and verti-cal impulse were more increased when the back-carried against fore-carried of trunk. Thus it resulted in transformation on types of im-pulse transfer to leg and COG of women’s carrying infant, which may be strategy for securing a dynamic stability. Therefore experts related with exercise rehabilitation should understand sufficiently on gait character-istics of women with diseases on muscular-skeletal system and per-form effective rehabilitation and treatment.

This study aimed to analyze an effect on the parameters of high-heel shoe and transfer time of ground reaction force during level walking and subjects participated were composed of adult female subjects (n=13) of 20s with height of high heel (0 cm, 9 cm, respectively). Instru-ment used for the study was 1 set force plate (AMTI-OR9-7) and sam-pling rate for data collection of analysis parameters was set-up at 1,000 Hz. The revelation of required coefficient of friction (RCOF) maximum showed significant difference with more rapid than that of 1st peak ver-tical force (1 PVF). Transfer time of body weight showed significant dif-ference with more delay at 9 cm than that of 0 cm. RCOF required more frictional force required because PVF showed significant difference with larger value on 9 cm than that of 3 cm at 1 PVF. Both center of pressure (COP) x and COPy showed rather less displacement on 9 cm than that of 0 cm. In addition, level walking by high heel shoe did not control efficiently the ground reaction force due to restricted control capacity of coefficient of frictional force and therefore could suggest an inducement of muscle fatigue, heightening a possibility of sliding and falling due to decrease of frictional force.

본 연구는 노르딕 워킹과 일반 워킹이 하지 근육, 특히 Tibialis Anterior와 Soleus 근육의 cocontraction 에 미치는 영향을 비교하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 연구 방법으로는 6명의 젊은 성인 참가자를 대상으로 표면 근전도(EMG)를 사용하여 두 가지 걷기 유형에 따른 근육 활동을 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 노르딕 워 킹은 일반 워킹에 비해 더 높은 Tibialis Anterior와 Soleus 근육의 cocontraction을 유발하는 것으로 나타 났다. 이는 노르딕 워킹이 근육 강화 및 조정 능력 향상에 효과적인 운동 방식일 수 있음을 시사한다. 그러나 참가자 수와 표본의 다양성 부족은 연구의 한계점으로 지적된다. 따라서, 더 광범위한 표본을 대 상으로 한 후속 연구가 필요하며, 이는 노르딕 워킹의 건강상의 이점을 더욱 명확히 밝힐 것으로 기대된다.
This study examined the effects of Nordic walking compared to regular walking on the co-contraction of lower limb muscles, specifically the Tibialis Anterior and Soleus, in 6 young adults using surface electromyography (EMG). The findings reveal that Nordic walking significantly enhances the co-contraction of these muscles, suggesting its potential for improving muscle strength and coordination. Given the small sample size and lack of diversity, further research with a broader demographic is essential to confirm these findings and fully ascertain the health benefits of Nordic walking.
교통약자의 보행 교통사고 특성과 보행 횡단요소 분석(여수시를 사례로) KCI 등재

2014년 기준 65세 이상 노인은 전체인구의 12.7%로서 우리나라는 조만간에 고령사회로 진입하게 되고 노인 등 교통약자들도 다양한 사회경제적 활동으로 일반인과 동등하게 안전하고 편리하게 이동할 수 있도록 이동권이 보장되어야 한다. 교통약자의 가장 기본적인 수단인 보행은 일반인과 다른 보행특성을 보임에도 불구하고 기존 보행 관련 시설 및 운영은 이에 대한 고려가 부족한 현실이다. 본 연구는 융복합 시대를 맞이하여 교통약자(노인)의 보행 관련 교통사고 특성을 살펴보고 여수시를 사례로 횡단보도에서 노인의 보행실태와 보행횡단 요소를 분석하고자 한다. 2014년 기준 교통사고 자료에 의하면, 노인 교통사고는 전체 교통사고의 9.9%로 발생하고 있으나 노인사망자수는 전체의 40.3%를 차지하고 있고 노인 사망자수의 47.4%가 차대보행자 사고로 기인한다. 또한 전체 보행자 중 노인 보행자 발생은 18.7%이나 노인 보행자 사망자 비율은 49.3%에 해당하는 매우 높은 비중을 차지하고 노인보행자 치사율이 3.03명으로 전체보행자 치사율보다 3배정도 높게 나타난다. 교통약자(노인) 횡단 보행요소인 반응시간과 보행속도를 조사한 결과, 노인 신체능력 하위 15%-tile에 해당하는 반응시간은 4.56초와 보행속도는 초당 0.76m가 적절한 것으로 분석되었고 조사지점의 횡단보행 신호운영을 평가한 결과 보행안전성이 떨어지는 것으로 판단되어 개선된 보행신호 운영이 요구되었다.
The population over 65 years old is 12.7% of total population in 2014 and Korea is going to be an aged society in the near future. The transportation vulnerable including the aged should be guaranteed in walking mobility under safe and comfortable environment for their socio-economic activities. For the era of fusion and convergence this paper investigated the characteristics of walking accidents related to the aged pedestrians and analyzed the aged-oriented walking factors with a reaction time and a walking speed at crosswalks in Yeosu. In the results, the crashes for the aged occur at 9.9% of total crashes and the fatalities of the aged are 40.3% of total fatalities in 2014. The 47.4% of the aged fatalities is also attributed to vehicle-to-pedestrian accidents. The 49.3% of all pedestrian fatalities occurs at the aged pedestrians with a very high proportion. The reaction time and walking speed for the aged were determined as the values located at the lower 15%-tile of the elderly physical ability. It is shown that the reaction time is 4.56 seconds and the walking speed is 0.76 m/s in the case of Yeosu. From two factors’ standpoint, the walking environment at crosswalks in Yeosu is inappropriate for the aged.

This study aimed to examine the effects of performance-based treadmill walking training with visual deprivation on balance and walking functions in patients with chronic stroke. We performed this study with a single-subject experimental research design (A-B-C). One patient with chronic stroke participated in this study. Experimental sessions consisted of three phases (a total of 20 sessions): (1) baseline phase, (2) 1st intervention phase, and (3) 2nd intervention phase. During the two intervention phases, performance-based treadmill walking training was performed, and visual deprivation was added in the 2nd intervention phase only. Intervention was performed for an average of 60 min, twice per day for two weeks. Outcome measures included Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Timed Up-and-Go test (TUGT), 10-meter walk test (10MWT), and Dynamic Gait Index (DGI). The BBS and DGI scores improved by 11 and 6 points, respectively. Furthermore, TUGT (36.91 sec) and 10MWT (18.74 sec) improved in the 1st intervention phase, and more improvement (TUGT: 56.45 sec, and 10MWT: 45.18 sec) was observed during the 2nd intervention phase. These results indicates that the performance-based treadmill walking training might improve balance and walking functions, with more favorable outcomes when visual deprivation was added. Further studies are required to support these results.
노인의 우울, 걷기, 삶의 질의 관계에 대한 연구 - 걷기의 조절효과 중심으로 - KCI 등재

본 연구의 목적은 노인의 우울과 삶의 질의 관계에서 걷기가 어떠한 역할을 하는지 탐색하기 위함이다. 이 를 위해 제6기 2차년도(2014) 국민건강영양조사 자료 중 65세 이상 노인 1,263명을 대상으로 하여 연구를 수행하였 다. 일반적 특성과 독립변수 및 조절변수에 따른 살의 질 차이를 확인하기 위해 t-test, ANOVA를 이용하여 분석하였 으며, 연구결과 성별(t=8.26, p<.001), 나이(t=5.19, p<.001), 만성질환 수(F=37.88, p<.001), 우울(t=9.62, p<.001), 걷기 (t=47.36, p<.001)에 따른 삶의 질의 차이가 나타났다. 걷기의 조절효과를 확인하기 위하여 위계적 회귀분석을 이용하 여 분석하였으며, 연구결과 걷기는 우울이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 있어서 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 걷기 수준이 높아질수록 우울이 삶의 질에 미치는 효과가 감소하는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 연구결과를 토대로 우울 한 노인의 삶의 질을 높이기 위해서 걷기의 증진이 필요함을 제언하는 바이다. 본 연구의 의의는 걷기의 조절효과를 밝힘으로써 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 프로그램 구성의 근거를 제시하였다는 점에 있다.
This study examined how walking moderates the influence of depression on quality of life in elderly. Data of the study were analysed using the sixth Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES V-2, 2014). The subjects were elderly aged 65 years or more and the number of the sample was 1,263. Using hierarchial regression analysis, walking as a moderator of the depression and quality of life relationship was examined. Quality of life for elderly showed significant differences according to sex(t=8.26, p<.001), age(t=5.19, p<.001), number of chronic disease(F=37.88, p<.001), depression(t=9.62, p<.001) and walking per week (t=47.36, p<.001). Walking moderated the relationship between depression and quality of life in elderly. Based on these findings, the enhancement of walking in depressed elderly is recommended to promote the quality of life.

In the past, researchers evaluated walking speed and stride during a gait ability test. However, recently, there have been developed methods which evaluate exercise performance beyond result-based assessment. In the past, the individual ability was estimated according to walking index, but the trend has been gradually expanding the scope of researching boundary with questions on the process of walking. The purpose of this study is to explain the muscle synergies that occur during walking. The muscle synergy refers to a pattern in which various muscles present in the human body are simultaneously activated to achieve a given task. Currently, muscle synergy research is actively underway in the exercise regulation and the neurodynamic field. Theoretically, the number of cases of performing the same task due to the many joint freedom degrees in the human body varies greatly. From this point of view, it can be concluded that the simultaneous activity pattern of muscles can be varied by repeating the task for everyone. However, when the actual muscle activity pattern is analyzed, there is no significant difference between the individuals. Considering that there are few differences among individuals with very important patterns in the task performance process, a common strategy for achieving goals in the central nervous system may be a necessary pattern for the successful execution of specific behaviors. Through this common pattern, spatiotemporal data for muscle synergy can provide the theoretical base for gait training in rehabilitation.

본 연구는 생애주기별 1인 가구의 걷기 실천과 행복감의 차이를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 2021년 지역사회건강조사 자료를 활용한 이차분석 연구로 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 복합표본 통계분석을 시행하였다. 그 결과, 노년기는 청년기와 중년기에 비해 남성보다 여성이 많았고 저학력, 비경제활동, 기초생활수급 및 7시간 미만의 수면이 많았 다. 1인 가구의 청년기, 중년기, 노년기 모두 걷기 실천이 걷기 미실천 보다 낮았다. 1인 가구의 행복감 정도는 성인기 6.69 점, 노년기 6.43점, 중년기 6.19점으로 중년기의 행복감이 가장 낮았다. 1인 가구의 청년기, 중년기, 노년기 모두 걷기 실천에 따라 행복감에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 따라서 1인 가구의 행복감을 증진시키기 위해서 걷기 실천을 독려하고 이를 위한 사회 적, 복지적 및 정책적인 방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate difference between walking practice and happiness of one-person households according to the life cycles. This is a secondary analysis study using data from the 2021 Community Health Survey. The data were analyzed using SPSS 25 program for composite sample statistical analysis. As a result, in old age, there were many women, low education, and non-economic activities, and there were many basic living and less than 7 hours of sleep. The walking practice of one-person households was low in youth, middle age, and old age of one-person households. The level of happiness by life cycles of one-person households was 6.69 points in youth, 6.43 points in old age, and 6.19 points in middle age, and the happiness of middle age was the lowest. In youth, middle age, and old age of one-person households, there was a significant differences in happiness depending on walking practice. Therefore, social, welfare, and policy strategies should be developed to encourage walking to improve happiness of one-person households.

최근 보행의 중요도는 점진적으로 높아지고 있는 상황에도 불구하고 보행활동시간 특성에 대한 분석은 미미한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 생활시간조사 자료를 활용하여 보행활동시간 특 성에 대해 알아보았다. 통행보행과 여가보행으로 구분하여 군집분석과 대응분석을 수행하였 으며, 이를 통하여 각 군집별 특성을 파악하였다. 통행보행을 전혀 하지 않는 사람들은 근로자 가 주를 이루었으며, 통행보행을 하는 사람들은 가정주부 그룹과 학생 그룹으로 구분할 수 있 었다. 학생 그룹의 첨두는 오전에 명확하게 나타나며, 오후 첨두는 분산되어 있었다. 가정주부 그룹의 첨두는 뚜렷하지 않으나, 오후 시간대 보행을 주로 하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 여가보 행을 전혀 하지 않는 사람들은 근로자가 주를 이루었으며, 여가보행을 주로하는 사람들은 노 년 그룹이었다. 노년 그룹의 여가보행 패턴은 15시 전후에 주로 하는 그룹과 15시 전후를 제외 한 타시간에 주로 하는 그룹으로 구분될 수 있다. 이러한 보행의 보행활동시간 특성은 향후 보행정책 수립시 기초자료로 활용이 기대된다.
Despite the increasing importance of pedestrians and their walking individualities, walking activity time characteristics are yet to be studied. This study analyzes the walking activity time characteristics by group using the Time Use Survey data. In order to analyze the characteristics of each pedestrian group, cluster analysis and correspondence analysis were performed by dividing the walking styles into utilitarian and leisure-purpose walking. Those who did not undertake utilitarian walking were mainly the worker group, whereas subjects who walked could be classified into homemaker and student groups. The peak of the student group appeared clearly in the morning, with a dispersed peak obtained during the afternoon. Although the peak of the homemaker group was not precise, it was confirmed that they mainly walked in the afternoon. The worker group also did not participate in leisure-purpose walking, while the elderly group mostly undertook walking for leisure. These walking activity time characteristics of pedestrians are expected to be applied when establishing related pedestrian policies.

연구목적은 혈액투석환자의 활동과 건강정도의 관계를 확인하기 위하여, 걷기가 혈액투석 환자의 체성분 및 혈액학적 지수에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이다. 연구방법은 혈액투석환자를 대상으로 이루어진 횡단적 서술적 조사연 구이다. 연구대상은 B 광역시에서 혈액투석 치료를 받고 있는 66명의 혈액투석환자였다. 연구결과, 혈액투석환자의 걷 기는 감소되어 있었고, 걷기에 따른 혈액학적 지수는 차이가 있었으나 체성분은 차이가 없었다. 대상자의 체중이 증가하 면 골격량, 체지방량, 체질량지수, 복부지방률, 기초대사량과 단백질이 증가하는 것으로 나타났으나 총콜레스테롤과 고 밀도 콜레스테롤은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 혈액투석환자의 대상자 수를 확대하여 걷기, 체성분 및 혈액학 적 지수 외에 영양섭취를 추가하여 조사해 볼 것을 제언한다.
The specific purpose was to determine the effect of walking on the body composition and hematological index of hemodialysis patients in order to confirm the relationship between activity and health level of hemodialysis patients. The research method is a cross-sectional descriptive survey conducted in hemodialysis patients.The subjects were 66 hemodialysis patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment in B city. As a result of the study, walking was decreased in hemodialysis patients, and there was a difference in hematological index according to walking, but there was no difference in body composition. As body weight increased, skeletal mass, body fat mass, body mass index, abdominal fat percentage, basal metabolism, and protein increased, but total cholesterol and high-density cholesterol decreased. This study proposes to expand the number of subjects of hemodialysis patients to investigate by adding nutritional intake in addition to walking, body composition and hematological index.

This study was conducted with 22 obese middle-aged women with percent body fat of 30 or higher by dividing them into the exercise group(n=12) and the control group(n=10). The purpose was to examine the effects of walking and aquatic exercise conducted simultaneously with the exercise group for 12 weeks, 4 times per week(Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) on health-related physical fitness and blood lipid. The effects of exercise were compared and analyzed and finally, the following conclusion was drawn. First, the walking and aquatic exercise program had positive effects on the change in health-related physical exercise in obese middle-aged women: Muscle strength(p<.01), muscular endurance(p<.001), flexibility(p<.01), cardio-respiratory endurance(p<.05), and body composition(weight, p<.001; % body fat(p<.001; lean body mass(p<.001), and BMI(p<.001)). Second, the walking and aquatic exercise program had positive effects on the change in blood lipid in obese middle-aged women(TG, p<.01; HDL-C; p<.05, LDL-C and p<.001). There was no significant difference in measurement period for TC and the control group had no significant difference. Based on this result, the walking and aquatic exercise program was found to decrease weight and body fat, improve health-related physical fitness, and influence blood lipid positively in obese middle-aged women. Accordingly, it can be recommended as an effective program for obese middle-aged women. Also, if exercise strength is gradually increased, more apparent effect may occur. Further study should make efforts to generalize study results by increasing study participants. Furthermore, since several other factors such as dietary life and life habits can work, it should be sufficiently considered to control the study subject.

본 연구는 걷기 일수가 삶의 질과 구강건강관련 행위에 미치는 융합적인 영향을 확인하기 위한 기초자료로 제공 하고자 한다. 2019년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 사용하였고, 걷는 일수가 건강관련 삶의 질 (HINT-8)과 구강건강관련 행위에 미치는 영향을 확인하기위해 복합표본 선형회귀분석과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 그 결과 인구학적 특성을 통제하고, 많이 걸을수록 건강관련 삶의 질은 .284배 감소하여 좋아짐을 확인하였고(p<.05), 구강검진은 1.485배 증가, 충치치료는 .082배, 신경치료는 .009배 감소하였다(p<.05). 따라서 성인의 걷기와 구강건강관련 행위, 삶의 질의 관련성에 대한 기초자료로서 활용 가능하며 걷기가 전신건강 뿐만 아니라 구강건강과의 관련성을 제안했다는 점에서 그 가치가 있다고 생각된다.
This study intends to provide basic data to determine the effect of walking days on quality of life and oral health-related behaviors. Data from the 2019 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey were used, and complex sample linear regression analysis and logistic regression analysis were performed to determine the effect of walking days on health-related quality of life (EQ-5D) and oral health-related behaviors. As a result, controlling for demographic characteristics, and increasing the number of walking, the health-related quality of life decreased by .284 times (p<.05) and improved by 1.485 times for oral examination, .082 times for dental caries treatment, and .009 times for nerve treatment. a fold decrease (p<.05). Therefore, it can be used as basic data on the relationship between adult walking and oral health-related behaviors and quality of life, and it is considered valuable in that it suggests the relationship between walking and oral health as well as general health.
