데이터를 읽고 이해한 것을 활용해 문제 해결을 하는 것은 4차 산업혁명 시대의 필수적 교육 역량 중 하나이다. 따라서 상품 판매 애플리케이션 서비스 디자인과 디지털 데이터를 활용한 융복합 교육에 서도 확대될 필요가 있다. 대한민국 소상공인으로서 재고품 해결과 홍보는 소득증대를 위해 해결해야 하는 문제이며 이런 문제들에 대해서 재고 관리 업체나 홍보 전문 업체에 맡기지 않는 이상 문제 해결에 어려움을 겪는다. 본 논문은 상품 판매 애플리케이션 기반으로 하는 소상공인들을 위한 애플리케이션의 구현 내용을 소 개하는 논문이다. 설정한 지역을 기반으로 재고품 할인 판매, 붐비지 않는 시간대 할인 판매, 앱과 사이니지를 연동한 오프라인 홍보 서비스 기능을 추가하여 이용성을 향상시킨 것이 기존 상품 판매 플랫폼 애플리케이션 과의 차별점이다. 본 논문에서는 소상공인들을 위한 재고품 할인 판매, 붐비지 않는 시간대 할인 판매, 앱과 사 이니지를 연동한 서비스를 지원하는 애플리케이션을 제안하는 것이 목적이며 결론적으로 상품 판매 애플리케 이션 서비스에 있어서 기존의 방식과는 다른 서비스의 기회를 제공함으로써 소비자와 판매자 모두 상호 이익 을 거두는 방안을 제시하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 향후 서비스 디자인 분야에서 디지털 데이터를 활용하는 교육 이 이루어진다면 소상공인들의 경쟁력 향상과 매출의 증대를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

Reading and understanding data to solve problems is one of the essential educational competencies in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Therefore, product sales application services need to be expanded in convergence education using design and data. As a small business owner in Korea, marketing and promoting inventory is a problem that must be solved to increase income, and small business owners have difficulty solving these problems unless they leave them to inventory management companies or public relations companies. This paper introduces the implementation of applications for small business owners based on product sales applications. The difference from existing product sales platform applications is that it improves usability by adding discounts on inventory, discounts on non-crowded times, and offline promotion service functions linked to apps and signage. The purpose of this paper is to propose an application that supports inventory discounts for small business owners, non-crowded discount sales, and services linked to apps and signage. In conclusion, this paper aims to present a way for both consumers and sellers to reap mutual benefits by providing opportunities for services different from conventional methods in product sales application services. If education using digital data is provided in the service design field in the future, it can be expected to improve the competitiveness of small business owners and increase sales.

사람은 환경에 영향을 받는 동물이다. 그리고 현대인들에게 가장 밀접한 환경은 도시다. 가끔 도시의 옥외광고물들을 보면서 우리는 과연 이를 어떻게 받아들이며 영향을 받고 사는 것일까에 대한 의구심을 가지게 된다. 근래에 각 시 당국은 옥외광고에 대한 정비에 상당한 관심을 보이고 있다. 물론 과거 올림픽과 월드컵행사 때에도 비슷한 모습을 보인 적이 있다. 그런데, 시간이 많이 흘렀음에도 여전히 옥외광고물로 인한 도시 환경은 크게 달라지지 않고 있다. 다행히 근래에 각 시 당국이 주도한 청계천 주변 상가 간판 개선 사업과 성남시 모란역과 태평역 주변 상가 개선 사업 등은 어느 정도 가시적 효과를 거두었다고 평가된다. 그런데, 이 조차도 더는 주변으로 확대되지 못하고 있는 상태다. 그 이유는 무엇일까? 아마도 시 당국과 소매점주들이 서로를 이해하지 못한 체 그냥 일회성 전시 행정으로 진행되었기 때문이 아닌가 생각한다. 시 당국은 적은 인원과 예산으로 정비를 주도하다 보니 무엇인가 보여주기 위한 행정으로 흘러갈 수 밖에 없고, 소매점주들은 경기가 좋지 않은 상황에서 좋은 줄 알지만 옥외광고물까지 신경을 쓸 여력이 없다. 거기에 1년 단위에서 2년 단위로 전세 계약이 이루어지는 소매점주들 입장에서 옥외광고물에 재투자하기는 무리가 있는 것이다.이에 우리 정부의 옥외광고 정비 시행 결과 해당 지역에 대한 호의도는 높게 나타났다. 이러한 시도가 더 장기적으로 확산되려면 어떠한 방안들이 있을지 고찰해보았다. 하나의 제안으로 시당국, 소매점주, 소비자(도시민)가 윈윈(WIN WIN)하려면 서로에 대한 깊이 있는 이해를 바탕으로 시 당국은 정책을 이끌고, 소매점주들은 규제 때문이 아니라 자신의 사업에도 도움이 된다는 인식하에 ‘자율 정비 의지’를 확대해 나간다면 이는 결국 도시민=소비자에게 좀 더 쾌적한 도시환경이 될 것이라 생각한다.

Human beings are biological existence that is influenced by environment. In that sense, no environment is closer to human beings than cities. We are often curious about our perspective toward outdoor advertisements and their effect on us when we look at them in cities. Recently, city officials have a considerable interest in outdoor advertisements. They showed a great deal of interest in outdoor advertising in 2002 when Korea & Japan World Cup 2002 was held, too. Though much time has passed by, urban environment has not changed very much by outdoor advertising. Fortunately, the outdoor advertising and signage control in Cheonggaecheon Stream and shopping district signage control in the area adjacent to Moran subway station and the surrounding shopping district in Seongnam city, which the city officials spearheaded, are considered to have achieved some tangible results. Meanwhile, those improvements have been limited within the targeted boundary. What is the reason for that? That may be because the improvements resulting from outdoor advertising and signage control were designed and implemented by civil servants bent on showing off achievements to the public, putting no emphasis on the consensus with retailers. Faced with constraints on manpower and budget for the outdoor advertising and signage control, city officials have no choice but just to show that they did something even if the project does not meet real needs of the public. Worse, retailers cannot even afford to pay attention to outdoor signs though they welcome outdoor signage improvement projects which they think will help spur their sales and revenue. Furthermore, shop owners cannot afford to invest in outdoor signs as their rent contract period ranges from one year to two years only. In response to that, this study aimed to examine governments plan for outdoor advertising and signage control in Korea and compare it with that of other countries in an attempt to shed light on realistic problems with outdoor advertising and signage control and explore measures that may help promote outdoor advertising and signage control over the long-term. One of the win-win solutions for city officials, shop owners, consumers(urban citizens) may be to encourage them to be more willing to control outdoor advertising and signage by themselves based on the understanding that it helps spur their sales and revenue, not because of government regulation, ultimately making cities look more pleasant for urban citizens(consumers).

디지털 네이티브(Digital Natives)의 특성에 따른 디지털 사이니지(Digital Signage) 수용에 관한 연구: 디지털 사이니지의 유형을 중심으로

본 연구는 디지털 네이티브 성향이 디지털 사이니지 미디어의 수용에 어떠한 영향력을 미치는지 확인하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위하여, 먼저 디지털 네이티브 집단의 특성을 ‘즉시성’, ‘친숙성’, ‘표현성’으로 도출하였다. 이후 이러한 성향이 단순터치형과인터렉티브형 디지털 사이니지의 인지, 흥미, 사용의도와 같은 수용과정에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보았다. 결과적으로, 단순터치형디지털 사이니지의 경우에는 디지털 네이티브 성향 중 ‘즉시성’과 ‘친숙성’이 미디어에 대한 인지, 흥미, 사용의도를 자극하는 중요한 변인임을 확인하였다. 인터렉티브형 디지털 사이니지의 경우에는, ‘친숙성’, ‘표현성’이 미디어에 대한 인지를 자극하는 중요한 변인인 것으로 나타났다. ‘즉시성’, ‘친숙성’은 미디어에 대한 흥미를 유도하였으며, ‘즉시성’, ‘표현성’은 미디어의 사용의도에 중요한 변인임이 드러났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 디지털 사이니지에 대한 관심과 접근 행동을 유도하기 위한 미디어 전략 수립에 관련한 함의를 제안하고 있다.

This study attempts to identify the tendency at Digital Natives of the adoption of Digital Signage as DOOH media. To this goal, this research classified 3 tendencies of Digital Natives as Immediateness, Familiarity, Expressionism and analyzed how these tendencies influence to awareness, interest, and adoption intention of Digital Signage types(simple touch type and interactive type). In case of simple touch type of Digital Signage, Immediateness and Familiarity are important variables to stimulate adoption of Digital Signage. In case of Interactive type of Digital Signage, Familiarity and Expressionism are useful variables to increase media awareness. Immediateness and Familiarity are effective to interest in Digital Signage. Immediateness and Expressionism are good for adoption intention of Digital Signage. The results of this study is based on the implications for the media strategy for access to Digital Signage.

Digital Signage System Based on Intelligent Recommendation Model in Edge Environment: The Case of Unmanned Store

This paper proposes a digital signage system based on an intelligent recommendation model. The proposed system consists of a server and an edge. The server manages the data, learns the advertisement recommendation model, and uses the trained advertisement recommendation model to determine the advertisements to be promoted in real time. The advertisement recommendation model provides predictions for various products and probabilities. The purchase index between the product and weather data was extracted and reflected using correlation analysis to improve the accuracy of predicting the probability of purchasing a product. First, the user information and product information are input to a deep neural network as a vector through an embedding process. With this information, the product candidate group generation model reduces the product candidates that can be purchased by a certain user. The advertisement recommendation model uses a wide and deep recommendation model to derive the recommendation list by predicting the probability of purchase for the selected products. Finally, the most suitable advertisements are selected using the predicted probability of purchase for all the users within the advertisement range. The proposed system does not communicate with the server. Therefore, it determines the advertisements using a model trained at the edge. It can also be applied to digital signage that requires immediate response from several users.

There is an increase in the need of an unified manual for library signage system, due to recent increase in library construction or remodeling. This paper, therefore, can be a basic research to develop library signage system manual. Based on an anual released from KLA and the sum of opinions of expert groups, this research proposes a concrete list of contents for library signage system manual as follows. First, there is a need of theoretical basis of library signage system. Second, for the actual practices of signage system, planning, check list, and standard terms shall be necessary.

본 연구는 옥외 Interactive Digital Signage 의 Interactive 광고를 연구 대상으로 하고, 옥외 Interactive Digital Signage 의 광고를 전통적인 형태의 광고와 비교하여 소비하는 경향에 미치는 영향을 연구한다. 문헌 자료와 실 사례 분석의 연구방법으로 선행 연구는 아울러 인터넷 및 인공지능의 발전이 Interactive Digital Signage 광고 생산에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 소비 추세와 습관을 결합하여 Interactive Digital Signage 광고의 특징과 199IT Interactive Digital Signage 인터넷 자원 데이터 창고의 데이터를 근거로 하여 실례 분석 방법으로 Interactive의 광고에 소비자의 소비 경향 영향의 3가지 요인이 있다는 것을 제출한다. 목적은 이후 기업이 Interactive Digital Signage를 사용하여 광고 투자에 대한 참고를 진행한다. 기업을 도와 생산품의 판매량을 높이고, 상품 가치와 거래처에 게 브랜드에 대한 신뢰도를 높인다.

In this study, the Interactive advertising in the Outdoor Interactive Digital Signage is taken as the research object, and the effect of the advertising in the Outdoor Interactive Digital Signage compared to the traditional advertising on consumer propensity is studied. Based on the research methods of literature data and case analysis, we first researched and analyzed the impact of the development of the Internet and artificial intelligence on Interactive Digital Signage advertising, combined with consumer trends and habits, according to the characteristics of Interactive Digital Signage advertising, and '199IT-Internet data Based on the data in the Resource Library, and using an example analysis method, three reasons for the impact of Interactive digital signage advertisements on consumer spending tendencies are proposed. The purpose is to provide reference for future companies to use Interactive digital signage for ad placement and help companies. Increase product sales to increase product value and customer trust in the brand.

본 연구는 새로운 디지털 매체의 발달과 도입으로 인하여 급변하는 도시 환경 과 맞물려 변화하고 있는 공공미술의 영역 확장에 대한 사례와 의미를 분석하고 적용하려는 목적으로 접근하였다. 특히, 디지털 사이니지를 활용한 현대의 공공미 술은 기존의 물리적 공간과 의미를 확장할 수 있기 때문에, 이에 대해 논의할 필요 가 있다. 먼저 연구와 분석을 위해 공공미술의 흐름과 변화의 방향에 대해 알아보 았다. 또한 국내 사례로써 ‘옥외광고물자유표시구역’으로 지정된 서울 강남구 삼성 역 일대의 디지털 사이니지 활용 사례와 ‘미드나잇 모먼트’ 같은 해외 사례 분석을 통하여 연구에 적용 하였다. 이를 통해 기존 공공미술의 물리적인 장소 특성이 인 간-장소-매체가 유기적으로 연결되는 유비쿼터스 공간으로 변화하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and apply the case and meaning of the expansion of the area of public art, which is changing with the rapidly changing urban environment due to the development and introduction of new digital media. In particular, modern public art using digital signage can expand the existing physical space and meaning. Therefore, there is a need for discussion of this issue. First of all, this study examined the flow of public art and the direction of change for research and analysis. In addition, this study was applied to the study through the use of digital signage around Samsung Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, which was designated as an “outdoor advertising free display zone”, and overseas cases such as “midnight moment”. Through this, it was found that the physical place characteristics of the existing public art changed into the despatial characteristics in which the human-place-medium was organically connected.

This study evaluates the evacuation efficiency of conventional static emergency exit signs compared with dynamic exit signage incorporating congestion monitoring in order to enhance public safety measures. To support the analysis, both fire and evacuation simulations were conducted based on a reconstructed model of a Daegu subway station in South Korea as a case study. Fire scenarios were simulated using PyroSim and Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS), while evacuation behavior was analyzed using Pathfinder. The station geometry was reconstructed as a three-level underground structure with corrected parameters, including floor heights and slab thickness, to improve realism. Conventional emergency exit signs are unable to respond to dynamic congestion conditions, often resulting in bottlenecks that hinder evacuation flow. In contrast, the proposed dynamic exit signage detects congestion and dynamically redirects occupants toward safer and less crowded routes, thereby enhancing evacuation performance. Three simulation scenarios were considered: (1) conventional static emergency exit signs, (2) dynamic exit signage, and (3) optimized dynamic exit signage applied assuming that the doors of both trains are open. Performance was evaluated using total evacuation time and maximum evacuee throughput. The results indicate that dynamic exit signage significantly reduces evacuation time and increases evacuation capacity compared to conventional systems. Furthermore, the optimized system demonstrates additional improvements by adaptively responding to congestion patterns during evacuation. These findings suggest that dynamic exit signage can substantially improve life safety in underground transit facilities and provide valuable insights for future subway design and emergency planning.

In this paper we present IoT compliant HD Digital Signage Controller design using Raspberry Pi. Nowadays, the digital signage system have gained increasing popularity and rapidly growing communications medium that offers a wide range of exciting ways with customers, enhance brand awareness, increase sales and margin uplift by replacing the traditional static signage system. This paper presents a cost-effective IoT based HD Digital Signage Controller (DSC) using R-Pi computer that can use various kinds of displays in order to make the system as efficient and affordable as possible to provide advertisement or other relevant information to people in public areas. The system is designed in such way the information about surrounding related place is taken through sensors and directly uploaded to the internet, and thus can be accessed anytime and displayed on screens by using Raspberry Pi that serves as controller in the system. The design and implementation of the system developed by using python programming language and its hardware consists of sensors, Arduino, Raspberry Pi 3 model B board and the displays. The main targets of this study are build a cost effective Digital Signage system as well as broadcasting information at display contents in public areas and control those digital signs.

In this paper we present the combination of location based mobile advertisement services and dynamic digital signage markets has been developing recent days to provide consumer admired visual mobile advertisement on all kind transportation vehicles. In spite of that, the digital signage advertisement content management is still not that easy to manage the content dynamically as well operation is most time consuming to handle the contents dynamically in digital signage business. As location based services is most impactful service in shopping, the location responsive advertisement on vehicle signage will be most desirable mobile advertisement to help people migrate from one place to another place for travel or stay. This paper propose a mobile location responsive digital signage system for vehicles using the GPS and wireless infrastructure integrated with digital signage system. This proposed research use the centralized digital signage system architecture for the mobile advertisement application and this system can be expanded to different vehicles for digital advertisement including buses, trucks, train, air vehicle and any other form of mobile advertising vehicles. Also, this present an effective advertisement recommendation algorithm, by which the advertisement can be selected broadcasted for the right advertisement ventures more effectively as the service requested from advertiser. This paper present the emulated experimental result to evidence the proposed dynamic vehicle signage system performed better than compared with traditional signage random advertising. The emulated result proves that the advertisement recommendation algorithm can effectively works out the targeted key audiences in location responsive region the algorithm evaluated

This study empirically analyzed the effect of advertising appeal types (information appeal vs. image appeal) and interactivity level (low vs. medium vs. high) of digital signage on consumers’ advertising attitude and sharing intention. As a result of the study, first First, it was found that medium interactivity digital signage had a more positive impact on advertisement attitude and sharing intention than high- or low-interactivity signage. Additionally, rational/informative advertising was found to have a more positive impact on advertisement attitude and sharing intention than emotional/image advertising when the interactivity level was medium. Second, when the interactivity level of digital signage was high, it was found that emotional advertising had a positive impact on attitude, but both rational and emotional advertising had a negative impact on sharing intention. Third, , rational advertising was found to have a positive impact on attitude and sharing intention when the interactivity level of digital signage was low. Given the increasing convergence of digital media, particularly with respect to advertising signage, the results of this study provide important strategic direction for the construction of effective advertising with regard to appeal type and interactivity level.

본 논문에서는 상업적 및 공적 업무를 위해 필수적인 커뮤니케이션 도구로 인식되고 있는 디지털사이니지의 효과에 관한 연구들을 분석하여 소비자의 인게이지먼트를 향상시킬 수 있는 대안을 제안하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면, 디지털사이니지의 감성적 광고가 인지적 광고보다 쇼핑객들의 행동을 긍정적 구매 행동으로 이끌었으며 구매 환경을 이해하는데도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 공적 차원에서는 타겟 공중에게 얼마나 적합한 채널과 메시지 인가에 따라 커뮤니티의 문제를 해결하는데 있어서 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 양 차원에서 해당 디지털사이니 지의 콘텐츠에 대한 소비자들의 인게이지먼트는 어느 정도인지 그리고 어떠한 디지털사이니지의 콘텐츠가 소비자의 높은 인게이지먼트를 가져오는지 등을 측정하는 경우는 거의 없었다. 따라서, 디지털사이니지가 소비자의 인게이지먼 트를 높이기 위해서는 복합적이면서도 융합적인 콘텐츠를 기반으로 소비자 맞춤식으로 실행되어야 할 것이며 앞으로는 디지털사이니지 기기와 관련된 기술뿐만 아니라 창의적 콘텐츠 개발과 관련된 연구에도 초점을 두어야 할 것이다.

This study suggested the alternatives for improving consumers’ engagement with digital signage (DS) by analyzing the researches of the effectiveness of DS in marketing and public areas, which is recognized as an essential communication tool for commercial or public matters. According to the results, affective DS ad content of DS resulted in positive shoppers’ buying behaviors and perceiving buying environment; DS was also effective for public affairs, which how proper channel and message for the target public resulted in solving community problems. However, it was rare to measure precisely the level of consumers’ engagement with DS content and what DS content aroused higher engagement in both areas. Thus, DS content should be more customized based on multiple converged contents for consumers’ engagement and the research efforts of DS should be focused on the development of not only its device technology, but also creative content.

본 연구는 행정안전부의 시범사업 중 하나인 ‘세종특별시 디지털 사이니지 국가시범사업’을 위한 기초연구를 기반으로 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 첨단 기술이 결합된 스마트 플랫폼인 ‘디지털 사이니지’를 ‘공공 서비스 콘텐츠 플랫폼’으로 보고 콘텐츠의 배치를 계획하기 위한 전략이 기술우위 공급자 대신 해당 지역 커뮤니티 또는 사용자에 초점을 맞춰야 한다고 전제하였다. 이러한 맥락에서 첨단 기술 기반의 공공 서비스에 대한 수요 증가에 대응하여, ‘공공 디지털 사이니지 서비스’ 개발 전략에 관해 연구하였다. 또한 동 전략을 쉽게 수립하거나 실행할 수 있도록 ‘디지털 사이니지 서비스 툴’들을 설계하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 ‘디지털 사이니지 기능’을 ‘디지털 광고 기능’ 뿐만 아니라 ‘공공 및 문화 서비스 기능’으로 확대, 발전시키는 전략을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 연구의 최종 목표는 시민들의 적극적인 참여와 인터랙티브 미디어의 혁신적인 활용을 통해 ‘세종시 상권 활성화 프로젝트’가 창출하는 공공 가치를 추구하는 것이라고 할 수 있다.

This study is based on the ‘National Pilot Project on Digital Signage in Sejong Special City’, one of the pilot projects initiated by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security. This project was an attempt to present the digital signage as a ‘public service content platform’ integrated with smart technologies. This study suggests that the planning strategy for placing public service contents on digital signage platform should focus on interests of local communities or users rather than high-tech suppliers of digital signage. In consideration of growing needs for smart technology-based public service, this study concentrates on the strategy for developing ‘public digital signage services’. In addition, ‘digital signage service tools’ were designed to easily establish or execute the strategy. The aim of this study is developing the strategy to make digital signage a public cultural service platform as well as a digital advertisement tool. The final goal of this study is to demonstrate public value creation performance of the ‘Revitalisation Project of Sejong City’s Commercial Districts’, which was possible thanks to the proactive involvement of citizens coupled with progressive utilization of interactive media.

This research aimed at testing the persuasion effects created by the media façade as a new format of digital communication through self-concept clarity (SCC) and engagement. Results of parameter estimates showed that SCC is positively related to engagement with statistical significance. In other words, a higher SCC resulted in a higher engagement of the digital media façade. In addition, the engagement of digital media façade is positively related to the attitude toward advertising with statistical significance, which indicates that higher engagement of digital media façade resulted in a more positive attitude toward advertising. In addition, no statistically significant relation was found between the engagement of digital media façade and purchase intention. Finally, attitude toward advertising was determined to be positively related to purchase intention with statistical significance, which reveals that more positive attitude toward advertising results in increased purchase intention.

본 연구는 OOH 광고 효과의 객관적이고 과학적인 측정을 위한 지표를 설정하기 위해 모바일 기지국 데이터와 와이파이감지 데이터를 활용하여 무역센터 일대 디지털 사이니지 주변의 유동 인구를 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 모바일의 기지국 데이터만 가지고 무역센터 일대 자유표시구역의 유동 인구를 측정하는 거시적 방법에서 와이파이 감지 기술을 활용하여 디지털 사이니지가 설치된 특정 구역의 유동 인구를 측정하는 미시적인 방법을 동시에 비교분석하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 이 결과를 기초로 디지털 사이니지 광고와 콘텐츠 전략을 수립하는 데 있어 일별, 시간별 그리고 매체별에 따라 차별적인 커뮤니케이션 전략을 수립할 수 있는 전략적인 기초가 될 것으로 기대된다.

This study tried to examine the floating population around digital signage in the trade center area by utilizing mobile base station data and Wi-Fi sensing data to establish indicators for objective and scientific measurement of OOH advertising effects. This study attempted to examine the floating population around the digital signage at the trade center using mobile base station data and Wi-Fi sensing data in order to establish an index for objective and scientific measurement of OOH advertising effect. This study compares and analyzes at the same time a microscopic method of measuring the floating population of a specific area where digital signage is installed using Wi-Fi detection technology from the macro method of measuring the floating population of the free display area around the trade center using only mobile base station data It is meaningful in that it did. Based on this result, it is expected to be a strategic basis for establishing a differentiated communication strategy for each day, hour, and medium in establishing a digital signage advertisement and content strategy.
