In this paper, we estimate the mean number of objects in the M/H2/1 model for web service when the mean object size in the M/H2/1 model is equal to that of the M/G/1/PS and M/BP/1 models. To this end, we use the mean object size obtained by assuming that the mean latency of deterministic model is equal to that of M/H2/1, M/G/1/PS, and M/BP/1 models, respectively. Computational experiments show that if the shape parameter of the M/BP/1 model is 1.1 and the system load is greater than 0.35, the mean number of objects in the M/H2/1 model when mean object size of M/H2/1 model is the same as that of M/G/1/PS model is almost equal to the mean number of objects in the M/H2/1 model when the mean object size of M/H2/1 model is the same as that of M/BP/1 model. In addition, as the upper limit of the M/BP/1 model increases, the number of objects in the M/H2/1 model converges to one, which increases latency. These results mean that it is efficient to use small-sized objects in the web service environment.

The targets of cyber-attacks are not limited to the websites and internal IT systems of shipping agencies. Ships and ports have become important targets for cyber attackers. This paper examines the current state of ship network security, introduces the International Maritime Organization's resolution on ship network security management, and summarizing the cyber-attacks in maritime so the readers can have a general understanding of maritime environment.

As the sixth generation (6G) promising technique, intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) has recently attracted much attention. The IRS based wireless communication is expected to deploy the upcoming 6G mobile networks, to increase energy and spectrum efficiency in the fifth generation (5G) wireless networks. In this paper, we compare the bit-error rate (BER) performances for phase-shift schemes of IRS non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA). First, we derive a BER expression for the equalizing phase-shift scheme in IRS-NOMA networks. Then we compare the BER of the equalizing phase-shift scheme to that of the identical phase-shift scheme in IRS-NOMA networks, and show the BER improvement of the equalizing phase-shift scheme IRS NOMA over the identical phase-shift scheme IRS NOMA. Furthermore, we also validate the proposed analytical BER for the equalizing phase-shift scheme in IRS-NOMA by Monte Carlo simulations, and demonstrate that they well match each other.

In this paper, we explore a new type of Android evasive malware based on the Sequential Probability Ratio Test (SPRT) that does not perform malicious task when it discerns that dynamic analyzer is input generator. More specifically, a new type of Android evasive malware leverages the intuition that dynamic analyzer provides as many inputs within a certain amount of time as possible to Android apps to be tested, while human users generally provide necessary inputs to Android apps to be used. Under this intuition, it harnesses the SPRT to discern whether dynamic analyzer runs in Android system or not in such a way that the number of inputs per time slot exceeding a preset threshold is regarded as evidence that inputs are provided by dynamic analyzer, expediting the SPRT to decide that dynamic analyzer operates in Android system and evasive malware does not carry out malicious task.

Wideband RF Interference Reduction Module

Interference always exists between wireless communication systems used in the same frequency band or adjacent frequency bands. In order to deploy a new wireless communication system such as a 5G system, a new frequency band must be allocated to the system. For this purpose, after analyzing interference between the existing system and the new system, a method of setting a frequency guard band or a minimum separation distance has been used as a passive method to limit the interference effect. This paper presents a wideband RF IRM(Interference Reduction Module) that can actively reduce the influence of interference between wireless communication systems. The wideband RF IRM can reduce the interference effects of 5G signals on satellite signals. The principle and structure of the wideband RF IRM are presented. The wideband RF IRM can suppress approximately 20dB of interference signal in 100MHz bandwidth when only interference signal exists. It also shows that when a 5G interference signal of -45dBm/100MHz and a satellite signal of -55dBm/40MHz exist simultaneously at a center frequency of 3.83GHz, about 15dB of 5G interference signal can be reduced in the frequency range covered by the satellite signal. The experimental results demonstrate that the wideband RF IRM can actively reduce the 5G interference signal on the satellite signal and can be used for the purpose of reducing the interference effect in a similar environment.

In the 21st century, information collection and information provision based on digital informatization and intelligent automation are emerging as one of the social problems in the society for the elderly and the vulnerable groups in the welfare society including the disabled, and various methods are being studied to find realistic alternatives. Among these factors, the problem of the elderly living alone is emerging as the most serious, and as a realistic approach to solve some problems by applying information devices, it is a monitoring system using the Internet of Things(IoT). The need for an optimized system is emerging. In this study, the state of the elderly and the elderly living alone can be measured remotely by applying IoT technology. We present the research cases of a Breathing Sensor-based Smart Monitoring System that is used as a smart information system and used as a monitoring system for the elderly and infirm when it is identified as deceased through state detection

Currently, the world is facing severe inflation due to Corona and the war in Ukraine, and it is causing a lot of difficulties for us. SURF based Hair Matching and VR Hair Cutting

Hair styling has a significant influence on human social perception. An increasing number of people are learning hair styling and obtaining hair designer licenses. However, it takes a considerable amount of money and time to learn professional hairstyle and beauty techniques for hair styling. Since COVID-19, there has been a growing need for offline and video lectures due to the decline in onsite training opportunities. This study provides a field practice environment in which real hair beauty is performed in a virtual space. Further, the hairstyle that is most similar to the user's hair taken with a webcam or mobile phone is determined through an image matching system using the speeded up robust features (SURF) method. The matching hairstyle was created into a three-dimensional (3D) hair model. The created 3D hair model uses a head-mounted display (HMD) and a controller that enables finger tracking through mapping to reproduce the haircutting scissors' motion while providing a feeling of real hair beauty.

Study on Timing Failures in Cyber-Physical Systems

Cyber-physical systems (CPSs) can solve real problems by utilizing closely connected resources in the cyber world. Most problems arise because the physical world is uncertain and unpredictable. To address this uncertainty, information pouring from numerous devices must be collected in real-time, and each interconnected device must share the information. At this time, CPS must meet timing-related techniques and strict timing constraints that can deliver accurate information within predefined deadlines in order to interact closely beyond simply connecting the cyber and physical worlds. Timing errors in safety-critical systems, such as automobiles, aviation, and medical systems, can lead to catastrophic disasters. In this paper, we classify timing problems into two types: real-time delay and synchronization problems. The results of this study can be used in the entire process of CPS system design, implementation, operation, verification, and maintenance. As a result, it can contribute to securing the safety and reliability of CPS.

Various types of attendance management systems are being introduced in a remote working environment and research on using face recognition is in progress. To ensure accurate worker’s attendance, a face recognition-based attendance management system must analyze every frame of video, but face recognition is a heavy task, the number of the task should be minimized without affecting accuracy. In this paper, we proposed a search model using time interval variation to minimize the number of face recognition task of recorded videos for attendance management system. The proposed model performs face recognition by changing the interval of the frame identification time when there is no change in the attendance status for a certain period. When a change in the face recognition status occurs, it moves in the reverse direction and performs frame checks to more accurate attendance time checking. The implementation of proposed model performed at least 4.5 times faster than all frame identification and showed at least 97% accuracy.

The aim of this research is to improve the effectiveness of digital media advertising because current advertisements –in digital signage - indiscriminately appeals to the general public rather than to a specific target. In order to deliver efficient and customized advertisement information, an IoT human body detection sensor mounted on digital signage detected human faces and then classified them firstly by gender. The digital signage here is a smart digital signage that can analyze facial signals, discriminate them based on patterns, and apply the extracted data by displaying the corresponding information to the user. In addition, by identifying the customer's location approaching the smart digital signage and displaying the optimized content information for the customer's location through an algorithm, the digital signage can dramatize the advertisement Thus, this is a study meant for improving information efficiency while reducing noise and driving power waste generated from unnecessary digital information reproduction.

Due to a series of online sex crimes cases and online class conversions caused by the spread of the coronavirus, alternatives to sex education in schools are urgently required. As a result of this study, the metaverse sex education platform was designed. Using this platform, learners are expected to cultivate correct adult awareness and digital citizenship. Within the metaverse platform, learners can participate more actively in learning. Instead of exposing one's name and face in a place dealing with sensitive gender issues, one can participate in education through his or her decorated avatar and participate in education much more actively than face-to-face education and express one's opinion through chat. In addition, education by level can be received regardless of time and place, which can have the effect of bridging the educational gap between urban and rural areas. In this paper, we propose a new sex education platform without time and space constraints by utilizing metaverse.

Immersion is a features of VR technology, and the most important condition for evaluating VR experience. With the improvement of VR technology, including the presentation accuracy of VR content, the degree of interaction is diversified, the user’s immersion in VR equipment should not only be improved technically, but researched from the user’s perception level. The paper defines two important factors, immersion and presence, in a participant's experience with a VR device. Although the current technology can already simulate the real environment information visually and audibly, the content of the VR environment is not enough for us to achieve a completely real experience. Based on the Flow theory of Csikszentmihalyi and the sensory immersion achieved by current technology, this paper proposes the key factors of how to achieve conscious immersion for users in VR media. We prove that immersion is an indicator of the true degree of sensory simulation of VR equipment and is the basis for the realization of flow experience. What really makes the participant feel a perfect experience is the content provided by the VR environment and gave participants a sense of presence, it is not limited to video or games. On the premise of the Multi-Sensory, Immersion, Interactivity and Imagination experience achieved by using virtual reality technology, combined with the content creation of flow theory, the interactive immersion achieved by users is an important method to realize the awareness immersion of VR equipment.

With the development of digital content software production technology and the technological progress of related hardware, the social status quo in the post-epidemic era, the popularization and application of 5G networks, the market and consumers’ increasing demand for digital content products, artificial intelligence, virtual digital human, virtual Idols, virtual live, self-media content and metaverse-related content industries are all developing rapidly. Virtual idols, virtual digital human, etc. are not only accelerating innovation in production technology. The economic cost, technical difficulty and time requirements of production are also greatly reduced. With the arrival and development of the Metaverse, the author believes that the content industry with virtual digital humans as the core will continue to develop in the direction of refinement, specialization, facilitation and customization. In this article, we will analyze and study the production of virtual digital human based on Photoscan technology and Unreal Engine 5 Metahuman software, and discuss the application status and future development of related content.
