IP-based Wireless Sensor Networks (IP-WSNs) are gaining importance for their broad range of applications in health care, home automation, environmental monitoring, industrial control, vehicle telematics, and agricultural monitoring. In all these applications, a fundamental issue is the mobility in the sensor network, particularly with regards to energy efficiency. Because of the energy inefficiency of network-based mobility management protocols, they can be supported via IP-WSNs. In this paper, we propose a network-based mobility-supported IP-WSN protocol called mSFP, or the mSFP: “Multicasting-supported Inter-Domain Mobility Management Scheme in Sensor-based Fast Proxy Mobile IPv6 Networks”. Based on [8,20], we present its network architecture and evaluate its performance by considering the signaling and mobility cost. Our analysis shows that the proposed scheme reduces the signaling cost, total cost, and mobility cost. With respect to the number of IP-WSN nodes, the proposed scheme reduces the signaling cost by 7% and the total cost by 3%.With respect to the number of hops, the proposed scheme reduces the signaling cost by 6.9%, the total cost by 2.5%, and the mobility cost by 1.5%. With respect to the number of IP- WSN nodes, the proposed scheme reduces the mobility cost by 1.6%.
Applying Workload Shaping Toward Green Cloud Computing

Energy costs for operating and cooling computing resources in Cloud infrastructure have increased significantly up to the point where they would surpass the hardware purchasing costs. Thus, reducing the energy consumption can save a significant amount of management cost. One of major approach is removing hardware over-provisioning. In this paper, we propose a technique that facilitates power saving through reducing resource over provisioning based on virtualization technology. To this end, we use dynamic workload shaping to reschedule and redistribute job requests considering overall power consumption. In this paper, we present our approach to shape workloads dynamically and distribute them on virtual machines and physical machines through virtualization technology. We generated synthetic workload data and evaluated it in simulating and real implementation. Our simulated results demonstrate our approach outperforms to when not using no workload shaping methodology.
A Novel Impedance Matching Topology for Magnetically Coupled Wireless Power Transfer

A modified 4-coil magnetic resonance wireless power transfer (MRWPT) system is proposed. Four coils based on 2-coil system with additional two matching coils were used in this topology. When Tx-Rx distance is changed, the input impedance is changed. However, it can be adjusted by coil parameters of matching coils to maintain impedance matching for maximum efficiency. The equivalent circuit of MRWPT system was analyzed for both transmission function and optimum coupling coefficient of the matching coils. By using four spiral resonant coils, these design considerations was experimentally verified. The measured data agreed well with the calculated data and the transmission function of the proposed system was more efficient than that of conventional 2-coil system.
Automatic blood pressure measurement device using oscillometric method and Korotkoff sounds

The oscillometric method and Korotkoff sound method are the most common ways to measure the blood pressure. A new automatic blood pressure measurement device, which uses both oscillometric method and Korotkoff method, was developed. A pressure sensor was used to obtain cuff pressure and oscillation signal, and a microphone was used to detect Korotkoff sounds. Forty-five measurements from fifteen subjects were used for analysis. Correlation coefficients between the traditional auscultatory method and Korotkoff sound method were 0.9820 and 0.9721 for the systolic and diastolic blood pressure values, respectively. Standard deviations of differences for the systolic and diastolic blood pressure values were 1.3019 and 1.4495, respectively. Correspondingly, correlation coefficients between the traditional auscultatory method and oscillometric method using newly developed algorithm were 0.9651 and 0.9136 for the systolic and diastolic blood pressure values, with the standard deviations of 1.42 and 1.73, respectively. The results showed that the newly developed algorithm for oscillometirc method provide accurate blood pressure values, moreover, Korotkoff sound method using microphone provides even higher accuracy. Therefore, a new automatic device which utilizes both oscillometric method and Korotkoff sound method would provide the accurate and reliable blood pressure values.
Recovery Methods in Main Memory DBMS

Recently, to efficiently support the real-time requirements of RTLS( Real Time Location System) services, interest in the main memory DBMS is rising. In the main memory DBMS, because all data can be lost when the system failure happens, the recovery method is very important for the stability of the database. Especially, disk I/O in executing the log and the checkpoint becomes the bottleneck of letting down the total system performance. Therefore, it is urgently necessary to research about the recovery method to reduce disk I/O in the main memory DBMS. Therefore, In this paper, we analyzed existing log techniques and check point techniques and existing main memory DBMSs' recovery techniques for recovery techniques research for main memory DBMS.
Design of Hard Partition-based Non-Fuzzy Neural Networks

This paper propose a new design of fuzzy neural networks based on hard partition to generate the rules of the networks. For this we use hard c-means (HCM) clustering algorithm. The premise part of the rules of the proposed networks is realized with the aid of the hard partition of input space generated by HCM clustering algorithm. The consequence part of the rule is represented by polynomial functions. And the coefficients of the polynomial functions are learned by BP algorithm. The number of the hard partition of input space equals the number of clusters and the individual partitioned spaces indicate the rules of the networks. Due to these characteristics, we may alleviate the problem of the curse of dimensionality. The proposed networks are evaluated with the use of numerical experimentation.
A GTS Scheduling Algorithm for Voice Communication over IEEE 802.15.4 Multihop Sensor Networks

The recent increase in use of the IEEE 802.15.4 standard for wireless connectivity in personal area networks makes of it an important technology for low-cost low-power wireless personal area networks. Studies showed that voice communications over IEEE 802.15.4 networks is feasible by Guaranteed Time Slot (GTS) allocation; but there are some constraints to accommodate voice transmission beyond two hops due to the excessive transmission delay. In this paper, we propose a GTS allocation scheme for bidirectional voice traffic in IEEE 802.15.4 multihop networks with the goal of achieving fairness and optimization of resource allocation. The proposed scheme uses a greedy algorithm to allocate GTSs to devices for successful completion of voice transmission with efficient use of bandwidth while considering closest devices with another factor for starvation avoidance. We analyze and validate the proposed scheme in terms of fairness and resource optimization through numeral analysis.
Emergency Detection Method using Motion History Image for a Video-based Intelligent Security System

This paper proposed a method that detects emergency situations in a video stream using MHI (Motion History Image) and template matching for a video-based intelligent security system. The proposed method creates a MHI of each human object through image processing technique such as background removing based on GMM (Gaussian Mixture Model), labeling and accumulating the foreground images, then the obtained MHI is compared with the existing MHI templates for detecting an emergency situation. To evaluate the proposed emergency detection method, a set of experiments on the dataset of video clips captured from a security camera has been conducted. And we successfully detected emergency situations using the proposed method. In addition, the implemented system also provides MMS (Multimedia Message Service) so that a security manager can deal with the emergency situation appropriately.

We analyzed a periodic thick mushroom structure for use as an artificial magnetic conductor using mode-matching method. The fields in each region were represented by either Floquet modes or waveguide modes. By applying tangential electric and magnetic field continuity conditions and using matrix equations, unknown coefficients and dispersion diagram were calculated. The proposed model can account for the effects of oblique incidence. Simulation time using the method was much faster than the commercial tools. We found that the current method produces accurate results of reflection phase and dispersion diagram.
Clinical Information Interchange System using HL7-CDA

In highly developed society, information and communication technologies are widely used for better medical services. These information and communication technologies should be more and more acceptable in all hospitals for exchange medical records. EMR becomes more convenient than the previously used paper charts. It will be able to record medical institutions every time and dual treatment. Each is different specifications for each medical institution to use the program or document to exchange it. The personal clinic records still does not exchange well. To solve this gap between medical alienation, this paper describes the concepts of HL7-CDA and proposes types of telemedicine system. To resolve time and space constraints, new form of treatment methods presents in future directions after described about related systems. CDA enables electronic medical records to the each medical center and gradually expanded by exchanging the patient's medical records. This paper is using XML-based CDA documents as a hierarchical for medical information exchange standards compliant HL7-CDA documents. It could be possible currently used structural variety of multimedia data. Thus It is able to send and receive HL7-CDA- based medical information and clinical information to identify the medical institutions of medical information with interchange system design and building standards, and through mutual exchange of clinical information.
A Case Study of Green Ambience through Green Cloud Computing

Green cloud computing refers to the green ambient benefits that information technology services delivered over the Internet can offer for the society. The green meaning environment friendly and cloud computing is a traditional symbol for the Internet and a type of service provider. Cloud computing has drastically increased the number of datacenters and the energy consumption of data centers and that has become a critical issue which is extremely important in green ambience. These days the cloud data center needs high energy resources that leads to high operational cost and also maximizes CO2 - carbon footprint that pollutes the ambience which is not to be considered as green ambience. So we need to provide a way that leads us to green ambience. Cloud computing for the green ambience should be designed in a way which will utilize less energy resources and to minimize the CO2 –carbon footprint, known as green cloud .In this paper we discuss various elements of Clouds which contributes to minimize the total energy consumption and the carbon emission so as to enable green ambience through green cloud computing.

The mVoIP service is the technology which focuses on the wireless data service as the IP network having the transmission rate of 100 Mbps classes on the high-speed middle of movement through the WiFi, WiBro and 3G mobile radio communication network, and etc. and is developed. Since 2010, the mVoIP (mobile VoIP) service shows the rapid growth due to 4G-LTE service seriously disclosed from July with the Smart phone and 2,011 it begins to be rapidly popularized. In this research, additionally the mVoIP service industry activation plan is presented with the trends of technology development including the chip-set/module/terminal, etc. based upon local and foreign market trend searchlight through the market demand analysis. The mVoIP service downloads App to the mobile apparatus and or can provide the service as the software through the WiFi network. Therefore, the change which is large in the products development aspect is to be have no. Expected to is being provided as the added service in the case of 4G-LTE as a matter of course, the service deployment where it is based on the market principle and demand needs is needed.
