Many people transfer from the automobile to the subway because of increasing in oil price and improvement of mass transit system of Seoul Metropolitan City. But Seoul Metropolitan Subway have brought out passengers discomfort because it is more crowded over the appropriateness because of very high utilization though it is highly technically facilitated. This study deals with the development and simulation study of subway train simulator. We performed the validity simulation study for the simulator for the interval from Sindorim station to Samsung station in Seoul Subway Line 2. We analyzed the simulation results considering crowdedness after we defined the concept of crowdedness. Also we accomplished the analysis of simulation results after simulation under the assumption that the crowdedness is alleviated by controlling the passengers using RFID technology.

The purpose of this study verifies: the relationship between self-leadership (behavioral-focused strategies, natural reward strategies, constructive thought pattern strategies) and innovative behavior, and mediator effect of trust in supervisor. In order to verify the relationship and mediator effect, data obtained from 140 employees working in business office in Ulsan Metropolitan City were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0. The findings are as follows: First, the relationship between self-leadership(behavioral- focused strategies, natural reward strategies, constructive thought pattern strategies) and trust in supervisor is positively related Second, There was also a positive correlation between the trust in supervisor and innovative behavior. Finally, trust in supervisor played as a partial mediator on the relationship between self-leadership(behavioral- focused strategies, natural reward strategies, constructive thought pattern strategies) and innovative behavior. Based on these findings, the implications and the limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

The objective of the present paper is to analyze the problems found in the operation of startup companies and to seek after their solutions. It is thus aimed at offering reasonable grounds for the government to work out long- and short-term strategies in an attempt to help and vitalize startup companies. In this context, following analysis was conducted to meet the objective of this study: First, it was analyzed here to determine if there was any difference in the application of management characters that were deemed to be important factors exercising drastic influence on competitiveness of startup companies directly as well as indirectly; and Second, it was empirically proved how management characters of startup companies affected their competitiveness. From the analysis, it was discovered as follows: First, characters of founders such as age, education and experience in management were found to differ depending on the extent that factors of managerial characters in startup companies were practically applied; and Second, the four factors of managerial characters that were classified by factor analysis turned out to have influence on variables of financial and non-financial competitiveness that were connected with competitiveness of a company.

At the spots of enterprises experiencing rapid environmental changes, necessity for ceaseless managemental innovation is raised. We can't deny that management quality is also a part of such managemental innovation. Introduction of management quality by an organization is different from introduction of other individual innovative techniques. Management quality is not one time project but complete historical change program to be pursued continuously. Furthermore, it must be understood as a strategic 'Quality Journey' looking for far future of an organization. Malcolm Baldrige Model has been increasingly used in Korea as a global standard for management quality. The model, however, has shown a number of limitations in application due to nonsystematic elements in the implementation process. The deployment process of the model should be detailed through a real world case study. In this research, we proposed a quality evaluation standard model which is suitable for the Korean public enterprise based on the Malcolm Baldrige Non-profit Criteria, and examined the model. A 7-Point Likert Scale was used based on the seven categories within the 2007 Malcolm Baldrige Non-profit Criteria: Leadership, Strategic Planning, Customer and Market Focus, Management Analysis and Knowledge Management, Workforce Focus, Process Management, and Results. Furthermore, we analysed the validity and causal relationship among the factors within the model. Through the above case study, following common factors for successful Malcolm Baldrige Model have been derived. The following is a summary of the results of this study. First, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs powerful support Leadership. Second, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs systematic Strategic Planning. Third, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs the continuous Customer and Market Focus. Fourth, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs systematic Measurement Analysis and Knowledge Management. Five, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs systematic Workforce Focus. Six, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs systematic Process Management. The finding are surely necessary factors to arrange the human resource management for upgraded management quality, those factors help to explain why all enterprises consider human resource as the strategic view.

Many studies on predicting and recommending information and products have been studying to meet customers' preference. Unnecessary information should be removed to satisfy customers' needs in massive information. The some information filtering methods to remove unnecessary information have been suggested but these methods have scarcity and scalability problems. Therefore, this paper explores a personalized recommendation system based on artificial neural network (ANN) to solve these problems. The insurance product recommendation is adapted as an example to demonstrate the proposed method. The proposed recommendation system is expected to recommended a suitable and personalized insurance products for customers' satisfaction.

This study examines the effect of brand personality on consumer's attitude. Previous research has suggested that the greater the congruity between consumer personalities and brand personalities, the greater the preference for the brand. However, empirical explorations of this hypothesis revealed that the congruity between consumer personalities and brand personalities is limitedly related, if ever, to the preference for the brand. It is partly because of the views of the previous researchers who considered human personality as a uni-dimensional concept, and partly because of the lack of consensus regarding what brand personality really is. This study examines the relative effect of brand personality on company image. In this study, brand personality is represented by the 'Big Five' factors - Sincerity, Excitement, Competence, Sophistication and Ruggedness - which were suggested by Jennifer Aaker.

Recently, technology growth and globalization of the market bring the age of knowledge based economy. These competitive environment require that the firms should cooperate among industry, academia, and institute. Cooperation between firms and universities for research and development is one of the most important business strategy in improving their business competences. This paper studied the factors of the firm involvement in the cooperation between firms and universities for technology development. To analyze the involvement factors, the data of 'R&D activity survey' of Ministry of Science and Technology(MOST) were used. Based on results of the analysis, 6 factors such as firm size, the years of firms, ratio of the researchers, the ratio of collaborative investments, the ratio of new product development, and the number of property right were significant. As the technology cooperation get flourished, the results of this research is expected to play a meaningful role as an basic data for developing the cooperation between industry and academia policy for technology development.

This paper investigates the optimal nesting system for a board. A hybrid method is used to search the optimal solution for rectangular nesting problem. This method is composed of heuristic approach algorithm. An engineer's experience of board nesting in which a loss occurred to sheet because of various individual error and diffidence. So, item layout at resource sheet were evaluated in engineering algorithm logic in which specially designed was installed. The nesting system consists of Lisp and Visual Basic. The system was controlled by AutoCAD so as to best item batch path test.
