국내 남성화장품의 용기 색채계획 - ‘미래파’를 중심으로 -

Numerous newly coined words related to men`s looking have been booming and more men pay attention to their looking in order to catch up with this trend. I studied and analyzed the color images applied to containers, packages, brand home pages, and advertisements of domestic men's cosmetic brands, under the assumption that the colour images of the domestic brands are less consistent than that of imported cosmetic brands. I aimed at making suggestions for effective color planning for men's cosmetic containers to have consistent color images which can represent the brand concept. I limited the range of this study to the brands with a inconsistent color images. Among the brands, I focused on 'Mirepa' which has a variety of cosmetic lines and made suggestions for color planning of its containers. For that purpose, I suggest a color palette which corresponds to the brand images and simulate the images based on this palette. Plan A emphasizes a 'fresh, clear' image based on the color combination of the brand 'Mirepa'. Plan B, laid out in this study, emphasizes a 'healthy, modern' image. Instilling a consistent colour to a brand is a way to establish an appropriate brand image that the enterprise pursues, which is required to strengthen the competitive power of the brand. In this point, the domestic men`s cosmetic brands should apply the brand`s colour in a more consistent and reasonable way, and manage it under a long-term view.

영화‘더셀(The Cell)'의 색채 이미지 분석

This analysis is based on the thought that color reflect some specific images. Color has a particular meaning. And that images is called an associated color image. The purpose of this study is to analyze the movie color of 'the cell'(directed by Tarsem Singh, 2000). It is analyzed according to the synopsis, characters, scenes. Consequently, it is found out that tone and hue are changed obviously as the story goes climax. Soft tone is changed into vivid, deep tone and light hue is changed into strong color compared to the beginning. And each color has various meanings for example, red is associated with a life, love, danger and sexuality. And there are two types of associated color images as one is fixed images and the other is creative images. So for making outstanding film, it is required that two types of images is used properly.

Color is one of the most powerful expressing methods in movie and it delivers main character's emotion and story flow .The purpose of this study is to analyze the movie color of Something's Gotta Give '. Fist, this study investigates the color of character's fashion and interior and makes up color palettes. Secondly, I found out the symbolism of colors in main scene. Through this study, I arrive at reach the conclusion that this movie uses color effectively. On the whole, this study investigates the underlying effects of color and their relation with other elements in the film in an effort to enhance a proper use of color in movie.

Recently, materials are becoming increasingly important as a factor to determine the general impression of products because styling design doesn't especially reveal vivid distinction. The purpose of this study is to examine the efficiency and benefits of Poly-Carbonate(PC) as a material for digital products and investigate what factors influence on the preference of gloss types by colors. The different gloss by color tones can be applied for product images to deliver only essential factors including visual depth and comparison/contrast of the feel of pure materials, and image languages by preference are expected to be used for planning products by colors.

De Stijl 건축의 색채 경향에 관한 연구

De Stijl movement, whose motto is a new design, not associating it with the past and excluding all traditional influence, exerted a great influence on the modern architecture through its geometrical form composition and the use of nonformal balance. The space in De Stijl means the particular visual tension coming from the relation between the means of formation and the scene, not the measurable and limited surface. Also colors viewed from De Stijl are the pure colors as the visual target, not the colors given by the physical spectrum. And these colors become three principles, that is, the quadrangle of De Stijl, the three primary colors (red, blue, yellow), and asymmetry. Van Doesburg mentions that the spatial tension by the use of color is the crucial point of De Stijl, claiming that space has to be formed by the help of color. However, architecture has been regarded as the container in which thought and culture are incorporated for a long time, and the colors have been thought to have the symbolic meaning or the gorgeous ornamental meaning. In spite of the fact that our architectural environment has been intimately related into the colors, it remains to be separated from the colors. Thus this study investigates De Stijl movement and the architecture concept concretely and analyzes the color tendency in De Stijl architecture on the basis of reconsideration of the color theory.

In the 7th art education course, the teacher's guide to the art education for the first and second grade school children focuses on the understanding of colors, not the expression of colors. The guide is divided into three categories: play and expression, appreciation, and understanding. In this respect, the wet-in-wet watercolor technique in Steiner's art education theory is to enable the children to experience and learn sensuously the changes of colors, not merely to understand colors. That is the main objective of the 7th revision of art education curriculums. The purpose of the revision is to enable the first and second grade school children to improve their creativity and imagination and to offer the basis to experience and understand colors and deal with them more efficiently. With reference to the color education theory and program by Steiner, the color education program of the study has been contrived. The Steiner's color education program is designed for the education of children's sense and sensibility through colors by enabling them to experience colors subjectively with their firsthand experience. The color education program for the first and second grade elementary school children, presented in this study, has six chapters of dry watercolor and wet-in-wet watercolor respectively and conveys the analysis of colors and color changes.

전통한복 배색의 현대적 적용 방안에 관한 연구 - 영화 [스캔들]을 중심으로 -

This study is aimed at seeking a way to make the traditional coloration applicable to present coloration without hampering the original value of them, and at coming up with a yardstick for color arrangement of Hanbok. To the end, this study researched the traditional colors of Hanbok in Korean film [Scandal]. The colors of traditional costumes for special events are composed of five-direction color and the coloration of 'Sansaeng' based on the principle of five element of the negative and positive is superior to other coloration. When we determine the position of traditional coloration on the image scale, it is put on the parts of 'pleasant', 'splendid', and 'secret and fragrant' images. Using colors of mid/high value and high chroma represents 'Pleasure', arranging opposite colors of similar tones resents 'splendidness'. Coloration of similar colors of high brightness and low chroma expresses 'Secret and fragrant' feeling. In the movie, though they toned down chroma, they did not hamper the original images of traditional coloration by using colors in certain range of color tone, hue, brightness, or chroma. The movie also showed unique color scheme by expanding base color from triple color to quadruple color.

Picture book that infant see need to be designed being considered for their emotion and level. Picture book is taking considerable parts as for educational purpose. We should recognize importance of picture book in addition to cover design, and To know which direction it will progress, We jugded that we need to study for looking into cover of picture book Cover disign that composed with illust and typo is role that express impling contents inside of it. In repect of picture book cover's design, we are going to figure out how typography which is one of visual element is expressed and how it is coordinated with it through cover. As assitant for illustratioin, sometimes being main part of it, Find out about typography which take a part of cover design and diverse types of typo graphy with domestic reference or other country's exemples. Cover design has protection, wrapping, giving information, promoting sales, advertisement, aesthetic funciton. and Knowing illustatio, typography, lay out, color which is visual element. In this study, Look into application exemples being based on above as picking up cover design centerizing 3rd generation through 7th generation bestseller. There is four types of Typography. First, it is the font for texts that is most common for cover design. The text fonts are fonts that have serif type and that do not change point, letter spacing, line spacing. Second type is using preexisting fonts. Third type is case of changing the preexisting point, letter spacing, line spacing, spacing and points of color. Fourth type is modifiying preexisting fonts, it is style font. Fourth, in case of using Calligraphy. Typography is not an only simple communication but also an unlimited possibility of a visual language for the illiterate children in the design of picture books for children. To make good picture books, the cover design should be prior to other things and to make a good cover design, recognition of appropriate concept, understanding the characteristics of children, and the picture books appling various kinds of cover design of molding sensibility to let children approach to the world of abundance and creativity should be in advance. Design and typography have come to a conclusion for developing according to the understanding the points of books, designing each book as to its concept and target, and proper use of ypography.
