Picture book that infant see need to be designed being considered for their emotion and level. Picture book is taking considerable parts as for educational purpose. We should recognize importance of picture book in addition to cover design, and To know which direction it will progress, We jugded that we need to study for looking into cover of picture book Cover disign that composed with illust and typo is role that express impling contents inside of it. In repect of picture book cover's design, we are going to figure out how typography which is one of visual element is expressed and how it is coordinated with it through cover. As assitant for illustratioin, sometimes being main part of it, Find out about typography which take a part of cover design and diverse types of typo graphy with domestic reference or other country's exemples. Cover design has protection, wrapping, giving information, promoting sales, advertisement, aesthetic funciton. and Knowing illustatio, typography, lay out, color which is visual element. In this study, Look into application exemples being based on above as picking up cover design centerizing 3rd generation through 7th generation bestseller. There is four types of Typography. First, it is the font for texts that is most common for cover design. The text fonts are fonts that have serif type and that do not change point, letter spacing, line spacing. Second type is using preexisting fonts. Third type is case of changing the preexisting point, letter spacing, line spacing, spacing and points of color. Fourth type is modifiying preexisting fonts, it is style font. Fourth, in case of using Calligraphy. Typography is not an only simple communication but also an unlimited possibility of a visual language for the illiterate children in the design of picture books for children. To make good picture books, the cover design should be prior to other things and to make a good cover design, recognition of appropriate concept, understanding the characteristics of children, and the picture books appling various kinds of cover design of molding sensibility to let children approach to the world of abundance and creativity should be in advance. Design and typography have come to a conclusion for developing according to the understanding the points of books, designing each book as to its concept and target, and proper use of ypography.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Korean film, 'Old Boy' which has shown a successful attempt to add color effectively in the movie. First, this study demonstrates four symbolic colors in 'Old Boy' in detail to provide an in-depth analysis of their symbolic features. Based on the findings, this study discusses that color is used to better deliver the message of films and beautify the socially tabooed subjects in films. Secondly, this study investigates each character's fashion color and interior color. The results indicate that colors are used to mark the characters in this film and reveal the delicate shades of their psychology. On the whole, this study investigates the underlying effects of colors and their relation with other elements in the film in an effort to enhance a proper use of color in the field of films.

The interest in personal colors is making its progress through different studies in many countries. Also, the interest in personal colors is increasing in Korea. However, they still use the foreign system in Korea so there need to be studies for Personal colors that suit the skin color of koreans. Therefore, the study tries to examine causes for harmony and disharmony of colors for different skin types of koreans. Also, the study investigates the important causes and factors through color diagnoses in order to find the best image. Based on the elements of personal colors, the study has a purpose of examining characteristics of personal colors of koreans, analyzing altering elements through a color diagnosis of each type, and creating a standard for the personal color diagnosis of koreans. I hope this study can be used as a color plan for clothing, makeup, goods and interior. of the study results show that koreans evaluate light colors, colors similar to the skin color and bright colors very positively but they evaluate dark colors negatively. In the color diagnosis the effect of skin tone seemed to be greater than the skin type. In colors, effects by the classification of tone(value and chroma) work greater than the classification of color(Hue).

The effects of personal color on improvement of a person's appearance have been well known, however each nation has a different body color (skin color, hair color, pupil color) and a different preferring color, therefore the study on the personal color matching well with Korean skin color is required. This study intends to suggest more appropriate personal color by subdividing personal colors applied as 4 seasons system to increase the application effects. As the results of study, 8 types of classification were suggested by using the viewpoint in judging skin color, hair color and pupil color, visual perception and luminosity colorimetry in parallel. As well, 180 colors of 3 companies applied in overseas were diagnosed by tools, and 4 seasons system were subdivided as W-a, W-b, W-c, W-d types and C-a, C-b, C-c, C-d types and the characteristics were arranged.

In Color psychology, our study focuses on the Personal Color. We found out that every individual has his/her own best color that fits him/her the most, and even the same color gives a different influence to each individual. Based upon our method, the best color for each person comes from its consciousness and unconsciousness. Thus, we came up with the hypothesis that we are able to figure out what the best color is for each individual and we suggest it with an accurate explanation. For our hypothesis, we integrated The Comic Dual Forces and Five Elements with C.C Jung's Analysis Psychology and Color Psychology.

In the 7th art education course, the teacher's guide to the art education for the first and second grade school children focuses on the understanding of colors, not the expression of colors. The guide is divided into three categories: play and expression, appreciation, and understanding. In this respect, the wet-in-wet watercolor technique in Steiner's art education theory is to enable the children to experience and learn sensuously the changes of colors, not merely to understand colors. That is the main objective of the 7th revision of art education curriculums. The purpose of the revision is to enable the first and second grade school children to improve their creativity and imagination and to offer the basis to experience and understand colors and deal with them more efficiently. With reference to the color education theory and program by Steiner, the color education program of the study has been contrived. The Steiner's color education program is designed for the education of children's sense and sensibility through colors by enabling them to experience colors subjectively with their firsthand experience. The color education program for the first and second grade elementary school children, presented in this study, has six chapters of dry watercolor and wet-in-wet watercolor respectively and conveys the analysis of colors and color changes.

As colors were introduced into cinema, its possibility of expression was widened to unlimited extent. Colors talk hope and despair, love and parting, and life and death, richly and widely. Though the general color theory does not apply to cinema exactly, it is true that communication of colors in common sense plays a role of important allegory in cinema. Deleuze answered; cinema is a new practice of images and signs and philosophy is a practice of concepts, but when these two questions are linked together, concepts of cinema are not given in cinema but philosophy should make film theory. In addition, he defined that 'cinema is a composition of images and signs, that is to say, pre-verbal intelligible content, pure semiotics'1). This study is on the symbolism of colors as narrative factors of cinema, identifying basic concept of colors in picture and reviewing narrative in cinema. I found that narrative using colors are applied to connective narrative between films as well as within a film. Colors, by their psychological and constructional effect, build the mood of screen, imply the plot and are expressed as a climactic screen factor. And they concretize information on screen, lead audience's eyes and appeal to sensibility of audience. Because of this, colors give a lot of effects to narrative expression. Through this study, I found that the visual aspect of narrative is influenced by colors. In addition, the narrative applied colors, by showing more effective visual communication as well as powerful visual information to audience with strong communication, are believed to allow more extensive symbolic expression through narrative embodiment system in employing colors in future films.

In modern society, most of communications are formed through image media and the main media out of them are the movies. It is important to apply the sensibility of color in that the movies are deeply impressed in the head of people up to the most direct and specific areas not only by making everything visualize but also by causing the sensibility of audience. The purpose of this study suggests recognizing that the color plays a important role in the movies, and accomplishing the study appropriate for it by examining the empathy of sensibility in using colors depending on sensibility feeling in general colors and the character of the person described in the movie (Untold Scandal). The method of studies is to study on the basic principle of color and the color cases used in the image and make the chart for arrangement of colors analyzing the social idea of the Joseon Dynasty period as the times of the movie <Untold Scandal> and color, the character and psychology of the hero, the scenario, and so on. The color in the movie appears the psychological expression and whole intentions of character, the importance of color out of factors expressing the movies increases and the more careful and correct organization of color sensibility is needed. Therefore, the study in the future is that the study of the color empathy, which audience is feeling by more different movies, is needed, and it is likely to have to offer the standard model of organizing colors. The task of study from now on will have to contribute to the accomplishment and performance of the movie by establishing and fulfilling color strategy from steps organizing the movies directly, as building models being persuasive by analyzing the movies thoroughly.

Today's marketing environment has undergone evolutionary changes from functional value to the present, where the emphasis is now on the emotional and sensible values thus the brand's manufactured and perceived image, and the selling of these images has become invaluable to their sustained long-term growth. Visual consistency through brand identity is essential for effectively building the brand image. The retail store is the final destination where marketing and its strategies converge to provide the place and setting for the consumer. The facade is the metaphoric face to the store – which in turn is the face to the brand – and is a space where the first communication with the customer is made. Therefore, with the right color marketing and facade color strategy for the facade can have large and direct impact on real sales. Most brands have a single image strategy with a single brand associated color, of which can be applied for color marketing and facade color strategy. The latter can be applied to “flat” and general-shaped architecture for visual differentiation through color. Brands spare no effort to be different from other brands through the usage of their own unique color for the facade. However, the most important thing for building a brand image is the cohesive fit between the brand, retail store and facade images. When these brand elements are aligned, the most powerful brand image can be created and thus the increased brand value can be achieved.

Color is one of the most powerful expressing methods in movie and it delivers main character's emotion and story flow .The purpose of this study is to analyze the movie color of Something's Gotta Give '. Fist, this study investigates the color of character's fashion and interior and makes up color palettes. Secondly, I found out the symbolism of colors in main scene. Through this study, I arrive at reach the conclusion that this movie uses color effectively. On the whole, this study investigates the underlying effects of color and their relation with other elements in the film in an effort to enhance a proper use of color in movie.
