Nowadays many social scientists agree to the fact that the important problem which the Korean society should solve is the social conflict. Whenever the social conflict occurs, a certain amount of energy is lost and the process of prior entropy is accelerated at the maximum. This study attempts to find out not only the macro but also the micro variables of the social conflict by analyzing the PISTOL variables based upon the the entropy equations of Prigogine. Since micro variables are so numerous that this research limits the the indicators to the quantifi able statistics. In addition to this, this study trys to identify the interactions of variables that increase and or decrease the entropy o in the open system, and resultantly trys to diagnose the key characteristics of the Korean social system which tends to counterattack the rapid natural increments of entropy and tends to maintain the equilibrium state.

"HyangYak" is a private organization initiated of the ruling class in Chosun dynasty(about 500 years) which consisted mainly of those who are Yangban(the two upper classes), had been public official, classical scholar and the lower classes. It had a self-governing domain, network and collaboration over the county which ruled of the rural area in order to protect, promote their own interests and friendship of communal society. Then, HyangYak and Governance have a lot of similarities in accordance with to their main inclination: rule of law, steering and directing, network and collaboration and the concern of the result an individual and collective action as a institutional apparatus etc.

Ham (1901-1989) lived and died in 20th century Korea, when state power trampled on human dignity domestically and strong nations invaded and tormented weak nations internationally. Ham lived a life of continuous suffering and poverty due to injustice, but remained a soft and gentle person free from anger or resentment until the day he died. Ham insisted on two main principles: the road to freedom (socio-political democracy) and the road to love (tolerance of other religions). Ham was a civil rights activist when his country was ruled by dictatorial regimes (in both the North and South). Yet, as a maverick thinker, he tried his best to merge diverse religions and ideologies. In this paper I will examine Ham’s vibrant life and thought.

다문화가정 자녀를 올바르게 키우기 위해서는 다문화가정 자녀에 대한 시각을 바 꾸어야 한다. 다문화가정 자녀는 문제아가 아니라 미래 한국의 글로벌 인재라는 시 각이다. 정부는 다문화가정 자녀에 대하여 이중 언어와 문화를 가르치고, 나아가 국 내아동과 어울릴 수 있는 시스템을 구축해야 하며, 이를 통해 한국사회는 글로벌화 하고 국제적 휴먼 네트워크를 구축해나갈 수 있을 것이다.

It requires to change our viewpoints for the right education of multicultural families’ children. They are the future global talented people in Korea rather than the problem children. Government has to teach them through the bilingual-bicultural method, and make the system to harmonize them with other children. Thereby Korean society could construct the global human networks.

이 글은 푸른광주21협의회에서 지난 수년 간 진행해왔던 마을만들기 사업 추진과 정을 정리한 것이다. 마을과 내집앞을 살아 숨쉬는 생활공간으로 조성하고자 하는 작지만 소중한 노력이 푸른광주21의 비전과 가치관을 공유하는 지역공동체 운동으 로 발전될 수 있었고, 이는 조례와 시정부의 정책사업화에 이르는 큰 성과로 이어졌 다. 민관협력을 통한 의제만들기, 제도화, 기본원칙 및 가치공유의 허브 역할, 녹색 도시 모델 구축 등을 주된 성과로 들 수 있다.

This article summarized the process of community building of Green Gwangju 21 in Gwangju. They could develop the efforts for development of community into real life-world space, and lead to mandates and policy or programs of local government. The main performances of the activities are agenda-setting by public-private cooperation, institutionalization, hub role for fundamental principle and value sharing, and building the model for green city.
