In recent decades, the development of information and communication technologies has changed many industry sectors by making the government and business operations more effective and efficient. The emergence of mobile commerce has been considered an important technology shift and it has changed the banking industry. The digital adaptation started off as an option but has evolved into a necessity in every bank’s agenda around the globe. The digital convergence and innovative technologies are forming remarkable disruption in the banking sector and the rate of change is increasing. The digital transformation is accelerating in the banking industry of Pakistan due to the changing payments landscape, competition from Fintechs and the arrival of mobile money services through telecoms. In Pakistan, most of the banks have been moved towards digital banking but some banks like the Bank of Khyber still lack. In this paper, the SWOT analysis method is used for the Bank of Khyber and useful suggestions have been provided for the adoption of digital banking. The growth and development of the financial business of the bank have put forward some strong measures for it. The Bank of Khyber needs to embrace the latest technology, start e-banking services and digital transformation for the high economic growth of the bank and fulfil customer satisfaction.

Mobile Application should be secure, portable, cost-effective and be of good quality. The architecture choice is very important to ensure the quality of the application over time and to reduce development time. Model-View-Controller (MVC) is a very useful for developing Application. It has become the most powerful and leading Programming Architecture for developing a large scale of Application. MVC Developers can trust on the framework that is widely accepted as solutions for recurring problems and used to develop flexible, reusable and modular Application. In this study we investigate the advantage of using MVC Framework when building Mobile Application available on difference devices. In this study compares and contrasts two platforms, iOS and Android Devices, and discusses how to apply the MVC Framework in order to minimize the inherent differences between the platforms.

Ubiquitous computing is changing people’s daily lives by providing the necessary flexibility to interact with anyone anytime, anywhere. Business based on ubiquitous computing (U-business) has emerged as a new paradigm and has become reality. U-business has been defined as the practical application of ubiquitous computing technologies to the business arena. The study introduces the notion of U-business as a new business paradigm and examines the current status of the U-business industry from a different prospective. In this study we analyze various organizational, technological, and strategic factors influencing U-business firms. The results suggest the most important outcomes of U-business adoption and the most important strategy for a firm to gain a competitive advantage through U-business. This study also investigates the current status of U-business in South Korea, including adoption methods, the level of investment, and technology adopted.

Appraisals are used to obtain two kinds of benefits. One of them is improvement in the business processes or in the process of self-assessment and the other is to evaluate the processes. The study aims to cover a research in the areas including (i) understanding the basic difference between assessments and appraisals (ii) study the purpose, scope, benefits, issues and classes of CMMI appraisal (iii) study and select the appraisal methodology particularly for Research and Development organization (iv) plan and prepare to conduct the SCAMPI appraisal in R&D organization and (v) report the findings, ANOVA analysis and recommendation after conducting the appraisal in the Research and Development organization.

The fact that signature is widely used means of person authentication emphasizes the need for automatic verification system. This paper presents a new approach for signature verification. The proposed system aims to collect representative and unique features to distinguish between digital signature images. The comparison process between testing signature and the stored signatures is optimized using Genetic Algorithm. Our experimental results give a good balance between False Acceptance Rate (FAR) and False Rejection Rate (FRR).
