This article is to analyse the nature of Ho Chi Minh's leadership and to research his role achieving Vietnamese independence and unification as a leader. Ho chi Minh is the founder of Vietnam, who is called father of Vietnam. He was born in 1890 during the period of the colonial domination from France. Around 20 years old age he had decided to see how people live in France and other countries, then come back and help his countrymen. During the journey he witnessed the poor people and in particular, black people in America oppressed by the rich. Then he was determined to sacrifice himself to achieve Vietnamese Independence from French domination. The nature of his leadership is as follows: 1. He established a goal for independence of his country until it was achieved. As means of goal attainment he adopted Marx-Leninism and formed Communist Party of Vietnam. 2. He tried to enhance the sense of Vietnamese values, stressing the unity, the unity and the great unity through the propaganda of the party organization. 3. He sacrificed himself for freedom of his people and country and left his testament, wishing their happiness and freedom.

인물학습은 학생들에게 역사수업의 흥미와 동기를 가장 효과적으로 부여할 수 있는 수업방안 중 하나이다. 인물학습은 어떤 인물을 선택하여 수업방안을 구안하는지에 따라 수업의 효과가 달 라지기 때문에 교사는 학생들의 역사 이해 수준에 적절하고 역사적 사고력을 배양할 수 있는 인 물을 선정하여 수업을 진행해야 한다. 역사 인물로 베트남의 국부, 호찌민을 선정하였다. 호찌민 의 이해를 중심으로 한 수업 방안을 구현할 방법으로 구성주의적 교수·학습 방법을 적용하였다. 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 특징을 확인하였다. 첫째, 교사가 인물에 대한 평가를 미리 규정하고 주입하던 방식에서 탈피하여 학생이 스스로 사고하고 능동적으로 지식을 구성해 나갈 수 있다. 둘째, 역사 인물의 행위와 사건에 대한 학생 의 자기주도적 학습은 역사적 사고력을 함양시킬 수 있다. 셋째, 학생 중심의 교수·학습을 통해 베트남 현대사에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있고, 베트남 역사와 사회에 대한 흥미와 관심을 증대시 킬 수 있다.

Figure study is one of the effective lecturing methods that can motivate students to study history because human is the core in the components of history. It is important for teachers to select figures that are appropriate to the level of understanding and that can cultivate historical thinking. Ho Chi Minh, the 'Father of the Nation, Vietnam was selected as a subject of study. Constructive teaching and learning methods were applied to embody the teaching strategies on the understanding of Ho Chi Minh.
