This study aims at empirical understanding of effects of snowboard participants' absorption experience on leasure identity and psychological wellbeing. To this end, this researcher set those participating at snow board activity at Y Ski Slope, H Ski Slope, S Ski Slope in Gangweon-do as a population, selected 300 snow board participants from the three ski slops from Dec. 20, 2012 to the end of Mar., 2011 using the stratified random sampling. The questionnaire sheets were drawn up by a self-assessment filling-out method, except for the questionnaire sheets judged to respond dishonestly, or five copies part of investigated contents were omitted, total 295 copies were used for actual analysis, and to analyzed the collected data, statistical techniques such as frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, credibility analysis, correlation analysis, and multi-regression analysis were used. Through such research approaches and procedure, this study elicited following conclusion. First, snowboard participants' absorption experience had an effect on leisure identity. namely, cognitive absorption, behavioral absorption etc., has a positive effect on establishing leisure identity (identity, respect, and emotional attachment). Second, snowboard participants' absorption experience had an effect on psychological wellbeing, namely, cognitive absorption had a positive effect life goal, environmental control, interpersonal relation, personal growth. Third, snowboard participants' leisure identity had an effect on psychological wellbeing. Namely, identity and respect had a positive effect on life goal, respect had a positive effect on self- acceptance. Also it had a positive effect on environmental control, interpersonal relation, persona growth. Also like life goal, identy had a positive effect on personal growth. In conclusion, snowboard participants' absorption experience has a positive effect on leisure identity and psychological wellbeing, and leisure identity has a positive effect on psychological wellbeing.

이 연구는 한국 스노보드의 국제 경쟁력 강화방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 한국 스노보드의 국제 경쟁력 강화 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중앙 정부의 스포츠관련 업무 일원화를 시작으로, 명확한 업무 분장 및 연계시스템을 구축하 고, 수평적 의사소통 채널 및 현장 지향적 지휘체계를 확립해야 한다. 둘째, 제한된 재정재원 활용을 위하여 현장 지향적 예산 편성 및 효율적인 활용계획을 수립해야 한다. 셋째, 인적자원 증대 및 활용방안 도입에 따라 선수자원 확보를 위한 다양한 콘텐츠 개발에 힘써야 한다. 넷째, 현재 국제적인 트렌드에 적합한 스노보드 전문 훈련 시설을 확충하고 선수 전 용 훈련 시설을 보강해야 한다. 다섯째, 경쟁시스템을 도입하여 획일화된 양성 시스템을 개선해야 하고, 장기적인 관점 에서 훈련 프로그램을 제공해야 한다. 여섯째, 2018년 평창동계올림픽에 대비하여 알파인, 하프파이프를 중점종목으 로 지정하고 집중적으로 지원하며, 보드크로스, 슬로프스타일, 빅에어를 전략종목으로 장기적 차원에서 지원하는 선택 과 집중 체계를 실행하여야 한다. 또한 국제대회 개최 시기를 분석하여 우리 선수들에게 안정적인 FIS-point 획득기회 를 제공해야 한다.
The purpose of this study is to find ways to enhance the international competitiveness of Korean snowboards. The following are the ways to enhance the international competitiveness of Korean snowboards. First, with the start of unification of the sports related business of the central government, it is essential to construct the connecting system and to make a clear segregation of duties and to establish the channel for horizontal communicating and the direction and supervision system of field centering. Second, for using efficiently the limited revenue source, we should make a field centering budget and efficient plan to utilize. Third, with the increase of human resources and introducing the ways to utilize them, we should make the development of various contents. Fourth, we should establish the professional facilities for training snowboard which are appropriate to the international modern trend, and reinforce the training facilities only for the snowboard players. Fifth, we should improve the uniformed system of fostering player by introducing the competitive system and provide them with the training program with the long term viewpoint. sixth, for preparations for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games, we should designate the alpine and half-pipe as the priority games and support them convergently and implement the focusing system on our strength to support the board cross, slope style and big air as strategic events with the long term viewpoints. In addition, we should provide our players with the chances to get stable FIS-points by analyzing the opening times of the international games.

대한민국의 동계스포츠 영역은 이번 평창 동계올림픽을 통해 많은 발전을 이룩하였다. 그 중에서 스키와 스노보 드의 인기는 급속히 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그에 반해 스키장에서의 사고 빈도가 증가하는 등 안전 문제에 대한 우려 도 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 스키장에서의 사고를 예방하고 방지하기 위해 스키와 스노보드의 전 용슬로프 운영에 대한 가능성을 논의하였다. 스키와 스노보드는 회전반경이나 시야 확보 면에서 현저한 차이가 있기 때 문에 충돌의 가능성이 매우 높다. 스키장 부상 문제 중 대부분을 차지하는 것이 스키와 스노보드 간의 충돌에서 나타나 는 사고라 할 수 있다. 따라서 이를 해결하기 위해 슬로프를 별도로 운영할 경우 충돌로 인한 사고를 최소화할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다. 슬로프를 별도로 운영할 경우 안전사고의 가능성이 감소할 수 있지만, 그에 반대되는 다양한 문제들이 다시 대두될 수 있다. 이를 극복하기 위해 다양한 조치를 논의하여 스키와 스노보드 전용슬로프의 운영 가능성에 대해 논의하였다.
South Korea's winter sports field has made a lot of progress through the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. Among them, the popularity of skiing and snowboarding is rapidly increasing. On the other hand, there is a growing concern about safety issues, such as increased frequency of accidents at ski resorts. In this study, we discussed the possibility of operating exclusive slopes for ski and snowboard to prevent accidents at these slopes. Ski and snowboard are very likely to collide because there is a significant difference in the radius of gyration or in the field of view. Most of the accidents occurring in the slopes can be attributed to the collision between skiers and snowboarders. Therefore, if the slope is separately operated to solve this problem, it is considered that the accident caused by the collision can be minimized. Separate operation of the slope can reduce the likelihood of a safety accident, but a wide range of other problems can be resurrected. We discussed various measures to cope with the various problems, and discussed the possibility of operating exclusive slopes for ski and snowboard.
체조 선수와 프리스타일 스노우보드 선수의 척추정렬, 균형감각 및 하지 근력에 관한 분석

The purpose of this study is to compare spinal alignment, balance and muscular strength of lower-extrimity between gymnasts and freestyle snowboarders. This study measured trunk imbalance, pelvic tilt, pelvic torsion, lateral deviation, kyphotic angle, lordotic angle and the abilities of balance on each level and knee extension, flexion and ankle plantar flexion, dorsiflexion on each angular speed with 10 male gymnasts and 7 male freestyle snowboarders. The abilities of balance was measured every 3 times in 20 seconds on level 12(easy), level 6(hard), and level 1(very hard). Knee isokinetic muscular strength was measured 5 times, 5 times on the angular speed 60°/sec, 180°/sec respectively. Ankle isokinetic muscular strength was measured 5 times on the angular speed 60°/sec. Spinal alignment was measured by Formetric III, balance by Biodex stability System, and muscular strength by HUMAC. Statistical results were calculated by SPSS/PC Window version 16.0. It was analyzed by Independent 𝑡-test. The statistical level of significance was set to 𝑝<.05. 1. Snowboarders' lordotic angle was statistically higher than gymnasts'. 2. The difference between both groups were not significant on level 12(easy), level 6(hard), and level 1(very hard) tests. 3. Gymnasts' ankle plantar flexion, and dorsiflexion on the angular speed 60°/sec were denoted statistically higher than those of snowboarders. As a result, the spinal alignment of both groups were similar and both groups had excellent sense of balance. However, snowboarders' spine was bended slightly more than gymnasts' on forward direction. Snowboarders' knee and ankle muscular strength was significantly worse than gymnasts'. If gymnast's training program is applied to snowboarder, it will result in positive effects such as improvement on performances and skills.

이 논문은 논리 및 논술(교육학) 수업에 대한 사례연구이다. 연구주제는 포커스그룹인터뷰(FGI)를 적용한 논리 및 논술(교육학)의 BL 운영이다. 교과 컨텐츠, FGI를 중심으로 한 교수학습활동, 웹기반 학습지원시스템으로서의 SnowBoard에 의한 수업활동을 분석했다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, FGI 활용은 오프라인 수업에서 밀도·강도가 높은 협력학습을 촉진했다. FGI 적용은 수업시간을 활력 있게 효율적으로 진행하는 데 도움이 되었다. FGI를 하기 전에 온라인상에서 자료를 검색해서 토론할 내용을 숙지했고, 토론을 하면서 서로 간의 생각을 교환·공유·수정함으로써 시간 낭비를 최소화할 수 있었다. 둘째, BL의 순기능 측면은 넓게 보면 학습사회의 이상을 실현한 것이며, 좁게 보면 학습하는 시간을 증가시켰다. 즉 컨텐츠를 상호 교환하는 학습기회를 확대하며, 교육 시간 및 비용의 최적화를 기할 수 있었다. 역기능은 학생들이 이 교과에 투입하는 시간이 많아져서 부담으로 작용한 측면이 있었다. 셋째, SnowBoard 활용시 조회빈도가 높았고, 특히 ContentsMaker에서 만들어 업로드한 영상물 활용이 효과적이었다. 강의자의 영상과 PPT화면이 동시에 제시되어, 학습자들로 하여금 언제 어디서 시청해도 지금 오프라인에서 1:1 수업을 하고 있는 효과를 주었다.
This study is to examine teaching and learning with subject contents and focus group interview, to analyze web based instruction utilizing SnowBoard as system for supporting learning. Subjects of this research is as in the following. First question is to contemplate how FGI influence to form ideas about each educational issue. Second question is to analyze BL’s strength and weakness. Third question is to describe the practical use of SnowBoard in terms of instrumental aspects. Results of this research is as in the following. First, FGI promoted collaborative learning of off-line class. FGI led off-line class to effectiveness. Because students each other could exchange, share, and adjust their ideas and experiences having discussions. Second, the right function was to realize the ideal of learning society. Also, BL increased the time of each individual’s self-directed learning. The adverse effect was to be felt burden by learners owing to the increase of making time. Third, motion picture learning materials of ContentsMaker being uploaded, represented special effectiveness. These were most frequently used in SnowBoard. Ubiquitous contents access, web top service was beneficial to most students. But homework, examination, and discussion action was somewhat heavy burden to them. Finally, if each student will be gotten the newest personal mobile devices BL’ maximum efficacy turn up.

본 연구의 목적은 우수 알파인스노보드 선수들을 대상으로 질적연구방법을 채택하여 그들의 부상요인을 심리적 관점에서 심층적으로 분석해 보고자 한다. 이에 국가대표 및 국가대표 후보팀 경력 등 다양한 입상 경력을 가진 우수 알파인스노보드 선수 4명을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 우수 알파인스노보드 선수들의 부 상요인 중 심리적 관점의 요인에서는 ‘특성불안’, ‘성격특성’, ‘주요타자기대’, ‘능력과 기대의 불일치’, ‘부상 트라우마’의 5개 요인으로 도출되었다. 5개 심리적 부상요인은 연구대상자의 원자료를 사례 중심적으로 표현하였으며, 실증적이고 현장 중심적인 면담자료는 미래의 알파인스노보드 선수들 및 코치진들에게 부상에 관련한 심리적 요인들을 심층적으로 분석할 수 있을 것이라고 판단된다. 또한 더 나아가 부상에 대한 예방 및 대책 수립에 관한 근거자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 사료되며 이러한 모든 자료는 국내 설상 종목의 운동선수들의 경기력과 운동선수로서 삶의 질에 긍정적인 효과 를 가져다주는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to adopt qualitative research methods for alpine snowboard athlete to analyze their injury factors in depth from a psychological perspective. Therefore, in-depth interviews were conducted on four outstanding Alpine Snowboard athlete, and the results were as follows. Among the factors of the injury of Alpine snowboard athlete, the psychological point of view was derived from five factors: 'Trait Anxiety', 'Personality Characteristic', 'Expectancies of Significant Others, 'Discrepancy between ability and expectation' and 'Trauma Injuries'. The five psychological injury factors have expressed the raw data of the subject in a case-oriented manner, and empirical and field-oriented interview data will enable in-depth analysis of psychological factors related to injury to future Alpine snowboard athlete and coaches. It is expected to be used as a basis for injury prevention and countermeasures. All data can be used as a basis for positive effects on the quality of life of athletes and athletes in winter sports.
Verification of the Effects of Snowboard Training Simulators SCOPUS

The purpose of the present study was to compare riding postures while training in a simulator and on snow for snowboarding, which takes place on snow, to verify the training effects of simulators. Four professional snowboarding players were selected as study subjects. The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of snowboarding simulators. Two analysis methods were applied: motion analysis using motion-capture cameras and analysis of muscle activity using an electromyogram (EMG) analysis system. . From analysis of the data, the following conclusions were drawn.First, snowboarding posture training in simulators helps improve riding angulation (tilting using ankle flexion). Second, practicing snowboard riding on horizontal simulators before riding on slopes, taking into account the difficulty of training motions and participants’ level of proficiency in them, is desirable. Third, during practice of snowboard riding motions using simulators, instructors should continuously evaluate and correct participants’ posture to prevent excessive hip-joint flexion during FS turns.Fourth, most muscles showed higher activity levels during snowboard riding on slopes than in simulators. Physical resistance induced by increasing the slope of simulators seems capable of increasing training effects.

This paper deals with the three dimensional comparative analyses of the carving front turn of alpine and boarder-cross snowboarders. The research aims to provide winter sports instructors and snowboarders with scientific and quantitative data for evaluation of carving front turn. To achieve the purpose, Alpine and Boarder-cross athlete from Korean National Team for 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics were chosen as subjects. Body segment parameters and 90 coordinate points were selected and referred to calculate the CM and Position of CM in different segments. The turn was divided into 3 events and 2 phases. Three dimensional motion pattern analysis of each segment was performed and was analyzed with kinematical variables such as elapsed time, distance, velocity and angular variables. Comprehensive analysis was conducted and the result of the motion analysis indicated the major features in snowboard carving turn in two different sporting events. The proposed method and the results can be used as a reference for improvement of the training method and skills in snowboarding.

Biomechanical Analysis of Snowboard Riding Motions SCOPUS

The present study was conducted to biomechanics data on snowboard riding in order to help the improvement of the performance of the members of the national snowboarding team. Based on the results of this study, the following conclusions can be drawn. In neutral positions, the ‘up’motions were taken in which the heights of the right and left hips were relatively the highest and at the moments of turns in both directions, ‘down’motions were taken in which the heights of the right and left hips were relatively the lowest. During front side turns, the right ankle angle became smaller than the left ankle angle so that the toe edge moved deeper into the snow. Muscle activity during front side turns, the right vastus intermedius muscle, the right biceps femoris muscle, the right gastrocnemius muscle, and the right anterior tibial muscle were shown to be major activated muscles. During backside turns, the right vastus lateralis muscle, the right vastus intermedius muscle, the left biceps femoris muscle, and the right anterior tibial muscle (12.64%) were observed as major activated muscles. Plantar pressure analysis during front side turns, the largest vertical force and plantar pressure acted on the left front food and the right hind foot. During backside turns, the largest vertical force and plantar pressure acted on the left hind foot and the right hind foot. In further studies, the comparison of positions in successive turns is recommended.
Analysis of Physiologic Effect of Snowboard Deck in Snowboarders SCOPUS

The purpose of this study is to provide evaluation data to examine and verify the effectiveness of the materials through physiological comparison and analysis of the new prototype snowboard deck with the existing equipments. In order to achieve the purpose, blood lactate concentrations and energy metabolic variables were measured from the targeted snowboarders. Five male snowboarders (Slope-style) volunteered to participate in the experiment. The experiment was conducted in slope-style course of “W” Ski Resort located in Gangwondo, Korea. One prototype deck and two existing deck were chosen for analysis. Each subject performed three runs with each “B”, “S” and “Y” deck. Blood samples were collected twice from the finger-tip at rest and immediately after completing the run in order determine the lactate concentration. In order to analyze the energy metabolic variables i.e. heart rate (HR), oxygen uptake (VO2), metabolic equivalent (MET) and total energy consumption (TEE), portable wireless gas analyzer and Polar heart rate monitor was used at rest as well as during the run. The result obtained from the analysis showed increased blood lactate concentration as well as higher oxygen uptake (VO2) at the point of Lactate Threshold (LT) when performing runs by installing “B” and “Y” decks than “S”. Furthermore with the increase in speed, depletion of energy sources as well as increased concentration of muscle fatigue substance also appeared in “B” and “Y” deck than “S” where blood lactate concentration and oxygen uptake are indicators of mobilization capacity of lactic acid system during energy metabolism.

Background: Recently, a number of snowboarders and skiers have been increasing dramatically. The winter sports has several advantages such as maintaining or enhancing physical fitness as well as increasing psychological satisfaction. However, snowboarding and skiing related injuries are also increasing. Among these injuries, the frequency of concussion is increasing. Purposes: The purposes of this review are to provide updated information about sports related concussion in general including definitions of concussion, incidence rate of concussion in snowboarding and skiing, and methodological issues of the sport injury study in future research. Methods: To find literature, the following Electronical Data Base was searched(Medline, National Center for Biotechnology Information(NCBI), Koreastudies Information Service System(KISS), and theses. The searching terms were limited to either Korean language or English language and the published year from 1990 to 2006. Results: In results, there are not many research in snowboarding and skiing related concussion. Incidence rate of concussion in snowboarding was high(11 per 100 snowboarder-exposures). Overall, frequency of concussion injury occurred from 3~69%. However, the incidence rate of skiing related concussion could not calculate because there are several methodological problems with skiing related concussion research. Conclusion: In conclusions, there are few research in the winter sports related concussion. Incidence rate of snowboaring related concussion is high. By the way, due to methodological limitations, the incidence rate of skiing related concussion could not measure. Therefore, more research are required with appling appropriate methods in these two winter sports.

This research helps secure the safety of snow boarders in an activity that is currently recognized as a minor specific hobby. The research goal is to develop a new board wear product with intensified safety and activity through the development of a safe and convenient snowboard wear that is wearable in ordinary life. The participants consisted of 31 snowboard club members evaluated from January 12 to January 19 at Eden-valley Ski Resort and Phoenix-park Resort in Korea. The result are as follows. First, what domestic snowboard wear consumers consider design difference and brand recognition a significant priority in choosing snowboard wear versus the functionality or safety of clothes. Second, concerning the evaluation of the developed product, they recognize the necessity of safety gear; however, they demand the convenient use of a safety gear with a fixation that can be attached and detached. A unity-type board wear was developed that enables an attachment and detachment that reflects the evaluation results. In conclusion, this research showed various market possibility of board wear into sports casual wear to be able to make it a fashion product through different design and demand of mixing it with general wear rather than functionality or activity, though board wear is a professional sports wear.

Snowboarding has become one of the premier alpine sports. The past decade has seen the popularity of snowboarding increase dramatically and the recent Winter Olympic Game showcased the strong visual appeal of the sport and the youth-oriented lifestyle and culture that accompanies it. The injury profile of the sport has also undergone change along with technological advances in boot and binding systems and the changing demographics of the sports participants. Central to the development of injury-prevention strategies is knowledge of the profile of injuries that occur, understanding those who are at particular risk and, if possible, the biomechanical factors involved in each injury type. Snowboarding was initially considered a dangerous, uncontrolled, alpine sport - an opinion based on little or no scientific evidence. That evidence has rapidly grown over the past decade and we now know that snowboard injury rates are no different to those in skiing; however, the injury profile is different. The purpose of this review is to give some perspective to the current snowboard injury literature. It discusses not only the demographic profile of those injured and the type of injuries that occur, but also gives some insight into the progress that has occurred in determining the impact of specific prevention strategies, such as splints to prevent injuries to the wrist/forearm. As the literature indicates, however, some things will not change, e.g. injuries are more likely to occur in beginners and lessons need to be reinforced as a fundamental aspect of any injury-prevention strategy.
빅데이터로 살펴본 레저스포츠로서의 스노우보드 인식과 향후 발전방안 모색

As the needs of leisure consumers were subdivided and diversified, the leisure market also grew. Starting with the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, winter leisure sports have expanded widely. Among winter leisure sports, snowboarding is a popular leisure sport that provides thrill and immersion. This study aimed to develop the future development plan of snowboard and perception of snowboard by consumer’s big data. The 7,328 words were gathered through semantic network analysis with a keyword of ‘snowboard’ for big data analysis. The term was limited for 1 year from June 6, 2019, to May 31, 2020. The words were text mined by Krkwic for social network analysis, and UCINET was used to draw the network between words linked to accompanying keyword. As a result, first, various keywords identified through snowboard consumers such as ‘sales’, ‘price’, ‘deck’, ‘ski resort’, ‘binding’, ‘price’, ‘personal transaction’, ‘direct trade’, boots’, ‘winter’, ‘recommendation’ were extracted. Second, as the result of the CONCOR analysis, finally, 8 groups were formed. The studies discussed the implication of future development plan for snowboard industry.

최근 골프 시뮬레이터의 급성장과 함께 체감형 스포츠 시뮬레이터에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 우리는 가상현실 기술을 이용하여 초보자 대상의 스노우보드 시뮬레이터를 개발하고자 한다. 본 논문은 스노우보드 훈련을 위해 상호작용하는 가상코치와 현실감 높은 가상의 스포츠 훈련환경을 제안한다. 가상코치는 5가지 기본동작에 대한 직관적인 안내와 맞춤형 코칭 피드백을 제공한다. 가상 훈련환경은 보다 사실적인 훈련 상황을 생성하기 위하여 입체영상 시스템과 모션플랫폼을 이용한다. 우리는 가상현실이 태권도, 야구, 양궁 등의 많은 스포츠 종목에서 훈련 지원을 위해 이용될 것으로 기대된다.
In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in tangible sports simulators with the success of golf simulator. The main purpose of this study is to develop a tangible snowboard simulator for the beginner using virtual reality technology. This paper proposes an interactive virtual coach and high fidelity virtual environment for snowboard training. The virtual coach offers an intuitive guidance and personalized coaching feedback about the 5 fundamental riding skills. The virtual training environment uses the stereoscopic display system and motion platform to create more realistic training situation. We expect virtual reality will be used as a training aids in many sports such as taekwondo, baseball, archery and so on.

체감형 게임을 하기 위한 지형 인터페이스 모델로써 스노우보드 게임에서 사용되는 지형 Map Tool을 구현한다. 게임에 쓰이게 될 3D 지형을 하이트 2D 맵 편직기만을 이용해서 만들기는 힘들며 이러한 방법은 지형의 세밀함이 떨어지고 게임상에서 계속 불러들여 확인하는 것은 비효율적이다. 하이트맵을 3D 상에서 직접 불러와 편집을 하고 저장할 수 있게 된다면 훨씬 효율적이며 퀄리티를 높일 수 있을 것이다.
