This study set limits Gangwon-do's manufacturing companies that participated in the educational-industrial consortium. These companies' present status and activities under implementation identified and interpreted by this study, therefore, are insufficient to be generalized into knowledge applicable to most of the companies in Gangwon-do. For more precise and detailed results, it is suggested to make further studies that cover not only those consortium companies but also non-consortium manufacturing companies in Gangwon-do.

The risk assessment model is an important subsystem for effective establishment and operation of EMS (environment management system). In case of poor risk assessment long-term and large-scale failure expense might be brought. Managing policy, target and other indices based on risk assessment can guarantee successful EMS. In this paper, we aim at comparative analysis of various risk methods and propose an alternative risk assessment model for EMS.

The establishment and application of risk management system is one of the current issues in world-wide leading companies. Poor risk management might bring large-scale accident in construction industry by its features(large scale, diversity). Standardization system and standard for risk should be managed timely. In this paper, we do comparative analysis of standardization systems and standards concerned on risk, so thus present basic data for safety reinforcement and risk zero in the construction life cycle process.

The number of pixel defects including bright and black dots on a panel is one of the critical factors determining the quality of TFT-LCD. Since pixel defects on the TFT-LCD panels are sometimes unavoidable, manufacturers have to inspect the panels so that any panel with an unacceptable number of defects will not be delivered to the buyers. However, the buyers demand for the manufacturers to meet different pixel defects tolerances (acceptable number of pixel defects on a TFT-LCD panel) around central(tight) and peripheral(loose) inspection zones. The disagreement in quality standard among different buyers also cause confusions in screening non-confirmative products and unstable yield of production. Few research has focused on the effects of defect locations on a TFT-LCD panel on their detection probabilities and the rational division of defect inspection zones. In this research, experiments were conducted to find the detection probabilities of black dot defects with respect to their varying locations on a TFT-LCD. It is proposed a rational division of inspection zone on a TFT-LCD panel on the basis of detection probabilities of the defects. With these division of inspection zones and the mean defect detection probability within each zone, it is expected to establish a more reasonable pixel defects tolerances.

To keep or improve present competitive power, the due date rate is becoming importance. Several techniques with MRP, MRP II appeared in the 1970s by method to improve the these due date rate. These techniques have some defects to due date. Therefore, in this paper, MRP wishes to receive the due date rate that is improved more by supplementing having these defect by DBR of TOC.

The materials flow is getting speedy and inventory is decreasing in the logistics process, and also bad inventory and loss problems are prevented. As a result, not only logistics cost of company but also national logistics cost is decreased. Thus it contributes to the strength of national competitiveness.

Most of people who are engaged in research and development find it difficult to solve the engineering problems creatively due to the lack of ideas. There are two famous methods for inventive problem solving: '"Brainstorming" and "TRIZ" Brainstorming is the most popular tool until now to find a creative solution and TRIZ is not so popular yet but leads us to a very useful and clear solution. These two methods whose goals are the same usually take quite different routes to the final solution; Those routes have their own unique advantages and disadvantages. In this paper, a creative problem solving method optimized by correlating Brainstorming and TRIZ is proposed. And this method demonstrates how rough initial ideas can be quickly refined and how a problem can be solved correctly.can be solved correctly.
