일부 미용업체 및 재학생 수요도 조사에 따른 교육과정 개편에 대한 연구

The purpose of this study was to develop systematic and specialized curriculum available for satisfying the demand of alumni and beauty-shop businesses as well as undergraduates With having subjects as undergraduates and beauty-shop employees, the questionnaire was carried out targeting 116 undergraduates from November 12, 2012 to November 16 and targeting 106 beauty-shop employees from November 12, 2012 to November 30. The following conclusions were obtained. Examining satisfaction with curriculum by each major according to major field in undergraduates, the dissatisfaction stood at 44 people (54.3%) in the skin care major as for the satisfaction with skin care curriculum. The ratio of response as saying of being moderate was the largest in hair major, make-up major, and other major. Significant difference was shown (p<.01) according to major field. Examining the analytical results of beauty-shop employees, the necessity of improvement in the whole curriculum for this school was the largest in moderate. The next was shown to be the need. In light of this, the outcome was shown that is opposed to improvement in curriculum by each major in students as for necessity of improvement in the current curriculum. Thus, the beauty-shop employees can be considered to be needed the improvement in school curriculum. The major intensive course and the optional subject were shown to be necessary given improving curriculum. As a result of this statistics, researchers for the department of skin beauty at this school aimed to devise improvement in curricular system of the major intensive course and the optional subject, which increase students' satisfaction with improvement in curricular system and meets the demand of beauty-shop employees, by adjusting instructional hours compared to credits rather than changing curricular subject by each major in improving a system of curriculum. Hence, a system of curriculum was enhanced as follows. Examining the improved curriculum, the skin care major was sharply reduced 20 instructional hours along with a rise in totally 2 credits from 104 teaching hours with 83 credits in 2012 to 84 teaching hours with 85 credits in the improved curricular system. Even the hair major was greatly reduced 21 instructional hours along with a rise in totally 1 credit from 104 teaching hours with 83 credits in 2012 to 83 teaching hours with 84 credits in the improved curricular system.

This research was conducted so as to investigate effects of aroma back massage on physical, psychological and emotional stress of middle-aged women and utilize it as a mediation therapy of health promotion which prevents and relieves middle-aged women's long-term diseases. The subject of this research was 30 middle-aged women in 40s~50s living in Masan, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam and they were randomly divided into aroma group, carrier group and non-treatment group of 10 women respectively. The period of research was 2 weeks from Mar. 04 to Apr. 13, 2013 total 6 times, three times per week. Aroma group was applied by back massage for 30 minutes by diluting orange, lavenda, ylangylang in jojoba oil 20 ml by 3%, carrier group was applied by back massage for 30 minutes by jojoba oil 20 ml. Non-treatment group took a rest on the bed for 30 minutes under the environment same as aroma group and carrier group. For the collection of three groups' data, accumulated stress was measured every time before and after the experiment through the physical and psychological stress questionnaires before and after the experiment and Ubio pulse wave measurer manufactured by Biosense Creative Co., Ltd. which is a venture company of KAIST. For the analysis of data, frequency analysis and ANCOVA were conducted by research problems with SPSS 15.0 program. As the results of research, physical stress has statistically significant differences between aroma group and carrier group (p<.05), aroma group and non-treatment group (p<.05). Psychological stress has statistically significant differences between aroma group and non-treatment group (p<.01), carrier group and non-treatment group (p<.05). Accumulated stress has statistically significant differences between aroma group and carrier group (p<.05), aroma group and non-treatment group (p<.01). Therefore, aroma back massage made effective effects on the relief of middle-aged women's physical, psychological and emotional stress.
여대생의 BMI에 따른 체중조절 경험과 비만 스트레스에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 BMI에 따른 여대생의 체중조절 행위와 비만도, 비만 스트레스를 포함하여 체중조절 행위에 영 향을 미치는 변인을 파악함으로써 저체중 및 표준체중의 여대생은 표준체중의 중요성을 인식케 하여 과잉체중조 절 행동을 억제하고, 과체중 및 비만 여대생들에게는 체계적인 체중조절 프로그램을 개발하여 올바른 체중조절 행동으로 유도할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 자료수집은 2012년 6월 7일부터 6월 30일까지 하였고 전국의 여대생 682명을 임의 표출하여 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS PASW 18.0 통 계 프로그램을 이용하여 실수, 백분율 등의 서술통계와 t-test, one-way ANOVA를 하였다. 대상자의 연령은 평 균 19.92세이며, 신장은 161.43 cm, 몸무게는 53.68 kg, 희망 몸무게는 47.30 kg이었다. BMI에 따른 저체중군 은 130명(19.1%)이었고, 정상체중군은 450명(66.0%), 과체중 및 비만군은 102명(15.0%)이었다. 평균 체질량 지수(BMI)는 20.69 (kg/m2)로 정상체중에 속했고, 희망 몸무게로 산출된 체질량 지수(BMI)는 18.26 (kg/m2)으로 저체중을 선호하였다. 81.4%의 여대생들이 체중조절에 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 체중조절의 이유로는 저 체중, 정상체중, 과체중 및 비만군 모두 ‘외모’를 이유로 선택하였다. 체중조절 실시기간은 저체중군 일수록 비교 적 단기간에 실시하는 경향을 보였다. 체중감량 정도는 세 집단 모두 3~5 kg이 가장 많았다. 체중조절 스트레스 는 전반적으로 저체중에서 비만군으로 갈수록 높게 나타났다(p <.01). 체중조절 시도는 본인의 의사결정 과정 으로 이루어지지만, 이면에는 여성의 신체 이미지에 지나친 가치를 부여하는 사회풍조의 압력이 가해진 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이로 인해 여대생들은 왜곡된 체형인식을 바탕으로 지나친 체중조절을 하고 있고 비만 스트레스 또 한 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 건강한 체중유지의 중요성을 인식하게 하고, 개인의 특성과 요구도에 부합 하는 전문화된 비만교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 체중조절 전문가나 기관에의 접근성을 높여 올바른 체중조절의 기회를 가지게 하도록 해야 할 것이다. 또한 무리한 체중조절로 인한 부작용에 대한 대처 방안도 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Even though cosmetology has been operating for a long time, there have been few studies on the current status of the domestic skin care industry. Even though there is a skin care specialist licensing system, the data on cosmetologists’ job characteristics and satisfaction haven’t been available. To help cosmetologists build expertise, therefore, this study has conducted an in-depth investigation on job characteristic factors such as matters associated with the place of business, license-related matters and perception of job-related laws and attempted to find academic basics in order to come up with a master plan to improve cosmetology industry. The following results were obtained: First, job characteristics had a positive effect on organizational characteristics. Second, organizational characteristics had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Third, job characteristics had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Fourth, job characteristics by the adjustment of organizational characteristics had a positive effect on job satisfaction. In conclusion, it is necessary to improve systems and focus on improving cosmetologists’ competence and skills.

This study has investigated changes in aesthetic characteristics of cosmetics models among Korean female cosmetics’ advertisements, which have led popular culture since 1990, and attempted to identify changes in femininity and aesthetic consciousness. Since the relaxation of Regulations for Prior Review of Advertisement in 1992, diverse and plural femininity has been expressed through female models in cosmetics advertisement. Instead of focusing on the pure and beautiful aspects of women only, new aspects of women (ex: Elegance, Cute and romantic, sexy and provocative, boyish and neutral, etc.) have been emphasized. It appears that the pursuit of this kind of diversified femininity and aesthetics will continue.
화장품에서 오배자(Galla Rhois) 추출물의 항균활성에 대한 연구

Anti-microbial activities of Galla Rhois Extract was investigated by formulation, such as skin lotion, milk lotion for 4 weeks. Control contained no preservative, test group contained 0.5% and 1% Galla Rhois extract and Positive control contained paraben and imidazolidinyl urea. To determine the anti-microbial activity of this extract, the 4 germs such as Staphylococcus S. aereus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans were used. The test groups showed significant anti-microbial activities against the 4 germs at 1 and 2 weeks as compared with control. Anti-microbial activities of these extracts were similar to positive control. It is possible to develop as natural preservative in cosmetics.
