Background/Objectives: The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for preparing an appropriate and correct dietary supplement management program by examining the correlation between hypertension and dietary supplements intake. Methods/Statistical analysis: Using the 2019 KNHANES VIII-1 data, the prevalence of hypertension and the intake of dietary supplements for 2 weeks in the past year were statistically analyzed by age, sex, house income and education level. Findings: High blood pressure was the highest with ' Yes ' at 18.9%, and ' No ' at 1.0%. A person with a ‘yes’ of hypertension took dietary supplements for at least 2 weeks in the past year (58.6%). Improvements/Applications: Based on this study, we intend to use it as a guideline for follow-up studies on the High Blood Pressure and whether dietary supplements are consumed according to the guidelines of education on the recognition of the benefits and harms of diseases.

Background: Confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients sometimes require emergency surgery, but protecting healthcare workers and other patients from infection is a high priority. This report describes two cases where surgeries were performed in a hospital without a negative-pressure operating room. Case: Two patients diagnosed with COVID-19 required emergency surgery in a negative-pressure isolation room. Two operating rooms were designated an operating room and an anteroom, and the central air conditioning system was turned off. The disinfection exhaust fan of the operating room was used to create a negative-pressure environment (–1.0 Pa). Conclusions: Performing surgery on COVID-19 patients remains challenging in hospitals not specialized for infection. It is necessary to share experiences between hospitals, and changing the pressure inside the operating room from positive to negative pressure with a simple maneuver is a good option for protection.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficiency of safety awareness of VR experience programs for marine safety and the participants’ re-participating behavior. This would emphasize the need for maritime safety experience education, and contribute to preparing basic data for diversification of maritime safety VR contents. From June to August 2021, five of maritime safety experience facilities were visited to target users of VR programs. A total of 350 data were collected using the convenient sampling method, and 295 data were finally used for data analysis. As a result, VR experience for maritime safety had a positive effect on the participants' maritime safety awareness and re-participation behavior. This study could be meaningful in terms of highlighting the need to develop safety programs, and to expand education in South Korea, where three sides are the sea. In addition, this study emphasized the necessity of producing and operating various contents and programs based on VR.
