최근 참여적 성향을 지닌 고객들의 등장으로 기업은 참여적 고객들과 상생하고자 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 이러한 시장의 트렌드에 따라 기업의 예술에 대한 활동양상도 변화를 보이고 있다. 본 연구에서는, 보다 능동적이고 적극적인 방법으로 예술을 활용하자 하는 기업들이 효과적으로 예술을 활용할 수 있는 방안으로 ‘고객 참여를 통한 공연 개발’의 필요성에 대해 제안하고, 사례 연구를 통해 그 효과에 대해 확인해 보았다. 첫째, 고객의 참여를 통한 공연 개발은 다양한 고객층의 니즈(needs)에 능동적으로 대처함으로써 고객 만족을 실현할 수 있는 방법으로 매우 적절하다고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 기업의 내부고객 참여 시 직원의 업무 만족도 상승으로 기업의 생산성 향상 및 조직문화 개선에 효과를 얻을 수 있으며, 외부고객 참여 시 기업에 대한 충성 고객의 확보가 매우 용이해질 수 있다. 셋째, 기업의 고유한 특징을 살린, 지속적으로 활용 가능한 예술 콘텐츠 획득이 매우 용이해지며 넷째, 이러한 방법으로 개발된 예술 콘텐츠는 기업교육이나 기업홍보 또는 기업의 사회공헌활동 등을 위해 활용될 수 있으며, 다양한 종류의 기업의 목적을 위해 재생산될 수 있다. 다섯째, 이러한 기업의 예술프로그램 개발은 자연스럽게 기업의 독창적 이미지 홍보 및 창조적 이미 지 제고의 효과를 가져 올 수 있다.
With the recent appearance of customers with participatory bias, business companies are moving rapidly to have win-win relationships with those active participants. According to these market trends, those companies are showing changes in their activities in culture and arts. In this study, better ways to making use of culture and arts effectively with the needs to "develop culture and art contents through customer participation" have been suggested for those companies which are making use of culture and arts in more active and aggressive ways, and through case studies, the effects have been reviewed. First, through customers' participation, culture and art contents development is a very appropriate way to realize customer satisfaction by meeting actively needs of various customer levels. Second, with the participation of internal customers of the business, productivity and culture of the organization could be improved due to work satisfaction of the employees. With the participation of outside customers, it would be easier to secure loyal customers. Third, it would be very useful to acquire continuous use of art contents, making use of the uniqueness of the company. Fourth, art contents developed in these ways could be used to training of company employees or promote business or to contribute in social activities of the business. Fifth, development of such business culture and art contents would naturally bring promoting and improving effects of the unique image of the business companies.

Effect of molasses addition to complete calf starter(CCS) and the following pellet processing was evaluated with 12 Holstein- Friesian(HF) calves(7-14 d old with 42±5.5kg average BW), with 6 calves(replicate) per treatment. The CCS was formulated with 65% concentrate calf starter and 35% local corn fodder. On the CCS, molasses was added either 5%(M5) or 10%(M10), then the mixture was pelleted and fed to the calves for 7 weeks. Molasses addition, regardless of addition level, improved (p<0.05) both the durability and hardness of the pellet which contains 35% of high fibrous local corn fodder. Upon feeding to calves, the feed intake and daily gain were numerically higher with 5% molasses addition compared to 10% molasses addition. Blood VFA level was remarkably higher(p<0.01) in calves fed M10 than calves fed M5. There was no difference(p>0.05) in blood glucose level between M5 and M10. Length and number of papillae were not different(p>0.05) by the addition levels of molasses. However, there was one exception in number of papillae at caudo-dorsal sac which were higher(p<0.05) number in M5 than M10 calves. Considering the quality of CCS pellet, calf performance and rumen development, there was no additional benefit of 10% molasses addition compared to 5%. From the results of this study, 5% molasses addition could be recommended for local farmer when they utilize local corn fodder to make CCS for HF calves in Indonesia.

The aim of the present experiment was to determine the standardized ileal digestible (SID) methionine (Met) requirement during the grower phase (22 to 29 days). A total of 192 Ross 308 male broilers (745 ± 50.5 g) were assigned to six dietary treatments in a randomized complete block design, with eight replicate cages per treatment. The experimental diets were formulated based on corn, soybean meal, and synthetic amino acids (AA), with different levels of dietary SID Met ranging from 0.40% to 0.65%, in increments of 0.05%. Individual body weight and feed intake per cage were measured at the beginning and end of the experimental period. Weight gain (g/bird), feed intake (g/bird), gain-to-feed ratio (g/kg), feather weight (g), and relative feather percentage (% of body weight) were analyzed for linear or quadratic responses using orthogonal polynomial contrasts. Final body weight, weight gain, and feed intake increased quadratically as dietary SID Met concentration increased (p < 0.05). However, the composition of AA in the feathers showed no quadratic or linear effect based on dietary SID Met concentrations, except for Ile (p = 0.05; quadratic). The SID Met requirements for optimum and maximum weight gain of 22 to 29-days-old male broilers were estimated using the broken-line and quadratic-line models to 0.45% and 0.55%, respectively.

Purpose: To develop a tool for measuring peripheral intravenous catheter insertion performance. Methods: This was a cross-sectional descriptive study. Initial items were generated using existing guidelines and tools, and 19 experts assessed content validity. Data were collected from a tertiary hospital in D city from January 17, 2018, to October 20, 2019. The data of 365 nurses were used for principal component analysis with orthogonal rotation. Concurrent validity was confirmed using Pearson’s correlation between the developed tool and the nursing career period. Reliability was confirmed after evaluating internal consistency. Results: Initially, 16 items were generated, but three items were deleted in content validation. A two-factor solution was preferred in exploratory factor analysis and explained 48.2% of the variance. The two factors were named “point of care” and “follow-up care,” respectively. The tool’s reliability is .87. Conclusion: The developed tool was valid and reliable. It is composed of 13 items and can be used quickly and easily. Therefore, it can be utilized for the education and training of novice nurses and the self-reflection of experienced nurses. In addition, it will be useful to review the catheterization process in common clinical settings.

Objective To investigate how gait parameters in children with traumatic brain injury (TBI) versus typically developing (TD) children are influenced by secondary concurrent tasks and examine the correlations between gait parameters and attention and balance in children with TBI. Methods Sixteen children with TBI (mean age, 11.63±1.89 years) and 22 TD controls (mean age, 11.41±2.24 years) participated in this case-control study. Attention and functional balance were measured using the Children’s Color Trail Test (CCTT) and Pediatric Balance Scale (PBS). All participants first walked without concurrent tasks and then with concurrent motor and cognitive tasks. The APDM Mobility Lab was used to measure gait parameters, including gait velocity, stride length, stride duration, cadence, and double support time. Repeatedmeasures analysis of variance and Spearman correlation coefficient were used for the analysis. Results Children with TBI showed significantly more deterioration in gait performance than TD children (p<0.05). Concurrent tasks (motor and cognitive) significantly decreased gait velocity and cadence and increased stride time; the differences were more obvious during the concurrent cognitive task. A moderate correlation was found between gait parameters (gait velocity and stride length) and CCTT-2 and PBS scores in children with TBI. Conclusion Gait performance may be affected by task complexity following TBI. Attention and balance deficits caused deterioration in gait performance under the concurrent task condition in children with TBI. This study illustrates the crucial role of task demand and complexity in dual-task interference.

The purpose of this study was to analyse the effects of light colour on rabbit reproductive performance and the expression of key follicular development genes. Rabbits (n = 1,068, 5 months old, 3.6?4.4 kg live body weight) were divided randomly into four groups, housed individually in wire mesh cages and exposed to red, green, blue, and white light-emitting diode (LED) light (control). The lighting schedule was 16 L : 8 D-15 d / 150 lx / 6:00 am?22:00 pm (3 d preartificial insemination to 12 d postartificial insemination). Red light and white light affected the conception rate and kindling rate and increased the total litter size at birth (p < 0.05). The effects of red light on litter size at weaning, litter weight at weaning, and individual weight at weaning increased compared with the green and blue groups. The effects of red light on live litter size at birth were increased compared with those in the blue group (p < 0.05). Compared to white light, green and blue light reduced the number of secondary follicles (p < 0.05). Compared to red light, green and blue light reduced the number of tertiary follicles (p < 0.05). Compared with white light, red LED light resulted in greater ovarian follicle stimulating hormone receptor and luteinizing hormone receptor mRNA expression (p < 0.05). Compared with green and blue LED light, red LED light resulted in greater B-cell lymphom-2 mRNA expression (p < 0.05). Compared with green LED light, red LED light inhibited FOXO1 mRNA expression in rabbit ovaries (p < 0.05). Red light can affect the reproductive performance of female rabbits and the expression of key genes for follicular development.

Objective To assess the relationship of scores on the test of infant motor performance (TIMP), with those on the Bayley scales of infant development (BSID), and to investigate the sensitivity and specifi city of TIMP and the optimal cut-off value of TIMP scores using ROC analysis. Method Seventy-six preterm and term infants were recruited from neonatal intensive care units. Subjects were tested with the TIMP at their initial visit and after 6 months, they were tested by using BSID. Results In the reliability study, TIMP scores showed highly significant correlation with the Bayley physical developmental index (BPDI) (p=0.001) and Bayley mental developmental index (BMDI) (p=0.017). Receiver operator characteristics (ROC) curve analysis was performed to evaluate the TIMP test for screening infant motor development. ROC analysis showed an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.825 (p=0.005) in BPDI and 0.992 (p=0.014) in BMDI,indicating an excellent classifi cation performance of the model. Th e optimal cut-off value where a sensitivity of 86%,and specifi city of 68% were achieved with the TIMP was 1.50 (between average and below average) in BPDI and where a sensitivity of 100%, and specifi city of 66% were achieved with the TIMP was 1.50 in BMDI. Conclusion Our results indicate that the TIMP provides a reliable and valid measurement that can be used for the evaluation of motor function in preterm and term infants. TIMP was highly sensitive and specifi c with the follow-up examination of BSID. Th erefore it can be used as a reliable screening tool for neonates and infants aged <4 months.

세계 각국은 기후변화에 따른 지구 온난화의 영향으로 인해 산불발생 건수의 증가와 산불이 대형화됨에 따라 산불 진화력 강화를 위해 다양한 진화약제 및 장비 개발 연구가 이루어지고 있으며, 산불 화염을 직접적으로 진화하는 약제뿐만 아니라 산불 확산이 예상되는 지역에 미리 살포하여 방화선을 구축하는 간접 진화방식인 산불 지연제 개발 및 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한정된 진화자원 을 효과적으로 활용하고 지상 진화력 강화를 위해 산불의 확산 강도 및 연소 속도를 감소시키는 산불 지연제에 대해 지연 성능과 산림 생태 독성을 평가하였다. 개발 산불 지연제는 해외 지연제보다 높은 지연성능을 발휘하고, 물과 첨가비율에 따라 다양하게 적용이 가능한 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 산림의 동·식물에 대한 독성 평가에서도 산림 생태계에 영향을 미치지 않는 독성이 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 산불 지연제는 향후에 산불 진화 현장에 방화선 구축 및 지상 진화자원 지원에 적용되어 다양한 산불 진화전략에 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
As the number of forest fires increases and forest fires become larger due to the effects of climate change around the world, research is being conducted on the development of various firefighting chemicals and equipment to strengthen forest fire response capabilities. The development and research of forest fire retardants, which are an indirect method of extinguishing fires by spraying them in advance in expected areas to establish fire lines, are being actively conducted. In this study, we evaluated the retardant performance and forest ecological toxicity of a forest fire retardant that reduces the spread intensity and combustion speed of forest fires in order to effectively utilize limited firefighting resources and strengthen ground firefighting power. It was confirmed that the developed forest fire retardant exhibits higher retardation performance than foreign retardants. In addition, the toxicity evaluation of forest animals and plants showed that there was almost no toxicity that did not affect the forest ecosystem. Therefore, it is expected that forest fire retardants will be used in various forest fire extinguishing strategies by being applied to construct fire lines and support ground fire extinguishing resources at forest fire extinguishing sites in the future.

연구목적: 본 연구는 간호학과 상황에 맞는 시뮬레이션실습 학습 모듈을 개발하여 적용한 후 아동간호학 시뮬레이션 실습 교육의 질적 향상을 위해 기초자료를 제공하고자 실시되었다. 연구기간 및 대상: 2022년 9월 16일부터 10월 28일까지 C도 간호학과 3학년 중 아동간호 시뮬레이션 수업에 참여하고 있는 97명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과: 세기관지염 환아간호 시뮬레이션 실습 후 동료평가, 자가평가 점수가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 임상수행능력은 시뮬레이션 실습 교육 전 보다 교육 후 평가에서 모두 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 토대로 아동간호학 임상실습에서 직접술기를 경험하기 어렵기 때문에 추후 시뮬레이션 교육을 통해 반복적인 임상실무 상황을 자주 경험해 보도록 할 필요가 있다. 또한 실제 임상상황과 유사한 다양한 아동 시뮬레이션 학습 모듈의 지속적인 개발이 필요하다.
Research Purpose: This study aimed to provide baseline data for improving pediatric nursing simulation education. It developed and applied a tailored simulation practice learning module for the nursing department. Research Period & Participants: From September 16 to October 28, 2022, 97 third-year students at C Nursing College participated, focusing on pediatric nursing simulation classes. Research Results: After the simulation practice on bronchiolitis pediatric nursing, high scores were observed in both peer and self-evaluation. Clinical performance also showed marked improvement post-simulation education. Recommendations: Given the inherent challenges of experiencing direct procedures in pediatric nursing, more frequent simulation-based experiences are crucial. Furthermore, there's a pressing need for ongoing development of pediatric simulation modules resembling real clinical settings.

국내 산불진화 체계에는 크게 지상진화와 공중 진화로 이루어져 있다. 지상진화는 인력 및 장비를 이용하여 직접 또는 간접적으로 산불의 잔불정리와 산불상황종료를 마무리한다. 현재 산림청에서는 지상진화 장비로 진화차, 기계화시스템, 등짐펌프를 사용하고 있다. 국내 산불 진화장비 중에 기계화 시스템은 급경사의 산악지역이 많은 우리나라의 특수한 산불 환경을 고려하여 인력 및 기계장치를 활용한 진화시스템으로 국외 나라들과는 다른 유일한 진화체계이다. 그러나 이들 장비에 대한 규격 및 성능기준이 마련되어 있지 않아 진화장비의 품질 관리 및 진화 활동의 효율을 정량화를 통한 표준화된 산불진화 체계가 마련되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 국내 주요 지상진화 장비인 진화차, 기계화시스템, 등짐펌프에 대한 성능평가기준을 수립하고자, 국외 산불 진화장비의 성능평가기준을 조사 및 분석하고, 현장시연화 및 공청회를 통해 국내 산불 관련 전문가들의 기존 진화장비의 문제 점과 개선이 필요한 사항들을 수렴하여 성능평가기준을 제시하였다.
The domestic wildfire extinguishing system is largely composed of ground and aerial firefighting. Ground firefighting used by manpower and extingushing residual fires. Currently, the Korea Forest Service is using a fire extinguisher, a mechanized system, and a back-pack pump as ground fire extinguishing equipment. Among the domestic wildfire extinguishing equipment, the mechanized system is the only firefighting system different from other countries as it utilizes manpower and machinery in consideration of the special forest fire environment in Korea. However, there is no standardized forest fire extinguishing system through quality control of extinguishing equipment and quantification of the efficiency of extinguishing activities. In this study, in order to establish performance evaluation criteria for domestic major ground firefighting equipment, such as fire extinguishing vehicles, mechanized systems, and back pack pumps, the performance evaluation criteria of overseas forest fire extinguishing equipment were investigated and analyzed, and domestic forest fire related activities were conducted through field demonstrations and public hearings. The performance evaluation criteria were presented by collecting the problems of the existing firefighting equipment and matters that need improvement by experts.

Cooling by gas helium circulation can be used for various HTS (high temperature superconductor) magnets operating at 20~40 K, and a cryogenic blower is an essential device for circulating gas helium in the cooling system. The performance of the cryogenic blower is determined by various design parameters such as the impeller diameter, the blade number, the vane angle, the volute cross-sectional area, and the rotating speed. The trailing edge angle and the height of impeller vane are also key design factors in determining the blower performance. This study describes the design, fabrication and performance evaluation of cryogenic blower to produce a flow rate of 30 g/s at 5 bar, 35 K gas helium. The impeller shape is designed using a specific speed/specific diameter diagram and CFD analysis. After the fabrication of the cryogenic blower, a test equipment is also developed using a GM cryocooler. The measured flow rates and the pressure differences are compared with the design values at various rotating speeds and the results show a good agreement. Isentropic efficiency is also evaluated using the measured pressures and temperatures.

With the continuous performance improvement and commercialization of HTS wires, there have been many efforts to commercialize HTS power cables recently. Unlike conventional power cables, a cryogenic cooling system is required for a HTS power cable and a cryogenic pump is one of the essential components to circulate subcooled liquid nitrogen and cool the HTS power cable. Especially, the development of a reliable and high-efficiency cryogenic pump is an important issue for the commercialization of HTS power cables of several kilometers or more. In this study, we designed and fabricated a cryogenic pump for subcooled liquid nitrogen with a mass flow rate of 1.2 kg/s, a differential pressure of 5 bar, and evaluated the hydraulic performance of the pump. Impeller design was conducted to meet the target design performance with 1 D analysis model and CFD analysis. The pump performance parameters such as pressure heads, mass flow rates, and efficiencies in accordance with rotating speeds were assessed using a laboratory's performance evaluation system.
Development and Performance Testing of a Time-resolved OSL Measurement System KCI 등재

Background: Time-resolved optically stimulated luminescence (TR-OSL) is a very useful method for calculating the lifetimes of crystalline quartz and feldspar. Materials and Methods: A compact TR-OSL system was developed, comprising a heater assembly manufactured using Kanthal wire, 2 powerful blue light-emitting diodes (LED, LXHLPB02) for optical stimulation equipped with VIS liquid light guides, and a photomultiplier tube combined with an optical filter for luminescence detection. A pulse generated from the data acquisition board (NI PCI 6250) was used to initiate on/off signals in LED and TR-OSL measurements. Results and Discussion: The TR-OSL and background signals measured using this TR-OSL system using quartz samples were very similar to those reported in a previous study. Additionally, the lifetimes of the build-up and TR-OSL signals were calculated as 27.4 ± 2.2 μs and 30.3 ± 0.6 μs, respectively, in good agreement with the findings of a previous study. Conclusion: It was concluded that the developed TR-OSL system was very reliable for TR-OSL signal measurements and lifetime calculations.

본 연구에서는 천연계면활성제 조성물 등을 이용하여 환경친화적이고, 소화성능이 우수한 포 소화약제를 개발하고, 기초물성, 친환경성, 소화성능 평가를 실시하였다. 개발된 소화약제는 국민안전처 기준에 따라 기초물성을 실험하고, 물벼룩과 지렁이 독성으로 친환경성을 평가하였다. 소화성능실험은 자체적으로 개발한 산불진화용 성능시험기를 이용해 실시하였다. 그 결과, 기초물성의 경우변질 전, 후 실험에서 모두 포 소화약제로서 요구되는 물성을 모두 만족하였다. 물벼룩 독성 실험에서는 포 소화약제 48.854mg/L 이하에서 반수유영저해 현상이 발생하지 않았고, 지렁이 독성의 실험에서는 포 소화약제 1,000mg/kg 조건에서도 치사에 영향을 미치는 요인이 발생하지 않아 두 실험모두 친환경성 기준에 만족하였다. 소화성능 실험은 물에 비해 1.6배 이상 성능이 우수한 것으로나타났다.
This study aims at developing environmentally friendly foaming agents with high fire-fighting performance by using natural surfactant compositions, and evaluating its basic property, environmental friendliness and extinguishing performance. The basic property test was carried out on the newly-developed agent in accordance with standards outlined by the Ministry of Public Safety and Security in Korea. As for environmental friendliness, the toxicity tests were conducted with water fleas and earthworms. An independently developed device testing wildfire suppression performance was used to assess extinguishing capability. The results showed the foaming agent met all required properties in both experiments before and after the property change. In the toxicity test on water fleas, immobilization occurred with 48.854mg/l foaming agent, but in the test on earthworms, even the 1,000mg/kg foaming agent did not cause any fatal effect. Its extinguishing performance was found to be 1.6 times greater than water.

Background: A hand-held detector for an emergency response was developed for nuclide identification and to estimate the information of the ambient dose rate in the scene of an accident as well as the radioactivity of the contaminants. Materials and Methods: To achieve this, the most suitable sensor was first selected as a cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) semiconductor and the signal processing unit from a sensor and the signal discrimination and storage unit were successfully manufactured on a printed circuit board. Results and Discussion: The performance of the developed signal processing unit was then evaluated to have an energy resolution of about 14 keV at 662 keV. The system control unit was also designed to operate the CZT detector, monitor the detector, battery, and interface status, and check and transmit the measured results of the ambient dose rate and radioactivity. In addition, a collimator, which can control the inner radius, and the airborne dust sampler, which consists of an air filter and charcoal filter, were developed and mounted to the developed CZT detector for the quick and efficient response of a nuclear accident. Conclusion: The hand-held CZT detector was developed to make the in-situ gamma-ray spectrometry and its performance was checked to have a good energy resolution. In addition, the collimator and the airborne dust sampler were developed and mounted to the developed CZT detector for a quick and efficient response to a nuclear accident.

본 연구는 무역의존도가 높은 한국 경제에서 수출제조기업이 공시한 연구개발(R&D) 공시에 대한 단기 주식시장 반응을 분석함으로써 R&D 활동이 시장에서 어떻게 평가되는지를 분석한다. 이를 위해, 사건연구(event study) 방법론을 적용하여 2001년부터 2020년까지 KOSPI 및 KOSDAQ에 상장된 수출제조기업 131개 사가 발표한 305건의 R&D 공시를 분석하였다. 시장 반응의 차이를 설명하기 위해, 기업특성 및 Sundaram et al. (1996)의 Competitive Strategy Measure (CSM)에 대한 횡단면 분석을 진행하였다. CSM은 산업 내 경쟁 다이나믹을 측정하는 지표로, “Strategic complement” 경쟁환경 하에서는 경쟁기업들이 타 기업의 혁신활동 공시에 대해 공격적으로 대응하는 반면, “Strategic substitute” 경쟁환경 하에서는 해당 혁신을 수용(accommodate)하는 특성을 갖는다. 분석 결과, R&D 공시는 공시일 기준으로 유의한 양(+)의 초 과수익률을 유발하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 시장이 수출지향 제조기업의 R&D 관련 혁신 신호를 긍정적으로 평가함을 의미한다. 또한, 경쟁 기업이 혁신을 수용하는 “Strategic substitute” 경쟁환경 하에서 R&D 공시에 대한 시장 반응이 더 크게 나타났으며, 이러한 결과는 CSM 프레임 워크와 일관성을 보인다. 이러한 결과는 경쟁 구조가 혁신 관련 공시에 대한 투자자들의 반응에 중요한 영향을 끼친다는 것을 나타낸다. 본 연구 는 한국 수출제조기업을 대상으로 R&D 활동의 가치를 실증적으로 제시하고, R&D 공시의 성과가 기업이 처한 경쟁환경에 영향을 받는다는 점 을 보여준다. 또한, 본 연구의 결과는 지속적인 R&D 투자와 해당 투자에 대한 커뮤니케이션을 지원하는 정책 및 경영 전략이 기업의 경쟁력에 기여할 수 있음을 시사한다.
This study investigates how R&D activities are assessed by the stock market in trade-dependent Korean economy by analyzing short-term stock market reactions to R&D announcements made by Korean export manufacturing companies. Using an event-study methodology, 305 R&D announcements made by 131 exporting manufacturers listed on KOSPI and KOSDAQ between 2001 and 2020 are analyzed. To explain variations in market responses, a cross-sectional analysis incorporating firm characteristics and the Competitive Strategy Measure (CSM) proposed by Sundaram et al. (1996) is conducted. The CSM measures the competitive dynamics within an industry, where under “strategic complement” competition, rivals respond to an announcement of innovative activity aggressively, and under “strategic substitute” competition, they accommodate the innovation. The results show that R&D announcements yield significantly positive abnormal returns on the announcement day, indicating that the market values R&D-related innovation signals by export-oriented manufacturers. Moreover, the positive market reaction is stronger for firms operating under “strategic substitute” competition, where competitors accommodate the innovation rather than respond aggressively, which is consistent with the CSM framework. These findings reflect the role of competitive dynamics in shaping how innovation-related announcements are interpreted by investors. This study offers empirical evidence on the value of R&D in the Korean export manufacturing context and demonstrates that the performance of R&D announcements is affected by the competitive environment in which firms operate. The results also suggest that policies and managerial strategies that support sustained R&D investment and communication of such investments may contribute to firms’ competitiveness.
