경상북도 의성지역의 벼 자동화 육묘시설에서 파종기별 적정 묘대기간을 선정하기 위하여 실험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 파종기가 늦어지고 육묘일수가 길어질수록 묘초장은 증가하였다. 의성지역에서 이앙 가능한 묘초장 10cm 이상을 확보하기 위해서는 10일묘는 5월20일, 15일묘는 5월5일이 파종적기로 나타났다. 묘충실도는 파종기가 늦어지고 육묘일수가 길어질수록 불량해졌는데, 10일묘의 경우는 6월 20일 이후, 15일 묘는 5월 10일 이후 파종에서 각각 묘충실도가 크게 나빠지는 경향이었다. 주당수수는 육묘기간이 길어질수록 감소하였고, 수당립수, 등숙률 및 천립중은 일정한 경향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 1모작인 5월 하순 이앙구의 정조수량은 10일묘에서 748 kg/10a로 가장 높았고 묘대일수가 길어질수록 감소하였으며, 2모작인 6월 27일 이앙구에서도 10일묘를 이앙했을 때 수량성이 가장 높았다.
The purpose of this study was carried out to determine the optimum sowing date and days after sowing (DAS) in automatic facility located at Uiseong of Gyeoungbuk province. The seedling height was rapidly increased with a delay of sowing time from April to May. The 10-day old seedlings with suitable plant height (> l0cm) for machine transplanting in the facility were obtained when the seeds sowed after May 20 at Uiseong in Gyeoungbuk province. The dry weight-height ratio of 10-day old seedlings was significantly decreased when the seeds sowed after June 20, and 15-days old seedlings did after May 10. No. of panicles/hill was reduced with increasing of days after seeding. But there were no significant difference among other yield components such as no. of grains/panicle, ratio of ripened grains, and 1,000 grain weight. The highest grain yield, 748kg/10a, was attained from the 10-day old seedlings transplanted at May 27 in comparision with those of 15-day and 20-day old seedlings. The grain yield of 10-day old seedlings transplanted at June 26 was also higher than that of 15-day old seedlings.
Vegetation composition and structure of forest community at Mt. Bislsan, Dalseung-Gun, Daegu in Korea, were studied using a qualitative with a quantitative approach and its vegetation types and various ecological characteristics such as the importance values, species diversity of the major component species analyzed. The forest vegetation were classified into 2 community group, 14 community, 6 group, and total of 18 vegetation units. Pinus densiflora distributed mainly from lower at the sea level, while Quercus mongolica tended to distributed upper altitude in Physiognomical vegetation. the species diversity values showed mostly 0.8 and Quercus dentata, Quercus serrato and Cornus controversa Community and so on highly showed to 1.0 and 1.1. According to the results of importance value analysis, the I.V. of pinus densiflora and Quercus mongolica highly showed in the tree and subtree layer, and Rhododendron mucronulatum and Lindera obtusiloba and so on highly showed in the shrub.
This study was carried out in order to provide the basic information for the development of medicinal plants in Ulleung island, Korea. This area had very rich and diverse flora; 495 taxa with l05 familes, 231 genera, 418 species, 1 subspeies, 63 varieties and 13 forms. The 94 medicinal plants were distributed in Ulleung. They were composed of 10 endemic species, 22 rare species and 62 economic species respectively.

멕시코와 네팔에서 도입된 고추 유전자원 50점과 대조품종 등을 포함한 총 130여점에 대하여 풋마름병과 역병에 대한 저항성을 검정하였다. 풋마름병에는 KC897, KC939, KC936가 KC126, KC350, KC351, KC353에 더하여 새로운 저항성 재료로 나타났다. 역병에는 저항성이 발견되지 않았다.
Above 130 accessions of pepper consisting of 50 introductions from Mexico and Nepal, and resistant and susceptible controls were tested for resistance to bacterial wilt and to Phytophthora root rot at seedling stage by artificial inoculation. Aa the results, KC897, KC939, KC936 were newly found resistant to bacterial wilt in addition to already known resistance sources such as KC126, KC350, KC351, KC353. No new sources of resistance to Phytophthora root rot were found among the introductions from Mexico and Nepal.

멕시코와 네팔에서 수집한 고추 유전자원 50점과 이병성 및 저항성 대조품종에 Stemphylium solani와 S. lycopersici 의 혼합접종으로 흰별무늬병(gray leaf spot)에 대한 저항성을 검정하고, 살균제를 살포하여 회복시킨 다음 다시 Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria를 접종하여 더뎅이병에 대한 저항성을 검정하였다 더뎅이병에는 KC866, KC872, KC902, KC905이 이미 알려진 KC43, KC47, KC220, KC319, KC320, KC380 등과 함께 저항성으로 나타났다. 더뎅이병, bacterial spot)에는 KC897이 이미 저항성으로 보고된 KC177(PI163192)보다 발병이 적어 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났으며 이어서 네팔에서 도입된 KC889, KC896, KC898이 저항성으로 나타났다.
Pepper genetic resources consisting of introductions from Mexico and Nepal and susceptible and resistant controls were tested for resistance to gray leaf spot and to bacterial spot by serially inoculating the two disease pathogens, Stemphylium spp. first and Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria next, with application of fungicide after evaluation of resistance to gray leaf spot first. KC866, KC872, KC902, KC905 were resistant to gray leaf spot in addition to known resistance sources, KC43, KC47, KC220, KC319, KC320, KC380. KC897 was on the top of the resistance sources list, even better than KC177(163192), and was followed by KC889, KC896, KC898, all of which were introductions from Nepal.

본 연구는 경주남산의 산림토양의 이화학적 특성을 분석하여 산림의 다목적이용과 남산의 산림보호 관리에 도움을 주고자 실시하였다. 조사지는 각 층위별로 토양성분을 분석하였고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 남산 산림토양의 물리적 특성은 토심이 31.4cm 이고 유효토심은 20.0cm 였으며 유기물층의 깊이는 5.9cm였다. 계곡부를 제외한 다른 조사지의 토성은 사질 양토이었다. 전체 토양 pH는 평균 4.76으로 우리나라 산림토양의 평균보다 낮게 나타났으며 유효인산의 함량은 평균 3.64로 유효인산의 함량이 매우 적은 것으로 나타났다. 치환성양이온(, , , )의 함량은 우리나라 산림토양의 함량과 보다 낮은 수치를 나타내었으며 특히 함량은 우리나라 산림토양의 평균 보다 낮은 함량인 를 나타내었다.
This study was carried out in order to produce useful material for the forest multiple use and forest protection management by soil physio-chemical analysis of studied area in Mt. Namsan. The result of soil physio-chemical analysis and statical analysis represented as following. In side of physical properties of forest soil in Mt. Namsan, Soil depth was average 31.4cm and available soil depth was average 20.0cm. Soil type was Brown forest soil that representative soil type in Korea. Soil texture was sandy loom(SL) except valley area. In side of chemical properties, the range of soil acidity was 4.29 ~ 5.19 (average 4.76), organic matter content was 3.17% that compared the lowest value to organic matter content of Korea forest soil. Available phosphorus was 3.64ppm that was lower than others forest soil. Exchangeable cation content was similar to the Korea brown forest soil. Cation exchange capacity(CEC) was in Mt. Narnsan.
