Purpose : This study was to analyse the suicide problems and the enneagram types of Korean society. Methods : This study was done a comparative analysis with the Korean enneagram types and suicide problems through the literature review. Results : There are 4 types of Korean Suicide : Acute stress type, Chronic stress type, Active suicide attempt, Mental health problem. The major causes of suicide are depression, interpersonal stress, economic problems. The enneagram of the Korean society overall is identified with type # 9 as the collective personality or national character. Conclusion: To prevent the suicide problems in Korea, it is required that the Korean go into the direction of integration from disintegration, after waking up from "indolence", the # 9 passion which is prevalent among the Korean. After finding out their passion, the Korean need to transform it in a positive way through continuous self-observing and self-remembering.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to develop a better enneagram program that promotes well-roundedness in personalities of children and adolescence. Method : The study analyses 23 children·adolescence enneagram research papers published from 2004 to 2013 in Korea by following the integrative review method by Whittmore and Knafl. Result : The analysis reveals that 23 research papers can be categorized by research area, research subject, and effect of research. Based on research area, there are 11 counseling psychology papers, 6 nursing paper, and 6 education paper. Based on research subject, college students account for most of the subject. 8 research have been done on college students; 6 research have been done on high school students; 6 research have been done on elementary school students; 3 research have been done on middle school students. Based on effect of research, 8 research papers regarding self-identity and another 8 research papers regarding human relationship have been used the most. Conclusion : The study concludes that various enneagram programs should be developed to promote sound growth of children and adolescence and that such programs should be incorporated into school curriculum in order for a follow-up study that measures its long-term effect to be conducted.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to find out the meaning and the essence of Enneagram Type 6’s Ambivalence. Method : The subjects of this study were 12 residents. For the analysis of data, the procedures of the Phenomenological analytic method presented by Colaizzi (1978). Result : From the analysis, 5 categories and 14 theme cluster were made. The 5 categories include ‘Having two opposite extremities minds’, ‘Leaning on the negative mind of opposite extremities’, ‘Continuos rebounding toward the opposite extremities’, ‘ Deviated behaving fro m the opposite extremities’, ‘Balancing within the opposite extremities’. Conclusion : Havin g live an integrated life result from this study tried to face on swaying the opposite two minds and receive myself by understanding.

Purpose : To analyze deception, which is Enneagram type 3 passion, in order to utilize it as a base data to provide directional guidance for inducement of maturity that can rediscover and bring about positive change of awareness with respect to passion by investigating the characteristic of Enneagram type 3. Methods : This study used Walker and Avant’ process of concept analysis. Results : Deception can be defined by the following attributes: 1)surface driven focus setting, 2)success driven, 3)turning away from one’s self, 4)building psychological wall, 5)recognition of true human nature. The antecedents of relocation deception consisted of these facts: 1)maintaining the ideal self image, 2)acceptance by others. There are consequences which occur as a result of relocation deception: 1)confusion of self image, 2)distorted belief, 3)self conviction. Conclusion : Deception causes one’s self to lose the ability to differentiate one’s true inner senses versus outer, causing outer disorder from the inability to differentiate, thus taking form of one’s self. However, acknowledging one’s self-deception serves as the key factor in returning back to the virtue of honesty.
