This study aimed to develop contemporary wedding dress designs by applying the formative characteristics of Western artistic styles. Through a literature review, the historical development of Western wedding dresses and the characteristics of Classicism, Baroque, Neoclassicism, and Romanticism were examined. Design elements related to silhouette, form, decoration, and materials were extracted and analyzed. The findings revealed that Classicism, characterized by order, balance, proportion, and harmony, showed the greatest applicability to contemporary wedding dress design. Based on these characteristics, two wedding dress designs were developed. Design 1 emphasized elegance and balanced body proportions through a mermaid silhouette for garden weddings, while Design 2 expressed architectural order and symmetry through an A-line silhouette for formal wedding venues. The designs were evaluated using CLO 3D virtual fitting simulations. Pressure and strain analyses confirmed satisfactory wearability and structural stability. The results demonstrated that the formative characteristics of Classicism can be effectively reinterpreted in contemporary wedding dress design. This study suggests the potential of historical artistic styles as creative resources for modern fashion design and highlights the applicability of digital fashion technology in the design development process.

This study aims to analyze how professional football clubs based in Seoul can strategically reorganize themselves in response to the city’s fragmented urban identity, and to propose concrete management strategies to effectively expand their fan base. To this end, this study conducted content analysis of online discourse and semi-structured interviews to identify the emotional and symbolic dynamics underlying Seoul citizens’ residential identities. In addition, a focus group interview with experts was held to examine the practical applicability of reorganizing club management strategies in response to identity diversification. The findings reveal a weakening of a unified metropolitan identity and a growing sense of emotional belonging and symbolic capital at the district level, suggesting that traditional city-scale club strategies may be insufficient to address these emerging identity structures. Based on ㅊ insights, the presnet study proposes practical strategies such as incorporating district names into club identities, redesigning branding to reflect local sentiments, and establishing partnerships with schools and businesses within each district. Furthermore, by applying social identity theory and place identity theory to the strategic organization of sports clubs, the current study provides a theoretical framework that contributes to both sports sociology and sport management scholarship.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of hybrid exercise culture on exercise satisfaction and reparticipation intention and to verify the mediating role of exercise satisfaction. The participants consisted of 381 adults who had experienced both offline exercise activities and digital platform-based exercise participation within the previous six months. Data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling, and bootstrapping with SPSS 28.0 and AMOS 28.0. The results showed that digital connectivity, social interaction, exercise convenience, and self-management support had significant positive effects on exercise satisfaction. Digital connectivity, exercise convenience, and self-management support significantly influenced reparticipation intention, whereas social interaction did not. Exercise satisfaction had a significant positive effect on reparticipation intention and mediated the relationship between hybrid exercise culture and reparticipation intention. These findings suggest that hybrid exercise culture enhances exercise satisfaction and promotes continuous exercise participation. This study contributes to understanding the mechanism through which the integration of digital platforms and offline exercise environments influences exercise behavior.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of exercise routine formation on self-efficacy and health behavior among sport-for-all participants and to verify the mediating role of self-efficacy. Exercise routine formation was conceptualized as the extent to which exercise behavior becomes routinized and integrated into daily life through repeated practice. A total of 389 adults regularly participating in sport-for-all activities were surveyed. Data were analyzed using SPSS 28.0 and AMOS 28.0. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) were conducted to test the proposed relationships, and bootstrapping analysis was performed to examine the mediating effect. The results indicated that exercise routine formation had a significant positive effect on self-efficacy and health behavior. Self-efficacy also had a significant positive effect on health behavior. Furthermore, self-efficacy partially mediated the relationship between exercise routine formation and health behavior. These findings suggest that exercise routine formation serves as an important behavioral mechanism for enhancing self-efficacy and promoting health behavior among sport-for-all participants. The study provides empirical evidence supporting the role of exercise routinization in fostering healthy lifestyles and offers practical implications for developing effective sport-for-all and health promotion programs.

This study examined the effects of relational benefits perceived by sports center users on exercise commitment and re-enrollment intention, and the effect of exercise commitment on re-enrollment intention. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that social benefits and customization benefits had significant positive effects on both exercise commitment and re-enrollment intention. Psychological benefits did not show significant effects, while economic benefits had a significant negative effect on re-enrollment intention. In addition, exercise commitment had a significant positive effect on re-enrollment intention. These findings suggest that social relationships and customized services are more important than economic benefits in enhancing users' exercise commitment and re-enrollment intention in sports centers.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of coaches' controlling coaching style on psychological need thwarting and athlete burnout. In addition, this study investigated the effect of psychological need thwarting on burnout to better understand the psychological adaptation and maladjustment process of athletes. The participants were 450 soccer players from Busan and Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Data were collected using a convenience sampling method. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis with SPSS. The results were as follows. First, coaches' controlling coaching style had a significant positive effect on psychological need thwarting. Second, coaches' controlling coaching style had a significant positive effect on burnout. Third, psychological need thwarting had a significant positive effect on burnout. Furthermore, correlation analyses revealed that controlling coaching style was positively associated with both psychological need thwarting and burnout, while psychological need thwarting showed a strong positive correlation with burnout. These findings suggest that coaches' controlling behaviors play a critical role in increasing athletes' psychological need thwarting and burnout. Therefore, it is important for coaches to minimize controlling behaviors and create autonomy-supportive environments to promote athletes' psychological well-being and sustainable sport participation.
