This paper explores the evolution of Pilates, balancing its classical roots with modern adaptations. The author with two decades of experience, emphasizes the significance of understanding Pilates' historical context, including its core principles such as breath, concentration, and control, before incorporating personal styles into teaching. Furthermore, the advent of technology and social media has democratized access to Pilates instruction but raised concerns over the authenticity of training and the proliferation of unqualified instructors. Amidst these changes, it is crucial for practitioners to discern credible sources of Pilates education and to uphold the integrity of the original method. In conclusion, fostering a genuine passion for Pilates, while honoring its foundational practices, can distinguish knowledgeable instructors in an increasingly crowded market, ultimately benefiting both teachers and their students. Therefore, it addresses the impact of social media and technological changes, advocating for preserving the method's authenticity while embracing mindful innovation to promote accessibility and holistic well-being.

The research focuses on two main aspects: 1) The program development process, based on the researcher's 2018 doctoral thesis, which outlines a four-stage approach emphasizing feedback from dancers and experts. 2) The potential for public application, drawing from a 2021 study that applied the program to female college students. The study analyzes the effects of Pilates on fitness and health perception. By demonstrating the progression from dancers' health management to public wellness promotion, this research aims to bridge the gap between specialized dance training and public health, offering insights into the broader applications of dance-inspired fitness programs.
This study aims to examine the effect of an ambient music and movement-based listening program on stress, anxiety, and depression in single-person households. The participants of the study consisted of 12 single-person households residing in Seoul, and the program was conducted once a week for 4 weeks, total of 4 sessions, each 90 minutes long, from April 1 to April 22, 2024. The paired sample t-test analyzed the changes in the stress scale, anxiety scale, and depression scale. As a result, the participants' stress, anxiety, and depression scores all decreased after the program compared to before. This confirmed that the ambient music and movement-based listening program is effective in reducing stress in single-person households. This is expected to provide foundational data for future studies on integrated music therapy combining ambient music and movement, and could also be actively applied in the development of multifunctional art therapy programs.

Flowers were frequently used as a material in the field of art during the Chǒngjae(呈 才, Korean court dance). In particular, flowers appear in 43 types of the recorded in『Uigwe』 that made from King Jeongjo to King Gojong, but studies on the flower in the royal court dances are insufficient. As a result, in the case of Chǒngjae, since it is a total art that combines Ka(歌, Song), Ak(樂, Performance), Mu(舞, Dance), and poetry, not only should each element be examined independently, but also interpreted and analyzed by paying attention to the organic relationship between them. This is the characteristic of Chǒngjae, and this study aims to evoke the concept of Chǒngjae once again through flowers.
