Korean art dance has been created in various ways in the context of rapidly changing society and culture and the flow of modernist art dance. Contemporary dance, which has been developed through repeated innovations, has faced new issues related to creation in a changed environment. For a discussion related to this, first, we will examine the aspects of domestic artistic dance that have been developed by mixing the introduction of Western dance styles and the heritage of tradition in the historical flow. And I will discuss the changes in contemporary dance forms and issues related to the audience’s aesthetic experience.
This study introduces a real case of analyzing the taste of paid audiences at a domestic complex performance hall. For analysis, a survey was conducted on the audience of a large complex performance hall that performs various genres. First, the audience segmentation analysis was conducted by dividing the sample of respondents into three groups(heavy users, medium users, and light users) according to the amount of viewing. Light users were characterized by viewing popular performing arts. Heavy and medium users showed omnivore characteristics that cross pure and popular art. Second, as a result of market segmentation according to taste based on the multi-genre viewing behavior of audiences(heavy users and medium users), it was confirmed that there were “pure art audience group,” “public performance audience group,” and “classical music audience group.” “public performance audience group,” and “classical music audience group.” There were various types according to the audience's taste, and genre changes were occurring in different ways depending on the taste, focusing on classical music, pure performing arts, and popular performing arts. In the future, it is expected that this study can be used to establish appropriate marketing strategies by segmentation analysis based on actual performance audience data.
『Natya Shastra』 is the origin of every Indian dance style, and the oldest dance, Bharatanatyam which has been handed down in Tamil Nadu, South India, is the prototype of it. This study examines the origins of Indian dances in cultural, social, and religious aspects and investigates to understand the kind of dance transmitted to Devadasi. Also it attempts to find the spirits implied in Indian dances as well as the reason why Indian culture should deal with mythic subject matters. As a result, it can be found that the myth-related origins of Indian dances have made many gestures, mythological symbolic representation systems so as to express them within the religious boundaries.
The purpose of this study is to develop a Dance-Wellness program for mitigating smartphone overdependence of preschoolers Program development is based on a dance/kinesthetic science knowledge system, a persuasion knowledge model(PKM) based on art activity for family therapy, and on the researcher’s clinical experience. The development process is as follows. 1st stage was setting the research model guidelines through document research and consultation. 2nd stage was developing the preliminary program. 3rd stage was applying and assessing the preliminary program. 4th stage was developing the final program by revising and supplementing the evaluation results from the preliminary program.
