Beauty Art typically has been viewed as the best way to represent women's beauty. Specifically, nail art is a mean for the new generation to unveil their individuality. Nail-shop customers usually feel refreshed, and that emotional change gives them aesthetic and emotional satisfaction. The popularization of nail art and the growth of nail-art market arises the people's concern to the necessity of marketing strategy as part of the beauty industry, as well as the importance of service quality and customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to examine women's changing view of nail care and relevant consumption behavior. Also to analyze the voice of customers about the quality of services provided by nail shops, and to have the right understanding of the industry and as well as to determine some of the right directions for marketing.

This study analyzes the women's hair style and costume in late Chosun Dynasty appeared in Shin Yoon Bok' genre painting. Conclusions are as follows; First, in case of woman costume, the Jergori was short and the Chima was too long. The trend of simplified clothes on upper body and abundant clothes on lower body appeared. In addition, as 'geodulchima' became popular, women came to of en show an erotic beauty by exposing their underwear below chima. Second, in the women's hair style appeared in Shin Yoon Bok' genre painting, a unmarried woman did the braids and a feme covert did 'Ungeon Meori' and 'Tremeori'(a swept-back hair with the chignon) regardless of status. We can imagine the women's hair styles of a higher class who imitated those of 'Kie-sangs' through the features of Kie-sangs who were illustrated by Shin yoon bok.

This research thesis is designed to put Korean traditional and unique wedding dress with a greater significance and value than any other dress into application right for the global and contemporary trend, as part of a bid to show Korean traditional beauty. To do it, this thesis has attempted to add the traditional beauty to Korean inherent wedding dress and contemporary wedding dress, with the use of various traditional beauty elements, such as the line firm, materials and color based on the research on wedding dress, such as, 'Wonsam' or 'Unlined Jacket, and 'Long-sleeve Red Silk Jacket', and 'Dangeu' or 'Court Suit' that women wore in the Joseon Dynasty. To recreate Korean traditional beauty of line this research thesis has firstly put into the application the sleeve of 'Wonsam' or 'Unlined Jacket' and the form of a large section of 'Wonsam' of 'Unlined Jacket', and 'Doreyon Line' or 'Trimming Line' of 'Dangeu' or 'Court Suit' as wedding dress that women wore in the Joseon Dynasty. Secondly, this thesis has applied lotus and peony patterns out of traditional ones inlaid with 'Long-Sleeve Silk Jacket' into the contemporary wedding dress to develop a creative and special design. Thirdly, regarding the expressive pattern technique, this thesis has designed the repetitive rhythmical pattern with the use of beading technique and embroidery technique, which makes needle work picture and pattern in fabric. Lastly, it can demonstrate the original and distinct Korean style in application of western wedding dress into traditional and contemporary dress, by devising two collections of dress art pieces.

Shade cosmetics that were considered to be women's exclusive possession, are now expanding its market to men and teenagers. As a result, development of subdivided shade cosmetics is becoming active. In these market environments consumers demand various personalized desires through beauty care, therefore enterprises have to establish marketing strategies to meet these desires. Accordingly this study aimed to provide information actually needed in cosmetics development by researching shade cosmetics in subdivision according to items and basic data that will be helpful in establishing marketing strategies of shade cosmetics. The survey was conducted among adult females with age of 20 to 26, living in Seoul and several local cities. 387 survey papers were used in the analysis among 500 survey papers distributed. The results were summarized as following. First of all, many women were doing overall makeup generally. The younger they tended to do partial makeup more and the older they tended to do overall makeup more according to the analysis on actual conditions of using shade cosmetics. Many women got information related to shade cosmetics from friends or family. This is an example of the fact that shows collecting information from human relationship such as friends and family played an important role and surrounding environment can be a factor that can have impact on purchasing behavior. Purpose of makeup was mostly to show courtesy and the younger they tend to answer that they do makeup to look beautiful. The order of the most frequently used shade makeup was makeup base>foundation>two way cake. The most important focusing point in shade makeup was the eye. In choosing colors they chose their favorites colors most frequently.

Korean embroidery is the long historical industrial arts of real life and has handed down Korean sentiment up to now. Korean traditional embroidered pattern is designed to wish someone's health and luck, who uses the embroidery on the clothes and the goods in real life. Especially, the ten longevity symbols' design is represented as 10 which means perfection in oriental philosophy, the sun, mountain, cloud, water, crane, rock, turtle, pine tree, the elixir of life and deer; these 10 symbols show how ancient Korean believe and wish perpetual youth. However, fiber material used embroidery relic has difficulty in preserving for long period compared to other relic descended from historical events for long time and their preserved state isn't so good owing to have been used directly in the real life. Therefore, it is essentially embossed to preserve the embroidery relic and pattern, and make DB for the data. With preservation of the pictures about the handicraft, it's necessary to preserve embroidery technique and make DB through digital imagination. Through the process, we can apply Korean embroidery image to cul-duct package and digital image related field, and it will be helpful to make the tradition popular. In this study, through the research for the embroidery technique applied pattern on the embroidery relic of ten longevity symbols, we'll establish the cultural identification of Korean embroidery image and then develop a worldwide Korean image.
