최근 IT중소기업들은 자체 솔루션의 지속적인 개발을 위해 하드웨어와 인프라 확보에 주력하고 있다. 특히 IT중소기업들은 핵심 기술 확보 에 많은 노력을 들이고 있다. 그러나 이러한 적극적인 경쟁력 확보를 위한 노력에도 불구하고, 기술협력이나 산학협력과 같은 활동을 하지 못해 성장동력을 확보하지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 하드웨어(인프라), 소프트웨어(기술), 인적역량 등 내부역량과 시장수요, 경쟁강도, 기술수준 등으로 구성된 외부요인 등 IT중소기업의 기술개발 성과를 극대화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 최신 기술에 대한 신속하고 시기적절한 대응을 위해 기업 간 또는 산학 간 협력을 활용하여 성과를 얻을 수 있는지, 이러한 협력활동을 통해 기술개발 활동이 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한 협력과 기술개발을 통해 정부의 다자간 기업지원이 기업성과에서 어떻게 규제되는지 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구는 IT중소기업의 대내외적 요인이 기술개발 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 정부지원의 규제역할을 기술개발을 통해 검증하고자 하였다. 이 밖에도 중소 IT기업의 성장단계인 창업단계와 성장단계에는 다른 차이점이 있을 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 차이를 통해 정부지원 성장단계별 성과에 영향을 미치는 선행요인을 파악한다면 정부지원정책 수립에 시사점을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.
Recently, small and medium-sized IT companies are focusing on securing hardware and infrastructure for continuous development of their own solutions. In particular, small and medium-sized IT companies are making great efforts to secure core technologies. However, despite efforts to secure such active competitiveness, it has not been able to secure growth engines due to the lack of activities such as technology cooperation or industry-academic cooperation. Therefore, this study aims to maximize the technology development performance of IT SMEs, including internal competencies including hardware (infrastructure), software (technology), and human capabilities, and external factors consisting of market demand, intensity of competition, and technology level. The purpose of this study is to verify whether results can be obtained by utilizing cooperation between companies or between industry and academia for a quick and timely response to the latest technologies, and the impact of technology development activities through such cooperation activities on corporate performance. In addition, it is intended to verify how multilateral corporate support from the government is regulated in corporate performance through cooperation and technology development. This study attempted to verify the regulating role of government support in the influence of internal and external factors of IT SMEs on technology development performance through technology development. In addition, it is believed that there will be other differences between the startup stage and the growth stage, which are the growth stages of small and medium IT companies. If the preceding factors influencing the performance of each growth stage in government support are identified through these differences, it will be possible to present implications for the establishment of government support policies.
Strategy and Development of Recycling Technology for End-of-Life Vehicles(ELVs) in Germany

최근 들어 산업화된 국가에서 승용차의 대수는 비약적으로 증가하고 있으며 이러한 추세는 당분간 지속될 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 사용 후 폐기되는 자동차의 대수 또한 증가할 것이며 이를 재활용하는 문제가 심각히 제기되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 2000 년 9 월 유럽에서 제정된 폐기 자동차의 처리에 관한 규제 조항이 독일에서는 2002 년 7 월 1 일부터 법률로서의 효력을 지니게 되었다. 이 법률 제정의 장기적 목표는 차후 10 년 내에 폐 자동차를 처리하는 과정에서 발생하는 잔류물을 현재의 30 Wt.%에서 5 Wt.% 미만으로 줄이는데 있다. 따라서 차후 자동차를 구성하는 재료들에 대한 좀더 혁신적이고도 효율적인 재활용 기술들이 개발될 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 자동차 생산 산업에서 디자인 공정은 계속하여 변화되고 있는 바, 이는 자동차 운행 시 연료를 절감하기 위한 선택적 장치와 새로운 기술적인 해결책에 대한 요구가 강하게 제기되고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 자동차 제조에 사용되는 재료로서 알루미늄과 플라스틱 등과 같은 가벼운 재료들의 사용량은 증가하고 있으며 철과 같은 무거운 재료들은 그 사용량이 점차 감소하고 있다. 그런데 자동차 구성 재료들 가운데 플라스틱류는 흔히 합성된 상태로 사용되고 있으므로 이를 기계적 방법에 의해 각각의 구성 플라스틱 성분으로 분리하기는 불가능하다. 이러한 이유로 인해 폐 자동차를 구성하는 물질들의 효율적 재활용을 위해서는 재활용하기에 용이한 상태로 자동차를 디자인하여 제조하는 것이 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 이와 함께 폐 자동차 재활용 율을 향상시키는데 관한 규제를 만족시키기 위해서는 자동차 생산업체와 재활용 산업체의 통합적 협동체제가 요구된다.
The quantity of passenger cars in industrial countries has been significantly increased in recent years. According to prognoses,this tendency is likely to continue in the forthcoming future. As a direct consequence, an increase of End-of-Life-Vehicles (ELV)will confront us with the problem of “ELV-Recycling”. In order to cope with this situation, the European regulation for the treat-ment of End-of-Life-Vehicles (09/2000) has been transferred to national law in Germany (ELV-Regulation from 1 July 2002).For that reason, there is a need for innovative and more efficient recycling techniques tailored to future materials in automobiles.The design process at automotive industry is continuously changing due to the strong demand on optional equipment and newtechnical solutions for fuel saving. Light materials, such as aluminum and plastics, consequently become more important andcause a decrease of ferrous metals. Since plastic materials are often used as compounds, a separation into initial material typesby means of mechanical recycling methods is not possible. For that reason, efficient recycling can only be realized by introducingrecycling-friendly car designs. In the end an integrated approach of auto makers and recycling industry is of decisive significancefor the fulfillment of future regulations.
Development of Urban Mine Recycling Technology by Machine Learning

The field of recycling for waste electronic components, which is the typical example of an urban mine, requires the development of useful sorting techniques. In this study, a sorter based on image identification by deep learning was developed to select electronic components into four groups. They were recovered from waste printed circuit boards and should be separated to depend on the difference after treatment. The sorter consists of a workstation with GPU, camera, belt conveyor, air compressor. A small piece (less than 3.5 cm) of electronic components on the belt conveyor (belt speed: 6 cm/s) was taken and learned as teaching data. The accuracy of the image identification was 96% as kinds and 99% as groups. The optimum condition of sorting was determined by evaluating accuracies of image identification and recovery rates by blowdown when changing the operating condition such as belt speed and blowdown time of compressed air. Under the optimum condition, the accuracy of image classification in groups was 98.7%. The sorting rate was more than 70%.
Development and Research Trends of TBM Manufacturing Technology in China

Chinese TBM industry has rapidly developed over the past decade, while China can beregarded as the most remarkable TBM market in the world. After sixty years of development, China already has a complete set of technologies in all domains of TBM, including design, manufacturing, operation and tunnel construction, which are still evolving. The growth of the technology is a result of continuous research and development by the industry and academia under the strongly support from Chinese government. Inorder to complete independent technology development and play a leading role in the global TBM market, the strategy of China has a good reference value for Korea. The history of TBM technology in China was reviewed, and the major research projects and achievements were summarized. Finally, through the implications from the Chinese case, the research and development of TBM technology in Korea and its future research topics were discussed.

In this paper, an electric tram system with a wireless power transfer system based on SMFIR technology is presented. The detailed technology of power-line infra, regulator, and pick-up device is described for train application, respectively. Furthermore, implementation and experimental results for wireless power transfer electric tram are presented.

다양한 분야 간 기술 융복합화와 함께 빠르게 변화하고 있는 오늘날의 사업 환경에서, 신기술 개발 및 기술 사업화 역량은 중소기업의 생존과 성장에 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 한국의 중소기업으로부터 수집된 2,000개의 데이터를 사용하여 개방형 혁신의 관점을 기반으로 개발된 연구 모형을 실증적으로 검증한다. 본 연구의 실증 분석 결과는 중소기업의 외부 기술협력 네트워크와 외부 정보 네트워크의 다양성이 중소기업의 기술 사업화 역량에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 이러한 정(+)의 영향은 중소기업의 신기술 개발 역량에 의하여 완전 매개 된다는 것을 보여준다. 이러한 실증 분석 결과를 바탕으로, 본 연구는 특히 기업가정신을 추구하는 중소기업의 경영자들의 관점에서 의미 있는 시사점을 제공한다.
In today’s rapidly-changing business context with technology convergence among various fields, new technology development and technology commercialization capabilities are very important to the survival and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This study develops the research model based on the open innovation perspective and empirically tests it by using 2,000 data from SMEs in South Korea. The empirical analysis result reveals that SMEs’ external technology collaboration network and external information network diversities have positive effects on their technology commercialization capability, and these effects are fully mediated by their new technology development capability. Based on these results, the study provides meaningful implications especially in terms of SMEs’ managers who pursue entrepreneurship.

Artificial insemination and embryo transfer is one of the most important factors affecting to the production of fawn from deer nuclear transfer in the field of deer farms. This study* was conducted to establish the production technology of nuclear transfered embryo in deer. For estrus synchronization or superovulation tretments in flower deer and elk, each 10 does were inserted into the vagina for 14 days with CIDR (Pfizer New Zealand Ltd., NZ) for elk and Ring-CIDR (Bioculture Co., Ltd., Korea) for flower deer, and then those inserted devices were removed. The estrus synchronization of each 6 does were induced by the intramuscular injection of PGF2α (25 mg/head) and PG600 (hCG 200IU + PMSG 400IU, Intevet, Holland). Then, the superovulation of each 4 does of flower deer and elk was induced by additional injection of FSH (200 mg/ head) twice with an interval of 24 hours , respectively. Follicular oocytes were collected from each 2 does superovulated after 48 hours since the injection of PG600 and FSH. In the meantime, the ovarian response and the number of the collected ovarian follicles were investigated with the surgical operations. As a result, the average number of the collected ovarian follicles were 8.5 and 9.0 in flower deer and elk, respectively. The ovarian follicles collected from each two does were cultured in vitro for 48 hours with m-DMEM medium, and then the cell fusion was carried out after the nuclear transfer by the antler cell. As a result, 5 out of 18 ovarian follicles collected from 2 elk does were reached on the MII stage, but there was no generation resulting from the nuclear transferred embryos by the antler cell after enucleation. In 2 flower does, 7 out of 17 ovarian follicles were reached to the MII stage, but one of them was developed to parthenogenetic embryo as well despite a case of fusion from the nuclear transferred embryo. Embryos were collected in a surgical way on the 7th day after artificial insemination, numbers of average embryos collected were 2.5 and 3.0 in each 2 flower deer and elk does superovulated, respectively. The collected two embryos were transplanted to each 2 does synchronized. As a result, a head of fawn was produced from only one elk doe, where as a head of fawn were delivered from one out of 4 elk does artificial inseminated. Given these findings, we consider that more or less of problems might have occurred in vitro culture system of ovarian follicles in the production of nuclear transfered deer embryos. In addition, the greatest reason why both the aetificial insemination and embryo transfer failed was considered attributable to stress due to anesthesia and catching.

Large wind turbine generators with high temperature superconductors (HTS) are in incessant development because of their advantages such as weight and volume reduction and the increased efficiency compared with conventional technologies. In addition, nowadays the wind turbine market is growing in a function of time, increasing the capacity and energy production of the wind farms installed and increasing the electrical power for the electrical generators installed. As a consequence, it is raising the wind power energy contribution for the global electricity demand. In this study, a forecast of wind energy development will be firstly emphasized, then it continue presenting a recent status of the technology development of large scale HTSG for wind power followed by an explanation of HTS wire trend, cryogenics cooling systems concept, HTS magnets field coil stability and other technological parts for optimization of HTS generator design – operating temperature, design topology, field coil shape and level cost of energy, as well. Finally, the most relevant projects and designs of HTS generators specifically for offshore wind power systems are also mentioned in this study.

This paper introduces the selected Korea R&D project on “Service life extension and restoration of Al 7XXX alloys by nanocrystal surface modification systems” this year. The final goal is to develop a portable UNSM device and process technology using ultrasonic nanocrystal surface modification (UNSM) technology. It is intended to solve the problem of corrosion and corrosion-fatigue of aluminum alloys used in aircraft structures. A portable surface strengthening device of other technologies has already been developed. However, it was necessary to develop a portable type product of the UNSM technology, which has strengths in improving compressive residual stress, corrosion, and corrosion fatigue. There was also a demand from global aircraft manufacturers. Through this development, we plan to advance into the MRO service of aircraft manufacturers and the maintenance/repair of domestic military aircraft and KAI. We expect a sustainable economy and development by contributing to resource saving.

기업의 신기술 개발 역량은 기술 융합 및 발전과 함께 빠르게 변화하고 있는 사업 환경의 치열한 경쟁 속에서 성공적인 제품혁신과 프로세스 혁신을 창출하는 데에 필수적이다. 본 연구는 개방형 혁신의 관점에서 외부 정보 네트워크의 다양성이 중소 벤처기업의 신기술 개발 역량에 미치는 직접 효과와 이러한 직접 효과에 미치는 제품 기획 역량의 매개 효과에 대한 연구 모형을 개발한다. 683개의 중소 벤처기업 데이터를 사용하여 최소 자승 회귀 분석을 실시한 통계적 연구 모형 검증 결과를 통해, 본 연구는 다음과 같은 2가지의 주요 연구 결과를 제공 한다. 첫째, 중소 벤처기업의 외부 정보 네트워크의 다양성은 신기술 개발 역량에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 중소 벤처기업의 제품 기획 역량은 외부 정보 네트워크의 다양성이 신기술 개발 역량에 미치는 정(+)의 영향을 완전 매개한다.
Enterprises’ new technology development capability is essential for creating successful product innovation and process innovation in the heavy competition in the business context changing quickly with technology convergence and development. Based on the open innovation perspective, this research develops a research model about the direct effect of small and medium venture companies’ exterior information network heterogeneity on their new technology development capability and the mediating impact of their product planning capability on this direct effect. This study statistically tests the research model by using the ordinary least squares regression with the 683 small and medium venture companies, providing two major findings as follows. One finding is that small and medium venture companies’ exterior information network heterogeneity positively impacts their new technology development capability. The other finding is that small and medium venture companies’ product planning capability perfectly mediates the positive effect of their exterior information network heterogeneity on their new technology development capability.

차세대 이동통신 관련 경쟁기업의 기술적 역량분석을 위해 특허정보 분석을 실시하였다. 특허정보의 분석 방법으로는 출원인 분석, 기술분류 분석, 지표분석 등 여러 분석방법을 활용하였다. 경쟁기업의 기술적 역량분석 1단 계로 특허활동도(Patent Activity:PA)가 높은 출원인을 선별하였고, 2단계로 기술자립도(Technological Independence:TI) 가 높은 기술분류를 선별하였다. 그리고 1단계와 2단계 결과를 매칭하여 특허활동도가 높은 주요 출원인 중에서 기술 자립도가 높은 기술분류에 대한 포트폴리오를 작성하였다. 이와 같은 과정을 통해 경쟁기업간에 집중적으로 연구되고 있는 중요 기술 포트폴리오를 분석할 수 있다. 이 분석 결과는 기업의 R&D계획, 특허전략 수립 등 전략적 R&D 관 리 수행을 돕는 역할을 할 것이다.
Patent information analysis has been carried out for technological capability analysis of competitors relating to next generation mobile communication. Various analysis methods, such as applicant analysis, technology classification analysis, indicator analysis and the like have been utilized as a method of analyzing patent information. As a first step for the technological capability analysis of competitors, applicants having high patent activity(PA) were selected, and as a second step therefor, technology classifications showing high technological independence (TI) were selected. Furthermore, portfolios for technology classifications showing high technological independence in the patents of main applicants having high patent activity by matching results the first and second steps together were prepared. Through such a process, portfolios for important technologies which have been concentrically researched by competitors could be analyzed. Accordingly, the present analysis results will help to carry out strategic R&D management, such as the establishment of company R&D plans and patent strategies.

본 연구는 중소기업의 외부 기술 정보 네트워크에 대한 연구 흐름의 깊이를 더하기 위해 외부 기술 정보네트워크의 다양성이 중소기업의 기술개발로 인한 매출 증대에 미치는 직접적인 영향 뿐만 아니라, 이러한 직접인 영향에 대한 생산성 향상의 매개 효과와 최고 경영자가 주도하는 기술 개발의 조절 효과를 실증적으로 분석한다. 2,200개의 한국 중소기업 데이터를 사용한 최소자승 회귀분석을 바탕으로 다음과 같은 결과를 본 연구는 제공한다. 첫째, 중소기업의 외부 기술 정보 네트워크의 다양성은 기술 개발로 인한 매출 성장에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 중소기업의 생산성 향상은 외부 기술 정보 네트워크의 다양성이 매출 성장에 미치는 이러한 정(+) 영향을 부분 매개한다. 셋째, 최고경영자가 주도하는 기술개 발은 중소기업의 외부 기술 정보 네트워크의 다양성이 매출 성장에 미치는 정(+)의 영향을 조절한다.
This research empirically analyzes not only the direct impact of the external technological information network diversity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on the sales growth from their technology development but also the mediating impact of their productivity improvement and the moderating effect of the technology development driven by CEO on this direct impact in order to deepen the research stream on SMEs’ external technological information network. Based on the ordinary least squares regression by using 2,200 data of South Korean SMEs, this study reveals the three findings. First, SMEs’ external technological information network diversity positively influences their sales growth from technology development. Second, SMEs’ productivity improvement partially mediates this positive influence of the external technological information network diversity. Third, SMEs’ technology development driven by CEO moderates the positive influence.

New technology development capability plays a key role in making small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) increase their innovation performance, such as in product or process innovation. To examine the influencing factors of SMEs' new technology development capability, this study empirically analyzes the mediating effects of SMEs' process design capability and product interior design capability on the positive association between their external information network diversity and new technology development capability. This study performs the ordinary least squares regression on a sample of 2,000 South Korean SMEs. Results reveal that SMEs' process design capability fully mediates, and product interior design capability partially mediates the positive association between the external information network diversity and new technology development capability.

The purpose of this study is to develop a model for developing integrated education programs centered on technology and engineering at STEM/STEM fields in elementary, middle and high schools. We explored ways to integrate the various knowledge of the subject that students learned in class to solve the problem when they encountered technological and engineering problems that occurred in real-world. It also developed an integrated education model that is based on the development of integrated education programs centered on the areas of technology and engineering. The results of the study make it easier for teachers to develop integrated education programs centered on technology and engineering. This research also has significant value because the hands-on activities in STEM/STEM field are mostly about technology and engineering. This will foster high-level thinking skills such as the ability to integrate the divided forms of knowledge learned from each of the subjects oriented in technology and engineering education, the ability to solve problems, the ability to cooperate, the ability to communicate and decide, and creativity.
